In the fight against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) serve as key strategies for the rapid prevention and treatment of COVID-19. However, analysis to fully characterize functional SARS-CoV-2 mAbs is still needed. In this study, by interrogating 1,695 published or patented mAbs of human origin and validated SARS-CoV-2-binding potency, we found a highly preferential usage of IGHV3-53/3-66 germline genes that was then revealed as a distinct selectivity of SARS-CoV-2-induced humoral immunity across other coronaviruses. Moreover, among the rare somatic hypermutations, we identified a novel mutation signature of F27 to I, L, or V with high frequency, which was located in the CDR1 region of the heavy chain among IGHV3-53/3-66-encoded antibodies. This convergent mutation contributed to improving SARS-CoV-2 binding affinity and may advance our knowledge of the humoral immunity to SARS-CoV-2.

Pyrolytic carbon black (CBp) is the main by-product of waste tire pyrolysis. CBp has high ash content and poor surface activity which leads to the composites reinforced with CBp has lower performance than composites reinforced with commercial carbon black, making it difficult to meet the requirements of tire. In order to realize the application of CBp in tires, the effect of surfactants on the properties of rubber composites prepared by wet mixing of CBp/natural latex was investigated. In the experimental process, sodium stearate (C17H35COONa), sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (C18H29NaO3S), and sodium p-styrenesulfonate (C8H7NaO3S) were used to improve the surface activity and uniform dispersion of the CBp in the natural rubber matrix. The experimental results showed that the dispersity of C18H29NaO3S and C8H7NaO3S modified CBp in rubber matrix has [X] and [Y] values of 7.5 and 7.9, and 9.3 and 9.5, respectively, and the dispersion of these rubber composites is significantly better than that of C17H35COONa. The rubber composites prepared by C18H29NaO3S and C8H7NaO3S surfactants has the better physical and mechanical properties. The rubber composite prepared by C18H29NaO3S has the highest tensile strength of 25.63 MPa, which increment in tensile strength is 15.6% compare to the rubber composite prepared by C17H35COONa. Meanwhile the dynamic mechanical properties of rubber composites prepared by modifying CBp with C18H29NaO3S and C8H7NaO3S are better than CBp with C17H35COONa. The C8H7NaO3S modified CBp/rubber composite has the lowest loss factor (tanδ) value at 60°C, and the C18H29NaO3S modified CBp/rubber composite has the highest tanδ value at 0°C.

Doubled haploid (DH) technology is important in modern maize breeding. Haploid inducers determine the efficiency of both haploid induction and identification. It has taken decades to improve the efficiency, haploid induction rate (HIR), from the ∼2% of the ancestor haploid inducer, stock6, to the ∼10% of modern haploid inducers. Improvement of kernel oil content (KOC) would further enhance haploid identification efficiency. Using molecular marker-assisted selection, in combine with the number of haploids per ear as phenotypic criterion, we developed a new high-oil haploid inducer line, CHOI4, with a mean HIR of 15.8% and mean KOC of 11%. High KOC of CHOI4 can achieve a mean accuracy greater than 90% in identification of haploids of different backgrounds, with reduced false discovery rates and false negative rates in comparison with the previous high-oil haploid inducer line, CHOI3. Comparison of phenotypic selection strategies suggested that the number of haploids per ear can be used as a phenotyping criterion during haploid inducer line development. CHOI4 could further increase the efficiency of large-scale DH breeding programs with lower cost.

Abstract The current COVID-19 pandemic has heavily burdened the global public health system and may keep simmering for years. The frequent emergence of immune escape variants have spurred the search for prophylactic vaccines and therapeutic antibodies that confer broad protection against SARS-CoV-2 variants. Here we show that the bivalency of an affinity maturated fully human single-domain antibody (n3113.1-Fc) exhibits exquisite neutralizing potency against SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus, and confers effective prophylactic and therapeutic protection against authentic SARS-CoV-2 in the host cell receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) humanized mice. The crystal structure of n3113 in complex with the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of SARS-CoV-2, combined with the cryo-EM structures of n3113 and spike ecto-domain, reveals that n3113 binds to the side surface of up-state RBD with no competition with ACE2. The binding of n3113 to this novel epitope stabilizes spike in up-state conformations but inhibits SARS-CoV-2 S mediated membrane fusion, expanding our recognition of neutralization by antibodies against SARS-CoV-2. Binding assay and pseudovirus neutralization assay show no evasion of recently prevalent SARS-CoV-2 lineages, including Alpha (B.1.1.7), Beta (B.1.351), Gamma (P.1), and Delta (B.1.617.2) for n3113.1-Fc with Y58L mutation, demonstrating the potential of n3113.1-Fc (Y58L) as a promising candidate for clinical development to treat COVID-19.

