Planting patterns have significant effects on rice growth. Nonetheless, little is known about differences in annual crop yield and resource utilization among mechanized rice planting patterns in a rice–wheat cropping system. Field experiments were conducted from 2014 to 2017 using three treatments: pot seedling transplanting for rice and row sowing for wheat (PST-RS), carpet seedling transplanting for rice and row sowing for wheat (CST-RS) and row sowing for both crops (RS-RS). The results showed that, compared with RS-RS, PST-RS and CST-RS prolonged annual crop growth duration by 25–26 and 13–15 days, increased effective accumulated temperature by 399 and 212°C days and increased cumulative solar radiation by 454 and 228 MJ/m2 because of the earlier sowing of rice by 28 and 16 days in PST-RS and CST-RS, respectively. Compared with RS-RS, the annual crop yield of PST-RS and CST-RS increased by 3.1–3.8 and 2.0–2.6 t/ha, respectively, because of the increase in the number of spikelets/kernels per hectare, aboveground biomass, mean leaf area index and grain–leaf ratio. In addition, temperature production efficiency, solar radiation production efficiency and solar radiation use efficiency were higher in PST-RS, followed by CST-RS and RS-RS. These results suggest that mechanized rice planting patterns such as PST-RS increase annual crop production in rice–wheat cropping systems by increasing yield and solar energy utilization.

During intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD), due to endplate calcification, diminished oxygen and nutrient concentrations and accumulated lactate are present in the microenvironment of the nucleus pulposus (NP). The disadvantages of 3D layered culture include uneven oxygen and nutrient gradients. In the present study, to mimic the in vivo microenvironment of the NP, a 5-layered 3D culture was constructed using clinical haemostatic gelatine sponges and developed as a NP degeneration (NPD) model. Subsequently, cell distribution as well as expression of NP chondrogenic markers (type II collagen and aggrecan), glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and degeneration markers [e.g. matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) 3] were measured from the top to the bottom layer. However, in a single NP-cell-loaded disc model, the chondrogenic potency in the middle or bottom layer was higher than that in the top layer. To further study the mechanism underlying the degeneration of NP cells in this NPD model, the contribution of secreted metabolites was examined. Lactate identified in the supernatant modulated GAG accumulation and MMP3 expression. Inhibition of lactate influx by the monocarboxylate transporter (MCT)-1 inhibitor, AZD3965, reversed the effect of lactate on GAG accumulation and MMP3 expression and further improved NP cell degeneration in the NPD model. Thanks to the homogenous expression of lactate in the model, it was possible to further identified that the combination of lactate and hypoxia enhanced MMP3 expression. Taken together, multilayered cell-loaded sponges, with oxygen and nutrient gradients as well as lactate accumulation, can represent a 3D multilayered NPD model for exploring potential agents for IVDD.

The evolution of subgrains, dislocations and mechanical properties in a 2524Al alloy during high-strain rolling is investigated in this work. The results show that there are numerous coarse second phases of Al2Cu and Al2CuMg along the dendritic grain boundaries in the cast 2524Al alloy. The second phases are mostly dissolved into the matrix after homogenization. After hot rolling, solution treatment and aging, and cold rolling, the grains are elongated in the rolling direction, a large number of fine and disperse precipitates are present in the grains and along the grain boundaries, and the deformation process generates a mass of subgrains and a high density of dislocations. After cold rolling, the mechanical properties of the 2524 alloy sheet are improved, i.e., ultimate tensile strength of 684 MPa, yield strength of 581 MPa and elongation of 3%. The high strength may be due to the high dislocation density, the mass of fine and dispersed distribution precipitates and the many subgrains.

A power ultrasound with different amplitudes was applied during the solidification of ternary Cu-14wt pct Al-4.5 wt pct Ni alloy, which was then quenched to obtain martensite phases. It effectively promoted the nucleation of primary austenite β (AlCu3) phase, thereby reducing its grain size by almost one order of magnitude. This refined austenite structure induced by ultrasound also had influence on the martensite transformation during subsequent quenching. In the coarse β grain formed without ultrasound, only very little amount of β 1 ′ martensite phase with 18R structure existed and part of it consisted in the coarse γ 1 ′ martensite phase with 2H structure. As ultrasound amplitude rose up, the martensite phases were both refined and the relative content of β 1 ′ phase increased. This microstructure modification led to the enhancement of mechanical properties of Cu-14 pct Al-4.5 pct Ni alloy as well. The yield strength of the quenched alloy solidified at the maximal ultrasonic amplitude was 1.5 times higher than that without ultrasound. The microhardness and the storage modulus were also enhanced with the increase of ultrasound amplitude.

