Dietary protein intake is of great significance for the bone health of middle-aged and elderly people. This study is aimed to explore the relationships between dietary protein intake and the risk of osteoporosis in middle-aged and older individuals among US population.Based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), this study includes a total of 20497 participants during 2005-2008, and identify 4707 middle-aged and older people aged 45 years or above. Demographic data and relevant dietary intake information are acquired through in-home management questionnaires. The logistic regression models are established to identify the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (CI) of OP in each quartile category of energy-adjusted dietary protein intake. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is applied to explore the optimal cut-off value of daily dietary protein intake for predicting risk of OP.442 participants with OP are identified among 4707 middle-aged and older people, and the dietary protein intake of OP group is significantly lower than that of non-OP group (P0.001). The logistic regression analysis shows that with the increase of daily dietary protein intake, the prevalence of OP in each quartile category decreases gradually (P0.001). This trend is not altered in univariate model (P0.001), as well as the adjustments for the covariates of age and BMI (Model 1, P0.001), the covariates of sex (Model 2, P=0.036), the covariates of smoking, drinking alcohol, education, ratio of family income to poverty, hypertension and diabetes (Model 3, P0.001), and the covariates of dietary intake (Model 4, P=0.008). Moreover, we also identify that the daily dietary protein intake of 61.2g is the optimal cut-off value for predicting risk of OP.In general, among US population, the lower daily dietary protein intake is positively related to the ascending risk of OP in middle-aged and older individuals.

The recent discovery of superconductivity in infinite-layer nickelates generates tremendous research endeavors, but the ground state of their parent compounds is still under debate. Here, we report experimental evidences for the dominant role of Kondo scattering in the underdoped Nd1-xSrxNiO2 thin films. A resistivity minimum associated with logarithmic temperature dependence in both longitudinal and Hall resistivities are observed in the underdoped Nd1-xSrxNiO2 samples before the superconducting transition. At lower temperatures down to 0.04 K, the resistivities become saturated, following the prediction of the Kondo model. A linear scaling behavior $\sigma _{{\boldsymbol{xy}}}^{{{\boldsymbol AHE}}}{\rm{\ }}\sim{\rm{\ }}{\sigma }_{{\boldsymbol{xx}}}$ between anomalous Hall conductivity $\sigma _{{\boldsymbol{xy}}}^{{\boldsymbol{AHE}}}$ and conductivity ${\sigma }_{{\boldsymbol{xx}}}{\rm{\ }}$is revealed, verifying the dominant Kondo scattering at low temperature. The effect of weak (anti-)localization is found to be secondary. Our experiments can help clarifying the basic physics in the underdoped Nd1-xSrxNiO2 infinite-layer thin films.

Millimeter wave systems based on powerful gyrotron can deliver megawatt microwave power, which is an important auxiliary heating method for magnetic confinement fusion devices. Reflective gratings are normally used as quasi-optical polarizers for polarization control of the wave in such systems. Based on the coordinate transformation method, we developed a numerical code to study the broadband polarization strategy. By considering the synthesis of two polarizers, we designed a pair of polarizers in the W band. Calculation results indicated that almost arbitrary polarization can be achieved in a wide frequency range. To verify the design, we set up a low-power test platform and experiments were carried out. The performance of the polarizers was tested from 80 to 105 GHz with a step of 5 GHz. The test results agreed well with the numerical results, indicating that the design is reasonable. With the development of multi-frequency gyrotrons, the study in this paper can be used as a reference for the design of broadband polarizers of multi-frequency millimeter wave systems.

The mortality of female breast cancer in Shandong Province has increased since the 1970. The differential decomposition analysis found that the slight decline in the crude mortality of breast cancer among women was entirely due to non-demographic factors during the 1970-1990, and the significant increase in the crude mortality was due to a combination of demographic and non-demographic factors since the 1990. The contribution rate of demographic factor has gradually increased from 53.5% in 2004-2005 to 59.5% in 2011-2013, while that of non-demographic factor has decreased from 46.5% to 40.5%. The women aged 45-64 years old were the major population of female breast cancer deaths, accounting for 40%-60% of total breast cancer deaths in different times, and then the mortality in female aged 55-64 years old increased rapidly, with increases of 52.12%, 115.19% and 29.01% in 2011-2013 over the 1970-1974, 1990-1992 and 2004-2005, respectively (1970年以来，山东省女性乳腺癌死亡率总体呈上升趋势。差别分解分析发现，1970—1990年代女性乳腺癌粗死亡率的微弱下降全部为非人口因素所致，1990年以后死亡率大幅上升为人口和非人口因素的共同作用，其中人口因素的贡献率逐渐上升，由2004—2005年的53.5%上升到了2011—2013年的59.5%，非人口因素的贡献率有所下降，由46.5%降到了40.5%。45~64岁是女性乳腺癌死亡的主要年龄段，占不同时期乳腺癌总死亡的40%~60%；其中55~64岁年龄组死亡率增长迅速，2011—2013年分别比1970—1974年、1990—1992年和2004—2005年上升了52.12%、115.19%和29.01%（

