Bu çalışmanın amacı, Kapadokya Bölgesi'ni ziyaret eden, akıllı ürün ve uygulamaları kullanan yerli ve yabancı ziyaretçilerin, akıllı ürün ve uygulamalar kapsamında planlanmış davranış teorisi açısından destinasyon seçim niyetlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçla araştırmada tesadüfi olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden biri olan yargısal örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Mevcut çalışmadan analiz edilen veriler anket formu yardımıyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada 290 anket formu analize dahil edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde, tanımlayıcı istatistikler, normallik testi, homojenlik testi, açıklayıcı faktör analizi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin güvenirlik ve geçerlilik durumları incelendikten sonra araştırmanın kavramsal modelinde bulunan değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiler test edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre; turist tutumu, öznel norm ve algılanan davranışsal kontrolün, destinasyon seçim niyeti üzerinde anlamlı ve olumlu etkisi olduğu belirlenmiştir. Demografik veriler açısından yapılan farklılık testinde ise; medeni durum, eğitim durumu, gelir durumu, cinsiyet yaş ve seyahat tercihinde bilgi kaynağı ile akıllı destinasyon seçim niyeti arasında farklılık bulunmazken, milliyet ile akıllı destinasyon seçim niyeti arasında farklılıkların olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öte yandan destinasyon seçim niyetini etkileyen üç boyut açısından bakıldığında; öznel normun cinsiyete göre farklılık gösterdiği, turist tutumu ve algılanan davranışsal kontrolün gelir durumuna göre ve seyahat tercihinde bilgi kaynağına göre farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The aim of this study is to determine the destination selection intentions of domestic and foreign visitors visiting the Cappadocia Region and using smart products and applications in terms of the theory planned behavior within the scope of smart products and applications. For this purpose, judgmental sampling method, which is one of the non-random sampling methods, was preferred in the study. The data analyzed from the present study were collected with the help of a questionnaire. In the study, 290 questionnaire forms were included in the analysis. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, normality test, homogeneity test, explanatory factor analysis were used. After examining the reliability and validity of the data, the relationships among the variables in the conceptual model of the research were tested. According to the findings obtained as a result of the analysis; it has been determined that tourist attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control have a significant and positive effect on destination selection intention. In the difference test made in terms of demographic data; while there was no difference between the smart destination selection intention and marital status, education status, age, income status and travel prefence in terms of information source. it was concluded that there were differences between the smart destination selection intention and nationality. On the other hand, when we look at the three dimensions that affect the destination selection intention; it has been concluded that the subjective norm differs according to gender, tourist attitude and perceived behavioral control differ according to income status and according to the source of information in travel preference.

Küreselleşme ile meydana gelen değişim ve gelişmeler, teknolojinin aktif ve yaygın halde kullanılması, tüm sektörlerde değişimi ve yenilenmeyi beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu gelişmelerden etkilenen turizm sektörü, zaman içerisinde farklılık göstermeye başlayan turistik talep ve ihtiyaçları karşılayabilmek adına akıllı teknolojileri kullanmaya başlamıştır. Turizm sektöründe akıllı teknolojilerin sıkça kullanıldığı alanlardan biri de, akıllı şehir kavramından türemiş olan akıllı destinasyonlardır. Kaliteli turist deneyimini sağlamak, sürdürülebilir, yenilikçi, son teknoloji alt yapısına sahip destinasyonlar oluşturmak ve rekabet düzeyini arttırmak amacıyla destinasyon yönetim örgütlerinin, destinasyonları akıllı hale getirmek için zaman ve kaynak ayırdığı görülmektedir. Bu bağlamda akıllı şehir ve akıllı destinasyon kavramlarının anlaşılması ve akıllı destinasyon uygulama örneklerini ortaya koymak önem arz etmektedir. Bu amaçla çalışmada, akıllı şehir ve akıllı destinasyon kavramları ikincil veriler kullanılarak değerlendirilmiş, akıllı destinasyon uygulamalarına yer verilmiştir. The changes and developments that have occurred with globalization, the active and widespread use of technology have brought about change and renewal in all sectors. The tourism sector, which is affected by these developments, has started to use smart technologies in order to meet the touristic demands and needs that have started to differ over time. One of the areas where smart technologies are frequently used in the tourism sector is smart destinations, which are derived from the concept of smart city. It is seen that destination management organizations allocate time and resources to make destinations smart in order to provide quality tourist experience, create sustainable, innovative, state-of-the-art destinations and increase the level of competition. In this context, it is important to understand the concepts of smart city and smart destination and to reveal smart destination application examples. For this purpose, smart city and smart destination concepts were evaluated using secondary data and smart destination applications were included in the study.
