Freshwater mussels of the tribe Gonideini (Bivalvia: Unionidae: Gonideinae) constitute one of the most taxonomically diverse groups and serve as keystone species in riverine and lacustrine ecosystems across East Asia. A new genus and species of Gonideini (Bivalvia: Unionidae) is described from Jiangxi, China, as Pseudopostolata angula gen. et sp. nov. based on an integrative analysis of shell morphology and molecular data. The validity of the new genus and species is supported by distinct conchological features: a short, rounded anterior; a long, wide posterior; a slightly downward-curved dorsal margin; and a distinctly obtuse angle at the center of the posterior margin. The multi-locus (COI + 16S rRNA + 28S rRNA) phylogeny showed that the species formed a monophyletic group in the tribe Gonideini of the subfamily Gonideinae. Pseudopostolata angula gen. et sp. nov. is identified as the sister group to a clade comprising the genera Postolata, Cosmopseudodon, Obovalis, Ptychorhynchus, Parvasolenaia, and Koreosolenaia. We emphasize the significant morphological convergence in freshwater mussels, particularly within Gonideini, highlighting the necessity of an integrated taxonomic approach for accurate generic classification of this group.

The Pearl River Basin, China’s second-largest freshwater basin, hosts a significant diversity of species and a highly endemic freshwater mussel fauna. In this study, a new species from the Liuxi River in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, Pletholophus guangzhouensis sp. nov., is described based on morphological diagnostic features and molecular phylogenetics. The glochidia shells of the new species are subtriangular, medium-sized, and have a styliform hook on the ventral angle of each valve. Phylogenetic analyses based on the COI and 28S rRNA gene fragments indicated that Pletholophus guangzhouensis sp. nov. is the sister to Pletholophus tenuis + Pletholophus reinianus. The pairwise uncorrected COI p-distance analysis demonstrated genetic distances ranging from 5.27% (between P. guangzhouensis sp. nov. and P. tenuis) to 11.06% (between P. guangzhouensis sp. nov. and P. honglinhensis). Our findings suggest a significant underestimation of the diversity of freshwater mussel species in Guangdong. Further field collections and systematic studies are necessary to fully explore the biodiversity of this region. Furthermore, integrative classification methods and genetic research are essential for informing the development of effective conservation strategies.

Our study contains the first molecular phylogeny of Chinese enids based on the mitochondrial markers cytochrome oxidase c (COI) and 16S rRNA (16S). We have sequenced 19 species belonging to 10 out of the 12 currently accepted genera. A new species, Petraeomastus limenghuai Chen, Dai, Wu & Ouyang, sp. nov., is described from the Lancangjiang River Valley in southwest China based on comparative morphology and molecular phylogeny. The currently accepted classification of Chinese enids relies largely on shell morphology and is deemed to require systematic revision.

Abstract Previous studies in small samples have identified inconsistent cortical abnormalities in major depressive disorder (MDD). Despite genetic influences on MDD and the brain, it is unclear how genetic risk for MDD is translated into spatially patterned cortical vulnerability. Here, we initially examined voxel-wise differences in cortical function and structure using the largest multi-modal MRI data from 1660 MDD patients and 1341 controls. Combined with the Allen Human Brain Atlas, we then adopted transcription-neuroimaging spatial correlation and the newly developed ensemble-based gene category enrichment analysis to identify gene categories with expression related to cortical changes in MDD. Results showed that patients had relatively circumscribed impairments in local functional properties and broadly distributed disruptions in global functional connectivity, consistently characterized by hyper-function in associative areas and hypo-function in primary regions. Moreover, the local functional alterations were correlated with genes enriched for biological functions related to MDD in general (e.g., endoplasmic reticulum stress, mitogen-activated protein kinase, histone acetylation, and DNA methylation); and the global functional connectivity changes were associated with not only MDD-general, but also brain-relevant genes (e.g., neuron, synapse, axon, glial cell, and neurotransmitters). Our findings may provide important insights into the transcriptomic signatures of regional cortical vulnerability to MDD.

