Hybridized local and charge‐transfer (HLCT) with the utilization of both singlet and triplet excitons through the “hot excitons” channel have great application potential in highly efficient blue organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs). The proportion of charge‐transfer (CT) and locally excited (LE) components in the relevant singlet and triplet states makes a big difference for the high‐lying reverse intersystem crossing process. Herein, three novel donor (D)‐acceptor (A) type HLCT materials, 7‐([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl(9,9‐dimethyl‐9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)amino)‐3‐phenyl‐1H‐isochromen‐1‐one (pPh‐7P), 7‐([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl(9,9‐dimethyl‐9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)amino)‐3‐methyl‐1H‐isochromen‐1‐one (pPh‐7M), and 6‐([1,1′‐biphenyl]‐4‐yl(9,9‐dimethyl‐9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)amino)‐3‐methyl‐1H‐isochromen‐1‐one (pPh‐6M), were rationally designed and synthesized with diphenylamine derivative as donor and oxygen heterocyclic coumarin moiety as acceptors. The proportions of CT and LE components were fine controlled by changing the connection site of diphenylamine derivative at C6/C7‐position and the substituent at C3‐position of coumarin moiety. The HLCT characteristics of pPh‐7P, pPh‐7M, and pPh‐6M were systematically demonstrated through photophysical properties and density functional theory calculations. The solution‐processed doped OLEDs based on pPh‐6M exhibited deep‐blue electroluminescence with the maximum emission wavelength of 446 nm, maximum luminance of 8755 cd m−2, maximum current efficiency of 5.83 cd A−1, and maximum external quantum efficiency of 6.54 %. To support more complex and robust online services, enterprise-class applications prefer to interconnect multiple servers as the pedestal to enhance the system's interoperability. However, the multiserver architecture always struggles to reconcile the trade-off between convenience and security, leaving users exposed to a variety of network attack threats. Existing security authentication schemes based on the Chebyshev Chaotic Map for multiserver architectures cannot provide three-factor (including password, biometric feature, and smart card) security. Therefore, we propose a novel Physical-Unclonable-Function-based Lightweight Three-Factor Authentication (PUF-LTA) scheme, which can achieve three-factor security. The PUF-LTA scheme mainly includes two components: (1) PUF-assisted registration and (2) lightweight mutual authentication with one-time interaction. During the PUF-assisted registration process, to defend against side-channel attacks on smart cards, the login credentials of users are XORed with the unique identifier generated by the PUF so that the adversary cannot obtain these secret login credentials. During the lightweight mutual authentication process, we combine the Chebyshev polynomial map and symmetric encryption/decryption to negotiate the session key between users and servers, which only needs one interaction. The security performance of PUF-LTA is theoretically proved by leveraging the random oracle model. In contrast with relevant multiserver authentication schemes, PUF-LTA is more efficient and suitable for resource-constrained multiserver environments because it can ensure secure three-factor authentication and support flexible biometrics and password updates with less computation cost. Over the past few decades, recombinant expression and production of various fibrous proteins from microbes have been demonstrated; however, the resulting proteins typically must then be purified and processed by humans to form usable fibers and materials. Here, we show that the Gram‐positive bacterium Bacillus subtilis can be programmed to secrete silk through its translocon via an orthogonal signal peptide/peptidase pair. Surprisingly, we discover that this translocation mechanism drives the silk proteins to assemble into fibers spontaneously on the cell surface, in a process we call secretion‐catalyzed assembly (SCA). Secreted silk fibers form self‐healing hydrogels with minimal processing. Alternatively, the fibers retained on the membrane provide a facile route to create engineered living materials from Bacillus cells. This paper presents a novel and fast EMD-based (empirical mode decomposition-based) image fusion approach via morphological filter. Firstly, we develop a multi-channel bidimensional EMD method based on morphological filter to conduct image fusion. It uses the morphological expansion and erosion filters to compute the upper and lower envelopes of a multi-channel image in the sifting processing, and can decompose the input source images into several intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) with different scales and a residue. It significantly improves the computation efficiency of EMD for multi-channel images while maintaining the decomposition quality. Secondly, we adopt a patch-based fusion strategy with overlapping partition to fuse the IMFs and residue instead of the pixel-based fusion way usually used in EMD-based image fusion, where an energy-based maximum selection rule is designed to fuse the IMFs, and the feature information extracted by IMFs is used as a guide to merge the residue. Such strategy can extract the salient information of the source images well and can also reduce the spatial artifacts introduced by the noisy characteristics of the pixel-wise maps. A large number of comparative experiments on the fusion of several commonly used image data sets with multi-focus and multi-modal images, show that our newly proposed fusion method can obtain much better results than the existing EMD-based image fusion approaches. Furthermore, it is very competitive with the state-of-the-art image fusion methods in visualization, objective metrics, and time performance. Titanium carbide (TiC x) films were deposited by reactively sputtering Ti target with varied methane (CH 4) flow rates using an unbalanced magnetron sputtering equipment operating in conventional (CMS) and plasma-enhanced (PEMS) mode. The microstructure and properties of the TiC x films were mainly scrutinized with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, nano indentation, and ball-on-disk tribo-test. As the CH 4 flow rate is increased from 4 to 16 sccm, x in the TiC x films deposited by PEMS and CMS is gradually increased from 0.28 to 0.96 and 0.28 to 0.73, respectively; and the concentration of TiC phase in the films rises. A densified microstructure with strong preferred growth is observed in the PEMS-deposited films, while a loose columnar microstructure with almost random growth exists in the CMS-deposited films. When the CH 4 flow rate is increased, the hardness of the films deposited by PEMS is firstly increased and then decreased, and reaches a maximum value of 29.6 GPa; but that of CMS-TiC x film is fluctuated below 10.6 GPa. The friction coefficient of TiC x -coated samples against pure aluminum is gradually increased with increasing CH 4 flow rate from 4 to 14 sccm, accompanied by a reduction of the aluminum adhesion. The wear rate of the TiC x -coated samples as a function of the CH 4 flow rate is firstly decreased and then increased. The lowest wear rate of the PEMS-prepared samples is 7.2 × 10−16 m3/(N·m) obtained at a CH 4 flow rate of 14 sccm, while that of the CMS-prepared samples is 9.3 × 10−15 m3/(N·m) obtained at 12 sccm. How to generate slip surfaces efficiently is crucial for the stability analysis of slopes. Traditional approaches for generating slip surfaces rely