Ultraviolet (UV) light exposure accounts for only 40-50% of the attributable risk for cutaneous melanoma (CM); also classical UV-induced lesions are rare in melanomas (especially among CM with NRAS or BRAF mutations). It is therefore likely that an additional environmental factor exists as familial and genetic factors play a role in less than 5%. A large amount of (largely forgotten) epidemiologic data indicates that heavy metal exposure is strongly associated with the development of CM. Also, epidemiologic studies of patients with joint replacement indicate a marked subsequent time-related increase in melanoma in patients with metal-on-metal hip arthroplasties. In these patients chromium and cobalt levels rise to 10x normal and stay elevated at levels two- to threefold normal for at least 10 years. Chromium is widely used in industry for its anticorrosive and steel-strengthening properties and is widespread in everyday materials. Our hypothesis is therefore that chromium, alone or in conjunction with UV, plays a major role in the pathogenesis of CM. We have incubated human neonatal melanocytes for more than 10 weeks in the presence of a wide range and concentrations of metals without effect except by hexavalent chromium Cr(VI)and to a lesser degree Co²(+). After prolonged culture, chromium-incubated cells produced foci and when replated secondary colonies formed. We have just begun to study this phenomenon in more detail and studies without and with different wavelengths of UV will be explored. Of interest is that aneuploidy (a universal chromosomal change in cutaneous melanoma) in lymphocytes in patients with hip-on-hip metal prostheses has been demonstrated by others.

Traditional morphometric methods of seed quality analysis, although they are accurate, are less informative, labor-intensive and long-term in execution. In modern conditions, in seed science and seed control, the use of more informative and high-speed instrumental methods is required. The method of microfocus X-ray of seeds is one of them, it allows you to visualize the internal structure of seeds. In the joint work of employees of the Federal Scientific Vegetable Center, Agrophysical Research Institute and St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, Research Institute for Storage Problems of "Rosrezerv", a method of X-ray analysis of the quality of vegetable seeds was developed and tested. Currently, programming, automation of this method is underway. The method of digital analysis of X-ray images in automatic mode comes as a replacement for the previously applied visual analysis of seed radiographs. A modernized software and hardware complex was developed and tested, a program algorithm was compiled, consisting of several stages. As a result, the quality analysis of seeds is significantly accelerated by visualizing their internal structure. The newly developed computer program "Sortsemkontrol-2" recognizes seeds according to the following qualitative indicators: full-value, underdevelopment, undevelopment, monstrous. The analysis results are automatically reported as a log. The fractional analysis of the seed batch is also carried out, the dimensional characteristic of each fraction is given, according to the two largest adjacent fractions, the equalization of the seed batch is determined. Fractional analysis of a batch of seeds is of great practical importance for pre-production of seeds. In the future, the application of the computer program "Sortsemkontrol-2" will provide an accelerated, at the same time informative analysis of the quality of seeds, which is very important in the conditions of commercialization of seed turnover.

In the present work, a variety of symmetrical and unsymmetrical 2-pyridyl aryl selenium (IV) chlorides or bromides were prepared by the dropwise addition of a dilute solution of bromine or sulfuryl chloride to the corresponding 2-pyridyl aryl selenide in dried organic solvent with continuous stirring at 0 C. Removal of the solvent under reduced pressure resulted in the synthesis of, 2-pyridyl aryl selenium (IV) bromides or chlorides, respectively, in quantitative yields. The titled dihalides prepared were characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopic studies, and single crystal X-ray analysis. Single crystal X-ray analysis revealed that the 2-pyridyl aryl selenium (IV) bromides/chlorides have a distorted trigonal bipyramidal structure. The pyridyl and phenyl rings along with a lone pair of electrons on selenium are at equatorial positions whereas chloride/bromide atoms at axial positions of the distorted trigonal bipyramidal structure.

