Abstract Apple moldy core is a fungus-infested disease that is extremely insidious, usually occurring inside the fruit, making it very difficult to distinguish from the exterior with the naked eye. Using VIS/NIR transmission spectroscopy, this study successfully detected moldy core apples. By combining four wavelength selection algorithms (CARS, CARS-SPA, MC-UVE, and MC-UVE-SPA) with four classifiers (SVM, ELM, KNN, and LDA-KNN), discrimination models were established for two-class and three-class classifications. MC-UVE-SPA-LDA-KNN achieved an AUC of 0.99 and an accuracy of 98.82% for two-class classification, while MC-UVE-SPA achieved an AUC of 0.99 and an accuracy of 97.64% for three-class classification. This confirms MC-UVE-SPA as an effective tool for selecting wavelengths specific to moldy core apples, facilitating precise identification and differentiation of apple states. This study advances dynamic online detection of early-stage moldy core conditions in apples, reducing post-harvest disease occurrence and preserving fruit quality effectively. Graphical Abstract

Lilium lancifolium Thunb (L. lancifolium) is an important medicinal and edible plant with outstanding functionality for selenium (Se) biofortification. However, the molecular response of L. lancifolium to exogenous Se has not been fully elucidated. In this study, the effects of different levels of Se on L. lancifolium growth and quality were explored by transcriptome, metabolome and biochemical analyses. The results showed that the total Se and organic Se content in L. lancifolium bulbs increased with increasing Se dosage (0–8.0 mmol/L). Moreover, Se stimulated the growth of L. lancifolium at low level (2.0 mmol/L) but showed an inhibitory effect at high levels (≥4.0 mmol/L). Metabolomic and biochemical analyses revealed that the bulb weight and the content of amino acid, soluble sugar, and soluble protein were significantly increased in the 2.0 mmol/L Se treatment compared with those in the control (0 mmol/L Se). Transcriptome and metabolome analyses revealed that the significant upregulation of the GPD1, GPAT and ADPRM genes promoted glycerophospholipid accumulation. Additionally, the significantly upregulated glyA and downregulated asnB, nadB, thrA and SAT genes coordinate to the regulation of amino acid biosynthesis. The significantly upregulated SUS, bgl B, BAM, and SGA1 genes were involved in soluble sugar accumulation under Se treatment. In summary, this study identified the optimal Se concentration (2.0 mmol/L), which significantly improved the growth and nutritional quality of L. lancifolium and contributed to understanding the combined effects of Se treatment on the expression of genes and the accumulation of metabolites in L. lancifolium bulbs.

AbstractContext Da-Yuan-Yin is a Chinese traditional prescription.Objective This study explores the therapeutic effects of the Da-Yuan-Yin decoction polyphenol fraction (DYY-4) on acute lung injury (ALI) in mice induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS).Materials and methods The mice (n = 10) were orally administrated with DYY-4 (15, 30, and 60 mg/kg) or DXM (5 mg/kg), half an hour after LPS (2 mg/kg) instilled intratracheally. We propose a highly birefringent, single-polarization composite structured anti-resonant fiber (CS-ARF). The proposed CS-ARF has an elliptical core, two symmetrically spaced arrays of elliptical air holes, and a six-tube anti-resonant structure. The birefringence and single-polarization characteristics of the proposed CS-ARF were analyzed in detail in the mid-infrared band using the finite element analysis method. The results show that the fiber can achieve birefringence up to the order of 10−2 and single-polarization transmission with a confinement loss (CL) below 10−5 dB/m in the mid-infrared band. When the refractive index of the elliptical core is set at na = 2.70, the designed CS-ARF maintains single polarization in the range of 2.5 μm to 3.197 μm with an extinction ratio of up to 1.08 × 107. In addition, we found that by setting the refractive index of the elliptical core, the CL in the y-polarization direction can be effectively adjusted.

