Terörkavramı genel itibari ile birden fazla kişinin bir araya gelerek bir örgüt çerçevesindecebir, şiddet, tehdit gibi yollarla korku ve panik ortamı yaratarak siyasal biramaca ulaşmak amacıyla güvenlik kuvvetlerine veya sivillere yönelik yapılan sesgetirici eylemler şeklinde tanımlanabilir. 1970’ li yılların sonuna doğruTürkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti’nin karşı karşıya kaldığı ve uzun yılladır mücadeleettiği terör olgusu başta ekonomik, sosyal, coğrafi, beşeri ve siyasal hayatolmak üzere birçok alanı etkilemiştir. Terör ve terör eylemleri maalesef birçokalanda ve coğrafi bölgede etki bırakmıştır. Terör eylemlerinin geçmişte yoğunyaşandığı Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde, her alanda hissedilen terör gerçeği, kamugörevlilerinin özelde ise bu bölgede çalışan akademisyenlerin çalışma hayatınada sirayet etmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı,tarihsel olarak Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde kurulmuş olan en köklüüniversitelerden biri olan Van Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi ile yeni kurulmuş olanBitlis Eren Üniversitesi örnekleri üzerinden Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi’nde görevyapmakta olan akademisyenlerin terör kaygısının ölçülmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bukapsamda belirtilen üniversitelerde görev yapmakta olan akademisyenlerin terörkaygısını ölçmek için anket tekniği yöntemi kullanılarak yüz yüze anketuygulaması yapılmıştır. Anket sonuçları SPSS 22 paket programı kullanılarak analizedilmiştir. Yapılan analiz neticesinde Doğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nde görev yapmaktaolan akademisyenlerin; terör kaygılarının olup olmadığı, terör kaygılarının varolması halinde sebepleri, imkânları olması halinde başka bir bölgede görevyapmayı tercih edip etmeyecekleri, gibikonulara cevap aranmıştır Theconcept of terrorism can generally be defined as the resounding actions takenagainst the security forces or civilians in order to achieve a political goalby creating an atmosphere of fear and panic by means of force, violence andthreats, by gathering more than one person within the framework of anorganization. Towards the end of the 1970s, the phenomenon of terrorism, whichthe Republic of Turkey faced and fought for many years, affected many areas,especially economic, social, geographical, human and political life. Terrorismand terrorist acts have unfortunately left an impact in many areas andgeographical regions. In the Eastern Anatolia Region, where terrorist acts havebeen intense in the past, the reality of terrorism felt in all areas has alsospread to the working life of public officials and especially academics workingin this region.Theaim of this study is to measure the terror anxiety of academics working in theEastern Anatolia Region through the examples of Van Yüzüncü Yıl University,which is one of the most rooted universities historically established in theEastern Anatolia Region, and the newly established Bitlis Eren University. Inthis context, a face-to-face survey was conducted using the survey techniquemethod to measure the terror anxiety of the academics working at theuniversities mentioned. The survey results were analyzed using the SPSS 22package program. As a result of the analysis, the academicians working in theEastern Anatolia Region; Questions such as whether they have terror concerns,their reasons for terror concerns, whether they would prefer to work in anotherregion if they had the opportunity, were sought.

Bu tez çalışmasında, yüksek fırın cürufu ve nano-SiO2 ile stabilize edilen yüksek plastisiteli ince daneli zeminin bir boyutlu oturma davranışı araştırılmıştır. Deneysel çalışmalarda, yüksek fırın cürufu ve yüksek fırın cürufu ile nano-SiO2 karışımının stabilizasyona etkisi ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda, yüksek plastisiteli zemine dört farklı oranda yüksek fırın cürufu (%10, %20, %30 ve %40) ve aynı cüruf oranlarına küçük miktarlarda (%1 ve %1.5) nano-SiO2 eklenerek iki farklı numune hazırlanmıştır. Deneysel çalışmaların ilk aşaması olarak, kullanılan malzemelere XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence), XRD (X-Işınları Kırınımı), SEM (Taramalı Elektron Mikroskobu) ve lazer kırınım testleri yapılarak malzemelerin fiziksel ve özellikleri tespit edilmiştir. Sonrasında, stabilize zeminlerin indeks özelliklerini ve hacimsel değişimini değerlendirmek için bir dizi laboratuvar deneyi (Atterberg limitleri, proktor, konsolidasyon ve şişme) yapılmıştır. Deney sonuçları hem yüksek fırın cürufu hem de cüruf ile nano-SiO2 karışımlarının plastisitenin azaltılması, yoğunluğun arttırılması, konsolidasyon oturmaları ve şişme yüzdelerinin azalmasında etkili olduğunu göstermektedir. Ayrıca, genel olarak yüksek fırın cüruf ile %1 nano-SiO2 karışımının, %1.5 oranına göre daha etkili olduğu görülmüştür. Anahtar sözcükler: Zemin stabilizasyonu, konsolidasyon, Nano-SiO2, yüksek fırın cürufu, yüksek plastisiteli zemin, In this thesis, the one-dimensional consolidation behavior of high plasticity fine-grained soil stabilized by blast furnace slag and nano-SiO2 was investigated. The effect of blast furnace slag, and the mixture of blast furnace slag and nano-SiO2 on stabilization were examined separately in experimental studies. In this scop, two different samples were prepared by adding four different ratios of blast furnace slag (10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%) and the same slag ratios with small amounts (1% and 1.5%) of nano-SiO2 to the high plasticity soil, separately. As the first step of experimental studies, the physical and chemical properties of the materials were determined by performing XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence), XRD (X-Ray Diffraction), SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), and laser diffraction tests on the materials. Then, a series of laboratory tests (Atterberg limit tests, proctor, consolidation, and swelling) were conducted to evaluate the index properties and the volumetric change of stabilized soils. The test outcomes revealed that both blast furnace slag and the mixture of blast furnace slag and nano-SiO2 are effective in increasing density, reducing plasticity, compressibility, and swelling. Additionally, it has been observed that the mixture of blast furnace slag with 1% nano-SiO2 is more effective than 1.5% in general. In this research, the effects some pretreatments (stratification, soaking, cracking and gibberellic acid) and combinations of treatments on the germination ratio of jujube (Ziziphus spp) seeds were investigated. The study was carried out between 2016 and 2017 in the laboratory and high tunnel of Department of Horticulture in the Faculty of Agriculture, Kirsehir Ahi Evran University, Turkey. Total of 32 different pretreatments including the control treatment were used to break the dormancy of jujube seeds. The pretreatments were dual combinations of cracking, soaking in 12 and 24 hours, stratification in 30, 60 and 90 days and 12 hours soaking in 200 ppm and 400 ppm GA(3) solutions. The highest germination ratio (23.33%) was obtained with 200 ppm GA(3) treatment, while the lowest germination (0%) ratio was obtained by soaking in water for 12 hours and 30-day stratification treatments, respectively. In dual combination treatments, the highest germination ratio (58.33%) was found in 200 ppm GA(3) + cracking treatment, while the lowest germination ratio (0%) was obtained from 30 days stratification + soaking in water for 12 hours treatment.