directly on the geometric features of slopes, which makes it complicated to generate arbitrary slip surfaces. Moreover, the resulting surfaces are usually not smooth in many cases. This study proposes a method for generating an arbitrary slip surface utilizing the superposition of the integral of the logistic function. This technique can transform the traditional geometry problem into a parameter selection one, in which three groups of parameters in the function determine the shape of the slip surface. The higher-order continuity and differentiable property of this function ensure the smoothness of the slip surfaces. The paper investigates the impact of relevant parameters on the slip surface's pattern and provides the upper and lower bounds of the control variables. This method further develops a procedure for producing arbitrary slip surfaces. The factor of safety and the critical slip surface are calculated using the Morgenstern–Price method and the biogeography-based optimization. After constructing the slip surfaces by this method, two cases in Association for Computer Aided Design show that this method is applicable and verify its calculation accuracy by comparing the factor of safety and the critical slip surface. This work was to explore the application of deep learning (DL) in identifying the neural mechanism of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and the role of physical exercise in the prevention and treatment of CVD. 200 cases of outpatient treatment in the hospital from January to December in 2021 were included as the research objects. 100 people with fitness exercise habits were sorted into the experiment group, and the other 100 cases without fitness exercise habit were in the control group. In addition, a DL-based CVD recognition model was constructed. The results showed that the detection effect of the back propagation (BP) algorithm under DL was better, with an average of over 99%. Heart rate variability (HRV) time domain analysis results showed that the Rrmaen, standard deviation of N-N interval (SDNN), and root mean square of the difference (RMSSD) of the experiment group were 8 4 6. 3 ± 8 5. 4 ms, 1 0 3. 6 ± 2 2. 5 ms, and 1 9. 2 ± 4. 8 ms, respectively. These were observably higher than those of the control group (P < 0. 0 5). Background: The prognostic value of cytokeratin 19 fragment (CYFRA 21 − 1) and Ki67 in advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with wild-type epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) remains to be explored. Methods: In this study, 983 primary NSCLC patients from January 2016 to December 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. Finally, 117 advanced NSCLC patients with wild-type EGFR and 37 patients with EGFR mutation were included and prognostic value of CYFRA 21 − 1 and Ki67 were also identified. Results: The patients age, smoking history and the Eastern Corporative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance scores were significantly different between CYFRA21-1 positive and negative groups (p < 0.05), while no significant differences were found in Ki67 high and low groups. The results of over survival (OS) demonstrated that patients with CYFRA21-1 positive had markedly shorter survival time than CYFRA21-1 negative (p < 0.001, For whole cohorts; p = 0.002, For wild-type EGFR). Besides, patients with wild-type EGFR also had shorter survival times than Ki67 high group. Moreover, In CYFRA 21 − 1 positive group, patients with Ki67 high had obviously shorter survival time compared to patients with Ki67 low (median: 24vs23.5 months; p = 0.048). However, Ki67 could not be used as an adverse risk factor for patients with EGFR mutation. Multivariate cox analysis showed that age (HR, 1.031; 95%CI, 1.003 ~ 1.006; p = 0.028), Histopathology (HR, 1.760; 95%CI,1.152 ~ 2.690; p = 0.009), CYFRA 21 − 1 (HR, 2.304; 95%CI,1.224 ~ 4.335; p = 0.01) and Ki67 (HR, 2.130; 95%CI,1.242 ~ 3.652; p = 0.006) served as independent prognostic risk factor for advanced NSCLC patients. Conclusions: Our finding indicated that CYFRA 21 − 1 was an independent prognostic factor for advanced NSCLC patients and Ki67 status could be a risk stratification marker for CYFRA 21 − 1 positive NSCLC patients with wild-type EGFR. A visible-light-promoted hydroxylation of quinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones using recyclable graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3 N4) as a heterogeneous photocatalyst has been developed. This protocol enables the selective synthesis of various hydroxyl-containing quinoxalin-2(1 H)-ones in good to excellent yields under an ambient air atmosphere. 46,XY disorders of sex development (DSD) present with diverse phenotypes and complicated genetic causes. Precise genetic diagnosis contributes to accurate management, and targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) and whole-exome sequencing are powerful tools for investigating DSD. However, the prevalent variants resulting in 46,XY DSD remain unclear, especially those associated with mild forms, such as isolated hypospadias, inguinal cryptorchidism, and micropenis. From 2019 to 2021, 74 patients with 46,XY DSD (48 typical and 26 mild) from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were enrolled in our cohort study for targeted NGS or whole-exome sequencing. Our targeted 46,XY DSD panel included 108 genes involved in disorders of gonadal development and differentiation, steroid hormone synthesis and activation, persistent Müllerian duct syndrome, idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, syndromic disorder, and others. Variants were classified as pathogenic, likely pathogenic, variant of uncertain significance, likely benign, or benign following the American College of Medical Genetics guidelines. As a result, 28 of 74 (37.8%) patients with pathogenic and/or likely pathogenic variants acquired genetic diagnoses. The Mild DSD patients acquired a diagnosis rate of 30.7%. We detected 44 variants in 28 DSD genes from 31 patients, including 33 novel and 11 reported variants. Heterozygous (65%) and missense (70.5%) variants were the most common. Variants associated with steroid hormone synthesis and activation were the main genetic causes of 46,XY DSD. In conclusion, 46,XY DSD manifests as a series of complicated polygenetic diseases. Background. This work used bioinformatic analysis to identify the relationship between periodontitis (PD) and aging, which could lead to new treatments for periodontal disease in the elderly. Method. Four microarray datasets were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and analyzed in R language to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs). The common DEGs of PD and aging were evaluated as key genes in this investigation by a Venn diagram. These common DEGs were analyzed through additional experiments and analysis, such as pathway analysis and enrichment analysis, and a network of protein-protein interactions (PPIs) was constructed. Cytoscape was used to visualize hub genes and critical modules based on the PPI network. Interaction of TF-genes and miRNAs with hub genes is identified. Result. 