Silica is an excellent reinforcing material and has been widely used in the rubber tire field. Silica can improve the wet grip performance and reduce rolling resistance. However, the application of silica in high-performance tires have been put forward with higher requirements due to the difficulties of dispersion, high heat generation, temperature sensitivity, and easy gel generation in the mixing process. To solve the above problems, nanocarbon-coated silica (silica@nanocarbon, SN) was proposed as a new reinforcing material in this paper. Nanocarbon coating prepared by pyrolysis of polyethylene. The hydroxyl groups on the surface of SN disappeared. Then, the new material was applied to the rubber composite, and the experimental results show that the curing time (t90) of the SN filled rubber compounds can be shortened. SN can improve the thermal conductivity of rubber compounds, and the compound has better dynamic mechanical properties. It also provides a feasible exploration for the application of modified silica in high-performance tires.

The worldwide pandemic of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) that emerged in late December 2019 requires the urgent development of therapeutic options. So far, numerous studies have investigated and uncovered the underlying epidemiology and clinical characteristics of COVID-19 infections in order to develop effective drugs. Compared with antiviral small-molecule inhibitors, biotherapeutics have unique advantages such as fewer side effects by virtue of their high specificity, and thus can be rapidly developed for promising treatments of COVID-19. Here, we summarize potential biotherapeutics and their mechanisms of action, including convalescent plasma, therapeutic antibodies, peptides, engineered ACE2, interferons, cytokine inhibitors, and RNAi-based therapeutics, and discuss in depth the advancements and precautions for each type of biotherapeutics in the treatment of COVID-19.

Spent Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) Catalyst is a major waste in the field of the petroleum processing field, with a large output and serious pollution. The treatment cost of these waste catalysts is high, and how to achieve their efficient reuse has become a key topic of research at home and abroad. To this end, this paper conducted a mechanistic and experimental study on the replacement of some carbon blacks by spent FCC catalysts for the preparation of rubber products and explored the synergistic reinforcing effect of spent catalysts and carbon blacks, in order to extend the reuse methods of spent catalysts and reduce the pollution caused by them to the environment. The experimental results demonstrated that the filler dispersion and distribution in the compound are more uniform after replacing the carbon black with modified spent FCC catalysts. The crosslinking density of rubber increases, the Payne effect is decreased, and the dynamic mechanical properties and aging resistance are improved. When the number of replacement parts reached 15, the comprehensive performance of the rubber composites remained the same as that of the control group. In this paper, the spent FCC catalysts modified by the physical method instead of the carbon-black-filled SBR can not only improve the performance of rubber products, but also can provide basic technical and theoretical support to realize the recycling of spent FCC catalysts and reduce the environmental pressure. The feasibility of preparing rubber composites by spent catalysts is also verified.

ABSTRACTThe newly identified 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has caused more than 11,900 laboratory-confirmed human infections, including 259 deaths, posing a serious threat to human health. Currently, however, there is no specific antiviral treatment or vaccine. Considering the relatively high identity of receptor-binding domain (RBD) in 2019-nCoV and SARS-CoV, it is urgent to assess the cross-reactivity of anti-SARS CoV antibodies with 2019-nCoV spike protein, which could have important implications for rapid development of vaccines and therapeutic antibodies against 2019-nCoV. Here, we report for the first time that a SARS-CoV-specific human monoclonal antibody, CR3022, could bind potently with 2019-nCoV RBD (KD of 6.3 nM). The epitope of CR3022 does not overlap with the ACE2 binding site within 2019-nCoV RBD. These results suggest that CR3022 may have the potential to be developed as candidate therapeutics, alone or in combination with other neutralizing antibodies, for the prevention and treatment of 2019-nCoV infections. Interestingly, some of the most potent SARS-CoV-specific neutralizing antibodies (e.g. m396, CR3014) that target the ACE2 binding site of SARS-CoV failed to bind 2019-nCoV spike protein, implying that the difference in the RBD of SARS-CoV and 2019-nCoV has a critical impact for the cross-reactivity of neutralizing antibodies, and that it is still necessary to develop novel monoclonal antibodies that could bind specifically to 2019-nCoV RBD.