A molecular phylogenetic study was conducted on genus Tropidauchenia, based on COI and 16S sequences. A total of six out of 18 species in the genus, as well as three species of Grandinenia and eight species of subfamily Synprosphyminae and Phaedusinae were sequenced. The phylogenetic results supported the monophyly of three Clausiliid subfamilies distributed in East Asia and demonstrated that Tropidauchenia was divided into two clades that corresponded to its two main distribution areas. A new species, Tropidauchenia jiangjilini Z.-G. Chen, Z.-Y. Chen & R.-X. Lin, sp. nov., from Guangdong, southern China, has been identified and described based on morphological comparison and molecular phylogeny. The discovery expanded the distribution range of Tropidauchenia and revealed the potential species diversity of land snails in the karst region of Guangdong.

The genus Pupinidius Möllendorff, 1901 is endemic in China and Nepal and consists of 15 species. China is the distribution centre of it with 12 species being recorded.A new species, Pupinidius pulchellus Chen, Dai, Wu & Ouyang sp. nov. is described from Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, China. It can be distinguished from congeneric species by the shell with wide and distinct radial stripes; the thin, slightly reflexed and reddish-brown peristome; the unpointed apex; the unfused A-1 and A-2; the sub-globular and well defined bursa copulatrix; the unexpanded diverticle and the presence of epiphallic caecum.

A molecular phylogenetic study was conducted on genus Grandinenia, based on COI and 16S sequences. A total of eight out of 26 species in the genus, as well as three unidentified species were sequenced. Phylogenetic results supported the monophyly of Grandinenia and the validity of all sampled species and subspecies. A new species, Grandinenia jiangjilini Chen, Lin, Wu & Ouyang, sp. nov., from Guangxi, southern China is identified and described, based on morphological comparison and molecular phylogeny. The discovery indicates that the inflated-fusiform shell is not isolated in genus Grandinenia and the species diversity of the genus still remains to be explored.

A new catfish species, Liobagrus chenhaojuni Chen, Guo & Wu, sp. nov., is described from the Tiaoxi River, a tributary of Taihu Lake, located in Zhejiang Province, China. This description is based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis. This species belongs to a group defined by the presence of a smooth posterior edge of the pectoral-fin spine and can be distinguished from other species in the group by a unique combination of characteristics, including: an upper jaw longer than the lower jaw; maxillary barbels reaching the middle of the pectoral fin; irregular blotches present on the lateral body; a rounded caudal-fin with a length ranging from 16.5% to 19.9% of the standard length; 39 to 41 post-Weberian vertebrae; and 15 to 17 anal-fin rays. The validity of this new species is further supported by the molecular phylogenetic analysis based on Cytb sequences.

The monotypic freshwater mussel genus Diaurora Cockerell, 1903 has long been enigmatic due to its rarity and morphological confusion with Acuticosta. In this study, we comprehensively redescribed Diaurora aurorea (Heude, 1883) through a detailed analysis of shell morphology and molecular phylogenetics of recently collected specimens. Moreover, a new species, Diaurora laeve sp. nov., was identified from the Fuyishui River, a tributary of the Zishui River in Shaoyang County, Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, China. Molecular phylogenetic analyses showed that D. aurorea and D. laeve sp. nov. were reciprocally monophyletic and formed a clade as sister to Schistodesmus. Our study underscores the necessity of further exploring the diversity of freshwater mussels in understudied small tributaries throughout China.

Abstract The nucleus accumbens (NAc) is considered a hub of reward processing and a growing body of evidence has suggested its crucial role in the pathophysiology of major depressive disorder (MDD). However, inconsistent results have been reported by studies on reward network-focused resting-state functional MRI (rs-fMRI). In this study, we examined functional alterations of the NAc-based reward circuits in patients with MDD via meta- and mega-analysis. First, we performed a coordinated-based meta-analysis with a new SDM-PSI method for all up-to-date rs-fMRI studies that focused on the reward circuits of patients with MDD. Then, we tested the meta-analysis results in the REST-meta-MDD database which provided anonymous rs-fMRI data from 186 recurrent MDDs and 465 healthy controls. Decreased functional connectivity (FC) within the reward system in patients with recurrent MDD was the most robust finding in this study. We also found disrupted NAc FCs in the DMN in patients with recurrent MDD compared with healthy controls. Specifically, the combination of disrupted NAc FCs within the reward network could discriminate patients with recurrent MDD from healthy controls with an optimal accuracy of 74.7%. This study confirmed the critical role of decreased FC in the reward network in the neuropathology of MDD. Disrupted inter-network connectivity between the reward network and DMN may also have contributed to the neural mechanisms of MDD. These abnormalities have potential to serve as brain-based biomarkers for individual diagnosis to differentiate patients with recurrent MDD from healthy controls.