We present the results of a comparative analysis of skeletal and dental pathologies in Middle Bronze Age individuals buried at Late Krotovo and Andronovo (Fedorovka) cemeteries in southwestern Siberia. This was the period when the Andronovo steppe tradition in Northern and Central Asia expanded in various directions, including the foreststeppe. Growth arrest lines on tibiae (Harris lines) and dental pathologies (enamel hypoplasia and caries) were recorded. To evaluate developmental anomalies in the bone tissue, digital X-ray analysis was used. The principal sample includes representatives of various sex and age groups buried at the largest cemetery in the region, Tartas-1 (Baraba forest-steppe). Harris lines and enamel hypoplasia result from a broad range of factors such as infections, occasional malnutrition, traumas, vitamin defi ciencies, etc. Caries is caused by a high amount of carbohydrates in the diet, accompanied by low standards of oral hygiene. These pathologies occur at different ages: Harris lines and enamel hypoplasia evidence adverse factors during infancy and adolescence, whereas caries is typical of adulthood. Late Krotovo and Andronovo groups differ in terms of occurrence and combination of pathologies. Enamel hypoplasia is less frequent in the Andronovo sample, indicating a lesser stress level in children. Harris lines are less frequent in the Late Krotovo group, suggestive of lower stress level during adolescence. These differences may be tentatively attributed to various models of subsistence and cultural adaptation.

The present paper reports on the synthesis and structure of bis(2-(diethylamino)-N-(2,6-dimethylphenyl)acetamide) or bis(lidocaine) tetrachloridocuprate(II). The complex with the formula (C14H23ON2)2CuCl4 (or (LidH)2[CuCl4]), crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 15.7831(2), b = 24.2992(2), c = 17.8748(2) Å, β = 104.874(1)°,V = 6625.58(13) Å3, Z = 8, and Dc = 1.355 Mg/m3. The coordination of the Cu2+ ions with chlorine atoms generates two differently distorted tetrahedral anions [CuCl4]2–, while four protonated cations LidH+ remain in an outer coordination sphere. Anions and cations are associated by hydrogen bonds of the N–H···Cl type to form the 2((LidH)2[CuCl4]) dimer, in which the distance between two copper atoms is 8.95 Å. With the help of hydrogen bonds of the type N–H···O and N–H···Cl, each dimer is connected with four neighboring dimers, resulting in a three-dimensional structure in which dimers lie at an angle of 28.39° to the a crystallographic axis in the ab planes located at a distance of 10.67 Å from each other.

All four possible stereoisomers of cis- and trans-2-bromo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ols, which are important intermediates in the synthesis of biologically active compounds, were synthesized and their configurations were studied by enzymatic kinetic resolution with the application of the Kazlauskas rule, X-ray diffraction analysis, as well as NMR using NOE-NMR and Karplus equation. Biocatalytic kinetic trans-esterification was used for resolution of racemates. Lipases Burkholderia cepacia and Candida Antarctica B (Novozyme 435) were effective as biocatalysts for biocatalytic esterification of 2-bromo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ols with isopropylidene acetate. The absolute configurations of (S,S)-, (R,R)-, (S,R)- and (R,S)-stereoisomers of 2-bromo-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-ols were established.

SEM–EDX and Raman spectroscopy analysis of radioactive compounds is often restricted to dedicated instrumentation, within radiological working areas, to manage the hazard and risk of contamination. Here, we demonstrate application of WetSEM® capsules for containment of technetium powder materials, enabling routine multimodal characterisation with general user instrumentation, outside of a controlled radiological working area. The electron transparent membrane of WetSEM® capsules enables SEM imaging of submicron non-conducting technetium powders and acquisition of Tc Lα X-ray emission, using a low cost desktop SEM–EDX system, as well as acquisition of good quality μ-Raman spectra using a 532 nm laser.

The results of X-ray studies of Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. seeds, which are characterized by very deep dormancy, are presented. The experiments were carried out on seeds of different geographic origins: Russia (Kropotkin, North Caucasus) and the Republic of Vietnam (Laitau province). Seeds in the North Caucasus were collected from the surface of the earth in February and therefore underwent natural stratification under the snow cover, while seeds in Laitau province were collected from trees after they matured and stored in a dry, non-stratified state until analysis. The types of identified hidden seed defects are described. The data of individual X-ray characteristics of each investigated seed («parametric passport») are given. Based on the presence of defects, it can be concluded that seeds from the Laityau province should have better sowing qualities compared to seeds from Kropotkin. Differences in the biometric parameters of two-year-old eucommia seedlings of different geographic origin are not significant. However, the germination rate of seeds from Kropotkin is much higher than their Laiteau. This can be explained by the varying degrees of natural readiness of the seeds for sowing. The results of X-ray analysis of stratified seeds of E. ulmoides from Kropotkin coincide with the results of their germination. However, it is not possible to assess the viability of eukomia seeds not subjected to stratification based on the results of determining their good quality by the X-ray method. To obtain the germination of seeds corresponding to the potential of their sowing qualities (according to the performed X-ray analysis) for Eucommia seeds, a long-term (at least 3–4 months) cold stratification is recommended.

