Feline parvovirus (FPV) is highly infectious for cats and other Felidae and often causes severe damage to young kittens. In this study, we incorporated recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) and Cas12a-mediated detection and developed an RPA-Cas12a-based real-time or end-point fluorescence detection method to identify the NS1 gene of FPV. The total time of RPA-Cas12a-based fluorescence assay is approximately 25 min. The assay presented a limit of detection (LOD) of 1 copies/μl (25 copies/per reaction), with no cross-reactivity with several feline pathogens. The clinical performance of the assay was examined using total genomic DNA purified from 60 clinical specimens and then compared to results obtained with qPCR detection of FPV with 93.3% positive predictive agreement and 100% negative predictive agreement. Together, the rapid reaction, cost-effectiveness, and high sensitivity make the RPA-Cas12a-based fluorescence assay a fascinating diagnostic tool that will help minimize infection spread through instant detection of FPV.

Laser repair technology has the advantages of short time, high efficiency, low cost and good mechanical properties, and has great development potential. Al-7.5Mg-0.3Sc-0.28Zr was used as the repair material to conduct laser repair experiments on 5083-H112 aluminum alloy used in rail transit, and a dense and defect-free repair sample was obtained. The microstructure and properties of the sample were studied, and the feasibility of laser repair of aluminum alloy was discussed. The results show that the transition zone near the fusion line can be divided into repair zone, partial melting zone, heat affected zone and base metal. The grains in the repaired area are completely equiaxed, consisting of a fine-grained band with an average grain size of 4.95 μm and a coarse-grained region of 18.34 μm respectively. In the transition area from the repair zone to the partial melting zone and then to the heat affected zone, the content of Al element gradually increases, the content of Mg element gradually decreases, and the hardness decreases gradually. The heat-affected zone and the base metal are not softened after the repair. Due to the rapid solidification of laser additive manufacturing technology, the fine-grain band near the fusion line has larger stress concentration, and the residual stress in the heat affected zone and partial melting zone is small due to the small heat input. The yield strength of the repaired sample of (152±2) MPa is 89.4% of the base metal, the tensile strength of (305±5) MPa is 100% of the base metal, and the elongation rate of (15.5±0.5)% is 85.2% of the base metal. Fracture occurs in the weaker base metal. Laser repair of aluminum alloys is feasible and has broad application prospects.

Objective To investigate the effects of lncRNA SBF2-AS1 on the proliferation and invasion of hepatoma cells by regulating the miR-372-3p/CDK6 pathway. Methods Bel7402 and SK-hep1 cells were selected as research objects. The expression levels of SBF2-AS1, miR-372-3p, and CDK6 were up- or down-regulated according to different experimental stages, while the expression levels of miR-372-3p and CDK6 in cells were detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and Western blot. Dual luciferase reporter assay verified the targeting relationships between SBF2-AS1 and miR-372-3p as well as miR-372-3p and CDK6, respectively. A radar HRRP recognition algorithm based on time-spectrogram feature and multi-scale convolutional neural network is proposed to address the difficult feature extraction and low accuracy in space target recognition. Firstly, the normalization is used to eliminate the intensity sensitivity, the absolute alignment of multiple dominant scatterers is used to eliminate the translation sensitivity, and the radar Doppler velocity is used to eliminate the widening effect, distortion and wave crest splitting on HRRP caused by high-speed motion of the target. Then, the method applies the time-frequency analysis to the preprocessed HRRP to extract the time-frequency diagram. Finally, the time-frequency features are extracted with different scales of fineness and different directions through asymmetric convolution of different scales. The data processing results demonstrate that the present method has a high target recognition accuracy. In addition, the present improves the anti-posture sensitivity and target recognition on the same platform.

Abstract Background We aim to establish the characteristics of published cardio‐oncology research of clinical trials by bibliometric analysis and to talk about the prospects and difficulties facing the development of cardio‐oncology. Methods Search of data related to clinical trials in cardiac oncology from 1990 to 2022 from the Web of Science core collection. Using CiteSpace to perform co‐citation analysis of authors, countries (regions) and institutions, journals and cited journals, cited authors and cited literature, and keywords. Results Of the 607 clinical trial studies, the number of papers published per year has increased over time. The regions with the greatest influence were North America (especially the United States) and Europe. Multicenter research has always been the focus of cardio‐oncology research, but cross‐regional cooperation was still lacking. Myocardial toxicity caused by anthracyclines has received the earliest attention and has been studied for the longest time. Meanwhile, the efficacy and cardiotoxicity of new anticancer drugs always came into focus, but at a slow pace. Few studies on myocardial toxicity were related to the treatment of tumors except breast cancer. Risk factors, heart disease, adverse outcomes, follow‐up, and intervention protection were the major hotspots revealed by co‐citation cluster. Conclusions There is great potential for the development of clinical trials in cardio‐oncology, especially in multicenter cooperation across different regions. Expansion of tumor types, myocardial toxicity of different drugs, and effective interventions in the research direction and design of clinical trials are necessary.

