1. Rhönite in Cenozoic alkali basalt from Changle, Shandong Province, China, and its significance

Abstract: Four Cenozoic, rhönite-bearing alkali-olivine basalt samples from the Changle area (Shandong Province, China) show an intracontinental character and were generated in an extensional setting. Petrographic studies document different generations of rhönite. In three samples, rhönite occurs either as a reaction product surrounding coarse-grained corundum, spinel and phlogopite or along cleavage planes in phlogopite. In one sample rhönite forms disseminated crystals in a mantle xenolith, possibly formed by a reaction of coarse-grained orthopyroxene or spinel with a melt. Rhönite exhibits a wide range of compositions: 22.9 wt %–33.0 wt % SiO2, 13.3 wt %–19.0 wt % Al2O3, 9.4 wt %–19.9 wt % MgO and 10.210.2 wt %–24.5 wt % FeO. The derived primary substitutions include (1) SiIV + NaVII = (Al, Fe3+)IV + CaVII, (2) MgVI = (Fe2+, Mn2+)VI and (3) TiVI + (Mg + Fe2+ + Mn2+)VI = 2Fe3+VI. Rare-earth-element (REE) patterns of euhedral rhönite crystals from the mantle xenolith (sample SS17) and those surrounding spinel (sample CL04) have a concave-upward shape for the heavy rare-earth elements (HREEs) and are slightly enriched in the light rare-earth elements (LREEs). These patterns resemble those of kaersutitic amphibole and kaersutite reported from basanite, olivine nephelinite, transitional alkali-olivine basalt and hawaiite. In contrast, REE patterns of the other two samples containing fine-grained, anhedral and acicular rhönite crystals (samples CL01 and EGS03) are relatively steep, with lower HREE and higher LREE abundances, similar to those of ocean island basalts (OIBs). All types of Changle rhönite show positive Nb, Ti and V anomalies in spidergrams normalized to primitive mantle. Mineral assemblages of the studied samples indicate that rhönite crystallized at different stages within a temperature range from about 950 to 1180 ∘C and at pressures below 0.5 kbar, with fO2 below the NNO buffer. The chemical composition of Changle rhönite is interpreted to depend on the composition of the initial silicate melt, the redox conditions during crystallization and the composition of the minerals involved in reactions to form rhönite. Similar to metasomatic mantle amphibole, the compositions of Changle rhönites cover the I-Amph (I-amphibole) and S-Amph (S-amphibole) fields, indicating that they may have formed due to an intraplate metasomatic event, overprinting an older metasomatic subduction episode.

2. Sensitivity of boreal-summer circulation and precipitation to atmospheric aerosols in selected regions – Part 1: Africa and India

Abstract: Version-4 of the Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS-4) General Circulation Model (GCM) was employed to assess the influence of potential changes in aerosols on the regional circulation, ambient temperatures, and precipitation in four selected regions: India and Africa (current paper), as well as North and South America (companion paper). Ensemble-simulations were carried out with the GCM to assess the aerosol direct and indirect effects, hereafter ADE and AIE. Each simulation was started from the NCEP-analyzed initial conditions for 1 May and was integrated through May-June-July-August of each year: 1982–1987 to provide an ensemble set of six simulations. In the first set, called experiment (#1), climatological aerosols were prescribed. The next two experiments (#2 and #3) had two sets of simulations each: one with 2X and other with 1/2X the climatological aerosols over each of the four selected regions. In experiment #2, the anomaly regions were advectively restricted (AR), i.e., the large-scale prognostic fields outside the aerosol anomaly regions were prescribed while in experiment #3, the anomaly regions were advectively Interactive (AI) as is the case in a normal GCM integrations, but with the same aerosols anomalies as in experiment #2. Intercomparisons of circulation, diabatic heating, and precipitation difference fields showed large disparities among the AR and AI simulations, which raised serious questions about the proverbial AR assumption, commonly invoked in regional climate simulation studies. Consequently AI simulation mode was chosen for the subsequent studies. Two more experiments (#4 and #5) were performed in the AI mode in which ADE and AIE were activated one at a time. The results showed that ADE and AIE work in concert to make the joint influences larger than sum of each acting alone. Moreover, the ADE and AIE influences were vastly different for the Indian and Africa regions, which suggest an imperative need to include them rationally in climate models. We also found that the aerosol induced increase of tropical cirrus clouds would potentially offset any cirrus thinning that may occur due to warming in response to CO2 increase.

