Infantile epileptic spasm syndrome (IESS) is a new concept proposed recently. IESS is a unique and age-specific refractory epilepsy syndrome. The recent advances in molecular biology, neuroimmunology and the in-depth study of anti-epileptic mechanism in antiepileptic drugs have led to the achievements in the definition and treatment of infantile epileptic spasm. At present, the use of traditional antiepileptic drugs is decreasing, while the use of new antiepileptic drugs is increasing. In this paper, based on the relevant literature in recent years, the authors discuss the pathogenesis, epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, treatment, therapeutic drugs, clinical progress, efficacy, and safety of infantile epileptic spasm, hoping to introduce the latest status in research and achievements of IESS.

With the advancement of source-load interaction in the new power systems, data-driven approaches have provided a foundational support for aggregating and interacting between sources and loads. However, with the widespread integration of distributed energy resources, fine-grained perception of intelligent sensing devices, and the inherent stochasticity of source-load dynamics, a massive amount of raw data is being recorded and accumulated in the data center. Valuable information is often dispersed across different paragraphs of the raw data, making it challenging to extract effectively. Distribution substation inspection plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of the power system. Traditional methods for inspection report text classification typically rely on manual judgment and accumulated experience, resulting in low efficiency and a significant misjudgment rate. Therefore, this paper proposes a text classification method for inspection reports based on the pre-trained BERT-TextRCNN model. By utilizing the dense connection between the BERT embedding layer and the neural network, the proposed method improves the accuracy of matching long texts. This article collected 2,831 maintenance data for the first quarter of 2023 from the distribution room, including approximately 58 environmental testing data, 738 environmental box testing data, approximately 672 distribution room testing data, and approximately 1,363 box type substation testing data. A text corpus was constructed for experiments. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed model automatically classifies a large volume of manually recorded inspection report data based on time, location, and faults, achieving a classification accuracy of 94.7%, precision of 92%, recall of 92%, and F1 score of 90.3%.

The thermal expansion curves of 20CrMnTiH test steel with three compositions at different cooling rates were measured by DIL805 type quench deformation expansion instrument , and the microstructures at room temperature were observed, the continuous cooling transition (CCT) curves were drawn. The test results show that the composition fluctuation mainly affects the cooling range of bainite and martensite phase transformation during the cooling transformation of 20CrMnTiH, and has little effect on the critical phase transformation temperature. The kinetic parameters of martensitic transformation of the three test steels were fitted by using K-M equation. Combined with the optimized Li empirical model and the regression equation of critical transition temperature, a prediction model of phase transformation prediction model of ferrite, pearlite and bainite during continuous cooling of 20CrMnTiH was established ,the influence of composition fluctuation on CCT curve of the test steels were predicted successfully. Furthermore, the end-quenching simulation model of 20CrMnTiH steel was established by finite element analysis method, which can better predict the influence of composition fluctuation on the hardenability of the test steel. This method can provide reference for the composition optimization design and material selection of gear steel.

Power system planning, load forecasting, and energy utilization analysis are significantly impacted by power load anomalies, necessitating prompt detection and identification. Firstly, the abnormal classification, causes, and characteristics of power load data are analyzed. Secondly, it enhances the traditional Transformer encoder structure by replacing the mask multi-header attention layer with the multi-header attention layer and eliminating the feedforward network. These improvements aim to enhance the model's global attention to the load sequence. To capture trend characteristics more effectively and expedite convergence, an improved generative adversarial networks (GAN)-Transformer model is proposed based on the generator and discriminator game structure of traditional GAN. Additionally, a multi-stage mapping and training approach along with an integrated focus score scoring mechanism are introduced. These techniques facilitate phased load sequence reconstruction, enabling the model to better extract anomalous features of the load data. Finally, through an analysis of an arithmetic example, the results demonstrate that the GAN-Transformer model outperforms in terms of load data anomaly detection accuracy, recall, F1 value, and training time. These results validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. The findings of this research provide valuable insights for advancements in power load data anomaly classification and data repair based on deep learning.