OGATA Koan (1810–63) was a physician and the director of Tekijuku, and he contributed to Western medicine in the late Edo period. Osaka University preserves two of his medicine chests. One of the chests, which was used in his last years (the second chest) contained 22 glass bottles and 6 wooden cylinders. These bottles and cylinders contained formulated medicines; however, about half cannot be opened because of the long-term storage. It is necessary to comprehend the physical property of both the containers and their contents for investigation of this adequate preservation method; however, destructive analysis is not allowed. To analyze the medicines sealed in the glass bottles, we focused on muonic X-ray analysis, which has high transmittance. First, we certified the analytical methods using a historical medicinal specimen preserved in Osaka University. Thereafter, we applied the method on the bottles stored in the second chest. X-ray fluorescence identified the glass of those bottles to be lead potash glass. Among these bottles, we chose the bottle with the label “甘,” which contains white powdered medication, for muonic X-ray analysis. We identified the contents of the medication in the glass to be Hg2Cl2. Through this study, we first applied muonic X-ray analysis on the medical inheritances and succeeded to detect the elements contained both in the container and in the contents of the sealed bottle. This would be a new method for nondestructive analysis of such cultural properties.

BACKGROUND: White spot lesions (WSLs) are one of the common problems which occur on enamel surface around bonded brackets following orthodontic treatment. AIM: Evaluate the effect of Er,Cr:YSGG (λ = 2780 nm) laser and 45S5 bioactive glass (BAG) paste either alone or in combination on re-mineralization of enamel white spot lesions. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 50 enamel samples with induced WSLs. There are 5 groups (n=10). Group 1, control; Group 2, 45S5 BAG paste treatment only; Group 3, Er,Cr:YSGG laser irradiated (0.5 W, 20 Hz, 10 s) alone, Group 4, 45S5 BAG paste treatment applied before irradiation with same laser parameters in group 3 and Group 5, 45S5 BAG paste treatment applied after laser irradiation. Enamel surface was assessed morphologically by stereomicroscope and Mineral content analysis by Energy Dispersive X-ray Analysis (EDXA). The results were statistically analyzed. RESULTS: EDXA revealed the highest Ca, Ca/P ratio and least C mass % in group 4. The highest P mass% in group 5. Stereomicroscopic results of outer enamel surface revealed that WSLs were reduced in group 2 while disappeared in group 3, 4 & 5. Group 4 showed more translucent enamel surfaces, whereas group 5 showed homogenous radio-opaque enamel surface. Stereomicroscopic results of enamel subsurface revealed the least M.B dye penetration depth in group 3 followed by 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 respectively. CONCLUSIONS: 45S5 BAG paste treatment before Er,Cr:YSGG laser showed the best re-mineralized enamel surface with complete absence of WSLs.

Crystalline sponge (CS) based X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis allows for the observation of the structure of an analyte, including its absolute configuration. Herein we report a powerful analytical platform for the separation, isolation, and structural elucidation of a target analyte in a seamless way by coupling supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) with CS-based XRD analysis (SFC-CSXRD). The efficacy of this methodology is demonstrated by the rapid characterization of regio- and stereoisomers using three types of CSs with differing tolerances to the solvents used in SFC and guest-soaking.

The influence of fields of elastic interphase deformations on the amount of broadening of reflections from the separation phase is studied. It is established that elastic interphase deformations in strongly distorted crystals have a significant effect on the amount of broadening of reflections from the separation phase. Due to the fact that the broadening of the diffraction lines is used to judge the size of the selection particles, this leads to a significant error in estimating their true value. Therefore, the influence of elastic interphase strain fields should certainly be taken into account when determining particle sizes from x-ray data.

