Objective To assess the effects of WeChat platform-based continuing care for arthritis on patients’ self-management, self-efficiency, quality of life (QoL), and medication compliance. Methods A study was conducted on arthritis patients recruited between December 2017 and February 2018 and divided into two groups. The intervention group received continuing care from the WeChat platform and regular follow-ups, while the control group only received regular follow-ups. The outcomes in both groups were assessed using questionnaires twice: before the study (T0) and eight weeks after T0 (T1), which consists of the evaluation of self-management, QoL, self-efficacy, and medication compliance. Results There were 23 people in each of the intervention and control groups completed two outcome measures. The prevalence of neurological dieases, including neurodegenerative, neurotraumatic disorders, and neuroinflammatory conditions, has been rising due to global population and aging demographics. A key factor in the pathogenesis of these disorders is the hyperaccumulation of reactive oxygen and nitrogen species (RONS). Nanozymes have emerged as promising candidates for neurotherapeutic applications owing to their exceptional catalytic activity and stability. Of particular note is their ability to cross the blood‐brain barrier and counteract the production of reactive oxygen species via their enzyme‐mimicking characteristics. In this review, the latest advancements and theoretical knowledge in this research domain are summarized. Using the inherent functionalities of the Web of Science and bibliometric methodologies, annual publication trends are identified and extensively explored the most researched topics and neurological disorders in this field. The antioxidant reduction chemistry of the nanozymes is discussed, highlighting their ability to mimic natural oxidoreductase activity and inhibit RONS production at the source. Moreover, this review delves into the current limitations and future prospects of these mechanisms in addressing neurological disorders. The significant benefits and recent developments in the use of RONS‐regulating nanozymes for the treatment of neurological diseases are emphasized, offering insights into their therapeutic applications and broader implications for neurology. The thyroid gland is the largest endocrine organ in the body, and when it behaves abnormally, patient health may suffer. The development of thyroid diagnostic techniques is reviewed considering direct and indirect techniques. Combining spectroscopic approaches with machine deep learning represents a promising diagnostic tool due to its low cost, speed, and good precision. The machine deep learning models for spectral profiling and the evaluation methods are used to test the performance on the bases of precision, sensitivity, specificity, subject operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and F1-score. In order to understand the drug resistance phenotype and genotype carried of Escherichia coli in healthy chickens from three villages in Zhaosu area, Yili, Xinjiang, and guide drug pertinently, 300 chicken anal swab samples were collected from Kemarkgar village, Sentas village and Uklegar village in Zhaosu, Yili and Escherichia coli was isolated and identified. The agar dilution method was used in order to check the drug resistance (MIC) of 9 antibiotics in 6 categories, and PCR was applied to test the corresponding drug resistance genes. The results showed that 289 strains were isolated from the 3 villages, which the separation rates of Sentas village, Kemagar village and Uklegar village were 100.0%, 97.0% and 93.8%. 289 strains of Escherichia coli had high resistance rates to ampicillin, florfenicol and tetracycline, which were 31.5%, 26.0% and 20.1%, respectively. The severity of drug resistance from high to low was Sentas village, Kemakgar village, Uklegar village. The drug resistance rates of Escherichia coli from chicken in Sentas village to ampicillin, cefazolin, florfenicol, enrofloxacin and colistin sulfate were 40.0%, 35.0%, 45.0%, 40.0% and 30.0%, respectively. The drug resistance rate of Escherichia coli from chicken in Uklegar village was the lowest, no more than 20.0%. The richness of drug resistance spectrum of Escherichia coli in different villages was different. Among them, the drug resistance spectrum of Escherichia coli from chicken in Kemakgar village was the most abundant, up to 32 species. Also, the drug resistance spectrums of other 2 villages were more than 10. Gene test results showed that 9 drug resistance genes were detected, of which the detection rates of floR, tet (A) and blaTEM genes were 25.6%, 18.0% and 18.0%, respectively. 