Her üretim tarzı kendi kent mekânını yaratmaktadır. Dolayısıyla tarihsel süreç içerisinde üretim biçimlerinde yaşanan değişimler kentlerde bir takım değişim ve dönüşümleri meydana getirmektedir. Bu çerçevede değerlendirildiğinde sermaye birikim krizine bağlı olarak uygulamaya konulan neo-liberal politikalar ve Post-fordist üretim ilişkileri, sanayileşmeyle beraber değişim gösteren kent olgusunu kendi içerisinde değiştirmiş ve dönüştürmüştür. Diğer bir ifadeyle sanayileşme dönemiyle birlikte sermaye birikim aracı olan kentler neo-liberal politikalar ve beraberinde Post-fordist üretim ilişkileri ile birlikte sermaye birikiminin esas aktörü haline gelmiştir. 2000’li yıllarla beraber hızlanan kentsel dönüşüm uygulamaları, kentte sınıflar arasındaki ayrışmayı derinleştirmiş; zenginin daha zenginleştiği yoksulun daha yoksullaştığı bir süreci beraberinde getirmiştir. Ancak esas etki çocular ve yoksul çocuklar üzerinde görülmektedir. Çünkü kentsel dönüşüm süreci yoksul ailelerin üzerindeki ekonomik yükü artırmaktadır. Bu durum ise yoksul ailelerdeki çocukların emek piyasasına dâhil olmasına neden olabilmektedir. Zira çocuklarda yoksulluğun en büyük yansıması çocuk işçiliği olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmamız Türkiye’de kentsel dönüşüm uygulamalarının kapsamlı olarak gerçekleştirildiği ilk örneklerden olan Küçükçekmece ilçesi Ayazma mahallesinde yaşanan dönüşüm süreci ile ortaya çıkan yoksullaşmadan etkilenen ve bu sebeple emek piyasasına dâhil olan çocukları ele almaktadır. --------------------Each mode of production creates its own urban space. Therefore, the changes experienced in the production processes in the historical process create some changes and transformations in the cities. In this context, the neo-liberal policies and post-fordist relations of production which were put into practice in connection with the capital accumulation crisis changed and transformed the urban phenomenon that changed with industrialization. In other words, with the period of industrialization, cities became the main actors of capital accumulation together with neo-liberal policies and post-fordist relations of production.The urban transformation practices that accelerated in the 2000s deepened the divide between classes in the city. it brought with it a process in which the rich became richer and the poor became more impoverished. However, the main effect is seen on children and poor children. Because the urban transformation process increases the economic burden on poor families. This may lead to the inclusion of children in poor families into the labor market. Because child labor is the biggest reflection of poverty in children. Our work in this context is to handle children who are in Turkey affected by urban renewal application of one of the first examples of the comprehensive realization Kucukcekmece district Ayazma without impoverishment brought about by the transformation process of the neighborhood and included this reason the labor market.