Objective: This study aims to analyze remineralization that occurred in demineralized dentin following polyaspartic acid (pAsp) in PILP immersion. Methods: Sixteen dentin block samples were immersed in demineralized solution. The samples were divided into controls (no pAsp immersion) orpAsp immersion for 3, 7, or 14 days (n’s=4). The samples were evaluated using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) to observe morphology andenergy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) to observe calcium and phosphate levels. Results: SEM revealed that pAsp immersion resulted in significantly higher dentin remineralization compared to the control group. However, therewere no significant differences among 3, 7, and 14 days of immersion. EDX revealed that remineralization occurred by the deposition of calcium andphosphate ions. Conclusion: Including pAsp in the PILP process produced rapid remineralization of demineralized dentin.

Silicon dioxide is the most common silicon compound and a major constituent of the Earth’s crust. Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is a chemical compound that is an oxide of silicon with the chemical formula SiO2. Silica is most commonly found in nature as quartz. Quartz exists in natural and synthetic forms. More specifically α-quartz is a widely known material, which is stable at low temperatures and pressures. The α-quartz is considered competent material because over the past many years it has attracted wide attention due to its unique characteristics. The article presents the research results from comparison between one of the morphological varieties of quartz – vein quartz of shungite rocks from Zazhogino deposit of Karelia – and a reference quartz sample. Via the Rietveld method, the values of the lattice parameters are determined. Apparent coherent length for vein quartz samples having contacts with various minerals are determined by the approximation method.

% FeGa2S4. Subject. The issues of indications, contraindications and the optimal timing for the removal of abnormally located lower third molars remain relevant in dentistry. Numerous evidence has been accumulated of their negative impact on the formation of the dentofacial system, however, X-ray patterns of patients with this pathology in the process of their formation, development and change in the angle of inclination, as well as the growing problems associated with the growth of these teeth in the dentition and bite have not been studied. The goal is to study the dynamics of the position of the rudiments of the abnormally located lower third molars in the process of their formation and growth and their influence on the state of the dentofacial system as a whole. Methodology. The study involved 28 patients with abnormally located impressive lower third molars, which were divided into 3 groups: in the first (8 people), the second molars were at the teething and growth stage, in the second (12 people) the second molar was in the occlusal plane at the stage closed apex, in the third (8 people) there was a multiple abnormal position of the mesially located teeth from the third molar. All measurements were performed using a virtual measuring device in the image mode of slices with Galileos Viewer software. Results. According to our results, a significant scatter was recorded in the timing of the formation of third molars from the period of mineralization of the crown of the teeth (12―15 years) to the end of growth and root formation (18―23 years). After 23 years, the roots of the abnormally located lower third molars in the patients examined by us had radiological signs of the end of formation (closed apex). Conclusion. Impact lower third molars continue their growth and have a negative effect on the condition of the teeth located mesial. This fact does not depend on concomitant orthodontic pathology, nor on the methods of orthodontic treatment (removable or non-removable equipment).

Background Automated radiologic analysis using computer-aided detection software (CAD) could facilitate chest X-ray (CXR) use in tuberculosis diagnosis. There is little to no evidence on the accuracy of commercially available deep learning-based CAD in different populations, including patients with smear-negative tuberculosis and people living with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV, PLWH). Methods We collected CXRs and individual patient data (IPD) from studies evaluating CAD in patients self-referring for tuberculosis symptoms with culture or nucleic acid amplification testing as the reference. We reanalyzed CXRs with three CAD programs (CAD4TB version (v) 6, Lunit v3.1.0.0, and qXR v2). We estimated sensitivity and specificity within each study and pooled using IPD meta-analysis. We used multivariable meta-regression to identify characteristics modifying accuracy. Results We included CXRs and IPD of 3727/3967 participants from 4/7 eligible studies. 17% (621/3727) were PLWH. 17% (645/3727) had microbiologically confirmed tuberculosis. Despite using the same threshold score for classifying CXR in every study, sensitivity and specificity varied from study to study. The software had similar unadjusted accuracy (at 90% pooled sensitivity, pooled specificities were: CAD4TBv6, 56.9% [95% confidence interval {CI}: 51.7–61.9]; Lunit, 54.1% [95% CI: 44.6–63.3]; qXRv2, 60.5% [95% CI: 51.7–68.6]). Adjusted absolute differences in pooled sensitivity between PLWH and HIV-uninfected participants were: CAD4TBv6, −13.4% [−21.1, −6.9]; Lunit, +2.2% [−3.6, +6.3]; qXRv2: −13.4% [−21.5, −6.6]; between smear-negative and smear-positive tuberculosis was: were CAD4TBv6, −12.3% [−19.5, −6.1]; Lunit, −17.2% [−24.6, −10.5]; qXRv2, −16.6% [−24.4, −9.9]. Accuracy was similar to human readers. Conclusions For CAD CXR analysis to be implemented as a high-sensitivity tuberculosis rule-out test, users will need threshold scores identified from their own patient populations and stratified by HIV and smear status.

