This study was to develop and validate a quality of life scale for patients with CHD based on the Chinese context.Methods: The scale QLICD-CHD (V2.0) was developed based on the QLICD-CHD (V1.0), using a programmed decision procedures. Based on the data measuring QoL 3 times before and after treatments from 189 patients with CHD, the psychometric properties of the scale were evaluated with respect to validity, reliability and responsiveness employing correlation analysis, multi-trait scaling analysis, structural equation modeling, t-test and also G-study and D-study of generalizability theory analysis. The SF-36 scale was used as the criterion to evaluate the criterion-related validity. Paired t tests were conducted to evaluate the responsiveness on each domain/facet as well as the total of the scale, with Standardized Response Mean (SRM) being calculated.Results: The QLICD-CHD (V2.0) has been developed with 42 items in 4 domains. The Cronbach’s α of the general module, the specific module and the total scale were 0.91, 0.92 and 0.91 respectively. This paper focuses on identifying factors that affect HRQoL.Patients and Methods: Overall, 189 in-patients with coronary heart disease were investigated at the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University between 2015 and 2016. The scale Quality of Life Instruments for Chronic Diseases-Coronary heart disease (QLICD-CHD V2.0) was used to evaluate HRQoL and collect demographic information. Medical records were applied to collect patients’ clinical indicators. A simple correlation analysis, Student’s t-test, and a one-way analysis of variance were first performed to filter factors that might associate with HRQoL, and multiple linear regression was applied to finally identify related factors.Results: Findings from multiple linear regression showed that the total score was related to family economy, treatment, indirect bilirubin, and albumin with regression coefficient B=5.209, − 6.615, 0.378, and 0.548, respectively. 23. Association between hypomania and self-harm behaviors in Chinese children and adolescents with depressive symptoms

Abstract

Bipolar disorder (BD) is associated with a higher risk of self-harm (SH) when compared with depression. Therefore, it is reasonable to suspect that the state of mania or hypomania may independently contribute to increased SH risk. However, for hypomania, its association with SH remains less known. We intend to investigate this hypothesis in a large sample of Chinese children and adolescents with depressive symptoms. Based on a two-stage simple random cluster sampling method with probability proportionate to sample size (PPS) design, a total of 4,858 children and adolescents aged between 10 and 17 years were surveyed in southwestern China, Yunnan Province, by using self-administered questionnaires. Among them, 1,577 respondents with depressive symptoms were screened out and included in the final analysis. Descriptive statistics were calculated to illustrate the major characteristics of the study subjects. Multivariate logistic regression models were fitted to evaluate the adjusted association between hypomanic symptoms and SH. The prevalence of SH in children and adolescents with depressive symptoms was 63.92% (95% CI: 58.70–69.00%). The two hypomanic factors, which measure “active/elated” (factor I) and “risk-taking/irritable” (factor II), were significantly and discordantly associated with SH: after adjustment, every one-point increase in factor I and factor II scores was associated with 0.94-fold (95% CI: 0.91–0.97) and 1.25-fold (95% CI: 1.15–1.36) of odds ratio (OR) in SH prevalence. Further analyses based on quartiles of the two factors revealed a more prominent dose–response relationship between factor II and SH prevalence, SH repetition, and SH severity. The results of this study may suggest that, for hypomanic children and adolescents, individuals with elevated factor II score are probably of greater urgency for SH intervention. Major limitations of this study include inability of causal inference, risk of information bias, and limited results extrapolation.

Abstract

Although previous studies have discussed the association between mobile phone use addiction (MPUA) and depressive symptoms in adolescents, studies on Chinese adolescents are limited, with no studies being reported on adolescents from ethnic minority areas within Yunnan. This study aimed to explore the mediating mechanism of insomnia in the association between MPUA and depressive symptoms among Yunnan college students.A sample survey was conducted among 10,121 college students from four colleges in Yunnan province, China, from November to December 2021 via cluster sampling. Insomnia was assessed using the Insomnia Severity Index Scale, MPUA was assessed using the Self-Rating Questionnaire for Adolescent Problematic Mobile Phone Use, and depressive symptoms were assessed using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 items. A generalized linear model was used to analyze the association between MPUA, insomnia, and depressive symptoms. The structural equation model was used to analyze the mediating effect of insomnia.The positive rates of depressive symptoms, MPUA, and insomnia were 39.2 %, 30.8 %, and 22.3 %, respectively. After adjusting for the demographic and confounding variables, MPUA (β = 0.14, 95 % CI: 0.13-0.15, P 0.01) and insomnia (β = 0.44, 95 % CI: 0.43-0.46, P 0.01) were associated with depressive symptoms (P 0.05). The mediating effect of insomnia accounted for 34.7 % of the total effect in the mediating model of MPUA associated with depressive symptoms.Our findings suggest that insomnia partially mediates the association between MPUA and depressive symptoms among Yunnan college students.

Abstract

In this paper, the corresponding technological conditions for the introduction of high‐performance OLED material are studied. The introduction of new organic materials and the matching of the process were studied, mainly from the related factors affecting the life of OLED anode surface treatment, process vacuum, cleanliness and other aspects of the analysis. In this paper, different power and time of Plasma N2 and 02 treatment processes are verified. Finally, it is concluded that the introduction of new material systems requires lengthening plasma treatment time or increasing plasma power to achieve better lifetime performance. It is speculated that strengthening plasma treatment intensity can improve the oxygen concentration of ITO surface, reduce the carbon concentration of ITO surface, optimize the chemical composition of ITO surface and ITO surface morphology, reduce the driving voltage, improve the stability of the device, and effectively extend the life of OLED display module. Abstract

A series of M&z.sbnd;W&z.sbnd;Mn/SiO2 catalysts (M = Li, Na, K, Ba, Ca, Fe, Co, Ni, and Al) have been prepared and their catalytic performance for the oxidative coupling of methane (OCM) was evaluated in a continuous-flow microreactor. The structural properties of the catalysts have been studied using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), laser Raman spectroscopy (LRS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). In the trimetallic catalysts studied, there was evidence for WO4 tetrahedron on the surface in the Li&z.sbnd;, Na&z.sbnd;, and K&z.sbnd;W&z.sbnd;Mn/SiO2 catalysts, which is mainly present in the subsurface of the Ba&z.sbnd;W&z.sbnd;Mn/SiO2 catalyst. It appears that the WO4 has a strong interaction with the α-cristobalite support and is stabilized in the Na&z.sbnd; and K&z.sbnd;W&z.sbnd;Mn/SiO2 catalysts. However, the WO4 species appear to be less stable in Li&z.sbnd; or Ba&z.sbnd;W&z.sbnd;Mn/SiO2 catalysts, in which the support turns into quartz SiO2 or amorphous SiO2. The WO4 tetrahedron on the catalyst surface appears to play an essential role in achieving high CH4 conversion and high C2 hydrocarbon selectivity in the OCM reaction. Calculations suggest that the WO4 tetrahedron interacts with the CH4, giving suitable geometry and energy matching with CH4, and this may account for the high OCM activities.