To explore the regulatory relationship between Chloride intracellular channel 1 (CLIC1) and Angiomotin (AMOT)-p130, and reveal the role of AMOT-p130 in gastric cancer (GC). Immunohistochemistry was performed to analyze the expression of CLIC1 and AMOT-p130 in GC tissues and adjacent tissues. The expression of AMOT-p130 upon CLIC1 silencing was analyzed using RT-PCR, western blot, and immunofluorescence in GC cells. Transwell and wound-healing assays were performed to detect migration and invasion in GC cells. The changes in EMT-related proteins were detected using western blot. Our study found that high CLIC1 expression was significantly associated with low AMOT-p130 expression in GC tissues. Silencing CLIC1 expression in MGC-803 cells (MGC-803 CLIC1 KO) and AGS cells (AGS CLIC1 KO) decreased the invasive and migratory abilities of tumor cells, which were induced by the upregulation of AMOT-p130. Subsequently, we demonstrated that AMOT-p130 inhibits the invasive and migratory abilities of GC cells by inhibiting epithelial–mesenchymal transition. Our study suggests that AMOT-p130 could inhibit epithelial–mesenchymal transition in GC cells. CLIC1 may participate in the metastatic progression of GC by downregulating the expression of AMOT-p130.

The properties of core turbulence and thermal transport are investigated for EAST high-β P (β P ∼ 3.1) plasmas with dominant electron heating (T e/T i > 1) via gyrokinetic simulation with the NLT code. Linear simulations identify that the electrostatic η e -driven trapped electron mode ( η e -TEM) dominates in the core region (ρ< 0.7) and the ion temperature gradient (ITG) mode dominates in the out region (ρ⩾ 0.7), consistent with the linear threshold analysis of micro-instabilities. Sensitivity analysis shows that the normalized electron density gradient (R/L ne) and ITG (R/L Ti) are two effective parameters to stabilize TEM instability. Nonlinear simulations are also carried out and compared with the experimental results, which show that the electron thermal internal transport barrier (ITB) in EAST high-β P plasma is determined by the TEM-induced turbulence. A higher zonal flow shearing rate is observed in the ITB region (0.2 < ρ < 0.34), which can regulate energy transport induced by TEM turbulence and facilitate the formation of e-ITB. A plausible positive feedback mechanism to mitigate turbulence transport and improve energy confinement via enhanced ion heating is proposed for future experiments.

本文报道1例病理证实为侧颈淋巴结转移而甲状腺无恶性病变的隐匿性甲状腺乳头状癌病例。患者25岁女性，因发现右侧颈部肿物1年，2周前肿物细针穿刺活检见乳头状结构入院，初步诊断为颈部淋巴结转移癌，进一步影像学检查未发现甲状腺恶性征象，全身未查见原发灶，于全身麻醉下行颈部右侧淋巴结取检术，病理回报为淋巴结转移性甲状腺乳头状癌，遂行甲状腺癌根治术。术后病理报告为甲状腺双叶结节性甲状腺肿伴慢性淋巴细胞性甲状腺炎。最终诊断为隐匿性甲状腺乳头状癌，随访观察7个月无复发。.

The elastic constants, electronic structure, and magnetic properties of rubidium-based fluoro-pervskite ferromagnetic semiconductor RbMnF3 and ferromagnetic half-metal RbFeF3 under strain were studied by first-principle methods. The calculation of elastic constants and mechanical parameters shows that both RbMnF3 and RbFeF3 have very stable mechanical properties in the strain range studied. In the strain range of − 6.0 to 10.0%, the ferromagnetic semiconductor characteristics of RbMnF3 can be maintained, and the semiconductor band gap can be increased from 1.49 eV at equilibrium to a maximum value of 1.80 eV under strain. The half-metallicity of RbFeF3 can also be preserved in the strain range of − 8.0 to 10.0%, and the half-metallic gap can reach up to 1.19 eV in this strain range. When RbMnF3 and RbFeF3 are ferromagnetic semiconductor and ferromagnetic half-metal, respectively, their molecular magnetic moments are integer values, and transition metal atoms are the most important contributors to total magnetic moment. Strong correlation correction does not change the physical properties of RbMnF3 and RbFeF3 in equilibrium state.