Abstract The incidence and mortality of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are gradually increasing during the past years. Recently, some studies have reported that malic enzyme (ME) plays an important role in cancer development, while the involvement of ME2 in HCC remains still undetermined. Here, we demonstrated that ME2 played an oncogenic role in HCC. ME2 was overexpressed in HCC tissues. TCGA database showed that the ME2 transcript level was inversely associated with the survival of HCC patients. Loss‐of‐function and gain‐of‐function assays showed that ME2 promoted HCC cell growth and migration. Furthermore, the xenografted tumorigenesis of MHCC97H cells was retarded by ME2 knockdown. ME2 silencing also suppressed the cell cycle process and induced apoptosis. Mechanistically, ME2 potentiated triglyceride synthesis, inhibition of which suppressed the proliferation and migration. We propose that ME2 promotes HCC progression by increasing triglyceride production.

The freshwater gastropod Tarebia granifera (Lamarck, 1816) is found in Taiwan, Hainan, and Guangdong provinces in China, and is one of the main intermediate hosts of trematodes that infect humans. The taxonomic positions of some cerithioidean families are still unclear, and whole mitochondrial genome studies are scarce in the Thiaridae. In this study, we describe the complete mitogenome of Tarebia granifera (Lamarck, 1816). The mitogenome is 15,555 bp in length, with a total of 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, and 22 tRNA genes. It is consistent with the essential features of previously studied mitochondrial genomes of species belonging to the superfamily Cerithioidea. Our study demonstrates the usefulness of mitogenomic data for resolving phylogenetic relationships of families within Cerithioidea and may also contribute to the prevention and control of the parasitic diseases caused by trematodes, which use T. granifera as an intermediate host.

The genus Cuneopsis Simpson, comprises seven valid species, and Cuneopsis celtiformis (Heude, 1874) is the type species of this genus. Previous phylogenetic studies using complete mitochondrial genomes showed that Cuneopsis was not monophyletic, but the result was hampered by incomplete species sampling and lack of the type species of this genus. In this study, we collected C. celtiformis from the type locality and determined its complete maternal mitochondrial genome. This mitogenome is 15,922 bp in length and contains 14 protein-coding genes (including one F-orf), two rRNA genes, 22 tRNA genes, and 1 putative control region. Our mitochondrial phylogenomic analysis confirms that currently recognized genus Cuneopsis is polyphyletic, and C. celtiformis is the closest to C. heudei with high maximum likelihood bootstrap support value. Comprehensive sampling of all Cuneopsis species is needed for phylogenetic analysis to erect new genera in future studies.

Clausiliidae snails have been of great interest to conchologists for their unique clausilium structure and rich species diversity. We described the complete mitochondrial genome of Euphaedusa planostriata (Heude, 1882). The mitogenome is 15,041bp in length, with a total of 37 genes, including 13 protein-coding genes, 2 rRNA genes, and 22 tRNA genes. It is consistent with the basic characteristics of the known stylommatophoran mitochondrial genome. Phylogenetic analysis using mitogenomes showed that Euphaedusa planostriata is clustered with Albinaria caerulea, supporting the monophyly of this family. Our study provides valuable information that can be used toward the conservation genetics, taxonomy and evolution of clausiliid snails.