The focus of this paper is to investigate the damage characteristics and protective structure design of pontoons as an important barrier for the protection of ports. Two types of protective measures of pontoons are investigated：filling tanks with water and installing springs in tanks. In this paper, the damage characteristics of two types of pontoon side structures under the action of near-field explosion loads are simulated by using LS-DYNA explicit dynamic analysis software and the ALE algorithm. According to the numerical experiment results for filling different volumes of water in the side tanks, the volume of water for the minimum deformation of the shell plate is 100%, and for the first longitudinal bulkhead, it is 30-40%. Moreover, by applying weights to their deformations based on the actual explosion-proof performance requirements of the shell plate and the first longitudinal bulkhead, the pontoon side structure with the best explosion-proof performance can be obtained. The plastic deformation of the pontoon structure equipped with different types of springs is an order of magnitude smaller than that of the ordinary structure and of the pontoon structure filled with a water medium in the positive tanks. The explosive shock wave energy absorbed by the pontoon is effectively reduced by the addition of water or springs to the protective tanks. The minimum energy absorbed by the pontoon structure with water added in the protective tanks is 18.31% of the energy absorbed by the ordinary structure, and the corresponding volume ratio of water added in the protective tanks is 100%. The pontoon structure with springs in the side protection tanks absorbs only 7.2% of the energy absorbed by the ordinary structure. Both new side protection structures have demonstrated excellent explosion-proof performance.

Here, we firstly utilize a newly explored 1.6 μm harmonic dissipative soliton resonance (DSR) pulses as a pump source to realize a highly efficient gain-switched thulium fiber laser at 1719.52 nm. The 1.6 μm DSR pulses with a fundamental repetition rate of 360 kHz were produced from a nonlinear amplifying loop mirror (NALM) ring cavity, which directly output high power mode-locking pulses due to freedom of soliton-area limitation and pulse breaking. The harmonic mode-locking (HML) operation was achieved by properly adjusting the polarization controllers (PCs). The thulium fiber laser cavity constructed by a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) pair was resonantly (in-band) pumped by the 1.6 μm harmonic DSR pulses. Taking the merit of the strong absorption of Tm3+ at 1.6 μm and the laser cavity having a low insert loss, the 1.7 μm gain-switched fiber laser with the maximum repetition rate of 2.16 MHz, corresponding to the average power of 2.826 W and the pulse energy of 1.33 μJ, was obtained at a high slope efficiency of about 71.9%. The maximum output power could exceed 3 W with a high slope efficiency of over 70%, which is the record in 1.7 μm all-fiber pulsed thulium lasers.

Codonopsis tangshen Oliv (C. tangshen) is an important Chinese traditional medicinal plant with various health benefits. However, the growth of C. tangshen are seriously affected by continuous cropping, which led to the decrease of the yield and quality. A field experiment was conducted to learn the effects of soil amendments on the growth of C. tangshen under continuous cropping condition, and the biological events which occurred at molecular level were investigated. The results indicated that the content of chlorophyll a (Chl a), chlorophyll b (Chl b), and carotenoid (Car) was significantly higher in SCPM (silicon-calcium-potassium-magnesium fertilizer), SCPMA (SCPM combined with azoxystrobin) and SCPMAOM (SCPM combined with azoxystrobin and organic manure) treatments. Moreover, the yield and the levels of alkaloid, polysaccharide, flavone and total protein in the treatments of SCPM, SCPMA and SCPMAOM were significantly higher than those in the control, and these indexes were all highest in the SCPMAOM treatment. RNA-sequencing (RNA-Seq) is an economical and efficient method to obtain genetic information for species with or without available genome data. In this study, RNA-Seq was performed to understand how continuously cropped C. tangshen responded to the soil amendments at the transcriptome level. The number of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were as follows: CK vs. SCPM (719 up- and 1456 down-), CK vs. SCPMA (1302 up- and 1748 down-), CK vs. SCPMAOM (1274 up- and 1678 down-). The soil amendments affected the growth of C. tangshen mainly by regulating the genes involved in pathways of ‘photosynthesis,’ ‘plant hormone signal transduction,’ ‘biosynthesis of unsaturated fatty acids,’ ‘phenylpropanoid biosynthesis,’ and ‘starch and sucrose metabolism,’ etc. qRT-PCR was performed to validate the expressions of 10 target genes such as CP26, PsaF, and POX, etc., which verified the reliability of RNA-Seq results. Overall, this study revealed the roles and underlying mechanisms of the soil amendments in regulating the growth of continuously cropped C. tangshen at transcriptome level. These findings are beneficial for improving the continuous cropping tolerance and may be valuable for future genetic improvement of C. tangshen.