84 common DEGs were found between PD and aging. Cytohubba was performed on the PPI network obtained from STRING tool, and the top 10 genes (MMP2, PDGFRB, CTGF, CD34, CXCL12, VIM, IL2RG, ACTA2, COL4A2, and TAGLN) were selected as hub genes. VIM may be a potential biomarker in the analysis of linked hub gene regulatory networks, and hsa-mir-21 and hsa-mir-125b are predicted to be associated in PD and aging. Conclusion. This study investigated the key genes and pathways interactions between PD and aging, which may help reveal the correlation between PD and aging. Commutation failures (CFs) including repetitive CFs (RCFs) are frequently occurring faults in line commutated converter based high voltage direct current (LCC-HVDC) systems. Consequently, sending end system will suffer transient voltage disturbances (TVD) with a characteristic of “first reduce then rise and may repeat”. Due to the complex interaction process of TVD, the electromagnetic process behind this phenomenon cannot be easily explained, which imposes great challenges on the development of mitigation strategies. Given this, this paper provides a deep insight into the mechanism and the impact factors of the TVD caused by CFs and RCFs. The numerical relationship between the transmitting power and the TVD is derived. Research results revealed that the transient process after fault can be segmented into five stages. In each stage, the control interactions among HVDC controllers and power interactions at the PCC are analyzed. Besides, we discussed the TVD under RCFs in detail. Several indices are further proposed to facilitate the characterization of the TVD, and main control loops of HVDC that have impacts on the characteristics of TVD are thereby studied. In order to breed broccoli and other Brassica materials to be highly resistant to clubroot disease, 41 Brassicaceae varieties were developed and identified between 2020 and 2021. Seven known clubroot genes were used for screening these materials. In addition, the resistant and susceptible broccoli cultivars were designed for observing their differences in the infection process with Plasmodiophora brassicae. The results showed that 90% of total materials had carried more than two clubroot resistance genes: one material carried two disease resistance genes, four materials carried seven genes for clubroot resistance, two materials carried six genes for clubroot resistance, and in total 32% of these materials carried five genes for clubroot resistance. As a result, several new genotypes of Brassicaceae germplasm were firstly created and obtained based on distant hybridization and identification of loci conferring resistance against Plasmodiophora brassicae in this study. We found and revealed that similar infection models of Plasmodiophora brassicae occurred in susceptible and resistant cultivars of broccoli, but differences in infection efficiency of Plasmodiophora brassicae also existed in both materials. For resistant broccoli plants, a small number of conidia formed in the root hair, and only a few spores could enter the cortex without forming sporangia while sporangia could form in susceptible plants. Background: Headache accompanying ischemic stroke is considered an independent predictor of neurological deterioration. This meta-analysis aims to estimate the prevalence of ischemic stroke-related headaches and identify its risk factors in China. Methods: PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library database, Web of Science, PsycINFO, and four Chinese databases for the related publications were searched. Two researchers independently selected the literature, extracted the relevant data, and assessed its methodological quality. The meta-analysis applied a random-effects model with R software to calculate the pooled prevalence of ischemic stroke-related headaches in Chinese patients, and to merge the odds ratio (OR) of risk factors. Subgroup analysis, sensitivity analysis, and meta-regression analysis were conducted. Publication bias was assessed by a funnel plot and Egger test. Results: Ninety-eight studies were eligible for inclusion. The overall pooled prevalence of ischemic stroke-related headache was 18.9%. Subgroup analysis showed that the prevalence of ischemic stroke related-headaches was higher among studies using self-report to diagnosis headache (18.9%; 95%CI, 8.9% to 40.2%), and those focused on age ≥ 55 years (19.7%; 95%CI, 14.9% to 25.9%), rural settings (24.9%; 95%CI, 19.7% to 31.6%). There were no significant differences in the headache prevalence between studies in the south and north, and inland and coastal studies. The prevalence of pre onset headache (13.9%) and tension-type headache (15.5%) and was higher compared with other types. History of headache (OR = 3.24; 95%CI, 2.26 to 4.65.), female gender (OR = 2.06; 95%CI, 1.44 to 2.96.), midbrain lesions (OR = 3.56; 95%CI, 1.86 to 6.83.), and posterior circulation stroke (OR = 2.13; 95%CI, 1.14 to 4.32) were major risk factors. Conclusion: The prevalence of ischemic stroke-associated headache is high in China. In addition, women, presence of midbrain lesions, posterior circulation stroke and a history of migraine were high-risk factors for ischemic stroke-related headaches. Exosomes are membranous structures secreted by nearly all cell types. As critical messengers for intercellular communication, exosomes deliver bioactive cargoes to recipient cells and are involved in multiple physiopathological processes, including immunoregulation. Our pioneering study revealed that cancer cells release programmed death-ligand 1-positive exosomes into the circulation to counter antitumor immunity systemically via T cells. Tumor cell-derived exosomes (TDEs) also play an immunosuppressive role in other immunocytes, including dendritic cells (DCs), macrophages, natural killer (NK) cells, and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs). Moreover, exosomes secreted by nontumor cells in the tumor microenvironments (TMEs) also exert immunosuppressive effects. This review systematically provides a summary of the immunosuppression induced by exosomes in tumor microenvironments, which modulates tumor growth, invasion, metastasis, and immunotherapeutic resistance. Additionally, therapeutic strategies targeting the molecular mechanism of exosome-mediated tumor development, which may help overcome several obstacles, such as immune tolerance in oncotherapy, are also discussed. Background: Conventional chemotherapy has poor efficacy in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) which is highly heterogeneous and aggressive. Imaging-guided therapy is usually combined with diverse treatment modalities, could realize the integration of diagnosis and treatments. Therefore, the primary challenge for combinational therapy is designing proper delivery systems to accomplish multiple synergistic effects. Results: Herein, a facile nanoplatform was manufactured to fulfill the all-in-one approaches for TNBC combinational therapy. Fe3+-based metal-phenolic networks (MPNs) with bovine serum albumin (BSA) modification served as drug delivery carriers to encapsulate bleomycin (BLM), forming BFE@BSA NPs. The self-assembly mechanism, pH-responsive drug release behavior, and other physicochemical properties of this system were characterized. The potential of BFE@BSA NPs as photothermal transduction agents and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agents was explored. The synergistic anti-tumor effects consisting of BLM-induced chemotherapy, Fenton reactions-mediated chemodynamic therapy, and photothermal therapy-induced apoptosis were studied both in vitro and in vivo. Once internalized into tumor cells, released BLM could cause DNA damage, while Fenton reactions were initiated to produce highly toxic •OH. Upon laser irradiation, BFE@BSA NPs could convert light into heat to achieve synergistic effects. After intravenous administration, BFE@BSA NPs exhibited great therapeutic effects in 4T1 tumor xenograft model. Moreover, as T1-weighted MRI contrast agents, BFE@BSA NPs could provide diagnosis and treatment monitoring for individualized