Background The severe trend of the aging population, the rapid increase in the prevalence of chronic diseases among older adults, and the greater prominence of multimorbidity have posed challenges to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases in China. Adverse health-related behaviors are modifiable risk factors for chronic diseases. Exploring the latent classes of health-related behaviors in older adults with multimorbidity and their associations with quality of life will help identify the characteristics of their health-related behaviors and uncover risk behaviors affecting the quality of life, providing references for precise health management to improve the quality of life of older adults. Objective To explore the latent classes of health-related behaviors in older adults with multimorbidity and the differences in the quality of life among the different classes. Methods Based on the baseline data from the Community Health and Behavior of the Elderly Panel Study (CHBEPS) conducted by our team in 2021, a total of 1 395 older adults aged 60 years and above with multimorbidity were included as study participants. A self-designed questionnaire was used to collect basic information, including disease status, smoking status, alcohol consumption, and dietary preferences of the participants. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short-Chinese Version (IPAQ-S-C), and Lubben Social Network Scale-6 (LSNS-6) were used to assess staying up late, physical activity, and social network of the participants, respectively. The EuroQol five-dimensional five-level questionnaire (EQ-5D-5L) was used to measure the quality of life of the participants. Latent class analysis of health-related behaviors among older adults with multimorbidity was conducted using Mplus 8.3 software. Based on the fitted model, the different latent classes of health-related behaviors among older adults with multimorbidity were used as groups, and the Kruskal-Wallis and Wilcoxon rank-sum tests were performed using SPSS 26.0 software to analyze the differences in quality of life among these groups. Results Four latent classes of health-related behaviors were identified among older adults with multimorbidity, which are named the health behavior group (n=280), risk behavior group (n=366), comprehensive behavior group (n=173), and adverse behavior group (n=576). A typical polyanionic based material Na3V2(PO4)2O2F (Na3VPO2F) attracts much interest as a cathode for large‐scale sodium‐ion batteries in consideration of its stable structure and remarkable energy density. Nevertheless, the large coulombic attraction and repulsion suffered by the mobile Na+ from structural anions and surrounding Na+, respectively, result in a torpid reaction kinetics and inferior rate capability. Herein, Br−‐doped and Na+ vacancy preinstalled Na3−yVPO2−xBrxF is prepared to dilute the charges on and inside the Na+ transportation tunnel. In virtue of density functional theory analysis, Na3−yVPO2−xBrxF reveals a reduction in the bandgap and an increase in electronic conductivity. Meanwhile, the almost electrostatically shielded tunnel in Na3−yVPO2−xBrxF alleviates the coulombic hindrance imposed on Na+ during its (de)intercalation, which demonstrates a Na+ diffusivity about five times higher than that of Na3VPO2F. Consequently, the Na3−yVPO2−xBrxF cathode shows a superior rate capacity of 77.7 mAh g−1 under 50 C and great cycling property corresponding to a high capacity retention of 94.4% over 800 cycles at 10 C. The assembled Na3−yVPO2−xBrxF//hard‐carbon sodium‐ion full‐cell presents excellent specific energy/power (226 Wh kg−1@15424.2 W kg−1) as well as outstanding long‐term cyclic stability over 1000 cycles at 5 C. In-plane micro-supercapacitors (MSCs) possess the capabilities of easy integration with planar circuits and feasible flexibility when they are used in flexible and wearable electronics. However, their unsatisfactory energy density limits their wide application. The Zn-ion hybrid supercapacitor is an ideal candidate as it assimilates the high energy-density of the zinc metal anode and high power-density of the pseudocapacitive material cathode. In view of the fact that multiple-metal MXenes could exhibit great potential compared to the single-metal MXenes in energy storage capability, here, Zn//V3CrC3Tx supercapacitors are fabricated. It is found that the partial replacement of Cr atoms for V atoms in V4C3Tx triggers an expansion of layer spacing of the MXene, the adsorption of Zn ions increases, and ion diffusion is promoted, which dramatically improve the capacitance, discharging potential, and cycle stability. Furthermore, in-plane Zn//V3CrC3Tx MSCs on paper demonstrate outstanding electrochemical properties and mechanical flexibility with an ultra-high area energy-density of 51.12 μW h cm−2, long cycle life of 20 000 cycles (84.5% capacitance retention), and outstanding bendability of 10 000 cycles (80.2% capacitance retention). The areal energy density and flexibility outperform most of the reported in-plane flexible MSCs. Previous literature has shown that chronic diseases and psychological distress are correlated. However, the mediating and moderating mechanisms underlying this relationship have not been sufficiently studied. The purpose of this study was to explore the role played by activities of daily living (ADL) and perceived social support. Face-to-face questionnaire-based surveys were conducted with 3250 valid participants (age ≥60 years). Participants were assessed using the Barthel Index, Perceived Social Support Scale, and Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21. 1) Chronic diseases had a significant direct effect on psychological distress in older adults; 2) the relationship between chronic diseases and psychological distress was partially mediated by ADL; and 3) the impact of chronic diseases on psychological distress was significantly moderated by perceived social support. More importantly, perceived social support was a protective factor that could effectively alleviate the adverse effects of chronic diseases on psychological distress. The results add to the existing literature by uncovering the underlying mechanisms between chronic diseases and mental health.
