The hysteresis characteristics related to the frequency and amplitude of the control signal seriously affect the precision of the displacement tracking control of the macro-fiber composite (MFC) bimorph. The traditional feedforward compensator tends to exhibit low precision in controlling displacement. Although it enhances the control accuracy to a certain extent by incorporating a feedback controller, the existing feedback controller has a weak adaptive ability. Thus, the Q-learning (QL) algorithm is combined with the Bouc-Wen (BW) feedforward compensator in this study. The output voltage from the BW compensator has a more significant impact on the control accuracy and convergence speed of the QL algorithm. Therefore, this paper proposes an improved QL (IQL) algorithm that leverages the control error. Moreover, a BW-IQL adaptive control method is proposed to realize precise adaptive control of the MFC bimorph. Experimental comparisons are performed with the proposed method and the traditional BW, BW-PID, and BW-fuzzy PID controllers. The BW-IQL controller reduces the average relative errors of the three controllers by 86.9%, 59.9%, and 41.8%, respectively. Meanwhile, the Q̄ table plays a major role in error suppression in the IQL controller. These results verify that the BW-IQL control method has higher adaptability and accuracy. As automatic test technology advances, the number of programmable instruments in a single test system increases. Traditional wired communication methods have a limited range and involve complex cable layouts. Single-function wireless converters provide a viable alternative, but they have limitations. These include complicated configuration, issues with multi-system collaboration, and data blocking. This paper proposes a wireless ad hoc network platform for multi-bus instruments based on a low-cost ESP-12H WiFi module. The platform supports GPIB, RS232, RS485, and CAN bus interface instrument access. It features easy configuration, ad hoc networking, and self-repairing capabilities. A relay multi-hop network with a tree topology expands capacity and coverage. Additionally, a dynamic window-receiving mode and an improved multi-priority queue ensure data transmission integrity. The experimental results show that the platform's networking time is less than 10 s, and the coverage range reaches 50 m in complex indoor environments. It also shows good stability when running for a long time. However, due to hardware and software design limitations, the actual upload speeds fall short of the theoretical values. For example, RS232 and RS485 are about 10% slower than the theoretical values, and GPIB is about 80% slower. Further optimization is required in the future. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

To better address and improve the issues related to DC power quality, this paper proposes an identification method tailored for DC power quality disturbances. First, it explores the underlying mechanisms and waveform characteristics of common DC power disturbances. By integrating the results of time–frequency analysis obtained through the S-transform, five distinct features are designed and extracted to serve as classification indicators. The SABO algorithm is subsequently employed to optimize the BP neural network, assisting in determining the optimal input weights and hidden layer thresholds. This optimization technique helps prevent the network from becoming stuck in local minima, thereby enhancing its robustness and generalization capabilities. This paper presents a simulation system for AC/DC power systems to conduct experimental verification. The system simulates various DC power quality issues and monitors abnormal waveforms. According to the designated classification index, the features of simulated disturbance signals are extracted. The SABO-BP classification prediction model is then used to automatically classify and identify the samples. The experimental results demonstrate high accuracy in classification and identification using the proposed method. In comparison to the BP neural network method, the SABO-BP method demonstrates an 8.207% improvement in accurately identifying disturbance signals. A new parameter identification method of Duhem model based on antlion-fish swarm hybrid algorithm is proposed to characterize the rate-dependent hysteresis. The unknown piecewise functions in Duhem model is identified by a hybrid algorithm. Antlion optimization (ALO) algorithm and artificial fish (AF) swarm algorithm are switched in order of execution and their iterative data are fused to form the antlion-fish swarm hybrid algorithm. The comparison experiment shows the hybrid algorithm has the advantages of fast convergence and high precision. In order to compensate the rate-dependent hysteresis of PEA, a robust backstepping sliding mode feedback controller with feedforward inverse Duhem model compensator are designed. The comparative experimental results of displacement tracking show that this method has good tracking performance. The practicability and effectiveness of the method are verified. A dynamic generalized regression neural network model based on inverse Duhem operator is proposed to characterize the rate-dependent hysteresis in piezoelectric actuators. As hysteresis is multi-valued mapping, and traditional neural network can only model the system with one-to-one mapping. An inverse Duhem operator is proposed to extract the dynamic property of the hysteresis. Moreover, it can transform the multi-valued mapping of the hysteresis into a one-to-one mapping to suit the input of neural network. In order to compensate the effect of the hysteresis in piezoelectric actuator, the adaptive sliding mode controller with a feedforward hysteresis compensator is developed for the tracking control of the piezoelectric actuator.