precise therapy. Conclusions: A nano-system that integrated imaging and combinational therapy (chemotherapy, chemodynamic therapy and photothermal therapy) were developed to kill the tumor and monitor therapeutic efficacy. Multispectral and hyperspectral image fusion (MS/HS fusion) aims to fuse a high-resolution multispectral (HrMS) and a low-resolution hyperspectral (LrHS) images to generate a high-resolution hyperspectral (HrHS) image, which has become one of the most commonly addressed problems for hyperspectral image processing. In this paper, we specifically designed a network architecture for the MS/HS fusion task, called MHF-net, which not only contains clear interpretability, but also reasonably embeds the well studied linear mapping that links the HrHS image to HrMS and LrHS images. In particular, we first construct an MS/HS fusion model which merges the generalization models of low-resolution images and the low-rankness prior knowledge of HrHS image into a concise formulation, and then we build the proposed network by unfolding the proximal gradient algorithm for solving the proposed model. As a result of the careful design for the model and algorithm, all the fundamental modules in MHF-net have clear physical meanings and are thus easily interpretable. This not only greatly facilitates an easy intuitive observation and analysis on what happens inside the network, but also leads to its good generalization capability. Based on the architecture of MHF-net, we further design two deep learning regimes for two general cases in practice: consistent MHF-net and blind MHF-net. The former is suitable in the case that spectral and spatial responses of training and testing data are consistent, just as considered in most of the pervious general supervised MS/HS fusion researches. The latter ensures a good generalization in mismatch cases of spectral and spatial responses in training and testing data, and even across different sensors, which is generally considered to be a challenging issue for general supervised MS/HS fusion methods. Experimental results on simulated and real data substantiate the superiority of our method both visually and quantitatively as compared with state-of-the-art methods along this line of research. The flame-to-flame interaction in a dual-pool fire scenario is a crucial issue. However, current research on multiple fires in tunnels primarily focuses on scenarios where the fire sources are situated along the central axis of the tunnel. However, in real tunnel fires, the lateral positions of the fire sources are variable and unpredictable. Therefore, studying the flame behavior of two fire sources at different lateral positions within the tunnel is of significant importance in elucidating the interaction mechanisms between two fire sources inside the tunnel. In this investigation, a synergistic approach involving experimental inquiry and theoretical derivation was employed to systematically examine the phenomena of flame merging and tilting induced by two pool fires at diverse lateral positions within a naturally ventilated tunnel. The results indicate that flame entrainment is more likely to occur due to sidewall restrictions in tunnels, thereby increasing the probability of flame merging. A piecewise expression for determining the probability of flame merging from dual fire sources within tunnels was established. Furthermore, considering how sidewalls influence flame tilting angles, an air entrainment model for dual fire sources within tunnels was developed to derive flame tilting angles at different lateral positions and fire source spacing within tunnels. Study on corrole photosensitizers (PSs) for photodynamic therapy (PDT) has made remarkable progress. Targeted delivery of PSs is of great significance for enhancing therapeutic efficiency, decreasing the dosage, and reducing systemic toxicity during PDT. The development of PSs that can be specifically delivered to the subcellular organelle is still an attractive and challenging work. Herein, we synthesize a series of azide-modified corrole phosphorus and gallium complex PSs, in which phosphorus corrole 2-P could not only precisely target the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) with a Pearson correlation coefficient (PCC) up to 0.92 but also possesses the highest singlet oxygen quantum yields (Φ Δ = 0.75). This renders it remarkable PDT activity at a very low dosage (IC 50 = 23 nM) towards HepG2 tumor cell line while ablating solid tumors in vivo with excellent biosecurity. Furthermore, 2-P exhibits intense red fluorescence (Φ F = 0.25), outstanding photostability, and a large Stokes shift (190 nm), making it a promising fluorescent probe for ER. This study provides a clinically potential photosensitizer for cancer photodynamic therapy and a promising ER fluorescent probe for bioimaging. Background: Cervical cancer (CC) is one of the most common gynecological tumors that threatens women's health and lives. Aberrant expression of PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA) is closely related with a range of cancers and can serve as a tumor promoter or suppressor in proliferation, migration and invasion. In this study, the aim was not only to discover differential expression of piRNA in CC tissue (CC cells) and normal cervical tissue (normal cervical epithelium cells), but also to investigate the biological function and action mechanism of piRNA in CC.Methods: The DESeq2 approach was used to estimate fold change in piRNA between CC tissue and normal cervical tissue. The relative expressions of piRNAs (piRNA-20657, piRNA-20497, piRNA-14633 and piRNA-13350) and RNA m6A methyltransferases/demethylases were detected using RT-qPCR. After intervention with piRNA-14633 and METTL14 expression, the viability of CaSki cells and SiHa cells was detected by CCK8. CC cell proliferation was detected by colony formation assay. Apoptosis rate and cell cycle were detected by flow cytometry. Transwell assay was performed to detect cell migration and invasion. Knockdown of METTL14 with siRNA attenuated proliferation, migration and invasion of CC cells. piRNA-14633 increased CYP1B1 expression, while silencing of METTL14 impaired its expression. Synthetic chemotactic micro/nanomotors are envisioned to actively 'seek out' targets by following specific chemicals, but they are mainly powered by bioincompatible fuels and only show pseudochemotaxis (or advanced chemokinesis) due to their weak self-reorientation capabilities. Here we demonstrate that synthetic ZnO-based Janus micromotors can be powered by the alternative biocompatible fuel of CO2, and further provide the first example of self-reorientation-induced biomimetic chemotaxis using them. The ZnO-based micromotors are highly sensitive to dissolved CO2 in water, which enables the corrosion of ZnO to continuously occur by providing H+ through hydration. Thus, they can autonomously move even in water exposed to air based on self-diffusiophoresis. Furthermore, they can sense the local CO2 gradient and perform positive chemotaxis by self-reorientations under the phoretic torque. Our discovery opens a gate to developing intelligent micro/nanomotors powered by, and sensitive to, biocompatible atmospheric or endogenous gaseous chemicals for biomedical and environmental applications. This paper investigates a new DC voltage sag compensating scheme by using hybrid energy storage (HES) technology involved with one superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) unit and one battery energy storage (BES) unit. Two fault simulations of power supply fluctuation and sensitive load fluctuation are carried