As cyberattacks have become more prevalent and sophisticated, designing and developing intrusion detection systems (IDS) has turned out to be an increasingly challenging task. Machine learning-based intrusion detection systems offer a solution for fast, adaptable and accurate detection of intrusion incidents. However, depending on who is evaluating the classifier, this requires the IDS provider and the user to share the confidential network data and the evaluation model, putting both parties at risk of privacy violations. The homomorphic encryption technique proposes a solution to overcome such privacy issues, by allowing manipulation of encrypted data without requiring a decryption key. Using this technique, the parties may encrypt their private input (e.g., network data or evaluation model) before sharing it with an untrusted party for evaluation. As the homomorphic encryption technique may impose a prohibitively high computational overhead, the homomorphically executed classifiers must be designed to retain the detection abilities of the actual classifiers while minimizing the total computation overhead and multiplicative depth of the circuit that implements the classifiers. This thesis compares the performance of different machine learning-based classifiers for network intrusion detection and also evaluates different encryption scenarios. The overall detection accuracy, time performance, and security and privacy concerns of different implementations are assessed and discussed.

Aim: Endodontic irrigants may be used during a second-visit treatment or retreatment of root canals with perforations requiring repair biomaterials. After a final flushing with a chemical irrigant, some solution may remain in the root canal space, which can affect the surface of the biomaterial, altering its properties and roughness. The present study aimed to evaluate the effect of various irrigating solutions on surface microhardness and roughness of Biodentine (Septodont, Saint Maur des Fosses, France). Materials and Methods: Fifty Biodentine specimens were prepared and randomly divided into five groups, with 10 samples in each group. The specimens were then stored in different solutions for 5 min: distilled water (control), 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 17% ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) solution, 2% chlorhexidine (CHX), or ozonated water. Surface microhardness (Vickers hardness number [VHN]) and surface roughness were evaluated using 2-D profilometry. The data were analyzed using Kruskal–Wallis and Mann–Whitney U tests. The significance level was set at P < 0.05. Results: The VHN of specimens exposed to NaOCl and CHX was significantly lower than the VHN of specimens exposed to distilled water and EDTA (p < 0.001, p = 0.003, p = 0.001, and p = 0.006, respectively). There was no so significant difference in the mean VHN of the EDTA-treated specimens versus that of the control samples (p = 0.999). Regarding the surface roughness of Biodentine, there were no significant differences between irrigation solutions (2 = 4.243; p = 0.374). Conclusions: Exposure to all the irrigation solutions, except EDTA and ozonated water had an adverse effect on surface microhardness of Biodentine, whereas none of the irrigation solutions significantly changed surface roughness. Therefore, in clinical situations, such as perforation repair with Biodentine, use of EDTA and ozonated water may be preferred. Bu çalışma çeşitli irrigasyon solüsyonlarının Biodentine (Septodont, Saint Maur des Fosses, Fransa)’in yüzey mikrosertliği ve pürüzlülüğü üzerine etkisini değerlendirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Elli adet Biodentine örneği hazırlandı ve rastgele olarak her grup 10 örnek içerecek şekilde beş gruba ayrıldı. Sonrasında örnekler farklı solüsyonlarda 5 dakika bekletildi: distile su(kontrol), %5.25 sodyum hipoklorit (NaOCl), %17 etilendiamintetraasetik asit (EDTA) solution, %2 klorheksidin (CHX), veya ozonlu su. Yüzey mikrosertliği (Vickers sertlik değeri [VHN]) ve yüzey pürüzlülüğü 2-D profilometre kullanılarak değerlendirildi. Veriler Kruskal–Wallis ve Mann–Whitney U testleri kullanılarak değerlendirildi. İstatistiksel anlamlılık seviyesi P < 0.05 olarak belirlendi. Bulgular: NaOCl ve CHX’de bekletilen örneklerin VHN değerleri distile su ve EDTA’da bekletilenlere gore anlamlı derecede düşüktür (p < 0.001, p = 0.003, p = 0.001, ve p = 0.006, sırasıyla). EDTA-uygulanmış örneklerin ortalama VHN değeriyle kontrol örneklerininki arasında anlamlı fark bulunmamaktadır (p = 0.999). Biodentine’in yüzey pürüzlülüğüne ilişkin ise irrigasyon solüsyonları arasında anlamlı fark bulunmamaktadır (2 = 4.243; p = 0.374). Sonuçlar: EDTA ve ozonlu su haricindeki tüm irrigasyon solüsyonlarına maruz kalmanın Biodentine’in yüzey sertliği üzerine olumsuz etkisi bulunsa da, diğer taraftan irrigasyon solüsyonlarının hiçbiri yüzey pürüzlülüğünü anlamlı derecede değiştirmemiştir. The congenital gingival granular cell tumor (CGCT), also as known as congenital epulis, is an unusual benign oral mucosal lesion in newborns. A two-day-old female patient was admitted to the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Gulhane Medical Academy, Ankara, Turkey with her family, and an intraoral examination showed a CGCT located in the buccal region of the maxillary right first primary molar. In this report, we present a case of CGCT in a newborn.