9 kinds of drug resistance genes were detected in Escherichia coli from chicken in Kemakgar village, including blaTEM, blaCTX-M, floR, oqxA, oqxB, tet (A), tet (M), ant (3")-Ia, mcr-1; 6 kinds of drug resistance genes were detected in Escherichia coli from chicken in Uklegar Village, including blaTEM, blaCTX-M, floR, oqxA, oqxB, tet (A) ; however, only tet (A), floR, blaCTX-M and blaTEM were detected in Escherichia coli from chicken in Sentas village. To sum up, Escherichia coli from healthy chicken in Zhaosu, Yili, Xinjiang had the characteristics of high isolation rate, high drug resistance rate, rich drug resistance spectrum and low carrying rate of drug resistance genes. In order to master the drug resistance and drug resistance gene carried by Enterococcus faecalis from different animal sources in Zhaosu, Yili, Xinjiang, a total of 1 120 samples from cloacal swabs (chicken), nasal swabs and anal swabs (sheep, cattle) were collected from free-range farmers in Zhaosu, Yili, Xinjiang. Enterococcus faecalis was isolated from swabs. Drug susceptibility of Enterococcus faecalis were tested by agar dilution method, and the related resistance genes were detected by PCR method. The results showed a total of 263 strains of Enterococcus faecalis were isolated and identified with an isolation rate of 23.5%. The resistance of different animal-derived Enterococcus faecalis from high to low was sheep, chicken and cattle sources. The resistances of Enterococcus faecalis from sheep were more than 75.0% to erythromycin, tetracycline, florfenicol and doxycycline, which was significantly higher than chicken-derived and cattle-derived Enterococcus faecalis; the resistance rates of Enterococcus faecalis from chicken were 0-50.0%; the resistance rates of Enterococcus faecalis from cattle were lower than 21.1%; all Enterococcus faecalis were fully sensitive to ampicillin and vancomycin. The detection rates of efflux pump gene emeA in Enterococcus faecalis from different sources were all higher than 80.0%. The detection rates of ermB, fexA, optrA, tet (M) and aph (3') -III genes from sheep were more than 70.0%, which were basically the same as drug resistance situation. The genes of cfr, ermC and poxtA were not detected. Different animal-derived Enterococcus faecalis showed different degrees of resistance to antibiotics, and the drug-resistant genotypes were basically the same as the drug-resistant phenotype. It was recommended to strengthen the regular detection of drug resistance and drug resistance genes of animal-derived Enterococcus faecalis, and arranged rational drug administration for different animals according to the prevalence of drug resistance and drug resistance genes. Hydrogen sulfide (H2S) produced and metabolized by mitochondria is closely associated to human physiological function, but its mechanism is not fully revealed due to the difficulty in determining the dose of hydrogen sulfide. Therefore, fluorescent probes with both excellent mitochondrial targeting ability and rapid H2S detection are urgently needed. In this work, a novel fluorescent probe, TPAS-TN, was developed to detect H2S in mitochondria. TPAS-TN with a D–π–A structure had a large Stokes shift (213 nm), and possessed low background interference in cell imaging. By introducing a twisted triphenylamine group as the donor, TPAS-TN was endowed with AIE properties, and the positively charged pyridium unit was the acceptor, so that TPAS-TN exhibited good mitochondrial targeting ability and biocompatibility. Meanwhile, the π-bridge was composed of phenyl and dinitrophenyl (DNP) ether to make TPAS-TN exhibit "off–on" properties, low detection limit (69.5 nM), and high sensitivity and selectivity. Background: To measure total type 1 serum amino-terminal propeptide procollagen (t-P1NP), β- type 1 cross-linked C-terminal telopeptide collagen (β-CTX), N-terminal osteocalcin (OC), and 25-(OH)-VD3 levels before parathyroidectomy (PTX) in patients with PHPT, and correlate these measurements with bone mineral density (BMD) changes at 1-year post-PTX. Methods: Patients with primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) were followed from diagnosis to 12 months after surgery. Serum levels of calcium, parathyroid hormone (PTH), vitamin 25-(OH)-VD3, OC, β-CTX, t-P1NP, and BMD were measured before and 1 year after surgery. Results: One year after PTX, mean BMD increased by 25.7, 27.7, and 33.5% in the lumbar spine (L1-L4), femoral neck (FN), and greater trochanter (GT), respectively. Percent BMD change 1-year post-PTX was significant correlated with preoperative levels of β-CTX (L1-L4: r = 0.41, P < 0.0001; FN: r = 0.54, P = 0.0003; GT: r = 0.46, P = 0.0029), t-P1NP (L1-L4: r = 0.58, P < 0.0001; FN: r = 0.73, P < 0.0001; GT: r = 0.65, P < 0.0001), 25-(OH)-VD3 (L1-L4: r = −0.33, P = 0.034; FN: r = −0.48, P = 0.002; GT: r = −0.52, P = 0.0007), and OC (L1-L4: r = 0.49, P = 0.0013; FN: r = 0.55, P = 0.0002; GT: r = 0.47, P = 0.002).