3. Controlled Aeration Driven by Oxidation-Reduction Potential Affects Ester Profile in Wine Alcohol Fermentation with Different Starter Cultures

Abstract: Background and Aims. Aeration, an important operation in winemaking, cannot be controlled accurately based on dissolved oxygen for ester production in wine alcohol fermentation. The following study describes an aeration control method with oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) in alcohol fermentation and investigates its effect on ester production in fermentations with different starter cultures. Methods and Results. The proposed method is based on using ORP as a switch for aeration timing. Different aeration levels driven by ORP were performed in wine alcohol fermentation with different starter cultures including Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Sc), Pichia fermentans (Pf), Hanseniaspora uvarum (Hu), and their mixes (Pf/Sc and Hu/Sc). The accumulated aeration volume, residual sugar concentration, viable cell number, and ester concentration were analyzed. Results showed that aeration levels could be controlled effectively with an ORP value, and aeration with higher ORPs triggered faster sugar utilization in Sc and Hu/Sc fermentation. Pf and Hu survived one day less in their respective cofermentation with aeration when ORP was −100 mV or −50 mV compared to the natural ORP (−150 mV∼−105 mV in Pf/Sc and −141 mV∼−107 mV in Hu/Sc, respectively). Aeration driven by ORP changed ester profiles in cofermentations. With the aeration levels increasing, the proportion of medium-chain fatty acid ethyl esters in the concentration of total esters first increased and then decreased in Hu/Sc fermentation. When ORP was −100 mV in Pf/Sc fermentation, the proportion of higher alcohol acetates to total esters was highest (8.14%), while that of ethyl acetate to total esters was lowest (87.35%). Conclusions. Aeration driven by ORP improved wine ester profiles by increasing the proportion of medium-chain fatty acid ethyl esters or reducing that of ethyl acetate in cofermentations. Significance of the Study. The present study will allow wineries and researchers to optimize the aeration process in alcohol fermentation and develop a scientific aeration strategy to improve the wine ester profile and aroma quality.

5. Electron Transport in Donor-Acceptor Copolymer and Methanofullerene Derivative Organic Photovoltaic Blend

Abstract: Recently, organic photovoltaics (OPVs) based on the blends of donor–acceptor (D–A) copolymers as efficient p-type materials and fullerene derivatives as acceptors have attracted considerable attention. In this paper, electron transport and electrical properties in a blend of D–A copolymer DTS-C0(F2) and methanofullerene derivative PC71BM are investigated. From an analysis of the temperature dependence of the current density–voltage (J − V) characteristics of electron-only device based on DTS-C0(F2):PC71BM blend, it is found that consistent descriptions for the experimental measurements are obtained using both the improved extended Gaussian disorder model (IEGDM) and the extended correlated disorder model (ECDM), within which spatial correlations between the transport site energies are absent and are included, respectively. By comparing the model parameters with the typical values of organic semiconductors, we view the more realistic intersite distance obtained using the IEGDM (1.9 nm) compared to the value obtained using the ECDM (0.48 nm) as an indication that in DTS-C0(F2):PC71BM blend correlations between the transport site energies are absent. Furthermore, it is shown that the effective mobility in DTS-C0(F2):PC71BM blend gradually increases with increasing temperature.