Different from other trauma, the scar and pigmentation formed after healing of burn wound not only hinder beauty but also easily lead to a series of sequential psychological problems, such as depression and anxiety. Music therapy, as a supplementary treatment, is widely used in many fields including medical and health care and psychological regulation. However, affected by factors such as medical resources, the awareness and acceptance of music therapy among burn treatment workers in China are still low. Based on the clinical characteristics of burns, this paper matches the applicability of music therapy with it, summarizes the supplementary application of music therapy in the field of burn treatment, expounds this natural science with both science and aesthetics, and puts forward feasible suggestions for its future development.异于其他外伤，烧伤创面愈合后所形成的瘢痕及色素沉着不仅有碍美观，而且极易引发抑郁、焦虑等一系列序贯性心理问题。音乐疗法，现今作为一种补充治疗方式被广泛应用于医疗卫生、心理调节等多个领域。然而受医疗资源等因素影响，目前我国烧伤救治工作者对音乐疗法的认知及接纳程度仍旧较低。本文基于烧伤的临床特点将音乐疗法的适用性与之匹配，总结音乐疗法在烧伤救治领域的补充应用，对这门兼具科学与美学的自然科学进行阐述，并对其未来发展提出可行性建议。.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical effect of root canal obturation therapy using cold flowable gutta-percha on young permanent teeth after apexification. METHODS: Ninety cases of young permanent teeth with pulp necrosis or periapical periodontitis treated by apexification were randomly divided into two groups. The cases in each group were divided into single root canal and multiple root canal according to the number of the root canal, and divided into classifications Ⅰ, and Ⅱ/Ⅲ/Ⅳ according to Frank's classification of root development after apexification. Cold flowable gutta-percha and warm gutta-percha obturation techniques were used for root canal obturation of the two groups. The operation time was recorded, and the patients' therapy pain degree was evaluated by visual analog scale (VAS) immediately after operation. Periapical X-ray was performed after operation to evaluate the effect of the root canal filling. The total length of the root was divided into equal three parts on the X-ray film, and three-dimensional tightness of the apical, middle, and coronal region of the root canals were statistically analyzed respectively. Clinical examinations and X-ray examination were performed 6 and 12 months after the operation to evaluate the treatment success rate. RESULTS: The operation time of cold flowable gutta-percha group was significantly lower than that of the control group, which were 51 s and 74 s (P < 0.05); The percentages of pain and discomfort in the two groups were 26.67% and 40.00%, respectively. There were two cases of underfilling and no overfilling in both groups. The percentages of proper filling and tight three-dimensional obturation in the experimental and control groups were 71.11% and 60.00% respectively; and the percentages of tight three-dimensional obturation in the apical third areas were 86.67% and 66.67%, the difference was significant (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the three-dimensional tightness between the two groups in the middle and coronal third areas. The percentages of tight three-dimensional obturation in classification Ⅰ groups were 86.67%, 83.33%, 93.33% and 76.67%, 90.00%, 96.67% in experimental and control group, respectively; The percentages of classification Ⅱ/Ⅲ/Ⅳ groups were 86.67%, 86.67%, 100.00% and 46.67%, 86.67%, 100.00%, respectively, and the difference was significant (P < 0.05). There were no apical lesions that occurred in either group during the one-year review period. CONCLUSION: The application of cold flowable gutta-percha on young permanent teeth root canal obturation after apexification can achieve good obturation effect. The root obturation effect in the apical third area is significantly better than that of warm gutta-percha obturation techniques. Cold flowable gutta-percha can shorten the clinical treatment time and ameliorate the patients' therapy comfort.