In view of the high viscosity, poor fluidity and high transportation cost of heavy oil, water-annular transportation is an effective solution to realize the flow drag reduction during heavy oil transportation, but the large density difference between oil and water leads to the instability of water annular. For this reason, a superhydrophilic surface is introduced to improve the stability of the water annular in the pipeline and reduce the transportation resistance of heavy oil. Besides, the enhancement of heavy oil transportation by superhydrophilic surface was verified through numerical simulation and experiments in combination. Meanwhile, the effect of various factors on oil-water flow, oil-water distribution and pressure drop in pipelines during water-annular transportation were analyzed. The research results show that the superhydrophilic surface could improve the stability of water annular in the water-annular transportation system of heavy oil, with the obvious effect of flow drag reduction. Compared with the water-annular white oil transportation by ordinary pipeline, the flow drag reduction of over 17.49% can be realized, the maximum flow drag reduction is up to 50.15%, and the enhancement is within 9.06%-39.09% after the superhydrophilic surface is introduced. Compared with the white oil transportation without water annular, the flow drag reduction can reach 72.02%-78.21%. Generally, the superhydrophilic surface could significantly enhance water-annular heavy oil transportation with promising application prospects, capable of effectively improving the applicability of water-annular heavy oil transportation technology.

The precise detection of military targets under complex conditions is a key factor to enhance the ability of war situation generation and prediction. The current technology can not overcome the problems of smoke and occlusion interference, target height change, and different scales in aerial video. In this paper, a multi feature cross fusion and cross layer cascade aerial military target detection algorithm (YOLOv5-MFLC) is proposed. Firstly, aiming at the high confidentiality of the military targets and the shortage of battlefield aerial image resources, a real scene based aerial military target dataset is constructed, and the methods of random splicing and random extraction embedding are used for data enhancement in order to improve the diversity and generalization of targets. Secondly, aiming at the problem of complex background interference, a multi feature cross fusion attention mechanism is constructed to enhance the available information of target features. Finally, for the multi-scale problem of targets in aerial images, a cross layer cascaded multi-scale feature fusion pyramid is designed to improve the detection accuracy of cross scale targets. The experimental results show that, comparing with the existing advanced detection models, the detection accuracy of the algorithm in this paper has been greatly improved. The average accuracy of the algorithm can reach 81.0%, which is 5.2% higher than the original network. In particular, it has reached 55.9% in the smaller target category "person", which is 9.4% higher. And the experimental results further show the usefulness of the improved algorithm for small target detection. At the same time, the detection rate of this algorithm can reach 56 frame/s, which can effectively achieve accurate and fast detection of battlefield targets, and has certain experience value for guiding complex modern wars.

Objective To explore the changes in the expression of long non-coding RNA (LncRNA) LINC00294 in breast cancer tissues and cells, and investigate its effects and the possible mechanisms on the biological properties of breast cancer cells. Methods The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were analyzed using transcriptome sequencing data from 41 breast cancer tissues and 11 para-cancerous tissues from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database (GSE45827). Then qRT-PCR assay was used to measure the expression of LINC00294 in 20 pairs of breast cancer and para-cancerous tissues from the breast cancer patients diagnosed in our department, as well as in the normal human breast epithelial MCF-10A cells and the human breast cancer cell lines MCF-7, K-BR-3 and MDA-MB-231. After MCF-7 cells were transfected with lentiviral vector of si-LINC to interfere LINC00294 expression, CCK-8 assay was used to detect cell proliferation, flow cytometry and Western blotting were employed to measure cell apoptosis and expression of related proteins, cell scratch assay and Transwell assay were applied to observe cell migration and invasion. Then, the effect of interference with LINC00294 on tumor growth in nude mice model of in situ subcutaneous tumorigenesis was observed. The expression of AKT/mTOR pathway-related proteins p-mTOR, mTOR, p-AKT, AKT, and its downstream target molecule HIF-1α was detected by Western blotting. Results LncRNA LINC00294 was screened out as a DEG in breast cancer tissues from the GEO database. It was also highly expressed in breast cancer tissues and MCF-7, SK-BR-3 and MDA-MB-231 cells (P < 0.05). Interference of LINC00294 resulted in reduced proliferation, enhanced expression of apoptosis-related proteins, and decreased invasion and migration abilities in MCF-7 cells (P < 0.05). The expression of LINC00294 was inhibited by HIF-1α interference (P < 0.05), and LINC00294 interference decreased the expression of p-AKT, p-mTOR, mTOR and its downstream target molecule HIF-1α in the AKT/mTOR signaling pathway (P < 0.05). Conclusion High expression of LINC00294 in breast cancer may affect the proliferation, invasion, and migration of breast cancer through the AKT/mTOR/HIF-1α signaling pathway, and LINC00294 may be closely associated with the pathogenesis of breast cancer.

