Objective To investigate the current status of supportive care needs in patients after total cystectomy and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 631 patients undergoing total cystectomy in 5 tertiary Class-A hospitals in Chongqing from January 2020 to September 2021 were enrolled in this study. In 1 month after surgery, the patients were investigated by general data questionnaire and supportive care needs survey. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results The total score of supportive care needs for post-cystectomy patients was 107.71±7.77 and the mean score of the items was 4.14±0.30. Multiple linear regression analysis showed the post-cystectomy patients with higher monthly household income per capita (≥1 000 Yuan), spouse/children as primary caregivers, receiving bladder-sparing triple therapy (trimodal therapy, TMT), occupation as farmers, married/cohabitation, having rural cooperative medical insurance and undergoing surgical method with in situ neobladder had lower supportive care needs (P < 0.05). Conclusion The demand for specific supportive care of post-cystectomy patients is quite high. Monthly household income per capita, primary caregivers, receiving TMT or not, and surgical method with in situ neobladder are main factors influencing the demand for supportive care need in post-cystectomy patients.

Construction is a complex human–machine–environment system, and the quality and safety management during construction faces numerous challenges. As the new-generation information technology develops, digital twin now can be used in construction to improve the quality and safety management and promote smart construction in China. Computability and controllability of the whole construction process is expected to be achieved using the digital twin technology; digital management of construction sites can be realized using advanced sensing, computing, and other technologies. In this article, we first investigate the demand for the application of digital twin into the construction quality management and analyze the research status and problems of the application. Subsequently, we propose a next-generation construction quality and safety management system that is composed of product intelligent design for construction quality and safety control, intelligent sensing and analysis of construction quality and safety status, data-driven construction quality and safety control, and construction quality management and dynamic supervision. Furthermore, we propose suggestions for the application of digital twin technology in the construction industry in China from the aspects of management, technology, as well as standards and specifications.

Objective To investigate the current status of nursing staffing based on nursing manager's perspective, and determine the key factors affecting the human resource allocation. Methods A total of 23 nursing managers in tertiary general hospitals in Chongqing were subjected by objective sampling during November 2020 and January 2021, and investigated by semi-structured in-depth interviews. Colaizzi phenomenological analysis was used for data analysis. Results Four themes were extracted as follows: ① The present nursing staffing in some departments did not meet the job demands; ② There coexisted shortage and misuse of high-quality nursing talents; ③ Public health emergencies had evidently affected nursing staffing; ④ Many factors must be taken into account for the allocation of nursing human resources. Conclusion In addition to the cost-effectiveness, nurse allocation should also consider many other factors comprehensively, and the nursing staffing pattern can be adjusted according to different clinical work needs and other comprehensive factors. Public emergencies have an obvious impact on nursing staffing, and the flexible nursing team should be established.

Aim: To retrieve, analyse and summarize the relevant evidence on the prevention and management of bladder dysfunction in patients with cervical ancer after radical hysterectomy. Design: Overview of systematic reviews. Methods: 11 databases were searched for relevant studies from top to bottom according to the '6S' model of evidence‐based resources. Two independent reviewers selected the articles, extracted the data and appraised the quality of the included reviews based on different types of evaluation tools. Results: A total of 13 studies were identified, including four clinical consultants, four guidelines, four systematic reviews and one randomized controlled trial. 29 best evidence were summarized from five aspects, including definition, risk factors, assessment, prevention and management. Purpose: ChatGPT has a wide range of applications in the medical field. Therefore, this review aims to define the key issues and provide a comprehensive view of the literature based on the application of ChatGPT in medicine. Methods: This scope follows Arksey and O'Malley's five-stage framework. A comprehensive literature search of publications (30 November 2022 to 16 August 2023) was conducted. Six databases were searched and relevant references were systematically catalogued. Attention was focused on the general characteristics of the articles, their fields of application, and the advantages and disadvantages of using ChatGPT. Descriptive statistics and narrative synthesis methods were used for data analysis. Results: Of the 3426 studies, 247 met the criteria for inclusion in this review. The majority of articles (31.17%) were from the United States. Editorials (43.32%) ranked first, followed by experimental studys (11.74%). The potential applications of ChatGPT in medicine are varied, with the largest number of studies (45.75%) exploring clinical practice, including assisting with clinical decision support and providing disease information and medical advice. This was followed by medical education (27.13%) and scientific research (16.19%). Particularly noteworthy in the discipline statistics were radiology, surgery and dentistry at the top of the list. However, ChatGPT in medicine also faces issues of data privacy, inaccuracy and plagiarism. Conclusion: The application of ChatGPT in medicine focuses on different disciplines and general application scenarios. ChatGPT has a paradoxical nature: it offers significant advantages, but at the same time raises great concerns about its application in healthcare settings. Therefore, it is imperative to develop theoretical frameworks that not only address its widespread use in healthcare but also facilitate a comprehensive assessment. Aim: To explore the acquisition behaviours for nutrition‐related information of older adults in a long‐term care facility. Design: A qualitative descriptive design was used in this study. Methods: Sixteen older adults in a long‐term care facility were recruited using purposive sampling between March and May 2021. Data were collected via face‐to‐face semi‐structured interviews, based on open questions regarding acquisition behaviours for nutrition‐related information and flexible question formulation, and the data were analysed using an inductive–deductive method. A health promotion model was used as a conceptual framework to regulate the refinement of themes. Results: Three themes were identified in this study. The first theme discussed the individual characteristics and experiences of older adults that contributed to their acquisition behaviours for nutrition‐related information. The second theme described behaviour‐specific cognitions of and the effects on the participants regarding the influencing factors involving various internal individual elements and external physical environment. The third theme explored the positive behavioural outcomes of the participants resulting from these acquisition behaviours. Conclusion: Acquisition behaviours for nutrition‐related information of older adults in long‐term care facilities were affected by both individual characteristics and external physical environment factors. Access to nutritional information can help older adults cultivate a healthy diet. Although they exhibited a significant interest in nutrition, the participants still encountered several difficulties. Based on the actual care needs of the older people, appropriate nutritional information interventions should be provided by healthcare providers working in long‐term care facilities so as to improve the ability of the older people to acquire information independently.
