Objective To investigate the risk factor of postoperative intestinal obstruction in elderly patients with colorectal cancer. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 300 elderly patients who underwent radical resection for colorectal cancer admitted to Jiangsu Cancer Hospital from January 2021 to February 2024. Patients were divided into an occurrence group (40 cases) and a non occurrence group (260 cases) based on whether intestinal obstruction occurred within 30 days after surgery. Clinical data were collected and compared between the two groups. Multivariate logistic regression analysis model was performed to identify risk factors for postoperative intestinal obstruction.