Antalya kenti son on yılda turizm yatırımlarından kaynaklan nüfus artışı ile birlikte kentleşme konusunda yaşanan hızlı gelişimle bir dünya kenti olmuştur. Bu hızlı gelişim beraberinde yoğun bir kentleşme olgusunun yaşanmasına yol açmıştır. Batıya doğru kentleşmenin sonucunda ortaya çıkan yeni yerleşimlerden biri olan Konyaaltı ilçesi doğal güzellikleriyle olduğu kadar, yeni yapıları ve park alanları ile dikkat çekmektedir. Parkların vazgeçilmez ögelerinden olan donatı elemanları, faydaları ve estetik özellikleriyle bir parkın çehresini değiştirebilmektedir. Diğer taraftan donatı elemanlarının kullanıcılarla çeşitli yönlerden sürekli etkileşim halinde olduğu bir gerçektir. Bu çalışmada da Konyaaltı yerleşimi sınırları içerisinde bulunan parklarda kullanılan donatı elemanlarının, kullanıcı memnuniyeti, yapılan anketlerle saptanmaya çalışılmıştır. Anket sonuçları ışığında donatı elemanlarının parklara olan olumlu ve olumsuz katkıları belirlenmeye çalışılarak, mevcut durumun daha iyi olabilmesi konusunda öneriler getirilmiştir. Antalya has become a world known city with the rapid development in the recent years. This rapid development brings a lot of problems like density of the population and building areas. Because of this rapid development, suburban areas become urban areas such as Konyaaltı which is most significant town with its new buildings and park areas. The park furniture can be change the view of the park with its function and esthetic properties. At the other hand, it is accepted that the park furniture always interaction with user many kinds of way. In this research it is determine that the satisfaction of user from the park furniture which are in the Konyaaltı’s parks by the way of the public survey. It is tried to define their positive or negative aid to that parks. And the last it is tried to bring some offer for to remediation of the current situation

Günümüzde tasarımcılar, estetik değerlere sahip, modern kentler olu?turabilmekiçin yeni ara?tırmalar yapmaya yönlenmektedir. Donatı elemanları konusundakiara?tırmalar da bu kapsamda önem ta?ımaktadır. Bu tez çalı?masının amacı, Antalyakentindeki parklarda yer alan donatı elemanları uygulamalarının incelenmesi,tasarımların uzmanlar tarafından yorumlanması, kentli ihtiyaçlarının belirlenmesi veçıkan sonuçlar doğrultusunda uygulamalarla ilgili karar verici rol üstlenen yerelyönetimlerin bu analizlerden haberdar edilerek gelecekteki uygulamalar içinyararlanacakları bir çalı?manın olu?turulmasıdır. Çalı?manın sonuç kısmında,Antalya?nın farklı belediyelerine ait parklarda yer alan donatı elemanlarının kullanıcıbeğeni düzeyleri saptanmı?, donatı elemanları ile ilgili sorun ve eksiklikler belirlenmi?ve çözüm önerileri getirilmi?tir. Sonuçlara göre donatı elemanlarının en yüksek beğenidüzeyinin bile orta seviyede olması belediyelerin donatı elemanları kapsamında yenidüzenlemeler ve yeni tasarım çalı?malarına gereksinim duyduğu anla?ılmaktadır.

