Aiming at the current environmental problems, the thermal oxidation treatment for industrial VOCs emission is a common and effective measure. This paper studies on the optimization effect of one optimization method for direct VOCs thermal oxidation of a color aluminum spraying production line based on Aspen-Plus. According to the direct VOCs thermal oxidation process with a 30000 m³/h circulating air volume, propose the flue gas reflux and coating room drainage technology. Use the second law of thermodynamics, and the exergy flow analysis shows the methane consumption could be reduced 12%. Carbon emissions also decreased significantly, with 3.42% reduction. These findings are practical for industrial production cost saving and environmental protection problems solving.

Objective To explore the feasibility of automatic segmentation of clinical target volume (CTV) and organs at risk (OARs) for cervical cancer using AccuLearning (AL) based on geometric and dosimetric indices. Methods Seventy-five CT localization images with manual contouring data of postoperative cervical cancer were enrolled in this study. Sixty cases were randomly selected to trained to generate automatic segmentation model by AL, and the CTV and OARs of the remaining 15 cases were automatically contoured. Radiotherapy plans on the automatic segmentation contours were imported on the CT images of manual contours. The efficiency, Dice similarity coefficient (DSC), Hausdorff distance (HD) and dosimetric parameters were compared between the two methods. Results The time of automatic segmentation was significantly shorter than that of the manual contour (P < 0.05). The DSC of all structures were ≥ 0.87. The HD of bowel bag and rectum were about 10 mm, and that of the rest of OARs were less than 5 mm. CTV (D98, V90%, V95%, Dmean, HI, bowel bag (V50) and bladder (V50) had significant differences in dosimetric comparison (P < 0.05). Conclusion The automatic segmentation model based on AL can improve the efficiency of radiotherapy. Automatic segmentation of OARs has the potential of clinical application, while that of CTV still needs to be further modified. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Although voluminous Jurassic ophiolites have been reported along the Bangong–Nujiang Suture Zone (BNSZ), the tectonic setting of ophiolites and the Jurassic evolution history of the Meso-Tethys Ocean remain mysterious. This study presents petrological, geochronological and geochemical data for newly discovered Jurassic ophiolitic complex in the Asa area, the Shiquanhe–Namco Ophiolite sub-belt (SNO sub-belt) of BNSZ. Detailed geological investigations and zircon U-Pb dating reveal that the Jurassic ophiolitic complex are composed of a suite of Mid-Late Jurassic (165–158 Ma) ophiolite and Early Jurassic gabbros (ca. 190 Ma). The Early Jurassic gabbros show affinities with island arc tholeiitic (IAT) basalts, which were derived from depleted mantle sources modified by oceanic slab-derived fluids and formed in a forearc settings. The Mid-Late Jurassic ophiolite mainly consists of peridotites, cumulate gabbros, isotropic gabbros, plagiogranites and greenschists. Whole-rock geochemical and zircon Hf isotopic data suggest that the Mid-Late Jurassic ophiolite formed in an intra-oceanicisland arc setting. Together, the Asa ophiolitic complex document magmatic processes from forearc extension to the development of intra-oceanicisland arc, confirming the occurrence of intra-oceanicsubduction system within the Meso-Tethys during the Jurassic. We tend to regard that both northward intra-oceanicsubduction and ocean–continent subduction were initiated during the Early Jurassic in the Meso-Tethys. During Mid-late Jurassic, a northward intra-oceanicarc–back-arc basin system developed in the Meso-Tethys, along with a continental forearc spreading basin resulting from northward ocean-continental subduction beneath the South Qiangtang terrane, producing the complex Jurassic ocean structure of the Meso-Tethys. The behavior of p-type conductivity in Mn-doped TiO2 films grown on LaAlO3 substrates by plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy has been investigated. Raman scattering, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and x-ray diffraction studies indicate that the films are single phase, and Mn is successfully doped into the TiO2 matrix. Semiconducting behavior with p-type carriers was confirmed by Hall-effect measurements. The structural and electrical investigations demonstrate that the ferromagnetism observed at room temperature is an intrinsic property of the Mn:TiO2 films, and does not originate from any secondary phase. The magnetic properties of Ti1-xMnxO2 might be related to the formation of acceptor bound magnetic polarons, in which the spins of the holes and manganese are aligned via exchange interaction. Magnetic core-shell cylinders comprising a hard dot and a soft ring are proposed. Due to energy redistribution, a compelled vortex is formed on the central dot. Current-driven vortex dynamics is clarified. Because of the confinement effect, the vortex-core gyrotropic motion, and further the vortex-antivortex pair mediated reversal are suppressed. Instead, the vortex-core reversal is achieved through a traveling Bloch-point mediated process. Depending on the current density, the Bloch-point-mediated reversal process adopts different modes (A-, B-, and C-modes). The switching time is a nonmonotonic function of the current density. For the 80-nm-wide cylinder, the A-mode gives a ¿clean¿ vortex-core reversal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
