This paper proposes a novel color medical image encryption method based on mean shift algorithm and fractional-order hyperchaotic system. Firstly, color medical images were divided into lesion area, detection area, and edge area by using mean shift clustering. Low-value pixels and zero-value pixels in the edge region are abandoned to improve the encryption efficiency. Secondly, the doctor-patient information is embedded into the pixel matrix of the lesion region by using discrete wavelet transform and singular value decomposition. Thirdly, the pixels of the lesion region and the detection region are processed by using fractional-order hyperchaotic system. Finally, the color medical image embedded with doctor-patient information can be quickly encrypted. Security analysis shows that the encryption method has not only strong robustness and security, but also good performance against various attacks. To automate present Automatic Optical Inspection(AOI) systems,an intelligent method based on incremental clustering for solder joint inspection is proposed in this paper.Firstly,to meet the demands of practical production,the framework for an intelligent AOI system is designed.Then,all the defects of solder joints are classified into several different types according to their appearances,and the color features in critical regions are extracted.The samples in each class are clustered into several subclasses so that the system is able to inspect solders from different batches.Finally,a new incremental clustering algorithm is proposed.The AOI system can automatically adjust inspection parameters according to the feedback from the repair station.To improve training efficiency,only a few samples are selected.The method proposed is used in an AOI to inspect solder joints,and the inspecting accuracy can reach 96.5% while each solder inspection takes 9.3 ms.The experimental result demonstrates that the proposed method can detect accurately a solder defect from different patches,and can be modified for different manufacturing processes.The intelligence level of the system using the proposed method is high,and it can be used in practical application.

In the multistage reliability growth tests with instant and delayed fix modes, the failure data can be assumed to follow Weibull processes with different parameters at different stages. For the Weibull process within a stage, by the proper selection of prior distribution form and the parameters, a concise posterior distribution form is obtained, thus simplifying the Bayesian analysis. In the multistage tests, the improvement factor is used to convert the posterior of one stage to the prior of the subsequent stage. The conversion criterion is carefully analyzed to determine the distribution parameters of the subsequent stage's variable reasonably. Based on the mentioned results, a new synthetic Bayesian evaluation program and algorithm framework is put forward to evaluate the multistage reliability growth tests with instant and delayed fix modes. The example shows the effectiveness and flexibility of this method.

A framework for human error modes and effects analysis is presented. The methods of hierarchical task analysis and event tree analysis are introduced as the basic analytical tools, and a novel generic framework for human errors classification is presented as the guidance to identify human errors. Firstly, the process of human error modes and effects analysis is discussed, and the hierarchical task analysis method is introduced briefly. Secondly, the framework for human errors classification is discussed in detail. Thirdly, the multi-states event tree is designed to model the accident scenario. Finally, two scenarios are selected as the examples to illustrate the proposed process of human error modes and effects analysis.

This paper discusses the concept of controllable subspace for open quantum dynamical systems. It is constructively demonstrated that combining structural features of decoherence-free subspaces with the ability to perform open-loop coherent control on open quantum systems will allow decoherence-free subspaces to be controllable. This is in contrast to the observation that open quantum dynamical systems are not open-loop controllable. To a certain extent, this paper gives an alternative control theoretical interpretation on why decoherence-free subspaces can be useful for quantum computation.

We propose the concept of the quantum generalized projector measurement (QGPM) for finite-dimensional quantum systems by studying the quantum generalized measurement. This research reveals a distinguished property of this quantum generalized measurement: no matter what the system state is prior to the measurement and what the result of the measurement occurs, the state of the system after the measurement can be collapsed into any specified pure state, i.e., the state of quantum system can be deterministically reduced to any specified pure state just by a single QGPM. Subsequently, QGPM can be used to deterministically generate the maximum entangled pure state for quantum systems. We give three concrete theoretic schemes of generating the maximum quantum entangled pure states for two 2-level particles, three 2-level particles and two 3-level particles, respectively.

Hypertension is a common disease endangering human health, and every year the number of cases increases at a speed of ten millions. So far there are about 230 million hypertension patients in China, and the long-term drug treatment for hypertension patients is an effective measure to control blood pressure. In this paper, based on the evaluation period of patients with Medication Possession Ratio (MPR) and blood pressure analysis, the beta distribution model which is used to find the relationship between them is established. Then genetic algorithms (GA) and cross validation are carried out on the model and we make comparative analysis with linear distribution model. The experimental results show that the beta distribution model can well forecast the drug efficacy of patients. Only through long-term drug therapy, can the blood pressure be effectively controlled.

DNA sequencing by hybridization (SBH) is an important method in bioinformatics, and it has been proved to be a NP-hard problem in combinatorial optimization. It has two demerits which are the lower precision of solution and the lower speed of convergence in serial ACO?tabu search and evolutionary algorithm for DNA sequencing by hybridization. In this paper an improved parallel ACO algorithm (IPACO) was proposed for DNA sequencing by hybridization in this paper. It shows a better performance compared with serial ACO?tabu search and evolutionary algorithm in precision and convergence based on the experiments.

This paper studies the bitonic merge sort algorithm which is difficult to get the prospective sorted result for some odd sequence. We develop a new parallel sorting algorithm, increasing CCI (compare and conditionally interchange) operations, derived from the odd merge sort algorithm. The proposed algorithm is based on a divide-and-conquer strategy. First of all, the sequence to be sorted is decomposed in several groups that are sorted in parallel. After that, all groups are merged into a final, sorted sequence. Therefore, any odd bitonic sequence can be correctly sorted with the mended algorithm. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the computational complexity of the new algorithm and compares it with that of other well-known parallel sorting algorithms. It does not increase memory consumption, and keep the same complexity. Analytic results are compared with those of the sequential algorithm and parallel implementations of other sorting algorithms, obtaining that our proposal outperforms the other solutions.