6. Acceleration of bone repair in critical-size defect using angiopoietin-2 associated with novel carbon nanotubes scaffold via mitophagy-pyroptosis pathway

Abstract: To investigate the curative effect of Ang-2 combined with novel carbon nanotubes (CNTs) scaffold critical-size bone defect in rabbits.CNTs with good properties were first prepared by freeze-drying method. The mechanical properties and surface hydrophilicity of scaffolds were improved by adjusting the addition ratio of polylactic acid (LPA) and chitin fibers (CHI). After purification and functionalization of CNTs, CNTs/PLA/CHI three-dimensional porous scaffolds were prepared for animal experiments. Subsequently, the CNTs/PLA/CHI scaffolds were implanted into the rabbit critical-sized radius defect model to evaluate the osteogenic properties in vivo. Adult male New Zealand white rabbits were randomly allocated into three groups. Group A was the control group, and both groups B and C underwent radial bone defect surgery and implanted CNTs/PLA/CHI scaffolds. Animals in group C received a daily local injection of 1 mL of 400 ng/mL Ang-2 dissolved in physiological saline in the bone defect area for up to 14 days after surgery, while group B received the same amount of physiological saline.Scanning electron microscope results showed that the porosity of the CNTs/PLA/CHI three-dimensional porous scaffolds was as high as 80%. The surface contact angle was 35° to 55°, and the hydrophilicity was suitable for cell adhesion and growth. The CNTs/PLA/CHI three-dimensional porous scaffolds had excellent biological properties. The general observation and X-ray imaging after 12 weeks together indicated that the CNTs/PLA/CHI scaffolds could accelerate bone repair with the combination of endogenous angiogenic factor Ang-2. The results of western blotting and histology revealed that the expression of mitophagy proteins LC3, Beclin-1, PINK1 and Parkin was elevated in the new bone, and the expression of pyroptosis proteins Nod-like receptor protein NLRP3, caspase-1 and Gasdermin D (GSDMD) was decreased.Ang-2 associated with CNTs/PLA/CHI scaffolds accelerated bone regeneration through autophagy-pyroptosis pathway.

10. Efficacy of robot-assisted core decompression combined with human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell transplantation for osteonecrosis of the femoral head

Abstract: The aim of this paper was to evaluate the effects of robot-assisted core decompression combined with human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cell (hUC-MSC) transplantation for early-stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH).A retrospective analysis was performed on 18 patients with a total of 26 hips who were diagnosed with Association Research Circulation Osseous stage 2 avascular necrosis of the femoral head and who received core decompression combined with hUC-MSC transplantation. All surgeries were completed under robotic assistance. Preoperative and postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) scores and the Harris Hip Score (HHS) were recorded to assess clinical function. A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examination was performed at the last follow-up.The mean follow-up was 18.6 months (12-28 months), the VAS score (4.5±0.8 vs. 0.9±0.2, t=12.6, p≤0.001) and HHS (79.5±5.8 vs. 60.5±4.6, t=14.3, p≤0.001) were significantly improved at the last follow-up, compared with preoperative value. The MRI results showed that the necrotic volume of the femoral heads was significantly reduced.Robot-assisted core decompression combined with hUC-MSC transplantation is a feasible and relatively safe method for the treatment of femoral head necrosis.

12. Analysis of Unsteady Flow Structures in a Centrifugal Impeller Using Proper Orthogonal Decomposition

Abstract: The occurrence and development of the dominant unsteady flow structures in a vanless centrifugal pump impeller are revealed by the proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) method. The pressure and velocity data of four radial surfaces is selected as the variables of decomposition. The results show that this method is beneficial to the analysis of flow field when there is no strong interaction of flow structures. When the flow rate starts to decrease from the design flow rate, unstable flow phenomenon such as flow separation and wake begin to appear and develop in the impeller. The POD analysis reveals the influence of the main unsteady structures on the flow field when there is no mixed or have little interaction among flow structures. It outlines the development of flow separation near the suction side of impeller and the wake near the trailing edge as the flow rate changes. However, the flow field inside the impeller becomes more and more complex as the operation condition is far away from the design condition, which needs to be combined with other methods to better analyze the flow field.