Didymella glomerata and Truncatella angustata associated with grapevine trunk diseases (GTDs) in Iran, were grown in vitro to evaluate the production of phytotoxic metabolites as potential pathogenicity determinants. 2,5-Dihydroxymethylfuran and (+)-6-hydroxyramulosin were isolated from the culture filtrates of D. glomerata and T. angustata, respectively. They were identified by physical and spectroscopic (essentially 1 D and 2 D 1H and 13C NMR and ESIMS) methods and X ray analysis. Both compounds induced significant necrosis and curling on the leaves of the host plant Vitis vinifera L. and the effects were concentration dependent. No effect was observed on the leaves of the non-host Solanum lycopersicum L.. plant.

In continuation of our phytochemical study on the aerial part of Tanacetopsis karataviensis (Kovalevsk.) Kovalevsk, three new guaiane-type sesquiterpene lactones were isolated namely karatanolide (1), 11,13β-dihydrokaratanolide (2) and 11,13α-dihydrokaratanolide (3), in addition to the two known sesquiterpene lactones 1β,10α-dihydroxyarglabin (4) and artefin (5). The structures of the isolated sesquiterpene lactones were elucidated by IR and NMR spectroscopy. Single crystal X-ray diffraction allowed to unambiguously confirm the structure of the isolated sesquiterpene lactones. Quantum chemical calculations of the guaianolides 1–3 suggested the existence of two conformations for the seven-membered cycle. All sesquiterpene lactones from Tanacetopsis karataviensis were isolated for the first time.

Functionally 4,6-disubstituted 1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines are important compounds with various pharmacological activities. 1-Substituted 4-chloro-6-(chloromethyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidines are practically unexplored derivatives in this series. In this paper, it was shown that the nucleophilic substitution of 4-Chloro-6-(chloromethyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine with methylamine produced selectively 4-substituted product, 6-(chloromethyl)-N,1-dimethyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine. The structure of the synthesized compound was established by elemental analysis, high resolution mass-spectrometry, 1H, 13C-NMR, and IR spectroscopy, mass-spectrometry, and X-ray analysis.

Coronavirus disease, 2019 (COVID-19) is highly contagious. Chest X-ray (CXR) became the first clinical tool to examine the infection of COVID-19. The progress in the pandemic state of coronavirus makes the entire medical world to rely upon CXR because of its ubiquity and decreased difficulties in the detection of diseases. Most of the chest diseases are curable if observed in the beginning stages. CXR examination is a time-consuming medical procedure that relies on the practitioners’ level of experience. In some instances, medical professionals ignore the illness in the first CXR tests, and during re-examination, disease symptoms may be identified. In this paper, a classification task is carried out with the input of CXR images, and the classification results are declared as COVID-19 positive or COVID-19 negative using deep learning approach.