A highly birefringent and low-loss hollow-core anti-resonant fiber (HC-ARF) based on a hybrid guidance mechanism is proposed and investigated by using a finite element method. The hybrid guidance mechanism is caused by the anti-resonance effect and the total internal reflection effect. The proposed HC-ARF is obtained by employing twin symmetrical and mutually tangential elliptical arc anti-resonance layers (EA-ARLs) in a conventional 8-tube HC-ARF. Because of the anti-resonance mechanism and the total internal reflection mechanism in the EA-ARL, mode coupling appears between the core mode and the cladding mode. Simulation results indicate that the proposed HC-ARF can achieve birefringence as high as 10−2 in a near-infrared range of 1400 nm to 1600 nm and a low confinement loss (CL) of 7.74 × 10−4 dB/m (9.26 × 10−4 dB/m) for x- and y-polarization components of the fundamental mode (FM) at 1550 nm. In addition, the existence of the 8-tube anti-resonance structure in the cladding significantly suppresses the CL of the x-polarization component of the FM significantly, but the impact on the CL of the y-polarization FM can be ignored, which is determined mainly by the twin EA-ARLs. Furthermore, the performance of the birefringence and CL are also investigated by changing the values of other fiber structure parameters. Our proposed structure successfully shows the ability of the hybrid guidance mechanism in the application of CL manipulation of orthogonal polarization components.

The growth and development of Codonopsis tangshen, an important herb used in Chinese traditional medicine, have been seriously affected by continuous cropping obstacles. Therefore, understanding the molecular responses of C. tangshen to continuous cropping is imperative to improve its resistance to continuous cropping obstacles. Here, physiological and biochemical results showed that the levels of chlorophyll and malonaldehyde (MDA) were higher in the continuous cropping (LZ) group compared with those of the non-continuous cropping (FLZ) group, while superoxide dismutase (SOD) content was lower in the LZ group than in the FLZ group. Tandem mass tag (TMT)-based proteomic analysis was performed to investigate the response mechanism to continuous cropping obstacles in C. tangshen. A total of 70 differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) were significantly involved in relevant pathways, including photosynthesis, oxidative phosphorylation, ribosome activity, and secondary metabolites. The results suggest that these DEPs in C. tangshen might play a critical role in response to continuous cropping. These findings could provide scientific basis for improving C. tangshen’s resistance to continuous cropping obstacles.

Codonopsis tangshen Oliv (C. tangshen) is a valuable traditional Chinese medicinal herb with tremendous health benefits. However, the growth and development of C. tangshen are seriously affected by high temperatures. Therefore, understanding the molecular responses of C. tangshen to high-temperature stress is imperative to improve its thermotolerance. Here, RNA-Seq analysis was performed to investigate the genome-wide transcriptional changes in C. tangshen in response to short-term heat stress. Heat stress significantly damages membrane stability and chlorophyll biosynthesis in C. tangshen, as evidenced by pronounced malonaldehyde (MDA), electrolyte leakage (EL), and reduced chlorophyll content. Transcriptome analysis showed that 2691 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified, including 1809 upregulated and 882 downregulated. Functional annotations revealed that the DEGs were mainly related to heat shock proteins (HSPs), ROS-scavenging enzymes, calcium-dependent protein kinases (CDPK), HSP-HSP network, hormone signaling transduction pathway, and transcription factors such as bHLHs, bZIPs, MYBs, WRKYs, and NACs. These heat-responsive candidate genes and TFs could significantly regulate heat stress tolerance in C. tangshen. Overall, this study could provide new insights for understanding the underlying molecular mechanisms of thermotolerance in C. tangshen.

The anti-fibrotic activity of flavonoids from Eupatorium lindleyanum DC (EL) remains unclear. Our results showed that flavones from the plant exerted a stronger inhibitory effect than flavonols, and eupafolin presented the highest activity on lung fibroblast differentiation. Eupafolin weakened the levels of α-smooth muscle actin, the production of type I collagen and fibronectin, fibroblast-containing gel contractility and microfilament formation in transforming growth factor-β1-induced lung fibroblasts. Interestingly, eupafolin did not affect the canonical TGF-β/Smad2/3 pathway. Eupafolin reduced the levels of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), and pharmacological inhibition and knockdown of PAI-1 mitigated the differentiation of lung fibroblasts. Finally, β-catenin agonist, SKL2001, reversed the suppressive effect of eupafolin on PAI-1 expression and lung fibroblast differentiation. Therefore, flavones have higher anti-fibrotic activity than flavonols obtained from EL, and eupafolin suppressed lung fibroblast differentiation by downregulating β-catenin/PAI-1 signaling rather than the canonical TGF-β/Smad2/3 pathway.

