In this work, we designed a novel polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)@DNA solid polymer electrolyte, wherein DNA, as a plasticizer-like additive, reduced the crystallinity of the solid polymer electrolyte and improved its ionic conductivity. At the same time, due to its Lewis acid effect, DNA promotes the dissociation of lithium salts when interacting with lithium salt anions and can also fix the anions, creating more free lithium ions in the electrolyte and thus improving its ionic conductivity. However, owing to hydrogen bonding between DNA and PVDF, excess DNA occupies the lone pairs of electrons of the fluorine atoms on the PVDF molecular chains, affecting the conduction of lithium ions and the conductivity of the solid electrolyte. Hence, in this study, we investigated the effects of adding different DNA amounts to solid polymer electrolytes. The results show that 1% DNA addition resulted in the best improvement in the electrochemical performance of the electrolyte, demonstrating a high ionic conductivity of 3.74 × 10−5 S/cm (25 °C). The initial capacity reached 120 mAh/g; moreover, after 500 cycles, the all-solid-state batteries exhibited a capacity retention of approximately 71%, showing an outstanding cycling performance.

In order to develop a special data processing system, the application of new technology and new technology management should be combined, so as to improve and perfect the supervision of data processing, to greatly improve the supervision ability, to safeguard the safety requirements of regulatory information and to promote the development of new audio-visual media supervision business. In this paper, according to the form of current regulatory business, the new data processing system of audio-visual new media which integrates data processing, reporting and storage was established, and the system architecture and functions of each module were described in detail. Audio-visual new media has become an important way for modern people to receive information, leisure and entertainment. Its appearance not only broke the boundaries between the original media, greatly expanded the autonomy and expression of netizens, but also challenged the traditional management system, and also played a role in promoting the reform of the media. The United States also has a balance problem between marketization and the management of the audiovisual new media industry. This dynamic balance is maintained through the coordination of different methods such as industrial management, enterprise operation, pressure groups, and industry association regulations. When the media industry as an interest group exerts its social influence, it is necessary to grasp the principle of "degree". In a relatively perfect market economy environment, how to determine the boundary of enterprise-level integration cannot be accurately grasped only by the enterprise itself. Therefore, in this respect, the market is not omnipotent, for which the intervention of government management becomes necessary.

Observations of the seafloor Rayleigh ellipticity contribute to seismic imaging in the ocean. To extract such observables from the arbitrarily oriented ocean–bottom seismometer (OBS) data, we develop an orthogonal-regression-based approach to measure the waveform amplitude ratios of the unoriented horizontal and vertical components. The amplitude ratios are then used to calculate the Rayleigh ellipticity (and the sensor orientation angle). The robustness of our method is verified by applications to both the unoriented OBS data and the well oriented on-land seismic data. As we propose to calculate the Rayleigh ellipticity directly from the unoriented three-component data, the measurement process avoids the complexity arising from the surface wave non-great-circle effects and uncertainties of the OBS sensor orientation angles. Overall the Rayleigh ellipticity measurements from our method are systematically higher than those by conventional analysis and show less uncertainties. Our analyses suggest that the Rayleigh ellipticity curve (14–60 s), which could be retrieved from the raw broad-band OBS data, is effective to constrain the oceanic lithosphere structure, and the accurate measurement of Rayleigh ellipticity curve is important. The potential of seafloor Rayleigh ellipticity for seismic imaging in the ocean is evidenced by a case study of the Japan Basin, the Sea of Japan. Considering the insufficient station coverage in the ocean, the single-station measurement of seafloor Rayleigh ellipticity is of significance for OBS community. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aromatic compounds of twenty crude oil samples from different formations in the East Fukang Sag were studied by the gas chromatography–mass spectrometry technique. Through analysis of the composition of the main aromatic hydrocarbons, the studied crude oil samples were generally divided into two types: Oil type I had the relatively high content of the naphthalene series, biphenyl series and dibenzofuran series, while the samples from Oil type II contained relatively high abundance of phenanthrene series, fluorene series, triaromatic steroid series, and obvious methyltrimethyltridecylchromans. The geochemical parameters reflecting the source and sedimentary environment in naphthalene series, phenanthrene series, biphenyl series, three-fluorene series, and triaromatic steroid series were systematically analyzed. Analysis of the results showed that studied oil samples from the East Fukang Sag were of continental origin and deposited in a weakly oxidizing to weakly reducing environment with fresh-brackish water. Oil type I was characterized by considerably abundant terrestrial higher plant organic matter inputs, while Oil type II was typical with obviously lower aquatic organisms. Maturity-related parameters calculated from alkyl naphthalenes, alkyl phenanthrenes, alkyl dibenzothiophenes, and methyltrimethyltridecylchromans showed that all the studied oil samples have reached the mature stage.