Objective To analyze and summarize the clinical and genetic characteristics of potassium channel gene variation in infant epileptic encephalopathy (EE). Methods and Results A total of 11 infants with EE associated with potassium channel gene variation admitted to Hu'nan Children's Hospital from July 2016 to January 2020 were tested by the next generation sequencing (NGS). The variants and their sources were verified by Sanger sequencing. The clinical phenotype included epilepsy of infancy with migrating focal seizures (EIMFS, 4 cases), Ohtahara's syndrome (OS, 2 cases), infantile spasm (IS, 2 cases) and nonspecific EE (3 cases). There were 8 cases of new genetic variation and 3 cases of genetic variation (all from mothers). The variation types were KCNQ2 gene variation (5 cases), KCNT1 gene variation (4 cases) and KCNB1 gene variation (2 cases). Several antiepileptic seizure medicine (ASM) were used in combination therapy, and some of the infants were assisted with ketogenic diet (3 cases). After a mean follow⁃up of 19 months, 3 cases were completely free of seizures, one case was effective, 7 cases were ineffective, and 11 cases were all left with mental retardation and movement disorders. Conclusions Potassium channel gene variation is a common genetic cause of EE in infants, which can cause different clinical phenotypes. Genetic testing can assist in the etiological diagnosis and provide theoretical basis for precise treatment.

Mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) is a common blood routine test index. To explore the relationship between MCH and length of hospital stay in patients with acute pancreatitis (AP), we included 273 patients with AP without coronary heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and anemia in this study. All data were separated into three groups according to the length of hospital stay. Gender (p = 0.017) and severity classification (p < 0.001) were significantly correlated with length of hospital stay among three groups. Notably, MCH level was significant different among three groups (p = 0.009). Thus, all data were separated into two groups according to MCH level, and significant increases in the length of hospital stay were observed between two groups (p = 0.030). A positive correlation between length of hospital stay and MCH was observed (r = 0.172, p = 0.004). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that MCH was independent correlated with the length of hospital stay, no matter whether severity classification of AP was included (beta = 0.248, p < 0.001; beta = 0.212, p < 0.001). Our results demonstrated that the length of hospital stay was correlated with MCH level in patients with AP, and MCH level at admission may predict the length of hospital stay independent of severity classification in AP. These results may provide a potential evaluation basis for the management of patients with AP.

A developed and verified thermodynamic model based on the atom and molecule coexistence theory (AMCT) is employed to predict activities relative to pure liquids in standard state in Mg-Al, Mg-Zn, Al-Zn and Mg-Al-Zn melts through the calculated mass action concentrations of structural units, i.e., Ni. According to AMCT, Ni can be extrapolated and calculated by the chemical equilibrium constant of a structural molecule, i.e., Ki, in the Mg-Al-Zn ternary system and binary subsystems. In this paper, the standard Gibbs free energy function, for reported activities and mixing thermodynamic properties in Mg-Al, Mg-Zn and Al-Zn melts, was regressed and optimized. The results showed that Ki and Ni were deduced by Gibbs free energy function at the studied temperature. The results of calculating thermodynamic properties in the full composition range for liquid Mg-Al-Zn from 880 to 1100 K, as well as Mg-Al from 923 to 1073 K, Mg-Zn from 880 to 973 K and Al-Zn from 1000 to 1073 K, are presented in the paper by coupling with Ni and AMCT. An excellent agreement is noticed between the calculated values of this study and measured thermodynamic data from the references, suggesting that the AMCT can be well applied to describe and predict the activities of the Mg-Al-Zn system and its subsystems.