14. [A case of hemochromatosis associated with transferrin receptor 2 gene mutations]

Abstract: 遗传性血色病是一种铁代谢障碍性疾病，较为罕见。现报道1例转铁蛋白受体（TFR）2基因突变相关血色病患者，临床表现为皮肤色素沉着、糖尿病、肝硬化，血清铁蛋白（8 548.9 ng/ml）、转铁蛋白饱和度（116.77%）明显升高，肝活检示肝硬化，肝内铁沉积（重度Ⅳ级），对其血液标本进行全外显子捕获和高通量测序，并经Sanger测序验证，发现在TFR2基因10号和7号外显子上检测到2个杂合突变（c.1288G＞A，p.G430R和c.960T＞A，p.Y320X），前者已有文献报道与血色病的发病密切相关；后者罕见报道，是TFR2基因新变异点，该突变可使肽链终止。.

19. Asian dust storm observed at a rural mountain site in southern China: chemical evolution and heterogeneous photochemistry

Abstract: Heterogeneous processes on dust particles are important for understanding the chemistry and radiative balance of the atmosphere. This paper investigates an intense Asian dust storm episode observed at Mount Heng (1269 m a.s.l.) in southern China on 24–26 April 2009. A set of aerosol and trace gas data collected during the study was analyzed to investigate their chemical evolution and heterogeneous photochemistry as the dust traveled to southern China. Results show that the mineral dust arriving at Mt. Heng experienced significant modifications during transport, with large enrichments in secondary species (sulfate, nitrate, and ammonium) compared with the dust composition collected at an upwind mountain top site (Mount Hua). A photochemical age "clock" (−Log10(NOx/NOy)) was employed to quantify the atmospheric processing time. The result indicates an obvious increase in the abundance of secondary water-soluble ions in dust particles with the air mass atmospheric processing time. Based on the observations, a 4-stage evolution process is proposed for carbonate-containing Asian dust, starting from fresh dust to particles coated with hydrophilic and acidic materials. Daytime-enhanced nitrite formation on the dust particles was also observed, which indicates the recent laboratory result of the TiO2 photocatalysis of NO2 as a potential source of nitrite and nitrous acid.

Abstract: In chirality research area, it is of interest to reveal the chiral feature of inorganic nanomaterials and their enantioselective interactions with biomolecules. Although common Raman spectroscopy is not regarded as a direct chirality analysis tool, it is in fact effective and sensitive to study the enantioselectivity phenomena, which is demonstrated by the enantio-discrimination of amino acid enantiomers using the polydopamine-modified intrinsically chiral SiO2 nanofibers in this work. The Raman scattering intensities of an enantiomer of cysteine are more than twice as high as those of the other enantiomer with opposite handedness. Similar results were also found in the cases of cystine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan enantiomers. In turn, these organic molecules could be used as chirality indicators for SiO2, which was clarified by the unique Raman spectra-derived mirror-image relationships. Thus, an indirect chirality detection method for inorganic nanomaterials was developed.

21. Chiral Plasmonic Nanoparticle Assisted Raman Enantioselective Recognition

Abstract: Au nanoparticles (NPs) labeled with the handedness tag of "d-" or "l-", which were detached from inorganic chiral silica, showed both intrinsic chirality and surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) activity. In the presence of these chiral Au substrates, it was found that the enantiomer of cystine with the same handedness tag of Au NPs would show stronger Raman scattering signal intensities than those of the enantiomer with the opposite tag, where the differences could be over three times. Consequently, this work afforded a novel enantioselective recognition method on ordinary Raman spectroscopy by using chiral plasmonic metallic nanomaterials.

Abstract: This article describes the experience with the endoscopically assisted fixation of the customized total temporomandibular joint (TMJ) prosthesis in TMJ Yang's system only through a modified preauricular approach. Twenty patients (23 joints) treated with the custom-made total TMJ prosthesis were retrospectively recruited. An endoscopically assisted technique was used through a modified preauricular approach to fix the mandibular component for all these patients. These reconstructions were evaluated by surgical records, clinical examinations, and radiographic observations. All patients had successful fixation of the prosthesis. No patient had permanent weakness of the facial nerve and malocclusion or any other severe complications. The mean operative time was 111 min per joint (range, 85-133 min). The average surgical bleeding was 195 ml per side. The mean follow-up period was 16.2 months (range, 5-32 months). The mean scores were 8.3 for surgical satisfaction and 9.2 for scar healing evaluation. Abstract: Abnormal physiological levels of sialic acid (SA) could be used to diagnosis cancer progression stages. In this work, we describe an enzyme-assist-interference-free strategy for Raman selective determination of SA in serum. First, we assemble gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) onto the indium tin oxide glass (ITO) to construct an ITO/Au two-dimension substrate. Through modification of 4-mercaptoboric acid (4-MPBA) onto the surface of ITO/Au, the SA response plate is prepared due to the reversible esterification bond. In this strategy, a sandwich structure is rationally designed as ITO/Au/4-MPBA/SA/4-MPBA/Au to enhance the Raman scattering. The Raman detection linear concentration of SA ranged from 2.5 × 10-7 to 1.5 × 10-6 M, and a limit of detection about 1.2 × 10-7 M could be achieved. Considering the presence of glucose (Glu) in physiological fluid, we introduce glucose oxidase to remove the interference from Glu and realize the accurate determination of SA. The proposed novel Raman rapid method provides an ultrasensitive and interference-free protocol for the early diagnosis of cancer.

24. [Dosimetric effect of patient arm position on Cyberknife radiosurgery for spinal tumors]

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To assess the potential dosimetric effects of arms movement in patients with Cyberknife spine tumors. METHODS: In the study, 12 patients with thoracic and lumbar tumors were retrospectively selected respectively. The contour of the patient's arms was sketched and the CT density was modified to be equivalent to air in order to simulate the extreme case when the arm was completely removed from the radiation fields. The dose of simulated plan was re-calculated with the original beam parameters and compared with the original plan. The changes of V(100), D(95), and D(90), conformity index (CI) and heterogeneity index (HI) in planning target volume (PTV), as well as D(max), D(1cc) and D(2cc) in the spinal cord, stomach, esophagus, and intestines were analyzed by comparing with the original plans. RESULTS: Compared with the original treatment plan, V(100), D(95), D(90) and CI of PTV for the simulated plan was increased by 0.86%, 2.02%, 1.97% and 0.80% respectively, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). D(max), D(1cc) and D(2cc) of spinal cord was increased by 2.35%, 0.59% and 1.49% on average, compared with the original plan, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The difference was statistically significant only in average D(2cc) of stomach, which was increased by 1.70%, compared with the original plan (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in dose change of eso-phagus and intestine between the original and simulated plans. CONCLUSION: This study analyzed the most extreme arm position in spinal tumor of radiation therapy based on Cyberknife. It was found that the change of arm position had little effect on dosimetry. In addition, with the change of arm position, the dose in PTV and organ at risk (OAR) increased, but the increase was relatively small. Therefore, in some special cases where the patient really can't keep the arm position consistent during treatment, reasonable adjustment can be accepted. However, in order to ensure accurate radiotherapy, patient position should be as stable and consistent as possible.

Abstract: The multistep procedures for preparing novel anionic spherical polyelectrolyte brushes (ASPB) by grafting sodium-p-styrenesulfonate (SSS) from the surface of γ-methacryloxypropyl trimethoxy-silane modified SiO2 nanoparticles were demonstrated. The morphology of ASPB was characterized by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The core radius Rc and hydrodynamic radius Rh of ASPB measured by Zeta Potential/Particle Sizer (ZLS) were ca. 50nm and (84.5±1) nm respectively. The percentage of grafting (PG%) of polyelectrolyte brushes was 4.3% investigated by Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA). Detailed characterizations on ASPB were performed by cleaving the grafts from the anchoring surface. The molecular weight (MW) and polydispersity (MW/Mn) of brushes were 1.788•103 g/mol and 1.6 respectively from Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC) measurements. Moreover, Rh and ζ-potential of ASPB in the presence of aqueous NaCl solutions of different concentrations were discussed.

Abstract: Using data samples with a total integrated luminosity of $20.1~\rm fb^{-1}$ collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, the cross section of the process $e^+e^- \rightarrow \pi^+\pi^-\psi(3686)$ is measured at center-of-mass energies between 4.0076 and 4.6984 GeV. The measured cross section is consistent with previous results, but with much improved precision. A fit to the measured energy-dependent cross section, which includes three Breit-Wigner functions and a non-resonant contribution, confirms the existence of the charmonium-like states $Y(4220)$, $Y(4390)$, and $Y(4660)$. This is the first observation of the $Y(4660)$ at the BESIII experiment.

32. [Identification of potential targets and synergistic mechanism of Kushen Decoction for the treatment of cryptosporidiosis]

Abstract: To explore the potential targets and synergistic mechanisms of Kushen Decoction for the treatment of cryptosporidiosis using network pharmacology and molecular docking methods.The main active ingredients of Kushen Decoction were captured from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform (TC-MSP) and the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) database, and the potential targets were predicted. In addition, the active ingredients of Kushen Decoction that were not included in the TCMSP database were retrieved in CNKI, WanFang Data, CBM, PubMed and Web of Science databases, and the target genes of all supplemented active ingredients were predicted using the online TargetNet database. Network construction and analysis were performed using the Cytoscape software, and cryptosporidiosis-related targets were retrieved in the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database and GeneCards database. The protein-protein interaction (PPI) network was created using the STRING database, and the DAVID database was used for GO enrichment and KEGG pathway analyses. The tissue distribution of key targets was investigated using the BioGPS database, and the AutoDockTools software was employed to verify the molecular docking results.A total of 38 active ingredients of Kushen Decoction were screened, and the core ingredients included quercetin, (+)-14α-hydroxymatrine and apigenin. A total of 831 targets of Kushen Decoction and 512 cryptosporidiosis-related targets were predicted, and PPI network analysis revealed 69 key targets, including AKT1, TNF and IL-6. There were 303 biological processes, 46 molecular functions and 29 cellular components involved in the treatment of cryptosporidiosis with Kushen Decoction, and 13 KEGG pathways played a therapeutic role in the synergistic mechanisms of multiple targets, such as Toll-like receptor (TLR), nuclear factor kappa B(NF)-κB, nucleotide binding oligomerization domain like receptor (NLR) signal pathways. The core targets were mainly distributed in the hematologic and immune systems. Molecular docking analysis showed that the binding energy between active ingredients and key targets were all less than 0 kJ/mol, indicating the strong binding of ligands to receptors.The active ingredients of Kushen Decoction, such as quercetin, (+)-14α-hydroxymatrine and apigenin, may act on targets like AKT1, TNF, IL-6 to modulate TLR, NLR and NF-κB signaling pathways to play a synergistic role in the treatment of cryptosporidiosis in the hematologic and immune system.

Abstract: Using 2.93 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV, we measure the absolute branching fractions of the decays $D^0\to K^-e^+\nu_e$ and $D^+\to \bar K^0 e^+\nu_e$ to be $(3.574\pm0.031_{\rm stat}\pm 0.025_{\rm syst})\%$ and $(8.70\pm0.14_{\rm stat}\pm 0.16_{\rm syst})\%$, respectively. Starting with the process $e^+e^-\to D\bar{D}$, a new reconstruction method is employed to select events that contain candidates for both $D\to \bar Ke^+\nu_e$ and $\bar D\to Ke^-\bar \nu_e$ decays. The branching fractions reported in this work are consistent within uncertainties with previous BESIII measurements that selected events containing $D\to \bar Ke^+\nu_e$ and inclusive hadronic $\bar D$ decays. Combining our results with the lifetimes of the $D^0$ and $D^+$ mesons and the previous BESIII measurements leads to a ratio of the two decay partial widths of $\frac{\bar \Gamma_{D^0\to K^{-}e^+\nu_{e}}}{\bar \Gamma_{D^{+}\to \bar K^{0}e^+\nu_{e}}}=1.040\pm0.021$. This ratio supports isospin symmetry in the $D^0\to K^-e^+\nu_e$ and $D^+\to \bar K^0 e^+\nu_e$ decays within $1.9\sigma$.