Background: Air Pollution (AP) and metabolic syndrome (MS) are important global health hazards of the 21st century, in mainland China in particular, and AP has been associated with increased prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, and stroke. Methods: To evaluate the impact of metabolic syndrome on AP-related atherogenesis, 1557 Han Chinese adults (mean age 47.2±11.8 years, male 47%) in Hong Kong, Macau, Pun Yu, Yu County (Shanxi coalmine) and 3-Gorges (Yangtze River) were studied. Cardiovascular risk profiles and metabolic syndrome (IDF criteria) were evaluated. PM2.5 (satellite sensor modeling), and atherosclerotic surrogates, brachial reactivity (FMD) and carotid Intima-media thickness (IMT) (ultrasound), were measured. Results: The yearly PM2.5 concentration ranged from 34.0μg/m³ in Hong Kong to 93.8μg/m³ in 3-Gorges Territories. MS was diagnosed in 340 subjects (21.8%). Smoking status, gender and PM2.5 were similar in the MS cohort versus those without MS. Blood pressures (SBP and DBP), waist circumference, triglycerides and glucose were higher, but high-density lipidcholesterol was lower in the MS cohort, compared to the other subjects. The recent discovery of a nonsaturating linear magnetoresistance in several correlated electron systems near a quantum critical point has revealed an interesting interplay between the linear magnetoresistance and the zero-field linear-in-temperature resistivity. These studies suggest a possible role of quantum criticality on the observed linear magnetoresistance. Here we report our discovery of a nonsaturating, linear magnetoresistance in ${\mathrm{Mo}}_{8}{\mathrm{Ga}}_{41}$, a nearly isotropic strong electron-phonon coupling superconductor with a linear-in-temperature resistivity from the transition temperature to $\ensuremath{\sim}55$ K. The growth of the resistivity in field is comparable to that in temperature, provided that both quantities are measured in the energy unit. Our data sets are remarkably similar to magnetoresistance data of the optimally doped ${\mathrm{La}}_{2\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{\mathrm{CuO}}_{4}$, despite the clearly different crystal and electronic structures, and the apparent absence of quantum critical physics in ${\mathrm{Mo}}_{8}{\mathrm{Ga}}_{41}$. A new empirical scaling formula is developed, which is able to capture the key features of the low-temperature magnetoresistance data of ${\mathrm{Mo}}_{8}{\mathrm{Ga}}_{41}$, as well as the data of ${\mathrm{La}}_{2\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{\mathrm{CuO}}_{4}$.

This study aims to elucidate how sevoflurane affects the malignant progression of gastric cancer (GC) and its pharmacological mechanism.Dose-dependent and time-dependent regulations of sevoflurane on proliferation inhibition rate in AGS and BGC-823 cells were examined, and thus the optimal dose and treatment time of sevoflurane on GC cells were selected. Subsequently, proliferative and migratory abilities in sevoflurane-induced AGS and BGC-823 cells (3.4% sevoflurane induction for 6 h) were detected by CCK-8 and transwell assay, respectively. After sevoflurane induction, relative levels of miR-34a and TGIF2 in GC cells were determined by qRT-PCR and Western blot. Regulatory effects of miR-34a on GC cell phenotypes were also assessed. Furthermore, the in vivo function of miR-34a in GC growth was explored by generating xenografted GC in nude mice.Sevoflurane induction time-dependently and dose-dependently enhanced proliferation inhibition rate in AGS and BGC-823 cells. The proliferative and migratory abilities in GC cells induced with 3.4% sevoflurane for 6 h were markedly attenuated. sevoflurane induction upregulated miR-34a, but downregulated TGIF2 in GC cells. TGIF2 was negatively regulated by miR-34a. Notably, overexpression of miR-34a inhibited proliferative and migratory abilities in sevoflurane-induced GC cells, and knockdown of miR-34a yielded the opposite results. In nude mice with xenografted GC tissues, sevoflurane treatment markedly reduced tumorigenic ability, which was improved by knockdown of miR-34a.Sevoflurane weakens proliferative and migratory abilities in GC by upregulating miR-34a and downregulating TGIF2.