A 105 GHz/500 kW/1 s electron cyclotron resonance heating (ECRH) system has been developed on J-TEXT tokamak since 2017. The core component of the ECRH system is a gyrotron manufactured by Gyrotron Complexes Ltd. (GYCOM Ltd.), which generates microwaves of a certain frequency and power. To guarantee safe and stable operation, it is necessary to design a specialized control system. The control system is expected to perform time sequence trigger, protection, signal monitoring, communication, and data acquisition. The hardware is built with real-time processors and data acquisition modules from National Instruments. The control program is realized by LabVIEW. Test results indicate that the control system can commit stable and safe operation of the gyrotron, which guarantees the integrated commissioning tests of the whole ECRH system and ECRH related physics experiments. Under the operation of this control system, the gyrotron can generate microwaves as expected, and the ECRH system is well protected when a fault takes place.

Kounis综合征发病率较低，该文报道了一例患者被蜂蜇伤后出现全身瘙痒、心原性休克、ST段抬高，但并无胸闷、胸痛症状，冠状动脉造影可见右冠状动脉狭窄、痉挛，予以硝酸甘油冠状动脉注射后痉挛解除，ST段很快回落基线，症状消失，预后良好，分析为Ⅱ型Kounis综合征。.

患者女，45岁，因“误吞鸡爪骨后吞咽疼痛3 d”于2020年4月18日到福建医科大学附属泉州第一医院耳鼻咽喉头颈外科就诊。入院后行食管镜和普通胃镜检查，结果均未发现异物，复查CT显示食管内异物，入院诊断为食管上端异物。4月20日患者在全身麻醉下经超声胃镜引导下顺利取出异物。术后食管造影显示，造影剂通过顺畅，可见钛夹，患者顺利出院。术后病理回报：送检炎性纤维素性渗出物及坏死组织，另见少量纤维结缔组织及食管腺。.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical success of the treatment of maxillary anterior primary incisors caries with composite resin strip crowns. METHODS: Children who presented with severe early childhood caries and were treated comprehensive caries under general anesthesia from January to December 2016 were enrolled in this study. Composite crowns using preformed celluloid crown (3M ESPE, USA) called as "strip crown technique" were applied to treat vital primary incisors with two or multiple surface cavities. Selective etchings of enamel, Universal Bond adhesive and 3M Z350 resin were used to make strip crowns. The patients returned at the end of 6, 12 and 18 months and received clinical and radiologic examinations. Dentists who did not attend the treatment evaluated the strip crowns clinically by modified United States Public Health Service (USPHS) criteria. RESULTS: Four hundred eighteen restorations, placed in 127 children aged 1.17-5.75 years (average of 3.22), were evaluated. The overall retention rate was 97.8% at the end of 6 months, 93.6% at 12 months and 89.2% at 18 months. After 18 months, 28 restorations (6.7%) were totally lost and 4.1% were rated as having lost some resin material. Only four teeth (1.0%) had secondary caries at the end of 18 months and 1.4% teeth had pulpal pathology requiring root canal treatment. Composite crowns had good performance in contour and adjacent contact and improved aesthetics significantly. Twenty-nine teeth (6.9%) showed mild gingivitis and 93.1% showed healthy gingival. 11.2% of the teeth demonstrated color change because plaque accumulation and the polish could remove the stains. The complete loss of strip crowns was mainly related to eating bites. CONCLUSION: Strip crowns performed well for restoring primary incisors with large or multisurface caries for periods of over 18 months. The strip crowns can be a durable and aesthetic restoration for vital carious primary incisors with adequate tooth structure after caries removal. Functional movement is an important cause of complete loss. Because of the high technical sensitivity and its requirement of the cooperation of children, strip crowns are more suitable for older and cooperative children as well as children receiving dental treatment under sedation or general anesthesia.

While Long Noncoding RNAs (LncRNAs) are well-known to modulate human cancer progression, the specific function of DBH-AS1 in melanoma remains to be fully established. The study will investigate the role of DBH-AS1 in melanoma cell.The expression profiles of DBH-AS1, miR-223-3p, and IGF-1R in melanoma tissues and cell lines were determined by RT-qPCR analysis. CCK-8 assay, colony assays and transwell assay were employed to analyze the effects of DBH-AS1 on the proliferation, migration, and invasion in GC cells. Bioinformatics analysis and Dual-Luciferase reporter assay determined the direct binding relation between DBH-AS1, miR-223-3p and IGF-1R in GC.Herein, we observed significant reductions in DBH-AS1 expression in melanoma tumor tissues and cell lines. Knockdown DBH-AS1 in melanoma cells impaired their proliferative, migratory, and invasive potential. We determined that DBH-AS1 was able to modulate insulin growth factor receptor (IGF-1R) expression as a competing endogenous RNA for DBH-AS1. In line with this finding, the knockdown DBH-AS1 was associated with decreases in the expression of glucose transporter (GLUT)-1 and a consequent inhibition of glucose uptake, lactate production, and ATP generation by melanoma cells.These findings therefore suggest that DBH-AS1 can enhance glycolytic activity in melanoma cells, thereby disrupting melanoma progression via miR-223-3p/EGFR/AKT axis. As such this signaling axis may be a viable therapeutic target for melanoma treatment in human patients.