The Yangtze River basin is one of the most species-rich regions for freshwater mussels on Earth, but is gravely threatened by anthropogenic activities. However, conservation planning and management of mussel species has been hindered by a number of taxonomic uncertainties. In order to clarify the taxonomic status and phylogenetic position of these species, mitochondrial genomes of four species (Acuticosta chinensis, Schistodesmus lampreyanus, Cuneopsis heudei and Cuneopsis capitatus) were generated and analyzed along with data from 43 other mitogenomes. The complete F-type mitogenomes of A. chinensis, S. lampreyanus, C. heudei, and C. capitatus are 15652 bp, 15855 bp, 15892 bp, and 15844 bp, respectively, and all four F-type mitogenomes have the same pattern of gene arrangement. ML and BI trees based on the mitogenome dataset are completely congruent, and indicate that the included Unionidae belong to three subfamilies with high bootstrap and posterior probabilities, i.e., Unioninae (Aculamprotula, Cuneopsis, Nodularia, and Schistodesmus), Anodontinae (Cristaria, Arconaia, Acuticosta, Lanceolaria, Anemina, and Sinoanodonta), and Gonideinae (Ptychorhynchus, Solenaia, Lamprotula, and Sinohyriopsis). Results also indicate that A. chinensis has affinities with Arconaia lanceolata and Lanceolaria grayii and is a member of the subfamily Anodontinae.

Background: Major depressive disorder (MDD) is heterogeneous disorder associated with aberrant functional connectivity within the default mode network (DMN). This study focused on data-driven identification and validation of potential DMN-pattern-based MDD subtypes to parse heterogeneity of the disorder. Methods: The sample comprised 1397 participants including 690 patients with MDD and 707 healthy controls (HC) registered from multiple sites based on the REST-meta-MDD Project in China. Baseline resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) data was recorded for each participant. Discriminative features were selected from DMN between patients and HC. Patient subgroups were defined by K-means and principle component analysis in the multi-site datasets and validated in an independent single-site dataset. Statistical significance of resultant clustering were confirmed. Demographic and clinical variables were compared between identified patient subgroups. Results: Two MDD subgroups with differing functional connectivity profiles of DMN were identified in the multi-site datasets, and relatively stable in different validation samples. The predominant dysfunctional connectivity profiles were detected among superior frontal cortex, ventral medial prefrontal cortex, posterior cingulate cortex and precuneus, whereas one subgroup exhibited increases of connectivity (hyperDMN MDD) and another subgroup showed decreases of connectivity (hypoDMN MDD). The hyperDMN subgroup in the discovery dataset had age-related severity of depressive symptoms. Patient subgroups had comparable demographic and clinical symptom variables. Conclusions: Findings suggest the existence of two neural subtypes of MDD associated with different dysfunctional DMN connectivity patterns, which may provide useful evidence for parsing heterogeneity of depression and be valuable to inform the search for personalized treatment strategies.