Soluble solids content (SSC) is a vital evaluation index for the internal quality of apples, and NIR spectroscopy is the preferred technique for predicting the SSC of apples. Due to the differences in fruits’ sizes, their SSC prediction models have poor robustness and low prediction accuracy, so it is important to eliminate the effects brought by the differences in fruit sizes to improve the accuracy of fruit sorting models. The NIR spectra of apples with different fruit sizes were collected by applying NIR spectroscopy online detection device, and after various preprocessing of the spectra, the partial least squares (PLS) models of apple SSC were established, respectively, and then the modeling set in the apple fruit size group of 75 mm–85 mm was used to predict the prediction set samples in the apple fruit size group of 65 mm–75 mm and 85 mm–95 mm, respectively. To better address the effects of apple size differences, data fusion techniques were used to perform an intermediate fusion of apple fruit diameter and spectra, firstly, the competitive adaptive reweighting algorithm (CARS) and the continuous projection algorithm (SPA) were used to select spectral variables and build their prediction models for apple SSC, respectively, and the results showed that the models built with 61 spectral variables selected by CARS had better performance, greatly reduced the amount of data involved in modeling, effectively simplified the model, and improved the stability of the model. The apple size variables were added to the wavelength variables selected by CARS, and the data were normalized to establish a PLS model of apple SSC with the normalized spectral and apple fruit diameter data, and the results showed that the size compensation model based on intermediate fusion had the best prediction performance, with the prediction set Rp of 0.886 for fruit diameter of 65 mm–75 mm, RMSEP of 0.536%, and its prediction set Rp was 0.913 and RMSEP was 0.497% for the fruit diameter of 85 mm–95 mm. Therefore, adding the fruit diameter variable to establish the size-compensated model of apple SSC can improve the prediction performance of the model.

The transmission spectrum of apples is affected by the fruit’s size, which leads to poor prediction performance of the soluble solids content (SSC) models built for their different apple sizes. In this paper, three sets of near infrared (NIR) spectra of apples with various apple diameters were collected by applying NIR spectroscopy detection equipment to compare the spectra differences among various apple diameter groups. The NIR spectra of apples were corrected by studying the extinction rates within different apples. The corrected spectra were used to develop a partial least squares prediction model for their soluble solids content. Compared with the prediction model of the soluble solids content of apples without size correction, the Rp of PLSR improved from 0.769 to 0.869 and RMSEP declined from 0.990 to 0.721 in the small fruit diameter group; the Rp of PLSR improved from 0.787 to 0.932 and RMSEP declined from 0.878 to 0.531 in the large fruit diameter group. The proposed apple spectra correction method is effective and can be used to reduce the influence of sample diameter on NIR spectra.

Previous cDNA microarray results showed that MYH9 gene expression levels are increased in TGF-β1-stimulated lung fibroblast. Recently, our proteomic results revealed that the expression levels of MYH9 protein are notably upregulated in lung tissues of bleomycin-treated rats. However, whether MYH9 plays a critical role in the differentiation of fibroblast remains unclear. Herein, we demonstrated that TGF-β1 increased MYH9 expression, and siRNA-mediated knockdown of MYH9 and pharmacological inhibition of MYH9 ATPase activity remarkably repressed TGF-β1-induced lung fibroblast-to-myofibroblast differentiation. TGF-β1-stimulated MYH9 induction might be via ALK5/Smad2/3 pathway but not through noncanonical pathways, including p38 mitogen-activated kinase, and Akt pathways in lung fibroblasts. Our results showed that MYH9 inhibition suppressed TGF-β1-induced lung fibroblast-to-myofibroblast differentiation, which provides valuable information for illuminating the pathological mechanisms of lung fibroblast differentiation, and gives clues for finding new potential target for pulmonary fibrosis treatment.