Background Air pollution has been associated with an increase in cardiovascular diseases incidence. To evaluate whether air pollution can accelerate atherogenic processes, we assessed the effects of air pollution on important surrogate markers of atherosclerosis [brachial flow-mediated dilation (FMD) and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT)]. Methods A total of 1656 Han Chinese (mean age 46.0 + 11.2 years; male 47%) in Hong Kong, Macau, Pun Yu, Yu County and the 3-Gorges Territories (Yangtze River) were studied between 1996 and 2007 [Chinese Atherosclerosis in the Aged and Young Project (the CATHAY Study)]. 2019新型冠状病毒（2019 novel coronavirus，2019-nCoV）感染已被纳入《中华人民共和国传染病防护法》规定的乙类传染病，并采取甲类传染病预防控制措施。耳鼻咽喉头颈外科急症食管异物、呼吸道异物、鼻出血、喉阻塞合并呼吸困难及头颈部外伤发病率相对较高，部分可迅速危及生命的急症需紧急手术。本文根据新型冠状病毒肺炎诊疗方案（试行第五版），在疫情蔓延地区结合华中科技大学同济医学院附属协和医院耳鼻咽喉科急诊手术处理的经验，现总结制订了新型冠状病毒防控期间耳鼻咽喉头颈外科急症手术诊疗建议，以期在新型冠状病毒防控期间提高耳鼻咽喉头颈外科急症的救治成功率及减少或避免围手术期医护人员新型冠状病毒感染可能。.

A numerical model based on the scaled boundary finite element method is developed to simulate the hydraulic fracturing in concrete-like quasi-brittle materials using cohesive interface elements. The shadow domain method developed previously (Yang and Deeks in Eng Fract Mech 143(4):333–354, 2007) is extended to consider crack-width-dependent hydraulic pressure and cohesive traction, so that the stress intensity factors caused by both crack-face forces are semi-analytically calculated separately in the same way. The crack propagation is determined by the criterion of $$K_\mathrm{I} \geqslant { \mathrm 0}$$ , and the propagation direction by the linear elastic fracture mechanics criteria. Two examples of concrete structures are modeled, and the results are in good agreement with the experimental data and others numerical results.

Two multilayer bonding structures have been designed to die-bond light-emitting diode (LED) chips on Ag/Cu thermal substrate, viz. Sn/ZnBi/Sn bilayer solder structure and Sn/BiZnBi/Sn sandwich solder structure. Both multilayer bonding structures successfully achieved LED chip die-attachment on Ag/Cu thermal substrate at relatively low temperature of 150°C. However, voids formed more seriously at the bonding interface for the Sn/ZnBi/Sn bilayer structure. On the other hand, little voiding was seen at the bonding interface for the Sn/BiZnBi/Sn sandwich structure. The average shear strength of the Sn/ZnBi/Sn bilayer solder structure and Sn/BiZnBi/Sn sandwich solder structure was 25 MPa and 40 MPa, respectively. We believe that the improved shear strength results for the sandwich solder structure compared with the bilayer solder structure are mainly due to less voiding at the bonding interface, which weakens the interface joint shear strength. Also, the intermetallic compounds (IMCs) jointing region at the joint interface of the sandwich solder structure was larger than at the joint interface of the bilayer solder structure. We believe that the IMC jointing at the interface could improve the die-bonding strength, while the Zn content in the bonding structure promoted voiding at the bonding interface for both solder structures. Moreover, the Zn content in the bonding structure slightly reduced the IMC joint region at the bonding interface for both solder structures.

The uneven development of adipose tissues reflects a differential occurrence of biological events in vivo while the underlying molecular mechanism remains largely unknown. In the present study, the in vivo inflammatory status of an inbred obese porcine model, Lantang pig, was assessed, aiming to provide evidence for obesity biology. Compared with genetically lean pigs (crossbred, Duroc × Landrace × Large White), Lantang pigs exhibited a larger amount of ultra large adipocytes in subcutaneous adipose tissue accompanied with higher expression of macrophage/monocytes markers and pro-inflammatory genes (TLR4, CD14, CD11β, MCP1, TNFα, IL1β and IL6) and lower expression of cellular antioxidant enzymes (SOD1, 2 and 3). Plasma concentrations of LPS and TNF-α were also higher in Lantang pigs than in lean pigs. Among adipose tissues of Lantang pigs, the subcutaneous tissue had the most abundant expression of inflammation related genes (TLR4, CD14, TNFα and IL6) and the lowest level of cellular antioxidant genes (SOD 1 and 2), while the perirenal adipose tissue had opposite profile. Significant activation of p38 MAPK pathway was indicated by increased phosphorylation of p38 in the subcutaneous adipose tissue of Lantang pigs. Collectively, the bacteria-derived LPS induced inflammation-associated oxidative stress indeed exists in adipose tissues of Lantang pig, and the differential expressions of inflammatory and antioxidant genes, to some extent, account for the uneven development of the adipose tissue within bodies.