Abstract Background In vivo haploid induction (HI) based on Stock6-derived inducer lines has been the most prevalent means of producing haploids. Nevertheless, the biological mechanism of HI is not fully understood, the twin-embryo kernels had been found during haploid induction, which may provide potential evidence for the abnormal double fertilization during HI. Results We investigated twin-embryo frequency in progenies of different haploid inducers. Results reveal that increasing the HI potential significantly improved the frequency of twin-embryo kernels. Compared with the average twin-embryo kernel frequency (average frequency = 0.07%) among progenies pollinated by the haploid inducer line CAUHOI, the frequency of twin-embryo was improved to 0.16% in progenies pollinated by the haploid inducer line CAU5. This result was further confirmed by pollinating single hybrid ND5598 with four haploid inducers possessing differentiated HIRs, where twin-embryo frequency was highly correlated with HIR. Among 237 twin-embryo kernels, we identified 30 haploid twin-embryo kernels (12.66%), a frequency which was much greater than the average HI rate for three other inducer lines (frequency range 2–10%). In addition, aneuploids, occurred at high frequency (8 in 41 twin plants). This level of aneuploidy provides new insight into the abnormal double fertilization during HI. Moreover, we observed differences in growth rate between twin plants in the field, as 4.22% of the twin plants grew at a significantly different rate. Both simple sequence repeats markers (SSR) and 3072 SNP-chip genotyping results revealed that > 90% of the twin plants shared the same origin, and the growth difference could be attributed to aneuploidy, competition for nutrients, and possible hormone regulation. Conclusion These results demonstrate that an enhanced HI ability can increase twin-embryo kernel frequency, and high frequency of both haploid twin-embryo kernels and aneuploidy observed in this research give us new insights to understand the mechanism of both HI and abnormal embryogenesis.