Although we have reported that baicalein ameliorated bleomycin-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats and inhibited fibroblast-to-myofibroblast differentiation, the mechanisms of the capability of baicalein to suppress the production of type I collagen in fibroblasts remains unclear. Here, we showed that baicalein suppressed transforming growth factor β1 (TGF β1)-stimulated the production of type I collagen in lung fibroblast MRC-5 cells. By applying SILAC-based proteomic technology, 158 proteins were identified as baicalein-modulated proteins in TGF β1-stimulated the accumulation of type I collagen in MRC-5 cells. Our proteomic and biochemical analysis demonstrated that baicalein decreased the expression levels of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in TGF β1-stimulated MRC-5 cells. In addition, CTGF overexpression elevated the levels of type I collagen in baicalein-treated fibroblasts. Moreover, our results demonstrated that baicalein-downregulated CTGF expression might be related with the decrease of Smad2 phosphorylation, but not SP1. This work not only linked CTGF to TGF β1-stimulated the production of type I collagen in its attribution to the effects of baicalein, but also might provide valuable information for enhancing the knowledge of the pharmacological inhibition of collagen production, which might represent a promising strategy for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis.

The nondestructive discrimination model based on near-infrared is usually established by detected spectra and chemometric methods. However, the inherent differences between instruments prevent the model from being used universally, and calibration transfer is often used to solve these problems. Standard-sample calibration transfer requires additional standard samples to build a mathematical mapping between instruments. Thus, standard-free calibration transfer is a research hotspot in this field. Based on near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), the new combined strategy of wavelength selection and standard-free calibration transfer was proposed to transfer the model between two portable near-infrared spectrometers. Three transfer learning (TL) algorithms—transferred component analysis (TCA), balanced distribution adaptation (BDA), and manifold embedded distribution alignment (MEDA)—were applied to achieve standard-free calibration transfer. Moreover, this paper presents a relative error analysis (REA) method to select wavelength. To select the optimal model, the parameters of accuracy, precision, and recall were examined to evaluate the discriminatory capacities of each model. The findings show that the MEDA-REA model is capable of higher prediction accuracy (accuracy = 94.54%) than the other transferring models (TCA, BDA, MEDA, TCA-REA, and BDA-REA), and it is demonstrated that the new strategy has good transmission performance. Moreover, REA shows the potential to filter wavebands for calibration transfer and simplify the transferable model.

Groundwater velocity has significant effects on the formation of a frozen curtain during freezing. In order to study the influence of the velocity on a frozen curtain, a large physical model test platform was established for double-pipe freezing. Based on this platform, freezing tests for different velocities were carried out. Quartz sand was selected as a similar material. The freezing temperature of the saturated sand layer was found by analyzing the results of the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Based on the study of the thermal physical properties of the sand layer, the freezing test results were analyzed, and the results showed that the flow led to the differential development of the temperature between the upstream and downstream sections of the freezing pipes. Moreover, the larger the velocity, the greater the difference. The flow prolonged the overlapping time of the frozen curtains. Additionally, the flow slowed down the development of the frozen curtain area and the frozen curtain thickness. The larger the flow velocity, the greater the inhibition of the flow on the development of the frozen curtain. The test results can provide more references for the design and construction of freezing engineering with flowing groundwater.

Investigations were initiated to develop terahertz (THz) techniques associated with machine learning methods of generalized regression neural network (GRNN) and back-propagation neural network (BPNN) to rapidly measure benzoic acid (BA) content in wheat flour. The absorption coefficient exhibited a maximum absorption peak at 1.94 THz, which generally increased with the content of BA additive. THz spectra were transformed into orthogonal principal component analysis (PCA) scores as the input vectors of GRNN and BPNN models. The best GRNN model was achieved with three PCA scores and spread value of 0.2. Compared with the BPNN model, GRNN model to powder samples could be considered very successful for quality control of wheat flour with a correlation coefficient of prediction (rp) of 0.85 and root mean square error of prediction of 0.10%. The results suggest that THz technique association with GRNN has a significant potential to quantitatively analyse BA additive in wheat flour.

We demonstrate a mid-infrared (MIR) wavelength-tunable high-power single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) fiber laser using a compound cavity structure. The compound cavity consists of an Er-doped ZBLAN fiber perpendicularly cleaved at two-ends and an external cavity formed by a fiber end-face and a narrow bandwidth ruled reflective diffraction grating. SLM operation is achieved through the combined effects of the narrow bandwidth grating and the compound cavity. By rotating the grating, the laser wavelength can be continuously tuned over 100 nm from 2705 nm to 2806 nm with the SLM operation maintained. High output power up to 450 mW is achieved under the SLM regime.