In order to have a deeper insight into the accumulation mechanism of ultra-deep hydrocarbons, in this paper, the recently discovered ultra-deep Ordovician light oil and gas deposits (>7200 m) in the Shunbei No. 1 fracture zone are studied intensively, including maturity, source kitchens, the extent of secondary alterations, and possible migration directions, based on an analysis of the molecular compositions and stable carbon isotopes of crude oils and natural gases. The average equivalent vitrinite reflectance (Rc) of these oils, estimated from light hydrocarbons (H versus I), MDI, DNR, and MDR, are about 1.50%, 1.58%, 1.48%, and 1.51%, respectively, which suggests that most of the oils are in the late stages of crossing the oil window. The two maturity grades (1.06–1.25% and 1.36–1.67%) of the oil samples calculated from the aromatic compounds indicate the presence of at least two stages of hydrocarbon charge. In addition, the positive correlation plot of DNR and MDR (y = 3.59x − 12.84; R2 = 0.96) indicates that oils in the southwestern region of the F1 (S1-11–S1-16) are slightly more mature than oils in the northeastern region of the F1 and the well at SL1, far from the No. 1 main fault zone. In addition, the study shows that these hydrocarbons belong to the same source kitchen of a reduced marine sedimentary environment with mixed organic matter comprising benthic and planktonic algae, based on biomarker parameters, light hydrocarbons, and carbon isotope compositions. The oil–oil correlation analyses suggest that the studied oil samples are probably derived from the in situ Lower Cambrian Yuertusi formation source rocks. Various geochemical parameters consistently show limited significant hydrocarbon alteration processes, indicating favorable preservation conditions in the study area. The integrated geochemical characteristics of the hydrocarbons allow us to infer that they mainly migrate vertically from the in situ Lower Cambrian Yuertusi formation source rocks toward the Ordovician reservoirs, followed by a certain degree of lateral migration from southwest to northeast.

Background: The heightened risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events is associated with the increased instability of atherosclerotic plaques. However, the lack of effective diagnostic biomarkers has impeded the assessment of plaque instability currently. This study was aimed to investigate and identify hub genes associated with unstable plaques through the integration of various bioinformatics tools, providing novel insights into the detection and treatment of this condition. Methods: Weighted Gene Co-expression Network Analysis (WGCNA) combined with two machine learning methods were used to identify hub genes strongly associated with plaque instability. The cell-type identification by estimating relative subsets of RNA transcripts (CIBERSORT) method was utilized to assess immune cell infiltration patterns in atherosclerosis patients. Additionally, Gene Set Variation Analysis (GSVA) was conducted to investigate the potential biological functions, pathways, and mechanisms of hub genes associated with unstable plaques. To further validate the diagnostic efficiency and expression of the hub genes, immunohistochemistry (IHC), quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were performed on collected human carotid plaque and blood samples. Immunofluorescence co-staining was also utilized to confirm the association between hub genes and immune cells, as well as their colocalization with mitochondria. Results: The CIBERSORT analysis demonstrated a significant decrease in the infiltration of CD8 T cells and an obvious increase in the infiltration of M0 macrophages in patients with atherosclerosis. Subsequently, two highly relevant modules (blue and green) strongly associated with atherosclerotic plaque instability were identified. Through intersection with mitochondria-related genes, 50 crucial genes were identified. Further analysis employing least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) logistic regression and support vector machine recursive feature elimination (SVM-RFE) algorithms revealed six hub genes significantly associated with plaque instability. Among them, NT5DC3, ACADL, SLC25A4, ALDH1B1, and MAOB exhibited positive correlations with CD8 T cells and negative correlations with M0 macrophages, while kynurenine 3-monooxygenas (KMO) demonstrated a positive correlation with M0 macrophages and a negative correlation with CD8 T cells. IHC and RT-qPCR analyses of human carotid plaque samples, as well as ELISA analyses of blood samples, revealed significant upregulation of KMO and MAOB expression, along with decreased ALDH1B1 expression, in both stable and unstable samples compared to the control samples. However, among the three key genes mentioned above, only KMO showed a significant increase in expression in unstable plaque samples compared to stable plaque samples. Furthermore, the expression patterns of KMO in human carotid unstable plaque tissues and cultured mouse macrophage cell lines were assessed using immunofluorescence co-staining techniques. Finally, lentivirus-mediated KMO silencing was successfully transduced into the aortas of high-fat-fed ApoE-/- mice, with results indicating that KMO silencing attenuated plaque formation and promoted plaque stability in ApoE-/- mice. Conclusions: The results suggest that KMO, a mitochondria-targeted gene associated with macrophage cells, holds promise as a valuable diagnostic biomarker for assessing the instability of atherosclerotic plaques. Objective To explore the osteogenic activity of polyetheretherketone/58S bioactive glasses (PEEK/58S) as a kind of bone implant. Methods MG-63 osteoblasts were cultured on PEEK and PEEK/58S surfaces for predetermined time. Then MG-63 osteoblast attachment and spreading condition were observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The proliferation activity of MG-63 osteoblast was evaluated by CCK-8 (cell counting kit). Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity was measured to determine the osteogenic differentiation of MG-63 osteoblast. The mRNA expression levels of osteogenesis-related genes ALP, BMP-2, COL-I, OCN and OPN were detected using real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR. Osseointegration of PEEK and PEEK/58S bone implant was evaluated by histological analysis and biomechanical pull-out tests after implantation in a rat tibia model for 12 weeks. Results Compared with the PEEK, the adhesion and spreading of MG-63 osteoblast was more favorable. The proliferation activity and ALP activity of MG-63 osteoblast was significantly promoted (P＜0.05). Also, the mRNA expression of ALP, BMP-2, COL-I, OCN and OPN was significantly up-regulated (P＜0.05). In vivo experiments showed that PEEK/58S exhibited better osseointegration than pure PEEK. Conclusions PEEK/58S bone implant significantly improves the attachment, spreading, proliferation and differentiation of osteoblast and enhances the peri-implant osseointegration, so it is a potential novel orthopedic material for clinical use.

Deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus (STN) is a therapeutic option for patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) in whom medical therapies have been ineffective. This retrospective cohort study analyzed the motor function of 27 patients with advanced PD, from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, China, who received deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus and evaluated its therapeutic effects. The 10-year follow-up data of patients was analyzed in Qingyuan People’s Hospital, Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, China. The follow-up data were divided into two categories based on patients during levodopa treatment (on-medication) and without levodopa treatment (off-medication). Compared with baseline, the motor function of on-medication PD patients improved after deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus. Even 2 years later, the motor function of off-medication PD patients had improved. On-medication PD patients exhibited better therapeutic effects over the 5 years than off-medication PD patients. On-medication patients’ akinesia, speech, postural stability, gait, and cognitive function worsened only after 5 years. These results suggest that the motor function of patients with advanced PD benefitted from treatment with deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus over a period up to 5 years. The overall therapeutic effects were more pronounced when levodopa treatment was combined with deep brain stimulation of the bilateral subthalamic nucleus. Various studies have shown that geo-catalytically mediated methanogenesis could happen in immature to early-mature source rocks at temperatures ranging from 60 to 140°C based on a series of long-term laboratory heating experimental evidences. The results of those studies show that methane yields at the given temperature are 5–11 orders of magnitude higher than the theoretically predicted yields from early thermogenic methane generation kinetic models. However, different types of source rocks in these laboratory simulation experiments generated varied CH4 and CO2 yields, which suggest that controls on CH4 generation during catalytic methanogenesis are complex. This study summarizes and compares gas yield results from laboratory low-temperature heating simulation experiments. Pre-existing trapped methane in rock chips could mimic newly generated gas during heating. The yields of catalytically generated CH4 from individual source rocks were re-quantified by subtracting the amounts of pre-existing CH4 in the closed pores of the original source rocks from the total methane amounts released from heating experiments and pre-existing CH4 in the closed pores in heated source rocks. The results show that heating temperature and time exert a positive influence on methane catalytic methanogenesis. Mowry and Second White Specks Formation Shale generated approximately ten times more CH4 than New Albany Shale and Mahogany Shale per gram of total organic carbon (TOC). Samples of Springfield Coal #1 and #2 exhibited ten times yield difference from one another at the same heating temperature. Those yield differences are not strongly associated with TOC content, heating time, temperature, metal content, or kerogen type but appear to be more influenced by maceral composition and also maceral–mineral contact area within the source rocks. We conclude that macerals in the liptinite group have a propensity for methanogenesis. Specifically, amorphous organic matter undergoes transformation into hydrocarbons earlier than alginite at low-temperature heating conditions. Sporinite also contributes to higher yields of methane released from the coal source rock. Vitrinite and inertinite show a positive influence on carbon dioxide but no significant effect on increasing methane yields compared to other macerals. The strongest catalytic methanogenesis in the studied sample produced methane yields at 60°C, which amounted to ∼2.5 μmol per gram of organic carbon during one year of heating. We suggest that geocatalytic methanogenesis could generate economically sizeable gas plays from immature to early-mature source rocks over geologic time.
