This study calculated the vulnerability and current adaptive capacity of shrimp farmers to climate change in two districts (Duyen Hai –DH and Cau Ngang- CN) of Tra Vinh province, Vietnam. The IPCC framework of vulnerability assessment was employed to analyze three factors (exposure, sensitivity, and adaptive capacity). We proposed 45 indices to calculate those dimensions based on the livelihood capitals (human, physical, natural, social and financial capital). Three methods of assessing climate change vulnerability index were applied to compare the livelihood vulnerability index of shrimp farmers in the two districts (Climate Vulnerability Index – CVI, Livelihood Effect Index-LEI, and Livelihood Vulnerability index under Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change –LVI-IPCC). Total of 300 households were interviewed in 10 randomly selected villages distributed equally over two districts. The results indicated that three ways of measuring livelihood vulnerability index are consistent with each other. The analysis revealed that the inland district (CN) was more vulnerable to climate change than the coastal districts (DH) due to natural capital and social capital mainly.

The reaction 3 He( γ , p ) n was measured at the ALS-Saclay at kinematics corresponding to mean neutron recoil momenta near 30 and 75 MeV. Differential cross sections were obtained for photon energies between E γ = 200 and 450 MeV at proton emission angles relative to the p − p center of mass of 49° and 75°, and a proton angular distribution was obtained at E γ = 350 MeV. The cross section for photon absorption by a p − p pair is found to be lower by two orders of magnitude compared to that for a p − n pair in 3 He. Theoretical multiple scattering calculations reproduce the data rather well, except for significant discrepancies at low E γ and forward proton angles.

We have perfromed high-precision measurements of {sup 3}He charge and magnetic form factors up to {ital Q}{sup 2}=1 (GeV/{ital c}){sup 2}. These measurements combined with previous data on {sup 3}He and {sup 3}H allow us to separate the three-nucleon isospin charge and magnetic form factors up to {ital Q}{sup 2}=1 (GeV/{ital c}){sup 2}. A large discrepancy between experiment and theory occurs for the {ital T}=1 charge form factor.

Enterprise terminologies are now getting close to a panel of semantic representations coming from various disciplines and practices, and that share the relationship between lexical and conceptual levels within data structures. As long as these representations are built up from texts that reflect usage, their role goes far beyond drawing a simple inventory of terms and definitions. From now on, these structures are indicators of either convergences or misfunctions (where), of vocabularies as well as professional competences (who) or even temporal evolutions (when). By doing so, document based semantic representations are detectors useful to improve the company communication and knowledge management. To better measure these challenges, it is worth underlying the impact of corpora selection the exact nature of data structures and the kind of available techniques and software for their design from texts.

We compare the elastic-scattering cross sections for electrons and positrons from {sup 208}Pb and {sup 12}C. The results demonstrate that the electron-nucleus interaction can be described to good accuracy as a single hard-photon exchange process, and validate the theoretical framework used to interpret electron-scattering data in terms of ground-state charge densities of nuclei.

Elastic electron scattering cross sections have been measured for 205 Tl and 206 Pb at an incident energy of 502 MeV, covering a momentum transfer range from 1.4 to 3.2 fm −1 . The charge density difference of the two isotones is accurately determined. We show that the shape of the 3s proton orbit can be extracted from this difference without ambiguity. The experimental shape is compared to mean field theory predictions.

Ground-state and transition densities for 5 osmium and platinum isotopes A = 188 − 196 have been measured by electron scattering (qmax = 3.2 fm−1), and compared to dynamical Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov calculations performed with a finite-range density- dependent force. Among the various microscopic calculations performed, only the full HFB calculation which allows for the triaxial, γ-soft nature of these nuclei, correctly reproduces the data.

Inelastic electron scattering cross sections have been measured up to a momentum transfer q =3.9 fm −1 , determining very precisely the transition charge density of the first excited 2 (1) + state of 58 Ni. The results have been interpreted in a fully self-consistent theoretical treatment for both the ground state and the 2 (1) + transition charge density of 58 Ni. The model applied is a collective description where the dynamics of the motion induces a non-zero deformation with nearly maximum triaxiality ( γ =30°). It is found that an adjustment of the collective wave function is needed to reproduce the measured transition charge density.

The ground-state charge densities of /sup 204,206,207,208/Pb have been accurately determined by elastic electron scattering. Mean-field calculations fail to describe the individual charge densities in the central region of the nucleus. However, they properly account for polarization mechanisms in the nuclear interior, as they accurately describe the corresponding charge-density differences. We show that these data are sensitive to the value of the nuclear compressibility kappa and that they are compatible with the value kappa = 230 MeV.

The magnetic form factor of /sup 41/Ca has been measured by elastic electron scattering in the momentum-transfer range between 1.8 and 3.3 fm/sup -1/. The 1f/sub 7/2/-neutron-orbit radius inferred from this data definitively demonstrates that the explanation of the Coulomb-energy anomaly cannot be found in a reduction of the valence-orbit radius.

Elastic electron scattering cross sections have been measured up to a momentum transfer q = 3.6 fm − , determining with precision both the charge densities ϱ ( r ) and the charge density difference Δϱ( r ) between 116 Sn and 124 Sn. An excellent agreement is found between the measured value of Δϱ ( r ) and the predictions of self-consistent field theories.

We have measured the deuteron magnetic form factor B(q/sup 2/) for values of the momentum transfer squared between 7 and 28 fm/sup -2/. The data are compared to relativistic and nonrelativistic predictions including meson-exchange--current contributions. Significant disagreement is found for large momentum transfers.

The $3s$ radial wave function $R(\mathcal{r})$ has been determined by electron scattering from $^{206}\mathrm{Pb}$ and $^{205}\mathrm{Tl}$. The shape of $R(\mathcal{r})$ in the central region of the nucleus is used to test the validity of the independent-particle shell model at large nuclear density.

The elastic magnetic form factor of /sup 3/He has been measured up to q/sup 2/ = 32 fm/sup -2/. Few-body theory fails to explain the location of the diffraction minimum unless nonnucleonic degrees of freedom are explicitly introduced.

The collective properties of $^{70,72,74,76}\mathrm{Ge}$ have been explored through the measurement of the transition charge densities of the first two ${2}^{+}$ states up to a momentum transfer of 3.0 ${\mathrm{fm}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$. Their spatial structure and their apparently anomalous behavior are readily explained in the framework of the interacting boson model.

The magnetic form factor of the 51 V nucleus has been measured between 3 and 4 fm −1 . These new data show a clear evidence for the diffraction structure of the M7 magnetic multipole. The data are compared to Hartree-Fock results including meson exchange currents and core polarization effects.

We have measured the charge and magnetic form factors of tritium for values of the momentum transfer up to 31.3 ${\mathrm{fm}}^{\ensuremath{-}2}$. The data are compared with calculations for the three-body system including meson-exchange-current contributions.

Among all deuteron observables, the A(q2) structure function plays a special role. Since it is sensitive to the shape of the deuteron wave function it is used as a test for models of the nucleon-nucleon interaction. In the absence of a neutron target, it also provides one of the best possible means for extracting the neutron electric form factor G E n . To a smaller extent, A(q2) is also sensitive to meson exchange currents and relativistic effects. Delineating the effect of all these ingredients is however a difficult task. Part of the difficulty comes from the experimental side. In spite of large number of measurements [l], the medium momentum transfer region is still not accurately known; precise data between q2 = 1 and 18 fm-2 are reported in the present paper.