We conducted an X-ray analysis of one of the two Planck-detected triplet-cluster systems, PLCK G334.8-38.0, with a $\sim100$~ks deep XMM-Newton data. We find that the system has a redshift of $z=0.37\pm{0.01}$ but the precision of the X-ray spectroscopy for two members is too low to rule out a projected triplet system, demanding optical spectroscopy for further investigation. In projection, the system looks almost like an equilateral triangle with an edge length of $\sim2.0\,\mathrm{Mpc}$, but masses are very unevenly distributed ($M_{500} \sim [2.5,0.7,0.3] \times 10^{14}\,\mathrm{M_{\odot}}$ from bright to faint). The brightest member appears to be a relaxed cool-core cluster and is more than twice as massive as both other members combined. The second brightest member appears to be a disturbed non-cool-core cluster and the third member was too faint to make any classification. None of the clusters have an overlapping $R_{500}$ region and no signs of cluster interaction were found; however, the XMM-Newton data alone are probably not sensitive enough to detect such signs, and a joint analysis of X-ray and the thermal Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect (tSZ) is needed for further investigation, which may also reveal the presence of the warm-hot intergalactic medium (WHIM) within the system. The comparison with the other Planck-detected triplet-cluster-system (PLCK G214.6+36.9) shows that they have rather different configurations, suggesting rather different merger scenarios, under the assumption that they are both not simply projected triplet systems., Comment: Accepted for publication by A&A. The study aimed to evaluate the internal morphology of Passiflora eichleriana Mast., Passiflora nitida Kunth. and Passiflora mucronata Lam. seeds cryopreserved with different cryoprotectants. The treatment were control (without cryoprotectant or cryopreservation), seeds cryopreserved without cryoprotectant, 1.73, 2.28, 2.60 or 2.71 M glycerol, 0.37, 0.46, 0.54 or 0.61 M sucrose and 0.37, 0.72, 1.04 or 1.35 M dimethylsulfoxide. The seeds were cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen (-196 °C) for seven days. The cryopreserved seeds were dipped in water bath (37 °C) for 5 minutes to defrost. The percentage of filled, empty, malformed and damaged seeds was determined. The seeds were analyzed by X-ray to verify damages caused by the cryopreservation or defrost. Our results demonstrate that X-ray is an efficient method to analyses cryopreserved seeds and the cryopreservation technique did not cause mechanical damage of P. eichleriana, P. nitida and P. mucronata seeds.

The thickness of washcoat loading on high-performance monolithic catalysts is normally determined by vernier caliper procedure, which gives rough result of washcoat thickness but does not address such parameters as morphology and homogeneity, accurate thickness of the layer and chemical composition of the coated layers in honeycomb-shaped monolithic catalysts. In this work, we proposed a methodology of washcoat analysis including the thickness and chemical composition of the coated layers in honeycomb-shaped monolithic catalysts. The method can realize accurate determination of washcoat thickness and the direct analysis of chemical composition in washcoat of single-layered or double-layered monolith catalyst, which is applicable for research and development of e coating technology and detection of product.

The first electron microscope in Costa Rica was a donation from the government of Japan throught its International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 1974. This donation made possible the consolidation of what was to hecome the University of Costa Rica's Electron Microscope Unit (UME). Within three years the first scientific papers were published, dealing with ultrastructural aspects of "Com's rayado fino virus" and rotavirus, viral agent of human diarrhea. Subsequent papers out of the UME were published for the most part in the Journal of Tropical Biology, totaling at least 50 in that journal alone by the year 2000. With the recent acquisition of Energy Dispersive Spectrometer to coupled in transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope to X ray analysis, the data acquisition of the UME has been greatly enhanced, making possible to analyze both structure and elemental chemical composition in a specimen. Other applications of this new technology include studies of environmental pollution with heavy metals, such as comparative analysis of residues on leaves from urban areas and those on leaves from primary forest.

This article shows a study of the effect of mechanical activation of the initial mixture of reagents NiO and Fe2O3 at different speeds of grinding bowl rotation on synthesis of nickel ferrite. Nickel ferrite was produced by the solid-phase synthesis at a temperature of 900 °C for 240 minutes. The obtained ferrite samples were investigated by thermal gravimetric and X-ray phase analysis. The Curie temperature values are obtained, as well as the magnitude of the change of detected instrument weight at the magnetic phase transition (ferromagnetic-paramagnetic) of nickel ferrite using thermal gravimetric curves (TG/DTG) with applied external magnetic field. Increasing of the homogeneity degree of ferrite materials with an increase in the mechanical activation rate is shown based on the data of X-ray phase analysis. The experimental results obtained from thermal, magnetic, and X-ray analyzes were compared.