The bulk electronic structure of ${T}_{d}$-${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ features large hole Fermi pockets at the Brillouin zone center ($\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}$) and two electron Fermi surfaces along the $\mathrm{\ensuremath{\Gamma}}\text{\ensuremath{-}}X$ direction. However, the large hole pockets, whose existence has important implications for the Weyl physics of ${T}_{d}$-${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$, has never been conclusively detected in quantum oscillations. This raises doubt about the realizability of Majorana states in ${T}_{d}$-${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$, because these exotic states rely on the existence of Weyl points, which originated from the same band structure predicted by density functional theory (DFT). Here, we report an unambiguous detection of these elusive hole pockets via Shubnikov--de Haas (SdH) quantum oscillations. At ambient pressure, the quantum oscillation frequencies for these pockets are 988 and 1513 T, when the magnetic field is applied along the $c$ axis. The quasiparticle effective masses ${m}^{*}$ associated with these frequencies are 1.50 and 2.77 ${m}_{e}$, respectively, indicating the importance of Coulomb interactions in this system. We further measure the SdH oscillations under pressure. At 13 kbar, we detected a peak at 1798 T with ${m}^{*}=2.86{m}_{e}$. Relative to the oscillation data at a lower pressure, the amplitude of this peak experienced an enhancement, which can be attributed to the reduced curvature of the hole pockets under pressure. Combining our experimental data with $\text{DFT}+U$ calculations, where $U$ is the Hubbard parameter, our results shed light on why these important hole pockets have not been detected until now.

In the clinic, therapeutic options for pulmonary arterial hypertension are limited; therefore, investigating the therapeutic strategies and novel therapies is critical for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) treatment. This study aimed to evaluate the role of miRNA-126 (miR-126) and its associated signaling pathways and specific mechanisms for the pathogenesis of PAH.The pulmonary artery endothelial cells (PAECs) were isolated and identified. The miR-126 mimic and miR-126 inhibitor were synthesized. LV-3-miR-126 mimic viral vector and LV-3-miR-126 inhibitor vector were established and infected into pulmonary artery endothelial cells. Expression of sprouty-related EVH1 domain-containing protein 1 (SPRED1), phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 2 (PIK3R2) and miR-126 were detected using Real-time PCR (RT-PCR). Cell apoptosis (Annexin V-PE/7-AAD) and proliferation (PKH26) were examined by using FACScan flow cytometry. Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), transforming growth factor β1 (TGF-β1) and TGF-β3 levels were evaluated using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kits.miR-126 inhibited the endothelial cells related to SPRED1 and PIK3R2 expression. Over-expression of miR-126 significantly inhibited the PAECs apoptosis compared to PAECs and blank LV-3 vector group (p0.05). miR-126 significantly triggered the PAECs proliferation compared to PAECs and blank LV-3 vector group (p0.05). In functional analysis, miR-126 mimic significantly increased the cells amounts of S phases compared to PAECs and blank LV-3 vector group (p0.05). Pre-infection with miR-126 mimic significantly enhanced the levels of VEGF, TGF-β1, and TGF-β3 compared to PAECs and blank LV-3 vector group (p0.05).miR-126 could affect cell apoptosis, proliferation, cell cycle, and modulate VEGF/TGF-β levels.

