Objective To investigate the effect of PDCA cycle method in reducing the rate of hemolysis in venous blood samples. Methods The PDCA cycle method was used to implement the standardized procedure of venous blood sampling, and the hemolysis rate of venous blood samples from inpatients and outpatients in the same period of 2020 and 2021 was compared and analyzed. Results The rates of hemolysis in venous blood specimen of hospitalized patients and outpatients after implementation of PDCA cycle (in 2021) were significantly lower than those before PDCA cycle (in 2020) , respectively(5. 40% vs. 2. 42%, P＜0. 01; 7. 01%vs. 5. 09%, P＜0. 01). Conclusion The application of PDCA cycle method is effective to reduce the rate of hemolysis in venous blood specimen. In this paper, we introduce the addition and g-difference of continuous Z-numbers at first. Then, we define a new partial order to rank the Z-numbers with generalized centroids. The g-derivative of Z-number function based on g-difference is proposed. It is well known that convexity plays a vital role in optimization problems; consequently, we present the convexity of Z-number function. Furthermore, we provide the optimality conditions for optimization problems based on Z-numbers. Finally, the validity of the discussion is illustrated by an example. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A total of eight possible isomers of C50O, an oxide of fullerene C50 (D5h), have been investigated by B3LYP/3‐21G calculations. The isomer, which has an annulene‐like structure with oxygen bridging across a [5,6] type C—C bond at the site between the pole and the equatorial belt, is found being the ground state of C50O. Four isomers are relatively more stable and the energy differences between them are not large. This result indicates that more than one C50O isomer will coexist once C50O is synthesized. The relative stabilities of the C50O isomers may be determined mainly by the strain release and by the formation of the cyclic phenylene substructure at the equatorial belt of the cage. The calculated nucleus independent chemical shifts (NICS) of the C50O isomers will be useful because from them one can expect outstanding NMR properties that can lead to their identification and characterization. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A systematic investigation on all possible substituted fullerene isomers of C48B2 and C48N2 has been performed using the semiempirical methods AM1 and MNDO. The equilibrium geometrical structures, heats of formation, strain, aromaticity, HOMO–LUMO energy gaps, ionization potentials, electronic affinities, the absolute hardness and electronegativity have been studied. The results indicate that the isomer-78, which corresponds to 1,4-substitution in the six-membered ring located on the equator, is the most stable isomer for both C48B2 and C48N2. The driving force governing the stabilities of the present studied C48X2 (X=B, N) isomers is the strain being inherent in the C50 cage. The contribution of the conjugation effect to the stabilization is not able to compete with that of the strain. From an application of the HSAB principle, the absolute hardness of the more stable isomers of both C48B2 and C48N2 are larger than that of C50, and the direction of electron flow for forming a complex among them may be C48N2→C50→C48B2 according to the calculated absolute electronegativity. The more stable C48X2 isomers have larger ionization potentials and smaller electronic affinities compared with C50, which suggests that it is more difficult to oxidize and reduce C48X2, i.e., the redox characteristics of C50 can be weakened by doping. The vibrational spectra and electronic absorption spectra of these substituted fullerenes have been calculated, which could serve as a framework to interpret future experimental results. The computed nucleus independent chemical shifts (NICS) values also provide a basis for the possible characterization of these C48X2 isomers. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: HfAl2O5 dielectric film with an O-gettering Ti-capping layer was treated with rapid thermal annealing process and its interfacial structure and surface morphology were reported. X-ray reflectivity measurements and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicated that the interfacial layers were composed of a 0.5 nm HfAlSiO layer and a 1.5 nm Si x (SiO2)1− x (x <1) layer for the as-deposited film. However, for the annealed film, HfAlSiO layer was not found and the 1.5 nm Si x (SiO2)1− x transformed to a 1 nm SiO2. Atom force microscopy showed that a Ti-capping layer did not affect surface roughness. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

Abstract: The geometries and stabilities of mono-BN doped (5,5) armchair single-walled carbon nanotube (ASWCNT) isomers for a smaller C50H20 model are first investigated by both AM1 and HF/4-31G methods. The calculations suggest that both the two methods obtain similar results, demonstrating that the AM1 method is reliable in calculating the properties of BN-doped ASWCNT isomers. Then, the equilibrium structures and relative stabilities of the mono-, di-, and tri-BN doped isomers for a larger (5,5) ASWCNT model (C110H20) are further studied based on AM1 level. For mono-BN doped ASWCNT, the thermodynamic stabilities of its isomers in general decrease with the separation between two heteroatoms, and the isomer with two neighbored B and N atoms is the most stable one. For di- or tri-BN doped ASWCNT isomers, the N–N and B–B bonds should be avoided and the isomer with a B–N–B–N or B–N–B–N–B–N chain in same hexagon is the most stable one. The BN-doping generally enhances the redox and electron excitation properties of BN-doped ASWCNT isomers compared with their host tube, and their stabilities increase with their diameter enlargement on the whole.