Forest competition is a key factor driving forest dynamics and stand structure, and is one of the core issues in ecological research. Competition is a complex ecological process with temporal changes, which is interrelated and affected with forest growth, stand structure dynamics and environmental changes. Although there have been many researches on competition, tree growth, stand structure and climate, the interactions among trees have been studied by static competition index measurement, which usually lacks temporal variation related to natural forest development and environmental conditions, and the response mechanism and related theory of competition to stand development and environmental fluctuation have been studied insufficiently.(2) Single tree competition index model;(3) Interaction between tree competition and tree growth, stand structure and environment;(4) Tree competition based on complex network. Finally, according to the complex interaction of tree competition, the research strategy of tree competition network structure with “single tree” as node and “single tree competition relationship” as edge is discussed, in order to provide reference for the study of tree interaction and forest ecosystem dynamics.

The establishment of nature reserves is an important measure to protect rare wild animals and plants and their habitats. This plays a positive role in alleviating the ill effects of change in land use and protecting ecological diversity. Since the establishment of the first nature reserve in China, there has been notable development in the construction and infrastructure industry. Owing to this development, understanding whether nature reserves can effectively achieve the purpose of protection has gradually become a hot topic. An in-depth understanding of the evolution of land use types in nature reserves and their adjacent areas can evaluate the effectiveness of the construction of nature reserves, provide decision support for land resource planning, and help maintaining the balance of the ecosystem and sustainable development. Understanding the spatio-temporal evolution pattern of land use is important to create and preserve ecological security in protected areas. In this research, we studied the land use dynamics in Guangxi Golden Camellia national nature reserve and its adjacent two-kilometer buffer zone. Land use information was extracted from seven Landsat TM/OLI images from 1986, 1994, 1999, 2004, 2009, 2014, and 2019. The spatio-temporal dynamics of land use over the past 35 years were studied using decision tree analysis and a transition matrix. The results showed that the land use in the reserve is mainly dominated by forestland, and the adjacent areas of the reserve is mainly dominated by forestland and arable land. Although the proportion of construction land is small, it has increased annually over the past 35 years. It was observed from the studies that the dynamic degree of construction land was always relatively high in the non-core region of the reserve and the adjacent areas, whereas the dynamic degrees of other land types fluctuated more gently, and the integrated land use dynamic degree of the adjacent areas was less. The core area changed more drastically, the change in the trend of the comprehensive land use dynamic degree in the adjacent areas and the non-core area was similar. After the establishment of the reserve, human disturbance was reduced in this region, and the land-use pattern became more stable. Furthermore, the conversion of land use types in the adjacent areas was frequent, of which the transfer and exchange between cultivated land and forest land was the most drastic, the conversion of land use in the non-core region was less. This shows that the establishment and management of the reserve effectively protects the local ecological environment. Additionally, the studies showed that the migration of the land use center of gravity had a certain direction. The center of gravity of all land use types in the non-core area of the reserve generally migrated to the northeast, and the center of gravity of construction land and cultivated land in the adjacent area of the reserve generally migrated to the west, indicating that the expansion of the original construction land had a strong influence on land use dynamics. The management of the reserve has achieved relatively remarkable effects and the ecological environment inside the reserve has been improved, but the slow increase of land for internal construction and resources exploitation still have a negative impact on the habitat quality of the reserve. This study provides data to support the dynamic monitoring of land use and further improvement of protection and restoration measures in subtropical natural reserves.