Superconductivity in the type-II Weyl semimetal candidate ${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ has attracted much attention due to the possible realization of topological superconductivity. Under applied pressure, the superconducting transition temperature is significantly enhanced, while the structural transition from the high-temperature $1{T}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ phase to the low-temperature ${T}_{d}$ phase is suppressed. Hence, applying pressure allows us to investigate the dimensionality of superconductivity in $1{T}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{-}{\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$. We have performed a detailed study of the magnetotransport properties and upper critical field ${H}_{c2}$ of ${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ under pressure. The magnetoresistance (MR) and Hall coefficient of ${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$ are found to decrease with increasing pressure. In addition, the Kohler's scalings for the MR data above $\ensuremath{\sim}11\phantom{\rule{4pt}{0ex}}\mathrm{kbar}$ show a change of exponent whereas the data at lower pressure can be well scaled with a single exponent. These results are suggestive of a Fermi-surface reconstruction when the structure changes from the ${T}_{d}$ to $1{T}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ phase. The ${H}_{c2}$-temperature phase diagram constructed at 15 kbar, with $H\ensuremath{\parallel}ab$ and $H\ensuremath{\perp}ab$, can be satisfactorily described by the Werthamer--Helfand--Hohenberg model with the Maki parameters $\ensuremath{\alpha}\ensuremath{\sim}0.77$ and 0.45, respectively. The relatively large $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ may stem from a small Fermi surface and a large effective mass of semimetallic ${\mathrm{MoTe}}_{2}$. The angular dependence of ${H}_{c2}$ at 15 kbar can be well fit by the Tinkham model, suggesting the two-dimensional nature of superconductivity in the high-pressure $1{T}^{\ensuremath{'}}$ phase.

In this study, light emitting diode (LED) chips were die-bonded on a Ag/Cu substrate by a Sn-BixZn-Sn bonding system. A high die-bonding strength is successfully achieved by using a Sn-BixZn-Sn ternary system. At the bonding interface, there is observed a Bi-segregation phenomenon. This Bi-segregation phenomenon solves the problems of the brittle layer-type Bi at the joint interface. Our shear test results show that the bonding interface with Bi-segregation enhances the shear strength of the LED die-bonding joints. The Bi-0.3Zn and Bi-0.5Zn die-bonding cases have the best shear strength among all die-bonding systems. In addition, we investigate the atomic depth profile of the deposited Bi-xZn layer by evaporating Bi-xZn E-gun alloy sources. The initial Zn content of the deposited Bi-Zn alloy layers are much higher than the average Zn content in the deposited Bi-Zn layers.

Cervical cancer is a common type in gynecologic malignant tumor that accounts for the leading morbidity only after breast cancer in female. This study aims to determine the diagnostic significance of uterine epithelial cells stability free body of iron protoporphyrin reduced state (FH) detection combined human papillomavirus (HPV) screening for cervical cancer.A total of 800 patients were enrolled. FH test and HPV genotyping detection were performed. The cases with abnormal results were treated by colposcopy. Pathological detection was treated as the golden standard. Coincidence rate, sensitivity, and specificity were calculated.The positive rate of FH and high-risk HPV rate were 11.5% and 16.5%, respectively. The coincidence rate of single FH detection positive and negative was 76.08% and 85.71%, respectively. FH detection exhibited sensitivity of 74.26% and specificity of 61.22%. The coincidence rate of single positive and negative HPV test was 53.03% and 88.58%, respectively. HPV screening presented sensitivity of 77.25% and specificity of 65.37%. The coincidence rate of positive and negative combined detection was 92.11% and 100%, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of combined detection was 96.32% and 81.22%, respectively, which was significantly higher than that of single detection group (p0.05).FH detection combined with HPV screening is efficient in the diagnosis of cervical cancer and precancerous lesion, which is better than single use of FH detection. Our data highlight the importance of FH with HPV screening for the clinical application.

Approaching a quantum critical point (QCP) has been an effective route to stabilize superconductivity. While the role of magnetic QCPs has been extensively discussed, similar exploration of a structural QCP is scarce due to the lack of suitable systems with a continuous structural transition that can be conveniently tuned to 0 K. Using inelastic x-ray scattering, we examine the phonon spectrum of the nonmagnetic quasiskutterudite $({\mathrm{Ca}}_{x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{)}_{3}{\mathrm{Rh}}_{4}{\mathrm{Sn}}_{13}$, which represents a precious system to explore the interplay between structural instabilities and superconductivity by tuning the Ca concentration $x$. We unambiguously detect the softening of phonon modes around the M point on cooling towards the structural transition. Intriguingly, at $x=0.85$, the soft mode energy squared at the M point extrapolates to zero at $(\ensuremath{-}5.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}7.7)$ K, providing the first compelling microscopic evidence of a structural QCP in $({\mathrm{Ca}}_{x}{\mathrm{Sr}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{)}_{3}{\mathrm{Rh}}_{4}{\mathrm{Sn}}_{13}$. The enhanced phonon density of states at low energy provides the essential ingredient for realizing strong-coupling superconductivity near the structural QCP.