Objective To study the efficacy and safety of hematoma puncture catheter drainage under CT real-time guide for treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Methods A total of 80 ICH patients with hematoma volume 15-30 ml were given conservative treatment (control group, 40 cases including 6 cases with hematoma volume 15-20 ml and 34 cases with hematoma volume > 20-30 ml) and hematoma puncture and catheter drainage under CT real-time guide (operation group, 40 cases with hematoma volume > 20-30 ml). Conscious states were evaluated by Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) on admission and 3 d after onset. Neurological deficits of patients were evaluated by National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) on admission and discharge. Hospitalization days and complications (including rebleeding, epilepsy, intracranial infection, severe pulmonary infection and bleeding caused by digestive tract stress ulcer) were recorded. Results The GCS scores 3 d after onset (P = 0.000) and NIHSS scores on discharge (P = 0.000) of 2 groups were significantly lower than those on admission. The GCS score of operation group was significantly higher (P = 0.003) and NIHSS score was significantly lower (P = 0.000) than that of control group. The hospitalization time of operation group was significantly lower than those of control group [(10.53 ± 2.64) d vs. (17.30 ± 4.92) d; t = 7.673, P = 0.000]. Complications including rebleeding, intracranial infection, severe pulmonary infection and bleeding caused by digestive tract stress ulcer did not occur in patients of 2 groups. Conclusions For supratentorial hemorrhage patients withhematoma volume 15-30 ml, in comparison with conservative treatment, operation with hematoma puncture and catheter drainage under CT real-time guide can save hospitalization days, relieve edema peak response and improve the prognosis. Despite the diversity and economic and ecological value of freshwater mussels, relatively little is known about their biology (especially for species outside of Europe and North America). Solenaia carinata is an endangered freshwater mussel, is endemic to China and is now only distributed in Poyang Lake basin. However, its conservation status is not clear. Thus, for this study, surveys were conducted at 41 sites along the lower reaches of the Ganjiang River to study the conservation status of S. carinatus. The results showed that S. carinata had a restricted distribution and extremely low density. In practical applications,the potential adversary may exploit partial information about the secret keys by side-channel attacks ,traditional certificateless signcryption schemes can’t resist these key-leakage attacks.A leakage-resilient certificateless signcryption scheme based on Elliptic Curve Cryptography and bilinear pairing was presented.In the random oracle,proved that the security of the scheme is based on the decisional Diffie-Hellman assumption.The scheme is also proved semantically secure against adaptive posterior chosen-ciphertext key-leakage attacks (KL-CCA2),and existentially unforgeable against chosen-message key-leakage attacks(KL-CMA).The proposed scheme was free from non-interactive zero knowledge proof system and needs no bilinear paring operation in signcryption phase.Compared with other schemes of the same kind,the proposed scheme can resist key-leakage attacks and maintains high efficiency.

The prostaglandin-endoperoxide synthase-2 (PTGS2) plays essential roles in diverse pathological process. Although recent studies implied that PTGS2 was closely related with chemoresistance, the precise roles and the underlying mechanisms of PTGS2 in the developing process of chemoresistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) remained elusive. In the present study, we revealed a novel molecular mechanism of PTGS2 implicated in the chemoresistance of NSCLC and proposed a model for the positive feedback regulation of PTGS2 in the process of developing resistance phenotype in NSCLC cells. Our results demonstrated that cisplatin induced PTGS2 expression through the ROS-ERK1/2-NF-κB signaling axis. The prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) derived from PTGS2 catalyzation further strengthened PTGS2 expression via the PGE2-EPs-ERK1/2 positive feedback loop, which induced multidrug resistance of NSCLC cells through up-regulation of BCL2 expression and the subsequent attenuation of cell apoptosis. Consistently, high levels of both PTGS2 and BCL2 were closely associated with poor survival in NSCLC patients. Inhibition of PTGS2 significantly reversed the chemoresistance in the resistant NSCLC in vitro and in vivo. Our results suggested that PTGS2 might be employed as an adjunctive therapeutic target for improving the response to the therapeutic agents in a subset of resistant NSCLC.

To solve the private key escrow problem of identity-based multi-receiver signcryption schemes,the security model for multi-receiver signcryption scheme was constructed,and then a certificateless multi-receiver signcryption scheme based on ECC was proposed.Furthermore,the security of the scheme in the random oracle was based on the computational Diffie-Hellman assumption and elliptic curve discrete logarithm assumption was proved.Meanwhile,the scheme was free from certificate management center and needed no bilinear paring operation in both signcryption and decryption phases.It can also protect both the sender and receivers’identity from leaking out.So the scheme can be applied conveniently to broadcast signcryption in network environment.

In large-scale communication nodes network,there are a large number of network nodes and so many types of equipment.So there are problems of certificate management difficulties and resource waste in the tradi-tional PKI cryptosystem.A mutual node authentication scheme based on identity-based encryption,which solved the problem of the digital certificate management in the PKI system by the identity-based encryption and the key escrow problem in identity based cryptograph by splitting the key as well,was designed.At the same time,the introduction of random factor,timestamp and hash algorithm in the authentication protocol prevented various network attacks.Finally,the security and efficiency of the encryption algorithm and the security of the authentication protocol were analyzed,which proved the security and reliability of the authentication scheme.

As for the intranet security threats of the increasing number of unknown attacks,an unknown attack detection model based on network behavior analysis was proposed.With the help of the information resources within the intranet,firstly,the information resources of the intranet were collected,then the risk factors of abnormal behav-ior of the internet information node were analyzed,finally,the information node and the information resources ac-quisition path as the key element were used to construct the detection model of the directed graph.By verifying,the model can achieve the desired detection results.

Considering that the existing file safe deposit boxes lack online authentication and server authorization,a file safe deposit box based on authentication and authorization was designed and achieved.This system firstly identified the users of the file box online,thus avoiding the illegal users to login.Moreover,the master collected the operation events exerted on the files in the clients,and the master provided a granular authentication for the operation of users,thus avoiding the illegal operation and incorrect operation.The test of this system proved that it can be able to achieve the preset functions and can be widely used in many conditions.

Aiming at the problem that traditional privacy preserving methods were unable to deal with malign analysis with arbitrary background knowledge, a k -means algorithm preserving differential privacy in distributed environment was proposed. This algorithm was under the computing framework of MapReduce. The host tasks were obligated to control the iterations of k -means. The Mapper tasks were appointed to compute the distances between all the records and cluster-ing centers and to mark the records with the clusters which the records belong. The Reducer tasks were appointed to compute the numbers of records which belong to the same clusters and the sums of attributes vectors, and to disturb the numbers and the sums with noises made by Laplace mecha ism, in order to achieve differential privacy preserving. Based on the combinatorial features of differential privacy, theoretically prove that this algorithm is able to fulfill -differentiallye private. The experimental results demonstrate that this method can remain available in the process of preserving privacy and improving efficiency.

The middle and lower portions of the Yangtze River basin is the most species-rich region for freshwater mussels in Asia. The management and conservation of the taxa in this region has been greatly hampered by the lack of a well-developed phylogeny and species-level taxonomic framework. In this study, we tested the utility of two mitochondrial genes commonly used as DNA barcodes: the first subunit of the cytochrome oxidase c gene (COI) and the first subunit of the NADH dehydrogenase gene (ND1) for 34 putative species representing 15 genera, and also generated phylogenetic hypotheses for Chinese unionids based on the combined dataset of the two mitochondrial genes. The results showed that both loci performed well as barcodes for species identification, but the ND1 sequences provided better resolution when compared to COI. Based on the two-locus dataset, Bayesian Inference (BI) and Maximum Likelihood (ML) phylogenetic analyses indicated 3 of the 15 genera of Chinese freshwater mussels examined were polyphyletic. Additionally, the analyses placed the 15 genera into 3 subfamilies: Unioninae (Aculamprotula, Cuneopsis, Nodularia and Schistodesmus), Gonideninae (Lamprotula, Solenaia and Ptychorhychus) and Anodontinae (Cristaria, Arconaia, Acuticosta, Lanceolaria, Anemina and Sinoanodonta). Our results contradict previous taxonomic classification that placed the genera Arconaia, Acuticosta and Lanceolaria in the Unioninae. This study represents one of the first attempts to develop a molecular phylogenetic framework for the Chinese members of the Unionidae and will provide a basis for future research on the evolution, ecology, and conservation of Chinese freshwater mussels.

Radix plicatula is broadly distributed in China, as well as Russia. It is one of the intermediate hosts of Fasciola species which leads to the spread of fascioliasis. Here, we first described the complete mitochondrial genome of R. plicatula. The mitogenome is 13,751 bp in length, containing 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, and 2 rRNA genes. The contents of each base are 30.7% A, 39.6% T, 15.7% G, and 13.9% C. The sequence is AT rich (70.3%). Mitochondrial phylogenomic analysis showed that R. plicatula is close to R. auricularia.

To solve the problem that traditional traffic abnormal detection methods were not accurate enough,a traf-fic anomaly detection method based on improved k-means was proposed.All kinds of network traffic data were pre-processed to make k-means algorithm can apply to enumeration data detection.Then a features selection method was pro-posed with the analysis of the distribution of network traffic data to avoid the distance useless caused by too much fea-tures.Furthermore,the clustering process of K clusters was optimized based on dichotomy,aiming to reduce the effects of initial clusters centers selection.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

To investigate the invulnerability of small-world networks against cascading failure, an improved nonlinear load-capacity model was introduced. Under the rule of local weighted load redistribution, the influence of weight coeffi-cient, capacity parameters and density of the network on invulnerability of small-world networks against cascading fail-ure was studied by numerical simulation. Then, qualitative analysis of invulnerability of small-world networks under the restrictions of cost and performance was presented. The results demonstrate that, invulnerability of small-world networks weakens with the increasing of the weight coefficient. In addition, the spreading of cascading failure of small-world net-works with different density slows down when the weight coefficient is smaller, and that of the sensitiveness to network density is different. Moreover, there exists an optimal combination of capacity parameters which ensures that small-world networks reach the strongest invulnerability level. Research findings will provide useful guidance and reference in the optimization design of invulnerability for real complex networks.

Device to Device (D2D) communication is a key technology in 5th generation wireless systems to increase communication capacity and spectral efficiency. Applying caching into D2D communication networks, the device can retrieve content from other devices by establishing D2D communication links. In this way, the backhaul traffic can be significantly reduced. However, most of the existing caching schemes in D2D are proactive caching, which cannot satisfy the requirement of real-time updating. In this paper, we propose an Indian Buffet Process based D2D caching strategy (IBPSC). Firstly, we construct a geographical D2D communication network to provide high quality D2D communications according to physical closeness between devices. Then devices are divided into several social communities. Devices are ranked by their node importance to community in each community. The base station makes caching decisions for devices according to contrition degree. Experimental results show that IBPSC achieves best network performance.

Because of the insufficient research on the essence and the design technique of the path balance structure, the experience of the designer is severely relied on, so it can't be applied in kinds of automatization synthesis techniques. To solve this problem, the formal specification and the sufficient conditions of the implementation for the path balance structure were researched, and the proof was given. Based on the improvement of the binary decision diagram, a path balance extension technique of the null convention logic (NCL) asynchronous circuit was put forward, which could be applied in kinds of automatization synthesis techniques. By applying this technique, the path balance structure of the NCL asynchronous circuit could be implemented on the premise that the characteristics of the orientated circuit would be un-changeable, and the leakage of the side-channel information aroused by the differences of the parasitic capacitor and the load capacitor could also be resisted.

The authentication of recommendation information transmitted through trust train is important for trust model in distributed environment. To solve this problem, the security model for the certificateless sequential multi-signature scheme was studied and then a certificateless sequential multi-signature scheme using elliptic curve cryptography and bi-linear pairings was proposed. It is proven in the random oracle that the security of the scheme is based on the fact that the computational Diffie-Hellman problem is hard. Meanwhile, the scheme needs no certificate management center and the length of signature is independent of the number of signers. It needs no bilinear pairing operation in the phase of partial signing, and just needs one each in verification phases of partial signing and integral signing. So it is computationally ef-ficient compared to the existing signature schemes and can be applied conveniently to trust transitivity in large scale dis-tributed environment.

Data possession provability allows cloud users to verify whether their data are still integrally preserved in Cloud Storage system,and whether they can obtain the data at anytime,anywhere.It is a challenging research problem of cloud storage security.A data possession proving model and its estimating criteria system were established.Three famous proving schemes were analyzed in detail.Six proving methods were compared from different aspects.Finally,some valuable future research issues and suggestions were pointed out as conclusion.

Current trust models based on reputation had some disadvantages in characterizing recommendation credibility and dealing with Trust-Path Search and aggregation.To solve these problems,an updating algorithm for recommendation credibility was proposed considering factors of time decay,recommendation inosculation and success transaction rate.Furthermore,a selective search-algorithm for trust-path in distributed environment was presented.The algorithm uses recommendation credibility,evaluation similarity and trust-path length as its control parameters and can evade malicious nodes directly in the process of searching.It can also stop the search for unnecessary trust-paths and execute the search for paths containing valuable recommendation.Lastly,trust aggregation method was given by using an advanced combining algorithm in D-S theory of evidence.Simulation results show that compared with existing trust models,the proposed model is more robust on defending attacks of various malicious nodes.