ABSTRACT: Background: Poor ovarian responders generally refer to patients who respond poorly to ovarian stimulation for assisted reproductive techniques (ART) such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and hence experience low live birth rate. Various controlled ovarian stimulation (COS) protocols have been developed during the past 3 decades for IVF/ICSI to improve oocyte quality and ultimately live birth rate, to increase ovarian response in POR patients, and to reduce the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Both highly puri?ed human menopausal gonadotropin (hp-hMG) and recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) have been widely used for COS during IVF/ICSI. Their in?uence on treatment outcome in women undergoing IVF/ICSI hasbeen actively debated. Objectives: To compare highly purified human menopausal gonadotropin (hp-hMG) and recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone (rFSH) in patients with poor ovarian response undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist protocol. Methods: This retrospective cohort study included 60 patients with poor ovarian response (30 received hp-hMG and 30 received rFSH) undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist protocol. Pregnancy-related outcomes, ovarian response, oocyte, and embryo parameters were compared between the 2 groups. Additionally, serum insulin-like growth factor-1 and insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 levels on the day of oocyte retrieval were compared between the 2 groups. Results: The 2 treatments resulted in comparable numbers of oocytes retrieved and embryos, comparable oocyte retrieval rate, mature oocyte rate, and fertilization rate, and also comparable clinical pregnancy rates, implantation rates, and miscarriage rate. However, hp-hMG led to statistically insignificant higher viable embryo rate (54.0% vs 44.8%; P = 0.174) and live birth rate per pregnancy (16.7% vs 10%) versus rFSH. Finally, statistically significantly higher serum insulin-like growth factor-1 level (178.53 [13.70] ng/mL vs 164.93 [12.17] ng/mL; P = 0.01) and statistically insignificantly lower serum insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 level (19.53 [3.56] ng/mL vs the lower insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 level SD is (2.76 [20.83] ng/mL; P > 0.05) on the day of oocyte retrieval were associated with hp-hMG versus rFSH. Conclusions: hp-HMG and rFSH did not lead to significantly different treatment outcomes in patients with poor ovarian response undergoing in vitro fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection with a gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist protocol, although significantly higher serum insulin-like growth factor-1 level and insignificantly lower serum insulin-like growth factor binding protein-1 level on the day of oocyte retrieval associated with hp-HMG might suggest a beneficial endocrine environment. Background: Long noncoding RNA LINC00511 has been identified to be aberrant expression and may as a tumor oncogene in various carcinomas. However, the potential role of LINC00511 in the onset of Preeclampsia (PE) pathogenesis remains unexplored. Methods: Placental tissues from patients with PE were collected to detect expression levels of LINC00511 by qRT-PCR. Human HTR-8/SVneo trophoblast cell line was cultured, CCK-8 assay, wound healing assay and transwell assay were performed to determine the regulation of trophoblast biological function by LINC00511. Bioinformatics analysis, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), luciferases reporter assay were performed to verify the regulatory mechanism of LINC00511. Results: LINC00511 was aberrantly down-regulated in placental tissues of PE patients. Overexpression of LINC00511 promoted trophoblast cell proliferation, migration and invasion. The transcription factor AP2γ directly binds to the promoter region of LINC00511 to activate transcription. In addition, LINC00511 was enriched in cytoplasm and functioned as a molecular spong for miR-29b-3p, antagonizing its ability to repress Cyr61 protein translation. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that AP2γ mediated downregulation of LINC00511 suppresses trophoblast invasion by regulating miR-29b-3p/ Cyr61 axis.

Dengue is the most widespread vector-borne viral disease caused by dengue virus (DENV) for which there are no safe, effective drugs approved for clinical use. Here, by using sequential antigen panning of a yeast antibody library derived from healthy donors against the DENV envelop protein domain III (DIII) combined with depletion by an entry defective DIII mutant, we identified a cross-reactive human monoclonal antibody (mAb), m366.6, which bound with high affinity to DENV DIII from all four DENV serotypes. Immunogenetic analysis indicated that m366.6 is a germline-like mAb with very few somatic mutations from the closest VH and Vλ germline genes. Importantly, we demonstrated that it potently neutralized DENV both in vitro and in the mouse models of DENV infection without detectable antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE) effect. The epitope of m366.6 was mapped to the highly conserved regions on DIII, which may guide the design of effective dengue vaccine immunogens. Furthermore, as the first germline-like mAb derived from a naïve antibody library that could neutralize all four DENV serotypes, the m366.6 can be a tool for exploring mechanisms of DENV infection, and is a promising therapeutic candidate.

In animals, muscle growth is a quantitative trait controlled by multiple genes. Previously, we showed that the transient receptor potential channel 1 (TRPC1) gene was differentially expressed in muscle tissues between pig breeds with divergent growth traits base on RNA-seq. Here, we characterized TRPC1 expression profiles in different tissues and pig breeds and showed that TRPC1 was highly expressed in the muscle. We found two single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (C-1763T and C-1604T) in TRPC1 that could affect the promoter region activity and regulate pig growth rate. Functionally, we used RNAi and overexpression to illustrate that TRPC1 promotes myoblast proliferation, migration, differentiation, fusion, and muscle hypertrophy while inhibiting muscle degradation. These processes may be mediated by the activation of Wnt signaling pathways. Altogether, our results revealed that TRPC1 might promote muscle growth and development and plays a key role in Wnt-mediated myogenesis.