With the recent discovery of the quantum anomalous Hall insulator (QAHI), which exhibits the conductive quantum Hall edge states without external magnetic field, it becomes possible to create a topological superconductor (SC) by introducing superconductivity into these edge states. In this case, 2 distinct topological superconducting phases with 1 or 2 chiral Majorana edge modes were theoretically predicted, characterized by Chern numbers ( N ) of 1 and 2, respectively. We present spectroscopic evidence from Andreev reflection experiments for the presence of chiral Majorana modes in an Nb/(Cr 0.12 Bi 0.26 Sb 0.62 ) 2 Te 3 heterostructure with distinct signatures attributed to 2 different topological superconducting phases. The results are in qualitatively good agreement with the theoretical predictions.

The objective of the present study was to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation with glycitein, a major soy isoflavone, during late pregnancy (starting on d 85) and lactation on antioxidative indices and performance in primiparous sows. A total of 227 gilts (Yorkshire × Landrace) were used, and after parturition, piglets were cross-fostered within treatment so that each sow suckled 10 piglets. Gilts were randomly divided into 4 groups on d 85 of pregnancy and thereafter fed the basal diets of gestation or lactation (controls) or those supplemented with 15, 30, or 45 mg/kg diet glycitein. Reproductive performance of the sows, growth of litters, concentration of plasma glycitein, milk composition, and antioxidative indices in sows' plasma and milk, such as the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), and the content of malondialdehyde (MDA), were measured. Supplementation of the dam's diets with glycitein increased ADG of piglets (linear, P = 0.003) and weaned BW of litters (linear, P = 0.01) and both variables were approximately 10% greater than controls with the 45 mg/kg treatment. The percentage of milk protein was linearly (P 0.05). The glycitein concentration in sow's plasma was linearly (P < 0.0001) elevated. During lactation, linear increases occurred in plasma activities of SOD (P < 0.001) and T-AOC (P < 0.05 to P< 0.001), CAT (d 7 to 18 of lactation, P < 0.05) and GSH-Px (d 7 of lactation, P < 0.05), whereas the content of plasma MDA decreased (linear, P < 0.05) throughout lactation with glycitein supplementation. Activities of CAT and T-AOC in milk were not affected by maternal supplementation with glycitein, but increases in SOD on d 18 of lactation (P< 0.001) and GSH-Px in colostrum (P < 0.05) were observed. The content of MDA in milk was decreased (linear, P< 0.05) at all stages of lactation except d 14. Collectively, the results of this study indicate that dietary supplementation with glycitein in sows during late pregnancy and lactation elevated the antioxidative indices, decreased the content of MDA in sow's plasma and milk, improved milk composition, and enhanced the growth performance of the sucking piglets.

Twelve novel triazolothiadiazole derivatives were synthesized from 4-amino-5-substituted-4 H -1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols with various aromatic carboxylic acids by cyclization in the presence of phosphorous oxychloride. All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by FTIR, 1 H NMR, mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The antimicrobial activities of the title compounds were examined by disc diffusion method against Escherichia coli , Staphylococcus aureus , Pyricularia oryzae and Rhizoctnia solani . The bioassay indicated all synthesized triazolothiadiazole derivatives possessed moderate to good antibacterial and antifungal activities against the tested organisms. Especially, compounds 2e and 2k exhibited excellent antibacterial and antifungal activities among these triazolothiadiazole derivatives. We report the magnetoresistance of ScSb, which is a semimetal with a simple rocksalt-type structure. We found that the magnetoresistance reaches $\sim$28000 % at 2 K and 14 T in our best sample, and it exhibits a resistivity plateau at low temperatures. The Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations extracted from the magnetoresistance data allow the full construction of the Fermi surface, including the so-called $\alpha_3$ pocket which has been missing in other closely related monoantimonides, and an additional hole pocket centered at $\Gamma$. The electron concentration ($n$) and the hole concentration ($p$) are extracted from our analysis, which indicate that ScSb is a nearly compensated semimetal with $n/p\approx0.93$. The calculated band structure indicates the absence of a band inversion, and the large magnetoresistance in ScSb can be attributed to the nearly perfect compensation of electrons and holes, despite the existence of the additional hole pocket., Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures
