To promote adolescents to feel more satisfied with their lives, it is important to identify the factors influencing life satisfaction and to further investigate the inner mechanisms. The purpose of this research was to examine whether parenting practices were closely associated with life satisfaction among Chinese adolescents and whether these associations were mediated by adolescents’ resilience.Methods: In this one-year interval longitudinal study, 353 students (50.7% girls) in Grade 7 and Grade 10 were recruited as participants. At the first wave of assessment, they reported parenting practices and resilience; at the second wave of assessment, they rated the level of life satisfaction.Results: The results of this study revealed that parental responsiveness, demandingness, and autonomy granting promoted adolescents’ life satisfaction. Additionally, parental responsiveness and demandingness positively predicted adolescents’ life satisfaction through the mediating effect of adolescents’ resilience; however, resilience did not significantly mediate the relation between autonomy granting and adolescents’ life satisfaction.Conclusion: Adolescents’ resilience plays a mediating role in the relations between parental responsiveness and demandingness and adolescents’ life satisfaction. The present study highlights the significance of providing adolescents with positive parenting practices and promoting adolescents’ development of resilience to elevate their life satisfaction.Keywords: adolescent, parenting practice, resilience, life satisfaction

In order to solve the defect that the threshold value of the NSCT transform method is too large or the real signal coefficients are directly lost during image denoising, an adaptive threshold method of genetic algorithm is used to optimize the NSCT image denoising method. The genetic algorithm is used to generate the initial population, and the genetic operator is determined by selection, crossover, and mutation operations to achieve NSCT threshold optimization. The obtained optimized NSCT threshold is used to process different directions. The coefficients of different scales are processed by using NSCT inverse transform to obtain the denoised image. The results of the case analysis show that the proposed method is used to denoise the image, the peak signal-to-noise ratio of the image after denoising is higher than 30 dB, the image contains rich edge information and detailed information, and the denoising performance is superior.

However, relatively few studies have examined this relationship in the Chinese cultural context or explored the potential mechanisms underlying this relationship. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate whether family communication quality is closely linked to Chinese adolescents’ life satisfaction and whether this link was mediated by autonomy and future orientation.Methods: This study recruited 442 Chinese college students (67.19% girls) as participants. Based on a longitudinal design, the participants reported family communication quality at Time 1 and reported autonomy, future orientation, and life satisfaction at Time 2.Results: The results of correlation analysis showed the existence of a positive correlation between family communication quality, autonomy, future orientation, and life satisfaction. The mediation models showed family communication quality predicted adolescents’ life satisfaction through the mediating effects of autonomy and future orientation. Furthermore, autonomy and future orientation not only independently mediated the relationship between family communication quality and life satisfaction but sequentially mediated this relationship.Conclusion: Autonomy and future orientation mediated the relationship between family communication quality and life satisfaction. The findings of the present study highlight the significance of elevating family communication quality and promoting adolescents’ development of autonomy and future orientation to enhance their life satisfaction.Keywords: family communication, life satisfaction, autonomy, future orientation, adolescence

Due to the gradual improvement of living standards in recent years and the continuous improvement of China’s health care awareness, the aesthetic medicine model has gradually changed from the treatment mode of disease treatment to the prevention mode of early detection and early treatment. Meanwhile, wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are gradually infiltrating into the medical field due to their low power consumption, small size, wireless transmission, and portability which complies with the needs of the development of medical models. Therefore, this paper studies and implements a beauty medical health monitoring system based on WSN and ZigBee short-range wireless transmission protocol; moreover, wireless power transfer (WPT) technology is used for charging sensors. Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility that the maximum power levels converted in sensors by the WPT for different ISM bands can meet the average power consumption expected in the range of 200–500 μW. And the designed system can provide an important practical reference for promoting the informationization of telemedicine and the development of beauty medical systems in China.

This study examined possible changes in the functions of parenting practices across different historical time points in terms of the effects of parenting practices on adolescents' academic adjustment and their indirect effects via family obligation values. This study used a time-lagged design that recruited Chinese high school students in 2010 (N = 1,040) and 2018 (N = 1,302). Structured equation modeling revealed the total effects of acceptance/involvement and strictness/supervision on academic adjustment and their indirect effects through family obligation values were positive and statistically equivalent across cohorts. However, the indirect effect of psychological autonomy granting on academic adjustment through family obligation values was negative in 2010 (in rural) but was not statistically significant in 2018 (urban and rural). These findings indicate that along with the sociodemographic change toward Gesellschaft (e.g., more urbanized, wealthier, higher level of education), psychological autonomy granting tends to exert less negative influence on adolescents' adjustment in the later cohort.

Three tetraphenylethylene-based fluorescent single crystals (TPE-AA-1, 2, 3) were formed from different solvents. Three different self-assembly modes were adopted due to the solvent effect. One HOFs (hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks) structure with characteristic porosity was obtained from acetonitrile/acetic acid as solvents. TPE-AA-3 show the best detection performance for nitro explosives.

Natural language processing is mainly divided into two parts: speech processing and word processing. The level of word processing is mainly studied. Natural language processing is divided into lexical analysis, syntax analysis and semantic analysis. Aiming at the scope of the language ambiguity and thesaurus in the field of smart home, the maximal matching algorithm is used to segment the natural language. Then, through the way of template matching, semantic comprehension finally forms the code form that can control the home node. In the system applied in this paper, the speech is processed into words through the existing voice input function of the mobile terminal. Then, the control instruction is obtained through the language processing method. The processed data is communicated to the server via socket. The server sends the data to the home node through the Zigbee protocol. Finally, control of home appliances is achieved.

Tetraphenylethene (TPE) and pyrene as typical aggregation induced emission (AIE) and aggregation caused emission quenching (ACQ) functional groups were utilized to design and synthesize water-soluble fluorescent molecules. Through a self-assembly process with cucurbituril hosts, a completed opposite fluorescence response was observed for TPE and pyrene based fluorescent molecules. The assembly processes were verified by 1H NMR, UV–Vis, fluorescence spectroscopy. The mechanism was then studied and the aggregation-induced fluorescence change was concluded. These new host-guest supramolecular fluorescence systems can be used as fluorescence sensors or switches, expanding the application of fluorescence systems in biological imaging.

The use of modern science and technology related to teaching equipment has created a new mode of English reading, and the network environment has opened a new world for English reading. In this paper, the advantages, feasibility, operation and current problems of computer network assisted teaching of English reading are analyzed and discussed.