out to evaluate the dynamic voltage and power smoothing behaviours. Background: Spindle cell carcinoma (SpCC) is a rare tumor type with poor prognosis, and standard treatment modalities are not available yet. However, large-scale studies on this topic are sparse. In this study, data from the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results (SEER) database were used to determine cancer-specific survival (CSS) rates of SpCC and to investigate the impact of different therapeutic strategies including surgery with or without chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or chemoradiotherapy on patient outcome.Methods: A total of 665 cases of SpCC, diagnosed from 1996 to 2015, were extracted from the SEER database. Kaplan-Meier survival curves and log-rank tests were used to assess CSS rates and differences on survival curves. Multiple COX-proportional hazards models were used to analyze the association between various treatments and prognosis of SpCC patients classified by organs or systems.Results: Different treatments for SpCC in different organ or system were associated with prognosis of SpCC patients. Surgery alone exhibits survival benefit, whereas adjuvant therapy fails to show survival benefit for patients with SpCC.Conclusions: The prognosis of SpCC patients varied significantly with different clinical treatments. • Light soaking effect is observed in ZnS/p-Si solar cells for the first time. • Different light soaking conditions were systematically explored. • A model is proposed to qualitatively explain the light soaking effect. • Deep-level transient spectroscopy was applied to verify the proposed model. An innovative dopant-free ZnS/p-Si heterojunction solar cell features hole selective WO 3 contact were fabricated by thermal evaporation at room temperature. Light soaking effect was observed in the ZnS/p-Si heterojunction solar cells for the first time. The device performance is found to increase with the increasing light soaking times and finally reaches saturation. Besides, when the illumination stops, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) would decrease slightly. Device performance under different light soaking time and preservation time in the dark were investigated. Moreover, different monochromatic illuminations were conducted to further specify the active layer that is responsible for the light soaking effect. The result shows the ZnS layer and the short-wavelength light absorbed in ZnS layer are supposed to be the main reason for the effect. Based on these results, a model was proposed from the point of view of defect states variation in the energy band of ZnS to explain the effect. The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is an independent predictor of clinical outcome of different diseases, such as acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, malignant tumor, and traumatic brain injury. However, the prognostic value of NLR plus admission Glasgow Coma Scale score (NLR-GCS) is still unclear in patients with diffuse axonal injury (DAI). Therefore this study assessed the relationship between the NLR-GCS and 6-month outcome of DAI patients. The clinical characteristics of DAI patients admitted to our department between January 2014 and January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The candidate risk factors were screened by using univariate analysis, and the independence of resultant risk factors was evaluated by the binary logistic regression analysis and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression analysis. The predictive value of NLR-GCS in an unfavorable outcome was assessed by the receiver operating characteristics curve analysis. A total of 93 DAI patients were included. Binary logistic regression analysis and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression analysis showed the level of NLR on admission was an independent risk factor of unfavorable outcomes in DAI patients. The ROC curve analysis showed that the predictive capacity of the combination of NLR and admission GCS score and combination of NLR and coma duration outperformed NLR, admission GCS score, and coma duration alone. The higher NLR level on admission is independently associated with unfavorable outcomes of DAI patients at 6 months. For scalar theories accommodating spherically symmetric Q-balls, there are also towers of quasi-stable composite Q-balls, called charge swapping Q-balls (CSQs). We investigate the properties, particularly the lifetimes, of these long-lived CSQs in 2+1D and 3+1D using numerical simulations with efficient second order absorbing boundary conditions. We find that the evolution of a CSQ typically consists of 4 distinct stages: initial relaxation, first plateau (CSQ stage), fast decay and second plateau (oscillon stage). Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) can solve many problems in smart city, such as smart transportation, smart healthcare and smart energy. Recently, Banerjee et al. proposed a security-enhanced authentication and key agreement scheme for WSN, but their scheme cannot resist offline password guessing attack, impersonation attack, and does not achieve session key secrecy, identity unlinkability, and perfect forward secrecy. In order to fix these flaws, a secure and privacy-preserving authentication protocol for WSN in smart city is proposed. We prove the security of the proposed protocol by using applied pi calculus-based formal verification tool ProVerif and show that it has high computational efficiency by comparison with some related schemes. A donor-cell-assisted membrane biotinylation strategy was used to modify small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) while minimizing protein damage, and allowed the sEVs to be loaded onto carriers. Biotinylated programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) positive sEVs were used to select for aptamers from a DNA library. PD-L1 negative sEVs from a homologous cell line were found to remove non-specific aptamer sequences to increase the specificity. Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative disease of the bone and joints. Immune-related genes and immune cell infiltration are important in OA development. We analyzed immune-related genes and immune infiltrates to identify OA diagnostic markers. The datasets GSE51588, GSE55235, GSE55457, GSE82107, and GSE114007 were downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. First, R software was used to identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and differentially expressed immune-related genes (DEIRGs), and functional correlation analysis was conducted. Second, CIBERSORT was used to evaluate infiltration of immune cells in OA tissue. Finally, the least absolute shrinkage and selection operator logistic regression algorithm and support vector machine-recurrent feature elimination algorithm were used to screen and verify diagnostic markers of OA. A total of 711 DEGs and 270 DEIRGs were identified in this study. Functional enrichment analysis showed that the DEGs and DEIRGs are closely related to cellular calcium ion homeostasis, ion channel complexes, chemokine signaling pathways, and JAK-STAT signaling pathways. Differential analysis of immune cell infiltration showed that M1 macrophage infiltration was increased but that mast cell and neutrophil infiltration were decreased in OA samples. The machine learning algorithm cross-identified 15 biomarkers (BTC, PSMD8, TLR3, IL7, APOD, CIITA, IFIH1, CDC42, FGF9, TNFAIP3, CX3CR1, ERAP2, SEMA3D, MPO, and plasma cells). According to pass validation, all 15 biomarkers had high diagnostic efficacy (AUC > 0.7), and