BACKGROUND In recent years, reports of the detection of PAHs in groundwater have gradually increased, but research on PAHs in groundwater of major hydrogeological units in China is not being conducted. OBJECTIVES To study and compare the distribution characteristics of PAHs in groundwater under different hydrogeological conditions, using a total of 82 samples of shallow pore water and Karst groundwater samples collected in the Huabei plain, the Pearl River Delta plain, and the Southwestern Karst area. METHODS Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) was used to test PAHs in groundwater samples, and statistical methods were used to compare the detection frequency, concentration and composition of PAHs in the three different areas. RESULTS 16 PAHs were detected and each PAH was detected in at least one sample. The highest detection rate of PAHs was chrysene (6.10%). The PAH with the highest concentration was naphthalene (5.41 μg/L). Only the concentration of benzo(a)pyrene exceeded the Class Ⅲ limit in the standard for groundwater quality, and the over-standard rate was 2.44%. The PAHs in groundwater are mainly 2-4 rings, but the composition of PAHs in the three regions was different. The relative proportion of 4-rings PAHs in the northern pore water was high, accounting for 52.48%, whereas the pore water in the South and the Karst water in the Southwest were dominated by 3-rings (56.60%) and 2-rings (95.66%), respectively. CONCLUSIONS The main cause of contamination of PAHs in Northern pore water was by combustion. The PAHs contamination in the Southern pore water was related to the industrial layout of the Pearl River Delta, whereas the PAHs of Qujing Karst water were mainly affected by atmospheric precipitation. The detection differences of PAHs in different districts were related to their physicochemical properties, hydrogeological conditions, pollution sources, meteorological and hydrological factors. The results provide basic data support for groundwater PAHs pollution monitoring and the formulation of a groundwater related standard in China.

An experiment was conducted for the composite hat-stiffened panels with different forming process types with boundary constraint, in order to study the effect of secondary bonding and co-curing on the compression stability and carrying capacity of composite hat-stiffened panels, while the thickness of skin and polymethacrylimide (PMI) foam were taken into account on the effect on axial compression characteristics. In the test, strain gage was pasted to monitor the local bucking, acoustic emission was detected and fracture section was observed to investigate the fracture mechanism. The results show that the thickness of skin has significant influence on the compression properties of panels, PMI foam can slightly increase the buckling load while has no impact on the ultimate load. Both buckling load and ultimate load of co-cured panels almost decrease by 18% compared with that of secondary bonded panels, damage can be observed in the former prior to the latter, delamination induces collapsing for the former panels while debond is the key point of breaking for the latter panels.

Compared with the capacitive pulsed power supply (CPPS), the inductive pulsed power supply (IPPS) is considered to have broader prospects because of its theoretically higher energy densities. Most recent researches focus on characteristics of the IPPS with a fixed load, which is rather different from practical applications from the engineering point of view. In this paper, with the purpose of preliminarily verifying the IPPS’s feasibility, the performance of the novel meat grinder circuit with a dynamic load model is presented and analysed under PSpice environment. The analysis model is based on the parameters of the four-module IPPS and the pulsed power load built in Institute of Electrical Engineering. Finally, the comparison between the IPPS and the CPPS with same initial energy is carried out.

Background: Paclitaxel, a commonly used chemotherapeutic agent, is usually associated with peripheral neuropathy. Paclitaxel induced peripheral neuropathy (PIPN) can be dose limiting and may have detrimental influence on patients' quality of life. However, the mechanism of PIPN remains unclear. Medicinal herbs and their formulas might offer neuronal protection with their multitarget and integrated benefits in chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN). Siwei Jianbu decoction (J12) is a classic formula of traditional Chinese medicine which can promote blood circulation and treat diabetic nephropathy in clinical with the symptoms of weakness and pain. Methods: The effects of J12 were treated in C57BL/6 mice before injected with Paclitaxel.Behaviour studies: Measurement of mechanical hyperalgesia, thermal nociception and cold allodynia. On the last day at the end of week 6, DRGs were obtained from mice for western blot and immunohistochemical analysis containing NF-κB, p-ERK1/2 and p-SAPK/JNK protein expression. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction: mRNA expression of NF-κB, IL-1β and TNF-α was analyzed. Additionally, the blood samples collected from the eye socket of the mouse were prepared to examine the levels of NF-κB, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β using ELISA assay kits. Results: Hypersensitivity tests and pathology analysis have demonstrated that J12 could improve paclitaxel-induced peripheral pain. J12 acts by inhibiting the activation of (C-Jun N-terminal kinases) JNK, (extracellular signal-regulated kinase) ERK1/2 phosphorylation in (Mitogen-activated protein kinases) MAPK signaling pathway and the nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) in C57BL/6 mice model, J12 also inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines including tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), interleukin 1β (IL-1β) and IL-6. Conclusion: The present study showed that J12 ameliorates paclitaxel-induced peripheral neuropathic pain.