Ordered core(PEO)-shell(PHB) microfibers were prepared by coaxial electrostatic spinning technology and high-speed rotating receiving roller with polyoxyethylene (PEO)/chloroform solvent as core spinning solution and poly(β-hydroxybutyrate) (PHB)/chloroform solvent as shell spinning solution. The surface morphology, core-shell structure, thermal properties, crystallization properties and mechanical properties of core(PEO)-shell(PHB) microfiber film were characterized and analyzed by SEM, TEM, DSC, TGA, XRD and DMA. The results show that PEO/PHB microfiber has remarkable core-shell structure; fiber arranges in the same direction and the average diameter are 0.57-1.27 μm; the crystal structure of core(PEO)-shell(PHB) microfiber includes α-type crystal of PHB and monoclinic crystal of PEO; when the spinning voltage is increased, the diameter of the fiber decreases, and the crystallinity increases first and then decreases; the fiber diameter increases with the increase of injection speed, and the crystallinity first increases and then decreases; with the increase of the collection distance, the fiber diameter first decreases and then increases, and the crystallinity first increases and then decreases. By changing the single spinning condition, the corresponding fiber films with the spinning voltage of 18 kV, the push velocity of 0.07 mm/min and the collection distance of 8 cm all have high mechanical properties. Compared with pure PHB fiber and PEO fiber, the thermal stability of each component in ordered core(PEO)-shell(PHB) microfiber is improved.

Cystic pheochromocytoma is an uncommon neuroendocrine tumor, which mostly has no obvious clinical symptoms, and difficult to make correct diagnosis before surgical operation. When a cystic mass in the adrenal gland is found by imaging examination, the possibility of cystic pheochromocytoma should be screened. At present, the most curative treatment is surgical resection. Laparoscopic adrenalectomy is the first choice. Adequate preoperative preparation and strict postoperative monitoring are important pre-requisites for ensuring the safety of patients during the peri-operative period.

Objective To explore the expression of CD4+ effector memory T cells (CD4+ TEM) in peripheral blood of acute ischemic stroke patients with pulmonary infection, and to analyze the value of CD4+ TEM combined with interleukin⁃6 (IL⁃6) and hypersensitive C⁃reactive protein (hs⁃CRP) in the diagnosis of pulmonary infection in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods Totally 54 confirmed acute ischemic stroke patients with pulmonary infection who were treated in the Department of Neurology at The Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University from June 2018 to December 2019 were chosen as the infection group, meanwhile, 55 acute ischemic stroke patients without pulmonary infection were assigned as the control group. The clinical characters and the expression levels of CD4+ TEM cells were compared in the 2 groups. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to screen the risk factors of pulmonary infection in patients with acute ischemic stroke, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was further conducted to evaluate the diagnostic value of the percentage of CD4+ TEM, IL⁃6, hs⁃CRP and combined detection in pulmonary infection patients with acute ischemic stroke. Results Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the increased percentage of CD4+ TEM cells (OR=1.153, 95%CI:1.069-1.244; P=0.000), IL⁃6 (OR=1.351, 95%CI:1.046-1.747; P=0.021) and hs⁃CRP (OR=1.087, 95%CI:1.008-1.172; P=0.021) were important risk factors for pulmonary infection with acute ischemic stroke. When the percentage of CD4+ TEM cells, IL⁃6 and hs⁃CRP were used as predictors of pulmonary infection with acute ischemic stroke alone, the area under the ROC curve were 0.906 (95%CI:0.850⁃0.961), 0.799 (95%CI:0.714-0.885) and 0.831 (95%CI:0.754-0.908) respectively. When the percentage of CD4+ TEM cells were combined with IL⁃6 and hs⁃CRP, the area under the curve increased to 0.943 (95%CI:0.904-0.982). Conclusions The percentage of CD4+ TEM cells combined with IL⁃6 and hs⁃CRP has better diagnostic value for pulmonary infection with acute ischemic stroke, and can be used as biomarkers for early prediction of pulmonary infection with acute ischemic stroke. doi:10.3969/j.issn.1672⁃6731.2021.04.013

