The construction of urban green spaces is a pivotal aspect of sustainable urban development. As societal preferences evolve, a shift from visually oriented landscapes to multi-sensory landscapes has emerged. However, scant attention has been given to the olfactory dimension of urban green spaces. This study addresses this gap by investigating the relationship between odor perception and park visit experiences, employing a combination of smellwalks and questionnaire surveys conducted in Purple Bamboo Park in Beijing. Natural odors, with most perception frequencies above 60%, are the most dominant odors in Purple Bamboo Park during the summer, including plant, water, and soil smells. The questionnaire survey results revealed a positive correlation between the perception of natural odors and tour experience. Notably, floral fragrances emerged as the predominant olfactory stimulus influencing the park's olfactory ambiance. Furthermore, a remarkably strong association was observed between the degrees of olfactory, visual, and overall experiential satisfaction, which indicates that multi-sensory experiences in urban parks work as an organic whole. By recognizing the pivotal role of smell in shaping perceptions, urban planners and designers can now integrate olfactory considerations into their work, thereby elevating the overall quality and sustainability of urban green spaces. The intrusion of a metal object into a wireless charging system could cause safety issues, such as temperature rise and even combustion. This paper proposes a double-layer symmetric sensing coil design for metal object detection (MOD) of wireless electric vehicle charging to prevent the detection blind area. First, the magnetic effect and the eddy current effect of a metal object in high-frequency magnetic fields are analyzed. Second, the principle of the proposed double-layer symmetric sensing coils is detailed. Finally, the finite element simulation is implemented in order to test the performance of the proposed sensing coil design. The simulation results show that the proposed double-layer symmetric sensing coils can effectively detect the presence and position of the metal object simultaneously.

Despite the benefits of metallic conductivity and highly active edge Mo sites of 1T phase molybdenum disulfide (1T‐MoS2) as an electrocatalyst, its overall catalytic efficiency for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) is still limited by the less active S sites on the basal plane with a considerable positive ΔGH*. As a result, activating the basal plane S atoms is a viable solution for increasing catalytic activity. In this work, we modulated the electronic structure of 1T‐MoS2 by constructing a heterostructure with CoS2 nanoparticles deposited on the 1T‐MoS2 basal plane. This heterostructure demonstrated excellent HER activity as well as robust stability. Theoretical calculations indicate that the bridge S atoms connecting 1T‐MoS2 and CoS2 have an up‐shifted p‐band center relative to the S atoms on the basal plane, so the ΔGH* of the bridge S atoms is optimized to thermal neutrality and the 1T‐MoS2 basal plane is activated with enhanced hydrogen evolution activity. The existing simultaneous wireless power (SWP) and information transfer can only achieve serial signal transmission and it is hard to decouple the power and signal transmission without the additional circuits. To solve these problems, a SWP and multibit signals transfer technology is proposed in this article. Based on the working principle of the hybrid modulation waves pulsewidth modulation control technology, the power and multibit signals are modulated into the system through the modulation waves with different frequencies. Therefore, the signal transmission no longer depends on the power transmission, and the signal transmission rate is multiplied through the realization of parallel signals transmission. Subsequently, the parameter selection criterion of the signal channel is given by analyzing the signal transmission rate and the interference between the power and signal transmission. Finally, the proposed technology is verified with experimental results. The experimental results demonstrate that the power and two-bit signals can be transmitted stably.