The disposal of used automobile tires is a major waste concern. Simply stacking tires and allowing them to decompose will harbor breeding mosquitoes that spread viruses, whereas burning them will release acidic and toxic gases. Therefore, one viable option is pyrolysis, where elevated temperatures are used to facilitate the decomposition of a material. However, the lack of theoretical support for pyrolysis technology limits the development of the pyrolysis industry when it comes to discarded tires. The purpose of this research is to put forward a brand-new multi-kinetic research method for studying materials with complex components through the discussion of various kinetic research methods. The characteristic of this kinetic research method is that it is a relatively complete theoretical system and can accurately calculate the three kinetic factors considered during the pyrolysis of multicomponent materials. The results show that the multi-kinetic research method can obtain the kinetic equation and reaction mechanism for the pyrolysis of tires with high accuracy. The pyrolysis process of this compound was divided into two stages, Reaction I and II, where the kinetic equation of Reaction I was f ( α ) = 0.2473 α − 3.0473 , with an activation energy of 155.26 kJ/mol and a pre-exponential factor of 5.88 × 109/min. Meanwhile, the kinetic equation of Reaction II was f ( α ) = 0.4142 ( 1 − α ) [ − ln ( 1 − α ) ] − 1.4143 , while its activation energy was 315.40 kJ/mol and its pre-exponential factor was 7.86 × 1017/min. Furthermore, based on the results of the research analysis, the reaction principles corresponding to Reaction I and Reaction II in the pyrolysis process of this compound were established.

Carbon fiber significantly enhances the mechanical, thermal and electrical properties of rubber composites, which are widely used in aerospace, military, national defense and other cutting-edge fields. The preparation of a high-performance carbon fiber rubber composite has been a research hotspot, because the surface of carbon fiber is smooth, reactive inert and has a poor adhesion with rubber. In this paper, a high-performance rubber composite is prepared by mixing dopamine-modified staple carbon fiber with natural latex, and the mechanisms of modified carbon fiber-reinforced natural latex composite are explored. The experimental results show that the surface-modified staple carbon fiber forms uniform and widely covered polydopamine coatings, which significantly improve the interface adhesion between the carbon fiber and the rubber matrix. Meanwhile, when the concentration of dopamine is 1.5 g/L and the staple carbon fiber is modified for 6h, the carbon fiber rubber composite shows excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and dynamic mechanical properties, and its tensile strength is 10.6% higher than that of the unmodified sample.

Short fiber reinforced rubber composites have been widely used in rubber products attributed to their excellent wear resistance. However, there are still some serious problems in the processing of short fiber reinforced rubber composites, such as Mooney viscosity increasing, temperature and extrusion pressure rising, and unstable extrusion quality. In particular, short fibers need to be extruded in a specific direction during the molding process, and the problems in this process are particularly prominent. In this manuscript, the influence of gear pump assisted extrusion on the properties of short fiber rubber composites is studied. The experimental results show that the application of a gear pump to assist extrusion could significantly increase the die pressure, reduce the extrusion temperature of the blend, and improve the extrusion efficiency and stability of the blend. Furthermore, it could improve the vulcanization efficiency, increase the tensile strength and tear strength of the compound, reduce wear, and guarantee the quality of extrusion products.

In the tire industry, the combination of carbon black and silica is commonly utilized to improve the comprehensive performance of natural rubber so as to realize the best performance and cost-effectiveness. The corresponding mixing is divided into three processes (initial mixing, delivery, reactive mixing) by the serial modular continuous mixing method, thus achieving more accurate control of the mixing process, higher production efficiency and better performance. Moreover, the optimization of serial modular continuous mixing process parameters can not only improve the performance of composite materials, but help people understand the physical and chemical changes and the reinforcing mechanism of fillers in the mixing process. In this paper, the relationship among the parameters of eight processes and filler network structure, tensile strength, chemical reinforcing effect and tear resistance was explored through experiments. The deep causes of performance changes caused by parameters were analyzed. Consequently, the best process condition and the ranking of the influencing factors for a certain performance was obtained. Furthermore, the best preparation process of natural rubber (NR)/carbon black/silica composite was achieved through comprehensive analysis.