Cyclophilin A (CypA) is the first foldable enzyme in human cells that has peptidyl proliferase-trans isomerase activity and has a strong proinflammatory effect. CD147 can act as the signal receptor of CypA. The interaction of the two through cell-surface heparin binding activates extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERK1/2) and nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) signaling pathways in macrophages and increases the expression of MMPs and other inflammatory factors. The CypA/CD147 interaction regulates inflammation, promotes the inflammatory response and bone resorption and is involved in the pathological processes of a variety of systemic diseases. CypA and CD147 may take part in the chemotaxis of inflammatory cells, increase white blood cell infiltration in tissues, and increase CypA and CD147 expression in periodontitis gum tissue and gingival groove liquid with inflammation, prompting their interaction to promote the progression of periodontitis. However, the specific function of the signaling pathways in the periodontitis mechanism still requires further elucidation.

Using HZSM-5 zeolite, potassium permanganate and methanol as raw materials, MnOx/HZSM-5 catalyst was prepared to oxidize formaldehyde at room temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy (Raman), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and other characterization methods were used to analyze the morphology, structure and chemical composition of the catalyst. The catalytic activity and regeneration performance of MnOx/HZSM-5 on formaldehyde were studied, and the mechanism of formaldehyde catalytic oxidation was discussed. The results show that the formaldehyde removal rate of MnOx/HZSM-5 remains at 90% after 1020 minutes of dynamic testing. After five regeneration tests, the removal rate of formaldehyde by MnOx/HZSM-5 remains at 91%. In the static test, the formaldehyde removal rate reaches 97% and the conversion rate of formaldehyde reaches 92%. After analyzing the mechanism of oxidizing formaldehyde with MnOx/HZSM-5, it is found that formaldehyde is first adsorbed by the catalyst to the active site of MnOx. Then it is preliminarily oxidized to intermediate products such as formates or carbonates. Finally, it is deeply oxidized with carbon dioxide and water.

Conversational recommender systems (CRS) enable users to articulate their preferences and provide feedback through natural language. With the advent of large language models (LLMs), the potential to enhance user engagement with CRS and augment the recommendation process with LLM-generated content has received increasing attention. However, the efficacy of LLM-powered CRS is contingent upon the use of prompts, and the subjective perception of recommendation quality can differ across various recommendation domains. Therefore, we have developed a ChatGPT-based CRS to investigate the impact of these two factors, prompt guidance (PG) and recommendation domain (RD), on the overall user experience of the system. We conducted an online empirical study (N = 100) by employing a mixed-method approach that utilized a between-subjects design for the variable of PG (with vs. without) and a within-subjects design for RD (book recommendations vs. job recommendations). The findings reveal that PG can substantially enhance the system's explainability, adaptability, perceived ease of use, and transparency. Moreover, users are inclined to perceive a greater sense of novelty and demonstrate a higher propensity to engage with and try recommended items in the context of book recommendations as opposed to job recommendations. Furthermore, the influence of PG on certain user experience metrics and interactive behaviors appears to be modulated by the recommendation domain, as evidenced by the interaction effects between the two examined factors. This work contributes to the user-centered evaluation of ChatGPT-based CRS by investigating two prominent factors and offers practical design guidance.

The design of MMC-STATCOM controller based on auto disturbance rejection technology is studied. Based on the ADRC, the active disturbance rejection controller is designed for the active and reactive current decoupling tracking. By scheduling the transition process, setting the expansion observer and the nonlinear state error feedback link, etc. The simulation model is built in MATLAB/Simulink to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. The results show that the MMC-STATCOM controller based on ADRC technology effectively overcomes the contradiction between PI control response speed and overshoot, achieves effective dynamic compensation of disturbance, solves the problem that the current tracking effect of the inner loop current tracker based on PI regulation is poor when the input of MMC-STATCOM is disturbed, and leads to a long transition process or even instability of the system.