Abstract: The Born cross sections are measured for the first time for the processes $e^+e^-\to D_s^{*+}D_{s0}^*(2317)^- +c.c.$ and $e^+e^-\to D_s^{*+}D_{s1}(2460)^- +c.c.$ at the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}=$ 4.600~GeV, 4.612~GeV, 4.626~GeV, 4.640~GeV, 4.660~GeV, 4.68~GeV, and 4.700~GeV, and for $e^+e^-\to D_s^{*+}D_{s1}(2536)^- +c.c.$ at $\sqrt{s}=$ 4.660~GeV, 4.680~GeV, and 4.700~GeV, using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. No structures are observed in cross-section distributions for any of the processes.

Abstract: We study the process e^+e^− → π^+π^−ηγ, where the photon is radiated from the initial state. About 8000 fully reconstructed events of this process are selected from the BABAR data sample with an integrated luminosity of 469 fb^(-1). Using the π^+π^−η invariant mass spectrum, we measure the e^+e^− → π^+π^−η cross section in the e^+e^− center-of-mass energy range from 1.15 to 3.5 GeV. The cross section is well described by the Vector-Meson dominance model with four ρ-like states. We observe 49±9 events of the J/ψ decay to π^+π^−η and measure the product Γ_(J/Ψ → e^+e^−)B_(J/Ψ → π^+π^−η) = 2.34 ± 0.43_(stat) ± 0.16_(syst) eV.

41. [Therapeutic effects of sacral neuromodulation on detrusor underactivity]

Abstract: OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effects of sacral neuromodulation (SNM) on detrusor underactivity (DUA). METHODS: From December 2019 to April 2020, 6 patients with DUA who had been treated with SNM were assessed retrospectively. The average age was 58 years (46-65 years), with 3 males and 3 females. All the patients were diagnosed with DUA by urodynamics examination. Obstruction of bladder outlet was excluded through the cystoscopy. No patient had the history of neurological disease. All the patients were placed with the bladder colostomy tube before SNM. One female patient accepted the trans-urethral resection of bladder neck. Two male patients accepted the trans-urethral resection of prostate. All the 3 patients had no improvement of void symptom after the urethral operation. Before SNM, the average 24 h times of voiding was 23.8 (18-33), average volume of every voiding was 34.2 mL (10-50 mL), average residual volume was 421.7 mL (350-520 mL). The preoperative and postoperative 24 h urine frequency, average voided volume, and average residual urine volume were compared respectively. RESULTS: Totally 6 patients underwent SNM with stage Ⅰ procedure. The operation time for stage Ⅰ procedure was 62-135 min (average 90 min). After an average follow-up of two weeks, stage Ⅱ procedure was performed on responders. Four patients accepted stage Ⅱ procedure (conversion rate 66.7%), the other two patients refused the stage Ⅱ procedure because the urine frequency did not reach the satisfied level. But all the patients had the improvement of residual urine volume. For the 4 patients at the follow-up of 10-15 months, the improvement of void was still obvious. For the all patients after stage Ⅰ procedure, the average 24 h urine frequency reduced to 13.5 times (9-18 times, P < 0.001), the average voided volume increased to 192.5 mL (150-255 mL, P < 0.001), and the average residual urine volume reduced to 97.5 mL (60-145 mL, P < 0.001). No adverse events, such as wound infection or electrode translocation were detected during an average follow-up of 11.3 months. Only one of the 4 patients who received the stage Ⅱ procedure did the intermittent catheterization for one time each day. CONCLUSION: SNM provides a minimal invasive approach for the management of DUA.

Abstract: Based on an $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected with the BESIII detector at $\sqrt{s}=3.773 \mathrm{GeV}$, the first amplitude analysis of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decay $D^{+}\to K^+ K_S^0 \pi^0$ is performed. From the amplitude analysis, the $K^*(892)^+ K_S^0$ component is found to be dominant with a fraction of $(57.1\pm2.6\pm4.2)\%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. In combination with the absolute branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^+ K_S^0 \pi^0)$ measured by BESIII, we obtain $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^*(892)^+ K_S^0)=(8.69\pm0.40\pm0.64\pm0.51)\times10^{-3}$, where the third uncertainty is due to the branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D^+\to K^+ K_S^0 \pi^0)$. The precision of this result is significantly improved compared to the previous measurement.

