A retrospective analysis was performed on 11 cases of Masson's tumor admitted to Liaocheng People's Hospital from January 2010 to July 2021. Among them, there were 4 males and 7 females, aged from 14 to 62 years, with a medical history of 1 to 24 months. All of the patients complained of touching the mass under the skin. In this group, 9 cases were pure form, 1 case was mixed form and 1 case was extravascular form. Ultrasound imaging can reflect the characteristics of Masson's tumor to a certain extent, which has a certain value in the diagnosis, classification and differential diagnosis.回顾性分析2010年1月至2021年7月聊城市人民医院收治的11例马松瘤病例，其中男4例，女7例，年龄14~62岁，病史1~24个月，均为皮下触及肿物就诊。本组病例中，9例为单纯型，1例为混合型，1例为血管外型。超声影像可以在一定程度上反映马松瘤的特征，在其诊断、分型和鉴别诊断上具有一定的价值。.

Sugars are the building blocks of carbohydrates and a source of energy and calories that helps in proper functioning of the muscles and brain. It plays one of the most essential parts in food ingredients, contributing fibres, vitamins and minerals in our diet. Largely speaking, sugarcane and sugar beets are the commercially viable sources of sugar. However, sugar is a by-product of photosynthesis and, as such, is found in fibres of all plants. Sugar is found inherently in fruits, vegetables, dairy goods and grains. Sugarcane from the East Indies was the first sugar crop to be cultivated, while sugar beets were developed in the nineteenth century in Europe. The change in consumer and lifestyle habits in the last half a century has brought a significant shift in the way we consume and make use of sugar. Other than sugarcane and sugar beet, nowadays there are several other organic and artificial sweetening agents that have been used since centuries. In processed foods, powdered drink mixes, baked goods, dairy products and soft drinks, sugar substitutes are commonly used. In addition, the growth of low-sugar foods among diabetic and diet-conscious people, and the growing demand for dietary liquid foods, is further projected to accelerate the growth of the market for sugar substitutes. People have used sugar, natural syrups like maple syrup and other natural substances like honey to sweeten their products. In the USA, sugar consumption pattern has changed drastically in the last three decades due to the invention of the starch hydrolysis technique. Also, the market is experiencing growth of sugar substitutes due to the booming of food processing industry, growing diabetes incidence and rising obesity among the population. Hence, many of the ingredients used today as fillers, sweetening and bulking agents comprise of sugar alcohols and other organic and synthetic sweet materials apart from usual white sugar.

Stability analysis indicated that the linear component was high for leaf area per plant and dry stover yield per plant indicating that linear component contributed more towards the genotype x environment interactions, while high value of non-linear components was observed in days to maturity and plant height. In case of days to 50 per cent flowering and leaves per plant both linear and non-linear components was almost equal indicating importance of both linear and non-linear components in determining genotype x environment interactions for these attributes. For days to 50% flowering, eight male parents, 31 hybrids and check CSH 15R showed average stability over environments, whereas the female parent 104A showed above average stability and suitability to poor environments. Five male parents, 17 hybrids and check CSH 15R recorded low mean, non-significant regression coefficient and non-significant S 2 di values that showed average stability over environments for days to maturity. As regards to plant height 6 males and 25 hybrids were found stable and four hybrids were found above average stable and suitable for poor environments whereas, one hybrid 9168A x RSV 1006 was found below average stable for this trait. For number of leaves per plant 8 male parents and 33 hybrids showed average stability over environments and two hybrids 9168A x RSV 1006 and 9168A x SPV 1546 exhibited below average stability and suitability to favourable environments. Male SPV 1546, check BP 53 and 10 hybrids showed average stability over environments whereas the hybrid 1543A x SPV 1359 showed below average stability and suitability to favourable environments and the hybrid 1343A x RSSGV 43 exhibited above average stability and suitability for unfavourable environments for leaf area per plant. For dry stover yield per plant, ten male parents and 22 hybrids were considered stable for this trait. The hybrid 9168A x RSV 1006 showed below average stability which was suitable for rich environments. From the stability analysis, it can be concluded that none of genotype was found to be ideal with wider adaptability for all the characters, hence the parents and hybrids showing average stability for different characters could be considered for future breeding programme for genetic improvement of rabi sorghum.

A field experiment was conducted during 2012–2013, and 2013–2014 with two dates of sowing as main plot and six genotypes as sub-plot treatments. Late sowing resulted in significant reduction in the days to 50 % flowering, days to 50 % boll bursting and days to maturity as well as number of GDDs for boll bursting and maturity compared to normal sowing. The fiber quality parameters, viz., 2.5 % span length, uniformity ratio, micronaire value, fiber strength, elongation and fiber maturity exhibited significant decline under late sowing. However, short fiber index increased under late sowing. Late sown crop could not develop a full canopy surface area as evidenced by reduced plant height, sympodia, leaf area and LAI at different growth stages. The Bt hybrid, Ankur-3028 BG-II recorded significantly higher plant height, sympodia, number of bolls, boll weight, seed cotton yield, seed and lint index and fiber properties like 2.5 % span length, fiber strength. The Bt hybrid G.Cot.Hy.-8 BG-II was early in terms of days to 50 % squaring, flowering, boll bursting and maturity and required less GDDs to attain a particular growth stage. The genotype Ankur-3028 BG-II took significantly higher number of GDDs during flowering to boll opening stage.

Five lines and ten testers were crossed in line x tester manner to develop 50 F 1 hybrids. ANOVA showed significant differences among the environments and genotypes for all characters. gca exhibited greater stability than sca for all the characters. σ 2 gca/ σ 2 sca ratio revealed preponderance of additive gene action for seed yield per plant, capsules per plant, capsule length and 1000-seed weight. While, preponderance of non-additive gene action was recorded for the rest, suggesting in general, the importance of both additive and non-additive gene action for inheritance of component traits. The parent G.Til-3 was found to be good combiner for all the traits except earliness characters where Phule Til 1 manifested good gca. G.Til-2 exhibited poor general combining ability for almost all the characters. Among male parents JLS-116, AKT-101, JLS-9707-2 and JLS-110-12 were good general combiners for seed yield per plant as well as most of the yield components. The crosses G.Til-3 x AKT-64, Phule Til No.1 x JLS-116 and Patan-64 x AKT-101 manifested significant, higher and desirable sca effects for seed yield per plant as well as important yield components.