Objective To study the detection rate of Streptococcus mutans in oral cavities of 3⁃5⁃year⁃old Han, Uygur and Mongolian children in Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, and the correlation between genotype and dental caries of preschool children. Methods Ninety children were randomly selected from the sample bank of chil⁃ dren′s oral epidemiological survey data in the Bozhou area of Xinjiang. Forty⁃five children were included in the high caries group (more than 5 missing teeth), and 45 children were included in the noncaries group (0 missing teeth); each group comprised 15 children of each of the Han, Uygur and Mongolian nationalities. Plaque samples were collected and cultured with light saliva⁃bacillin agar medium and brain⁃heart infusion medium. Streptococcus mutans were cultured, and clinical isolates were further isolated and identified by Gram staining, biochemical identification and polymerase chain reaction. Genotype distribution was detected by random primer polymerase chain reaction. Results The detec⁃ tion rate of Streptococcus mutans in the 90 included children was 75.5%. The detection rate of Streptococcus mutans in the high caries group was 86.7%, which was significantly higher than that in the caries⁃free group (64.4%) (P=0.014). There was no significant difference in the distribution of Streptococcus mutans among Han, Uygur and Mongolian nation⁃ alities (P=0.457). A total of 549 clinical strains of Streptococcus mutans were obtained, and 113 different genotypes were found. In the high caries group, 61.5% carried more than one genotype of Streptococcus mutans, and 37.9% of the caries ⁃ free group had more than one genotype. The genetic polymorphism of Streptococcus mutans in the high caries group was significantly higher than that in the caries⁃free group (P=0.035). Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between oral Streptococcus mutans gene polymorphism and caries sensitivity (r=0.258, P=0.034). Conclusion The distribution of Streptococcus mutans in children′s oral cavity in the Bozhou area was dif⁃ ferent between the high caries group and the caries⁃free group, but there was no difference among nationalities. Strepto⁃ coccus mutans in the high caries group had more genotypes than those in the caries⁃free group. The genetic polymor⁃ phism of Streptococcus mutans might be related to the caries⁃causing ability of Streptococcus mutans.

Abstract Background The costs for treating coronary artery disease (CAD) are high worldwide. We performed a prespecified analyses of cost-effectiveness of three therapeutic strategies for multivessel CAD. Methods From May 1995 to May 2000, a total of 611 patients were randomly assigned to coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), n = 203; percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), n = 205; or medical treatment (MT), n = 203. This cost analysis study was based on the perspective of the Public Health Care System. Initial procedural and follow-up costs for medications, cardiology examinations, and hospitalizations for complications were calculated after randomization. Life-years and quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) were used as effectiveness measures. Incremental cost-effectiveness ratios (ICER) were obtained by using nonparametric bootstrapping methods with 5000 resamples. Results Initial procedural costs were lower for MT. However, the subsequent 5-year cumulative costs were lower for CABG. Compared with baseline, the three treatment options produced significant improvements in QALYs. After 5 years, PCI and CABG had better QALYs results compared with MT. The ICER results favored CABG and PCI, and favored PCI over CABG in 61% of the drawings. On the other hand, sensitivity analysis showed MT as the preferred therapy compared with CABG and PCI, in the analysis considering higher costs. Conclusions At 5-year follow-up, the three treatment options yielded improvements in quality of life, with comparable and acceptable costs. However, despite higher initial costs, the comparison of cost-effectiveness after 5 years of follow-up among the three treatments showed both interventions (CABG and PCI) to be cost-effective strategies compared with MT. We study jet angularities for dijet production at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) in proton-proton (pp) and nucleus-nucleus (AA) collisions at 200 GeV nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass collision energy. In particular, we provide $\mathrm{NLL}$ resummed predictions for angularity observables of groomed and ungroomed jets produced in $\rm pp$ collisions matched to next-to-leading order QCD calculations resulting in $\mathrm{NLO+NLL^\prime}$ accuracy. Our parton-level predictions are corrected for non-perturbative effects, such as hadronization and underlying event, using parton-to-hadron level transfer matrices obtained with the Sherpa event generator. Furthermore, we use the Q-Pythia and JEWEL generators to estimate the impact of the interaction between quarks and gluons produced by the parton shower with the dense medium formed in heavy-ion collisions on the considered jet angularities.

Mathematics - Probability - Abstract
Let $(W_{t}(\lambda))_{t\ge 0}$, parametrized by $\lambda\in\mathbb{R}$, be the additive martingale related to a supercritical super-Brownian motion on the real line and let $W_{\infty}(\lambda)$ be its limit. Under a natural condition for the martingale limit to be non-degenerate, we investigate the rate at which the martingale approaches its limit. Indeed, assuming certain moment conditions on the branching mechanism, we show that the tail martingale $W_{\infty}(\lambda)-W_{t}(\lambda)$, properly normalized, converges in distribution to a non-degenerate random variable, and we identify the limit laws. We find that, for parameters with small absolute value, the fluctuations are affected by the behaviour of the branching mechanism $\psi$ around $0$. In fact, we prove that, in the case of small $|\lambda|$, when $\psi$ is secondly differentiable at $0$, the limit laws are scale mixtures of the standard normal laws, and when $\psi$ is `stable-like' near $0$ in some proper sense, the limit laws are scale mixtures of the stable laws. However, the effect of the branching mechanism is limited in the case of large $|\lambda|$. In the latter case, we show that the fluctuations and limit laws are determined by the limiting extremal process of the super-Brownian motion.

With social media booming, newspapers are facing an enormous challenge, and some have even had to exit the market. Likewise, their role as a main force of public opinion guidance in China has also been challenged. They have lost their vantage ground. The present study conducted a case study on one well-known Chinese online public opinion event. Through analyzing the newspapers' role played in different public opinion development stages, this study displayed how Chinese newspapers worked together and successfully guided online public opinion in that case. The newspapers' advantages in guiding public opinion and suggestions as to how newspapers can survive and guide public opinion in the new media era are put forward in the final section.

This paper extends the $*$-product from slice analysis to weakly slice analysis in several quaternionic variables, focusing on non-axially symmetric domains. It diverges from traditional applications in axially symmetric domains to address slice regularity in more complicated cases. The approach involves redefining the $*$-product for path-slice functions, borrowing techniques from strongly slice analysis. Key to this work is the introduction of relative stem-preserving set pairs and real-path-connected sets, which help establish a direct link between path-slice functions and their stem functions. The study culminates in conditions under which weakly slice regular functions form an algebra in specific slice domains, broadening the scope of slice analysis., Comment: 15 pages

In this research, we study zeroes of weakly slice regular functions within the framework of several quaternionic variables, specifically focusing on non-axially symmetric domains. Our recent work introduces path-slice stem functions, along with a novel $*$-product, tailored for weakly slice regular functions. This innovation allows us to explore new techniques for conjugating and symmetrizing path-slice functions. A key finding of our study is the discovery that the zeroes of a path-slice function are comprehensively encapsulated within the zeroes of its symmetrized counterpart. This insight is particularly significant in the context of path-slice stem functions. We establish that for weakly slice regular functions, the processes of conjugation and symmetrization gain prominence once the function's slice regularity is affirmed. Furthermore, our investigation sheds light on the intricate nature of the zeroes of a slice regular function. We ascertain that these zeroes constitute a path-slice analytic set. This conclusion is drawn from the observed phenomenon that the zeroes of the symmetrization of a slice regular function also form a path-slice analytic set. This finding marks an advancement in understanding the complex structure and properties of weakly slice regular functions in quaternionic analysis., Comment: 18 pages

The primary objective of this paper is to establish an algebraic framework for the space of weakly slice regular functions over several quaternionic variables. We recently introduced a $*$-product that maintains the path-slice property within the class of path-slice functions. It is noteworthy that this $*$-product is directly applicable to weakly slice regular functions, as every slice regular function defined on a slice-open set inherently possesses path-slice properties. Building on this foundation, we propose a precise definition of an open neighborhood for a path $\gamma$ in the path space $\mathscr{P}(\mathbb{C}^n)$. This definition is pivotal in establishing the holomorphism of stem functions. Consequently, we demonstrate that the $*$-product of two weakly slice regular functions retains its weakly slice regular nature. This retention is facilitated by holomorphy of stem functions and their relationship with weakly slice regular functions, providing a comprehensive algebraic structure for this class of functions., Comment: 12 pages