A novel gene, GhSERK1, was identified in cotton. It encoded a protein belonging to the somatic embryogenesis receptorlike kinase (SERK) family. The genomic sequence of GhSERK1 was 6920 bp in length, containing a predicted transcriptional start site (TSS). Its full-length cDNA was 2502 bp, encoding a protein of 627 amino acids. Sequence analysis of GhSERK1 revealed high levels of similarity to other reported SERKs, as well as a conserved intron/exon structure that was unique to members of the SERK family. Expression analysis showed that GhSERK1 mRNA was present in all organs of cotton plants and at different developmental stages, but its transcripts were most abundant in reproductive organs. Compared with that of the male-fertile line, the level of GhSERK1 mRNA was lower in the anther of the male-sterile cotton line, in which the pollen development was defected. Taken together, these findings illustrated that the GhSERK1 play a critical role during the anther formation, and may also have a broad role in other aspects of plant development.

Doubly uniparental inheritance (DUI) is an exception to the typical maternal inheritance of mitochondrial (mt) DNA in Metazoa, and found only in some bivalves. In species with DUI, there are two highly divergent gender-associated mt genomes: maternal (F) and paternal (M), which transmit independently and show different tissue localization. Solenaia carinatus is an endangered freshwater mussel species exclusive to Poyang Lake basin, China. Anthropogenic events in the watershed greatly threaten the survival of this species. Nevertheless, the taxonomy of S. carinatus based on shell morphology is confusing, and the subfamilial placement of the genus Solenaia remains unclear. In order to clarify the taxonomic status and discuss the phylogenetic implications of family Unionidae, the entire F and M mt genomes of S. carinatus were sequenced and compared with the mt genomes of diverse freshwater mussel species. The complete F and M mt genomes of S. carinatus are 16716 bp and 17102 bp in size, respectively. The F and M mt genomes of S. carinatus diverge by about 40% in nucleotide sequence and 48% in amino acid sequence. Compared to F counterparts, the M genome shows a more compact structure. Different gene arrangements are found in these two gender-associated mt genomes. Among these, the F genome cox2-rrnS gene order is considered to be a genome-level synapomorphy for female lineage of the subfamily Gonideinae. From maternal and paternal mtDNA perspectives, the phylogenetic analyses of Unionoida indicate that S. carinatus belongs to Gonideinae. The F and M clades in freshwater mussels are reciprocal monophyly. The phylogenetic trees advocate the classification of sampled Unionidae species into four subfamilies: Gonideinae, Ambleminae, Anodontinae, and Unioninae, which is supported by the morphological characteristics of glochidia.

Effective species conservation necessitates the ability to accurately differentiate among species, a challenge compounded by taxonomic uncertainties in freshwater mussels due to substantial intraspecific variation and pronounced phenotypic plasticity in shell morphology. The taxonomic status and species validity of Scabies longata and S. chinensis, two species endemic in China, have been under continuous debate since establishment. The lack of essential molecular data required for a comprehensive systematic study has resulted in the unresolved taxonomic status of these two species. This study presents molecular data, including COI barcoding, COI + 28S rRNA, and mitogenomic data combined with morphological characteristics to assess the validity of S. longata and S. chinensis. Both morphological and COI barcoding data support the conclusion that S. longata and S. chinensis are junior synonyms of Nodularia douglasiae and N. nuxpersicae respectively. Our findings suggest the absence of Scabies species in China. Mitochondrial phylogenetic analyses were used to further elucidate intrageneric relationships within the genus Nodularia, revealing the following relationships: (N. breviconcha (Nodularia sp. 1 (N. douglasiae (N. nuxpersicae, N. nipponensis)))). We underscore the significance of employing an integrated taxonomic approach for species identification, especially given the considerable morphological disparities between larvae and adult freshwater mussels. Proper morphological identification of adult specimens is essential for extracting meaningful taxonomic characters. Furthermore, our findings suggest a notable resemblance between the freshwater bivalve fauna in southern China and those east of the Mekong River. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