Abstract: The chirality of amino acids plays a key role in many biochemical processes, with the development of spectroscopic analysis methods for the chiral differentiation of amino acids being significant. Normal Raman spectroscopy is blind to chirality; however, chiral discrimination of tyrosine (Tyr) (or phenylalanine, Phe) enantiomers using Raman spectra can be achieved assisted by the construction of a simple chiral selector (i.e., cysteine (Cys)-modified Au nanoparticles (NPs)). Due to the synergetic effect between Cys and the Au NPs, the characteristic Raman scattering intensities of the Tyr (or Phe) enantiomer with the same chirality of Cys are enantioselectively boosted by over four-fold compared with those of the counter enantiomer of Tyr (or Phe). The large differences in the Raman signals allow for the determination of enantiomeric excess. Interestingly, such enantiomeric discrimination is not revealed by the common chiral analysis method of circular dichroism spectroscopy. Consequently, it is anticipated that Raman spectroscopy based on molecular vibrations will find broad applications in chirality-related detection with high sensitivity and species specificity.

48. Impact of clinical domains other than arthritis on composite outcomes in psoriatic arthritis: comparison of treatment effects in the SEAM-PsA trial

Abstract: ObjectiveWe used the Study of Etanercept And Methotrexate in Combination or as Monotherapy in Subjects with Psoriatic Arthritis (SEAM-PsA) data set to examine the impact of presence of enthesitis, dactylitis, nail disease and/or psoriasis on treatment response in patients with early psoriatic arthritis (PsA).MethodsThis post hoc analysis evaluated the effect of baseline Spondyloarthritis Research Consortium of Canada (SPARCC) Enthesitis Index (EI), Leeds Enthesitis Index (LEI), Leeds Dactylitis Index (LDI), modified Nail Psoriasis Severity Index (mNAPSI) scores and body surface area (BSA) on composite outcomes of minimal disease activity (MDA) responses, Psoriatic Arthritis Disease Activity Score (PASDAS) low disease activity (LDA), PASDAS changes and Good Responses and Disease Activity Index for Psoriatic Arthritis (DAPSA) scores at Week 24.ResultsOverall, 851 patients completed the SEAM-PsA trial and were included in the analysis. Baseline enthesitis (SPARCC EI>0 vs SPARCC EI=0 or LEI>0 vs LEI=0) was not associated with improved outcomes. Baseline dactylitis (LDI>0 vs LDI=0) was positively associated with improved MDA (OR: 1.4, p=0.0457), PASDAS LDA (OR: 1.8, p=0.0014) and Good Responses (OR: 1.6, p=0.0101) and greater reductions in PASDAS (estimate: –0.9, p1 vs mNAPSI≤1) was positively associated with improved MDA (OR: 1.8, p=0.0233) and PASDAS LDA (OR: 1.8, p=0.0168) responses and greater reduction in PASDAS (estimate: –0.7, p=0.0005) at Week 24.ConclusionsResults from our analysis suggest that presence of dactylitis and nail disease, but not enthesitis, are associated with improved outcomes in patients with early PsA who were treated with methotrexate and/or etanercept.

Abstract: Using 6.32 fb$^{-1}$ of electron-positron collision data recorded by the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4.178 and 4.226~GeV, we present the first search for the decay $D_s^+\to a_0(980)^0 e^+\nu_e,\,a_0(980)^0\rightarrow \pi^0\eta$, which could proceed via $a_0(980)$-$f_0(980)$ mixing. No significant signal is observed. An upper limit of $1.2 \times 10^{-4}$ at the $90\%$ confidence level is set on the product of the branching fractions of $D_{s}^{+}\to a_0(980)^0 e^+\nu_e$ and $a_0(980)^0\rightarrow \pi^0\eta$ decays.