The purpose of this study was to establish a method for monitoring the neural differentiation of stem cells using ferritin transgene expression, under the control of a neural-differentiation-inducible promoter, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Human adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells (hADMSCs) were transduced with a lentivirus containing the human ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) gene coupled to one of three neural cell-specific promoters: human synapsin 1 promoter (SYN1p, for neurons), human glial fibrillary acidic protein promoter (GFAPp, for astrocytes), and human myelin basic protein promoter (MBPp, for oligodendrocytes). Three groups of neural-differentiation-inducible ferritin-expressing (NDIFE) hADMSCs were established: SYN1p-FTH1, GFAPp-FTH1, and MBPp-FTH1. The proliferation rate of the NDIFE hADMSCs was evaluated using a Cell Counting Kit-8 assay. Ferritin expression was assessed with western blotting and immunofluorescent staining before and after the induction of differentiation in NDIFE hADMSCs. The intracellular iron content was measured with Prussian blue iron staining and inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. R2 relaxation rates were measured with MRI in vitro. The proliferation rates of control and NDIFE hADMSCs did not differ significantly (P > 0.05). SYN1p-FTH1, GFAPp-FTH1, and MBPp-FTH1 hADMSCs expressed specific markers of neurons, astrocytes, and oligodendrocytes, respectively, after neural differentiation. Neural differentiation increased ferritin expression twofold, the intracellular iron content threefold, and the R2 relaxation rate two- to threefold in NDIFE hADMSCs, resulting in notable hypointensity in T2-weighted images (P < 0.05). These results were cross-validated. Thus, a link between neural differentiation and MRI signals (R2 relaxation rate) was established in hADMSCs. The use of MRI and neural-differentiation-inducible ferritin expression is a viable method for monitoring the neural differentiation of hADMSCs.

Corpus cavernosum electromyography (CC-EMG) has been intensively studied as a potential clinical tool for evaluating the function of the cavernous smooth muscle and its autonomic innervations since 1989. Both basic and clinical studies have shown promising results. However, its application as a diagnostic tool with clinical relevance was hindered by insufficient knowledge of cavernous smooth muscle electrophysiology and a series of technical and practical difficulties. Recently, major progress has been made to overcome these difficulties. Multichannel monopolar recording method has been proved to be superior to traditional one or two-channel bipolar recording. Correlation techniques have been applied as a comprehensive, objective and easy-to-use method to analyze CC-EMG recordings. Using these newly developed techniques, CC-EMG has been demonstrated to be discriminative in erectile dysfunction patients with conditions that are associated with cavernous smooth muscle degeneration and/or autonomic neuropathy from men with normal erectile function. However, before CC-EMG can be used as a robust method for erectile dysfunction-diagnostics, some basic and clinical issues are still to be solved. This review presents an overview of the latest advances in CC-EMG studies, mainly focusing on the clinical application of this method as a diagnostic tool. Furthermore, the background knowledge of cavernous electrophysiology, the problems to be overcome and future perspectives are also discussed.

With the frequent occurrence of ship explosion accidents at sea, the safety of ships and crews has attracted much attention. At present, the research on crew injury is relatively weak. Consequently, the current study constructs a numerical model of the ship structure-crew-blast flow field to investigate the discrepancies in injury response of crew members across different sitting postures. LS-DYNA software is used for simulation and direct analysis to evaluate the damage of crew members in different positions under 100 kg TNT equivalent and 2 m blast distance conditions, and the relationship between different explosive equivalents and crew damage is analyzed. The results demonstrate that for crew members situated in working compartment, the injuries incurred across different sitting postures also differed. The lower leg and foot sections were at greater injury risks, while the head area was associated with minimal damage risks. Altering upper body postures of the crew human body had only a very small impact on lower extremity injuries. Moreover, positive correlations were exhibited between explosive equivalents and crew injury values. The temperature difference of fruit itself will affect its near infrared spectrum and the accuracy of its soluble solids content (SSC) prediction model. To eliminate the influence of apple temperature difference on the SSC model, a diffuse transmission dynamic online detection device was used to collect the spectral data of apples at different temperatures, and four methods were used to establish partial least squares correction models: global correction, orthogonal signal processing, generalized least squares weighting and external parameter orthogonal (EPO). The results show that the temperature has a strong influence on the diffuse transmission spectrum of apples. The 20 ºC model can get a satisfactory prediction result when the temperature is constant, and there will be great errors when detecting samples at other temperatures. The effect of temperature must be corrected to establish a more general model. These methods all improve the accuracy of the model, with the EPO method giving the best results; the prediction set correlation coefficient is 0.947, the root mean square error of prediction is 0.489%, and the prediction bias is 0.009%.