Bu araştırmanın amacı öncelikle şu sorulara cevap bulmaktır; işçi sendikaları 1980 sonrası süreci nasıl değerlendiriyor? Neoliberal politikalar sendikaları nasıl etkiledi? Çalışma hayatındaki dönüşümler sendikalara nasıl deneyimler yaşatıyor? Örgütlenme süreçlerinde nelerle karşılaşıyorlar? Sendikal kriz sendikalar tarafından nasıl algılanıyor? Sendikal krizin nasıl aşılacağı konusunda sendikalar ne düşünüyor? Sendikaların siyasetle ve siyasal partilerle ilişkiler noktasındaki tutumları nedir? Dolayısıyla bu çalışmada Türkiye'deki Türk-İş, Hak-İş ve DİSK'ten oluşan üç işçi konfederasyonuna bağlı 17 sendikanın yöneticileri ve çalışanlarıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılarak yapılan görüşmelerle sendikal krizi nasıl algıladıkları anlaşılmaya çalışılmıştır.Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde kapitalizmin Fordist ve Post-Fordist dönemleri ele alınmış ve bu dönemlerin emek süreçlerini nasıl şekillendirdiği anlatılmaya çalışılmıştır. Ardından kapitalizmin günümüzdeki işleyiş biçimi olarak adlandırabileceğimiz neoliberal sürecin emek piyasasına yansımaları irdelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, çalışma hayatındaki dönüşümlerin sendikal örgütlenmeye etkileri incelenmiş ve bu sürecin Türkiye'de nasıl gerçekleştiğine odaklanılmıştır. Çalışmanın üçüncü bölümünde ise seçilen işkolları içerisindeki sendikaların yöneticileri ve çalışanları ile gerçekleştirilmiş olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeden elde edilen veriler değerlendirilerek sendikal kriz algıları analiz edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda sendikaların bir örgütlenme krizi içerisinde olduğu, ancak bu krizin boyutunun kamudan özel sektöre doğru; özel sektörde de üretim sektöründeki işkollarından hizmet sektörü içindeki işkollarına doğru artış gösterdiği, ayrıca sendikaların gücünü belirleyen unsurun siyasal iktidarlarla kurulan ilişki olduğu anlaşılmıştır. The aim of this research is to find answers to the following questions; How do trade unions evaluate the post-1980 process? How did neoliberal policies affect trade unions? How do the transformations in working life give unions experience? What do they encounter in the organization process? How is the union crisis perceived by the trade unions? What do trade unions think about how to overcome the union crisis? What are the attitudes of trade unions in politics and relations with political parties? In this work, how the managers and employees of 17 labour unions, affiliated to the three labour unions confederations which is included Türk-İş, Hak-İş and DİSK, perceive the labour unions' crisis has been tried to understand by using semi-structured interview tecnıque.In the first part of the study, the Fordist and Post-Fordist periods of capitalism were discussed and how these periods shaped the labor processes. Then, the reflections of the neoliberal process, which can be called today as a type of capitalism, on the labor market are examined. In the second part, it was examined the effects of transformations in working life to organizational phases of labour unions and focused on how this process come true in Turkey. In the three sections of the study, the data obtained from the semi-structured interview with the managers and employees of the labour unions within the selected sectors were evaluated and the perceptions of the labour unions crisis were analyzed.As a result of this research, the labour unions are in an organizational crisis, but the level of this crisis increases from the public to the private sector; In the private sector, it is understood that there is an increase from the production sector towards the service sector and that the factor determining the power of the labour unions is the relationship with the political power. 149
