In this paper, a fast fault detection scheme is developed for a class of nonlinear interconnected systems with output measurements. First, through combining an adaptive high gain observer with the deterministic learning theory, the system states and unknown dynamics are estimated simultaneously. However, large value of gain may let the estimator becomes noise sensitive. Thus, the observer structure is modified to avoid this issue. Second, by reusing the estimated knowledge which is stored in the constant radial basis function (RBF) neural networks, a bank of dynamic estimators are constructed. Then, the average L 1 norms of residuals are generated. The smallest residual principle is considered for decision-making in the detection phase. Third, the fault detection conditions and detection time are analyzed under the influence of observer gain. A simulation example is utilized to illustrate the effectiveness of this scheme. This paper investigates the stabilization of uncertain networked control systems (NCSs) with actuator saturation and cyberattacks. The cyberattacks are governed by a set of independent random variables satisfying Bernoulli distribution. To relieve the network bandwidth load effectively, an event‐triggered communication strategy is proposed. By employing Lyapunov stability theory and stochastic analysis techniques, a stability criterion is obtained for the system with actuator saturation and cyberattacks. Moreover, the desired controller gain is derived by solving some matrix inequalities. Finally, the validity and applicability of the criteria are verified through numerical examples. In this article, a novel sampled-data control method is proposed for direct current to direct current converter. According to its switching property, the direct current to direct current converter is described as a switched affine system. A novel error tracking switching law is designed based on the multi-Lyapunov functions method and sampled-data control strategy with variant sampling intervals. The sufficient condition concerning the state of the constructed switched affine system converging to a finite region is developed, which guarantees the outcome voltage can approach the desired value and achieve the voltage adjustment. Based on it, the condition under uncertain parameters is developed as well, which would be more desirable in applications. The pth moment stability of stochastic Markov jump systems (SMJSs) with time-delays and polynomial growth was investigated in this paper. Both the involved time-delays and polynomial growth are mode dependent. By using the new property of the polynomial as well as the relation between the time-delay and the generator of the Markov-chain, sufficient pth moment stability criteria are proposed. Meanwhile, the robustness of the stable SMJSs is also considered, which reveals that how much perturbation the stable SMJSs can tolerate. As an application, the consensus of stochastic multi-agent systems with nonlinear dynamics is investigated. Finally, the effectiveness of our results is illustrated by examples. The aim of this work is to investigate the exponential mean‐square stability for neutral stochastic differential equations with time‐varying delay and Poisson jumps. When all the drift, diffusion, and jumps coefficients are allowed to be nonlinear, the exponential mean‐square stability of the analytic solution to the equation is obtained. It is revealed that the implicit backward Euler–Maruyama numerical solution can reproduce the corresponding stability of the analytic solution under some given nonlinear conditions. It is different from the explicit Euler–Maruyama numerical solution whose stability depends on the linear growth condition. With some requirements related to the delayed function and the property of compensated Poisson process, we deal with time‐varying delay and Poisson jumps. Summary: In this article, the problem of robust finite‐time H∞ synchronization control is investigated for a class of uncertain discrete‐time master‐slave systems with Markovian switching parameters in the observer‐based case. Parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm‐bounded, and the polyhedral character is utilized to describe the transition probabilities of nonhomogeneous Markov chain. By using stochastic Lyapunov function method and finite‐time analysis techniques, novel sufficient conditions that include the master‐slave parameters are obtained for designing an observer‐based finite‐time H∞ synchronization control law in terms of linear matrix inequalities. This paper deals with the leader‐following consensus for nonlinear stochastic multi‐agent systems. To save communication resources, a new centralized/distributed hybrid event‐triggered mechanism (HETM) is proposed for nonlinear multi‐agent systems. HETMs can be regarded as a synthesis of continuous event‐triggered mechanism and time‐driven mechanism, which can effectively avoid Zeno behavior. To model the multi‐agent systems under centralized HETM, the switched system method is applied. By utilizing the property of communication topology, low‐dimensional consensus conditions are obtained. For the distributed hybrid event‐triggered mechanism, due to the asynchronous event‐triggered instants, the time‐varying system method is applied. Meanwhile, the effect of network‐induced time‐delay on the consensus is also considered. To further reduce the computational resources by constantly testing whether the broadcast condition has been violated, self‐triggered implementations of the proposed event‐triggered communication protocols are also derived.