the diagnostic efficiency was higher when the 15 biomarkers were fitted into one variable (AUC = 0.758). The Shimian Neoproterozoic plutons are located on the western margin of the Yangtze Block and are important for reconstructing the tectonic environment of this region. We present in situ zircon LA–ICP–MS U–Pb geochronological and Hf isotopic analyses for the plutons, as well as whole‐rock major‐ and trace‐element compositions. The monzogranite and syenogranite yield concordant ages of 773.6 ± 5.6 Ma and 812.2 ± 1.8 Ma, respectively, which indicates that they formed during the Tonian of the Neoproterozoic. The samples have very similar geochemistry, with high SiO2 (71.45–75.46 wt%) and Al2O3 (12.38–14.36 wt%) contents. The samples have a geochemical characteristics typical of peraluminous A‐type granites, including high Ga/Al and Rb/Sr ratios and elevated contents of high‐field‐strength elements. The samples also display high Rb/Sr (13.9–23.0) and Rb/Nb (12.5–19.2) ratios. The monzogranite and syenogranite yield positive εHf(t) values (+1.6 to +9.4 and + 5.2 to +9.8, respectively) and T2DM ages of 1.54–1.22 Ga and 1.51–1.21 Ga, respectively, which indicates that they were derived from partial melting of Mesoproterozoic crust or contamination with upper mantle. We propose that the syenogranite and monzogranite formed in a syn‐orogenic extensional setting during the Tonian period and that continuous subduction was responsible for the Neoproterozoic magmatic activities. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive developmental neurodegenerative disease that primarily develops in old age. Memory impairment is an important manifestation of AD. It has been demonstrated that inflammation and oxidative stress are important mediators in the development and progression of AD. Codonopsis Radix (CR) has a long history of consumption, exhibiting lots of beneficial health effects, including anti-ageing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. However, studies on the effects of CR on scopolamine-induced amnesia have rarely been reported. The aim of this study was to investigate the ameliorative effect of macromolecular portion (polysaccharides, POL) and small molecule portion (fine extract rich in phenylpropanoids-polyacetylenes, EPP) from CR on improving scopolamine-induced memory impairment and to elucidate the potential mechanism of action. C57BL/6 mice were pretreated with EPP (0.2, 0.4, and 0.6 g/kg), POL (0.3, 0.6, and 0.9 g/kg), and donepezil (5 mg/kg) by gavage for 7 days, followed by intraperitoneal injection of scopolamine (1 mg/kg) to induce memory impairment. The 16S rRNA gene sequencing, histopathological, western blotting, and biochemical analysis (various biochemical markers and protein expressions related to cholinergic system, oxidative stress, and neuroinflammation) were performed to further elucidate the mechanism of action. Moreover, the acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activities of POL, EPP, and its main compounds tangshenoside I, lobetyol, lobetyolin, and lobetyolinin were evaluated. Experiments have confirmed that both POL and EPP from CR could improve scopolamine-induced spatial learning memory deficits. Both of them could regulate cholinergic function by inhibiting AChE and activating choline acetyltransferase (ChAT) activities. They also could enhance antioxidant defense via increasing the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase, and anti-inflammatory function through suppressing inflammatory factors (nitric oxide, TNF-α, and IL-6) and regulating gut flora. Besides, in vitro experiments demonstrated that four monomeric compounds and EPP, except POL, exhibited inhibition of AChE activity. EPP and POL from CR exert a beneficial effect on learning and memory processes in mice with scopolamine-induced memory impairment. Cyber-Physical System (CPS) is a multidimensional complex system that integrates computing, network, and physical environment, which is widely used to promote the upgrading of industrial production and technology. Recently, the application of industrial CPS in the medical field has attracted the attention of scholars and medical experts. Medical CPS can establish a perfect medical network to help doctors monitor patients' conditions in real-time and make treatments. However, how to design a provably secure and lightweight authentication protocol for industrial medical CPS is a challenge. Very recently, Qi et al. proposed an authentication protocol for industrial medical CPS based on the chaotic map, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) biometric technique is used in the protocol to resist password guessing attack and smart card lost attack. However, we find that their protocol is still vulnerable to identity guessing attack, user impersonation attack, trace attack, desynchronization attack, and has no perfect forward secrecy. Therefore, we propose a security-enhanced and lightweight authentication protocol for industrial medical CPS. In the protocol, a dynamic temporary identity strategy is designed to protect anonymity and privacy, which enables the updating of temporary identities while resisting desynchronization attacks. The protocol is proved secure through formal security proof in random oracle model. In particular, 240 W of ultrasound combined with low temperature pretreatment reduced the bad odors (caprylic acid, benzaldehyde, and 1-ethanol content) and improved the flower and fruit aroma (1-octanol and phenethyl acetate), as well as the aftertaste, thus improving the quality of the wine. It was found that the corrosion resistance of WC was significantly improved with the addition of a TiN coating. Erosion testing was done using solid particles to quantify dynamic erosion processes in TiN-coated specimens. TiN coatings were deposited on different specimens using physical vapor deposition (PVD), chemical vapor deposition (CVD), or plasma chemical vapor deposition (PCVD). Results from the erosion tests indicated that the corrosion resistances of the WC-Co cemented carbide samples were improved following all three coating processes. The order of corrosion resistance in terms of strength was TiN-PVD > TiN-CVD > TiN-PCVD > uncoated specimen. The TiN-PVD sample also had the highest resistance to erosion of the three sample types. The principal factors that influence erosion resistance are adhesion forces and the ratio of the hardness (H) of a material to the elastic modulus (E) of the material. Experimental results from this study demonstrated that the TiN-PVD sample had a large adhesion force (42 N) and higher H/E and H3/E2 values relative to the other sample types. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective. To explore the potential biological roles of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) RNCR3 in human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods. First, the expression of RNCR3 was detected by qRT-PCR. Then, in vitro experiments were performed to investigate the effects of RNCR3 on the proliferation, cell cycle, migration, and invasion of HCC cells, while the effects of RNCR3 on HCC tumor growth and metastasis were investigated using in vivo experiments. Finally, western blot was used to study the activation of the Akt/GSK3β signaling pathway. Results. RNCR3 was highly expressed in both HCC tissues and cells, and the expression of RNCR3 was closely related to tumor size, tumor number, TNM stage, and overall survival time. In vitro, RNCR3 served as an oncogene to promote cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, and in vivo, RNCR3 promoted the growth and metastasis of HCC tumors. In terms of mechanism, RNCR3 induced the phosphorylation of Akt (thr308 and ser473) and GSK3β (ser9) but decreased the expression of GSK3β, which activated the Akt/GSK3β signaling pathway. Conclusion. The high expression of lncRNA RNCR3 in HCC can promote the proliferation, migration, invasion, growth, and metastasis of HCC by activating the NF-κB signaling pathway. Molecular classifications of gastric cancer (GC) by the Asian Cancer Research Group (ACRG) and The Cancer Genome Atlas Consortium (TCGA) are useful for diagnosis and treatment of GC. However, their clinical significance is unknown. The present study aims to explore the associations between subtypes of GC and prognosis of patients with GC. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used in the ACRG molecular classification of GC, while next-generation sequencing technology was used in TCGA molecular classification. The results indicated that, out of a total of 65 cases of GC, some were classified as Epstein-Barr virus positive type (9.2%, 6 of 65), some as microsatellite instability (MSI) type (23.1%, 15 of 65), some as gene stable type (21.5%, 14 of 65) and some as chromosome instability type (46.2%, 30 of 65) according to TCGA typing standard. Of the total 65 GC cases, some were classified as MSI (21.5%, 14 of 65), some as microsatellite stable/epithelial-mesenchymal transition (MSS/EMT; 20.0%, 13 of 65), some as MSS/tumor protein 53 active (TP53+; 15.4%, 10 of 65) and some as MSS/TP53 inactive (43.1%, 28 of 65) according to ACRG typing standard. ARCG molecular subtype (P=0.010) and Lauren classification (P=0.011) were independently correlated with the overall survival of patients with GC. In conclusion, TCGA classification based on a Chinese population is the same as TCGA typing based on a European population in terms of proportion and clinical characteristics, but there are differences in gene amplification and gene mutation. For weed detection in wheat field, it is difficult to identify weeds against the complex field background using single-modal red–green–blue (RGB) images due to similar appearance of grass weeds and wheat. To overcome limitations of single-modal information in grass weed detection, a dual-path weed detection network (WeedsNet) based on multi-modal information is proposed. At first, the single-channel depth image is encoded as a new three-channel image having similar structures with RGB color space, so that they are suitable for feature extraction using a convolutional neural network (CNN). Then, WeedsNet comprising a dual-path feature extraction network is constructed to extract features of weeds from RGB and depth images simultaneously. Finally, weights are assigned to features in different modalities in tandem with the idea of multi-scale object detection and the attention mechanism, thus effectively fusing multi-modal information. The results of the interpretability analysis of the model demonstrate that depth information is beneficial to achieve the detection of grass weeds, and effectively improves the weed detection accuracy in wheat field by complementing with RGB image features. WeedsNet has better detection accuracy than both traditional machine learning methods and integrated learning-based weight assignment methods. The weed detection accuracy is 62.3% based on WeedsNet in natural wheat field and the detection speed of single image was about 0.5s. Dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene over silica-doped TiO2 supported Au catalysts was investigated. The silica doping of TiO2 support greatly improved the dehydrogenation activity of Au supported catalysts, which can be ascribed to the reduced Au particle size. An ethane conversion of 15.8% and ethylene selectivity of 94.8% can be obtained over the catalyst with SiO2 doping of 20 wt%. However, the activity would begin to decrease with further increasing of SiO2 content, since the proportion of Auδ+ species decreased monotonically with SiO2 amount, which may also play an important role in ethane dehydrogenation. The total variation (TV) is a powerful regularization term encoding the local smoothness prior structure underlying images. By combining the TV regularization term with low rank prior, the 3D total variation (3DTV) regularizer has achieved advanced performance in general hyperspectral image (HSI) processing tasks. Intrinsically, 3DTV assumes i.i.d. sparsity structures on all bands of the gradient maps calculated along the spectrum and space of an HSI. This, however, largely deviates from the real-world cases, where the gradient maps generally have different while correlated gradient map structures across all bands. To alleviate this issue, we propose an enhanced 3DTV (E-3DTV) regularization term beyond the conventional. Instead of imposing sparsity on gradient maps themselves, the new term calculates sparsity on the subspace bases on gradient maps along all bands of an HSI, which naturally encodes the correlation and difference among all these bands, and thus more faithfully reflects the insightful configurations of an HSI. The E-3DTV term can easily replace the conventional 3DTV term and be embedded into an HSI processing model to ameliorate its performance. We made such attempts on two typical related tasks: HSI denoising and compressed sensing. The superiority of our proposed method is substantiated by extensive experiments on synthetic and real HSI data, visually and quantitatively on both tasks, as compared with current state-of-the-arts. In this paper, a new function is introduced to generate various multi-double-scroll and multi-double-wing hidden attractors. In order to prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, three chaotic systems are taken into consideration: a 3D chaotic system with stable equilibria, a 4D chaotic system and a 4D hyper-chaotic system both without equilibrium. And the dynamical behaviors of these systems are theoretically analyzed and numerically simulated, such as analysis of equilibria and their stability, Lyapunov exponent spectra and bifurcation diagrams. Moreover, a corresponding electronic circuit is designed based on the 4D chaotic system. The hardware experimental results are in agreement with the numerical simulations on the Matlab platform. Background: Cadmium (Cd) is an environmental pollutant that leads to nephrotoxicity. However, the mechanisms of Cd-induced glomerular injury have not been fully clarified. Von Willebrand factor (vWF) and occludin are important endothelial cell markers in renal vasculature. In this study, the effects of Cd on the vWF and occludin expression in mouse glomeruli was investigated. Objectives: The goal of this study was to analyze the expression of von Willebrand factor and occludin in glomerular endothelial cells of tumor necrosis factor-α−/− (TNF-α−/−) mice after treatment with Cd. Material and methods: C57BL6/J wild-type (WT) mice and TNF-α−/− mice (n = 6) were treated with Cd, and the kidney tissues were collected. The expression of von Willebrand factor and occludin was detected by using quantitative real-time PCR, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry. In vitro, Human umbilical vascular endothelial cells (HUVECs) were used to examine the regulatory role of TNF-α on expression of von Willebrand factor and occludin. Results: We found that Cd significantly increases mRNA and protein expressions of von Willebrand factor and occludin in TNF-α−/− mice, but not in WT mice. In vitro, Cd significantly increased mRNA and protein expression of von Willebrand factor and occludin in HUVECs with TNF-α small interfering RNA (siRNA) transfection. Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most common cause of anovulatory infertility in women of reproductive age. Chronic inflammation is considered to be the cause of ovarian dysfunction. Increasing evidence in animal studies and in preliminary clinical trials has demonstrated that MSCs possess immunomodulatory effects via their interaction with immune cells. However, their contribution to PCOS remains unclear. In this study, we showed that the administration of hUC-MSCs could efficiently improve the pathological changes of PCOS mice induced by dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), including ovarian histopathology and function. Moreover, we found that the administration of MSCs significantly downregulated the expression of proinflammatory factors (TNF-α, IL-1β, and IFN-γ) and fibrosis-related genes (CTGF) in ovarian and uterus tissues and affected the systemic inflammatory response. The percentage of peripheral neutrophils, M1 macrophages, and B cells was significantly reduced, while M2 macrophages and regulatory T cells (Tregs) were increased in hUC-MSC-treated mice. In the spleen, the percentage of neutrophils, M1 macrophages, IFN-γ+CD19+B cell, IFN-γ+CD4+T cells (Th1), and IL-17+CD4+T cells (Th17) was significantly decreased in hUC-MSC-treated mice. Atomic layer deposition (ALD) of TiO2 thin films using Ti isopropoxide and tetrakis-dimethyl-amido titanium (TDMAT) as two kinds of Ti precursors and water as another reactant was investigated. TiO2 films with high purity can be grown in a self-limited ALD growth mode by using either Ti isopropoxide or TDMAT as Ti precursors. Different growth behaviors as a function of deposition temperature were observed. A typical growth rate curve-increased growth rate per cycle (GPC) with increasing temperatures was observed for the TiO2 film deposited by Ti isopropoxide and H2O, while surprisingly high GPC was observed at low temperatures for the TiO2 film deposited by TDMAT and H2O. An energetic model was proposed to explain the different growth behaviors with different precursors. Density functional theory (DFT) calculation was made. The GPC in the low temperature region is determined by the reaction energy barrier. From the experimental results and DFT calculation, we found that the intermediate product stability after the ligand exchange is determined by the desorption behavior, which has a huge effect on the width of the ALD process window. A thin amorphous Si (α-Si) interlayer is produced between the sputtering deposited ytterbium layer and Si(001) substrate, and the growth of the ytterbium silicide (YbSi2-x) film is investigated in this paper. Formation of YbSi2-x was verified by x-ray diffraction (XRD). The silicide film morphology was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM). SEM results reveal that without the α-Si interlayer, pinholes form during YbSi2-x formation on Si(001). Furthermore, the XRD results demonstrate that there is a strong epitaxial relationship between the formed YbSi2-x and Si(001) substrate, and it is believed to be the reason for the formation of pinholes. To suppress the formation of pinholes, a thin α-Si interlayer with different thicknesses is introduced on the Si(001) substrate prior to Yb film deposition. The α-Si interlayer is produced by either sputter deposition employing a Si target or by Si ion implantation induced amorphization. In the presence of this thin α-Si interlayer, epitaxial growth of YbSi2-x is greatly suppressed even when the α-Si interlayer is so thin that full silicidation of the deposited Yb film still requires consumption of Si atoms from the Si(001) substrate. Fabrication of a pinhole-free YbSi2-x film is also demonstrated by SEM and AFM. The growth mechanism of the pinhole-free YbSi2-x film in the presence of a thin α-Si interlayer is discussed. The endosymbiont Wolbachia manipulates host reproduction by several strategies, one of the most important of which is cytoplasmic incompatibility (CI). CI can be rescued when Wolbachia‐infected males mate with females infected with the same Wolbachia strain. However, the potential rescue mechanism of CI in the small brown planthopper Laodelphax striatellus is unclear. In this study, comparative transcriptome analysis was applied to explore the effect of Wolbachia on L. striatellus eggs. A total of 1387 differentially expressed genes were identified. RNA interference of 7 Wolbachia‐upregulated key planthopper genes reduced egg reproduction, suggesting that Wolbachia might improve fecundity in L. striatellus by affecting these 7 genes. Suppressing the expression of another upregulated gene, NDUFA8 (encoding NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 α subcomplex subunit 8‐like) by RNA interference significantly increased the mortality of early embryos without affecting the number of deposited eggs. Wolbachia infection upregulated the mRNA level of NDUFA8, and dsNDUFA8 treatment of Wolbachia‐infected females recreated CI‐like symptoms, suggesting that NDUFA8 is associated with the rescue phenotype. Gramineous crops have undergone a diversification in floral architecture, with distinguished variations in their spikelets, florets, and inner hull-like organ patterns occurring during cereal domestication. Significant advancements have enhanced our comprehension of domesticated footprints and the molecular mechanisms associated with major regulators involved in cereal threshability. The miRNA172-AP2/ERF and miRNA156/TCP-SBP regulatory modules, functionally differentiated MADS-box transcription factors, and G protein pathways compose an intricate regulatory network functioning in floral organ initiation, differentiation, and specification. The molecular design of summarized gene resources, facilitated by genome-editing technologies, can expedite de novo domestication and advance the breeding of easy-threshing grains in cereals. Hulled grains, while providing natural protection for seeds, pose a challenge to manual threshing due to the pair of glumes tightly encasing them. Based on natural evolution and artificial domestication, gramineous crops evolved various hull-like floral organs. Recently, progress has been made in uncovering novel domesticated genes associated with cereal threshability and deciphering common regulatory modules pertinent to the specification of hull-like floral organs. Here we review morphological similarities, principal regulators, and common mechanisms implicated in the easy-threshing traits of crops. Understanding the shared and unique features in the developmental process of cereal threshability may not only shed light on the convergent evolution of cereals but also facilitate the de novo domestication of wild cereal germplasm resources through genome-editing technologies. Due to the popularization and application of mobile phones and the Fifth Generation (5G) communication technology in the smart city, it's easy for people to use the internet service at anytime and anywhere. While providing convenience, mobile networks face a series of challenges in security and privacy protection due to the ability of the terminal. Recently, Xiong et al. designed an anonymous authentication scheme based on elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) for roaming in smart city. However, we show that their scheme lacks of two-factor security, and suffers from impersonation attack. To fix these problems, an improved roaming authentication protocol with two-factor security is proposed, which is security by using applied pi calculus based formal validation tool ProVerif, and it has high computational efficiency by comparison with some related schemes.