In order to efficiently prepare high-performance silica/rubber composites for use in the tread of semi-steel radial tires, a serial modular continuous mixer was designed according to the principle of modular functionalization. The modular structure and serial process helped control the accuracy of the silanization reaction. Synchronous four-wing serrated rotors and reverse meshing reaction mixing twin-rotors utilized shear flow and elongation flow to improve the dispersion. In this paper, the mechanism of serial modular continuous mixing was analyzed, and the influence of the core reaction mixing zone (various mixing elements) on silica-filled compounds was investigated by cooling visualization experiments, including dispersion, and the silanization reaction degree. Meanwhile, a comparative experiment between serial mixing and two-stage mixing was conducted, which showed that the serial process comprehensively improved the dispersion, mechanical properties, and dynamic mechanical properties of silica/rubber vulcanizate.

With the continuous increase in the production of electronic devices, large amounts of electronic waste (E-waste) are routinely being discarded into the environment. This causes serious environmental and ecological problems because of the non-degradable polymers, released hazardous chemicals, and toxic heavy metals. The appearance of biodegradable polymers, which can be degraded or dissolved into the surrounding environment with no pollution, is promising for effectively relieving the environmental burden. Additionally, biodegradable polymers are usually biocompatible, which enables electronics to be used in implantable biomedical applications. However, for some specific application requirements, such as flexibility, electric conductivity, dielectric property, gas and water vapor barrier, most biodegradable polymers are inadequate. Recent research has focused on the preparation of nanocomposites by incorporating nanofillers into biopolymers, so as to endow them with functional characteristics, while simultaneously maintaining effective biodegradability and biocompatibility. As such, bionanocomposites have broad application prospects in electronic devices. In this paper, emergent biodegradable and biocompatible polymers used as insulators or (semi)conductors are first reviewed, followed by biodegradable and biocompatible nanocomposites applied in electronics as substrates, (semi)conductors and dielectrics, as well as electronic packaging, which is highlighted with specific examples. To finish, future directions of the biodegradable and biocompatible nanocomposites, as well as the challenges, that must be overcome are discussed.

The bidirectional DC-DC converter serves a vital role in the energy recovery system of new energy vehicles. However, external interference and parameter uncertainty can easily affect its dynamic performance. A disturbance observer-based fixed time control strategy for bidirectional DC-DC is proposed to address the impact of input voltage and load uncertainty on bidirectional converters. Firstly, the bidirectional converter model undergoes coordinate transformation, and disturbance observers are designed to compensate for input voltage and load disturbances. Secondly, based on the fixed time control theory, a fixed-time controller is devised for the bidirectional DC-DC converter to facilitate fast tracking and adjustment of output voltage without requiring measurement of input voltage and load current. Finally, simulation and experiment evaluations are conducted to assess the proposed scheme's effectiveness in output voltage regulation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background Locked-in syndrome (LiS) is a rare and devastating condition in patients with acute basilar artery occlusion. However, the benefits of endovascular treatment (EVT) for LiS remain unclear. Objective To assess the outcomes associated with EVT and identify the factors associated with outcomes of LiS. Methods We used the data of the Endovascular Treatment for Acute Basilar Artery Occlusion Study Registry (BASILAR) from 47 tertiary stroke centers in China. The included patients had LiS and received EVT or standard medical treatment (SMT) alone. The primary outcome was improvement in the modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score at 90 days. Results Among the 120 patients with LiS, 92 (76.7%) received EVT and 28 (23.3%) received SMT. Compared with SMT, EVT was associated with improved mRS score (common OR (cOR)=2.68 (95% CI 1.16 to 6.20); p=0.02) and decreased mortality (a0R=0.35 (95% CI 0.13 to 0.90); p=0.03). Moreover, the benefit of EVT for LiS was sustained for at least 1 year (p=0.008). Higher baseline posterior circulation Alberta Stroke Prognosis Early CT Score (pc-ASPECTS, a0R=2.04 (95% CI 1.34 to 3.10); p<0.001) and absence of pneumonia (a0R=0.26 (95% CI 0.08 to 0.90); p=0.03) were significantly associated with favorable functional outcome at 90 days in patients who received EVT, while lower pc-ASPECTS (a0R=0.52 (95% CI 0.36 to 0.76); p<0.001) was associated with increased 90-day mortality. Conclusions This study found that EVT was associated with favorable functional outcomes and decreased mortality among patients with LiS.