Early life adversity is a risk factor for many diseases, but the related mechanism is not clear. Some research clues suggest that early life adversity is related to biological aging, and at present, the more recognized biological aging index is telomere length. Therefore, exploring the relationship between early life adversity and telomere length is of great significance to reveal the related mechanism of adversity. To investigate the biologic viability and boundary range of hepatic alveolar echinococcosis (HAE) by the contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) and acoustic radiation force impulse elastography (ARFI).Totally 27 HAE patients confirmed by pathology underwent CEUS and ARFI examinations.Gray scale sonography of HAE showed unclear boundary, inhomogeneous, and middle hyperechoic nodules, and the maximum area was (6.08 ± 4.47) cmCEUS and ARFI examinations can detect the biologic viability and boundary range of migrating zone around HAE, which is valuable for guiding treatment, judging curative effect, and predicting prognosis.

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy and molecular mechanisms of ZSP1603 as a novel anti-fibrotic compound.The unilateral left pulmonary fibrosis model was established in the Sprague Dawley (SD) rats. The bilateral pulmonary fibrosis model was established in the C57BL/6J mice. The therapeutic treatment regimen began after the induction of pulmonary fibrosis. The preventive treatment regimen began on the first day of bleomycin administration. Animals were randomly divided into the sham, model, Nintedanib, and ZSP1603 treatment groups. Haematoxylin and eosin (HE) and Masson's trichrome staining were performed to evaluate pulmonary injury, inflammation, and fibrosis. Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay and Western blot were used to investigate the effects and mechanisms of ZSP1603 on the proliferation of primary human pulmonary fibroblasts (pHPFs). The messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA) expression of transforming growth factor (TGF)-β1, tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase 1 (TIMP-1), and collagen 1A1 (COL1A1) in pHPFs was detected by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).ZSP1603 inhibited the proliferation of pHPFs in vitro by blocking the platelet-derived growth factor receptor-β (PDGF-Rβ) and extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signalling pathway. ZSP1603 also inhibited the differentiation of pHPFs by reducing the expression of TGF-β1, TIMP-1, and COL1A1. ZSP1603 significantly attenuated pulmonary injury, inflammation, and fibrosis in vivo in four independent animal studies of pulmonary fibrosis.ZSP1603 is an effective anti-fibrotic compound with clear mechanisms.

Arsenic trioxide (As2O3) an evident effect in the treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia and other malignant tumors in recent years. However, more and more studies have found that the cardiac toxicity of As2O3 was increased, limiting its wide clinical application. This study aims to explore the molecule mechanisms of As2O3 on cardiomyocyte injury.The cardiomyocyte injury under As2O3 was detected by MTT assay. The levels of NEAT1 and miR-124 were examined by RT-PCR. The functions of NEAT1 and miR-124 at H9c2 cell injury under As2O3 were detected by cell transfection of the overexpression or repression. The expression levels of inflammation factors, apoptosis genes and NF-κB signals were measured by Western blot in H9c2 cell lines under As2O3. The luciferase assay detected the direct interaction between NEAT1 and miR-124.The overexpression of NEAT1 decreased the H9c2 cells injury under As2O3. The levels of IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α were upregulated after NEAT1 overexpression. Moreover, the luciferase assay results showed NEAT1 was directly interacting with miR-124. Silencing of miR-124 significantly increased the H9c2 cell survival under As2O3 by repressing NF-κB signaling pathway. Furthermore, the overexpression of NEAT1 markedly increased H9c2 cells survival under As2O3, while the miR-124 could reverse the effects. Finally, NEAT1 regulated the H9c2 cells As2O3 injury by repressing the miR-124, NF-kappa B expressions and inflammatory response.According to the results, we found that long non-coding RNA NEAT1 regulated the expression of inflammatory factors to protect cardiomyocytes from As2O3 damage by inhibiting miR-124/NF-kappa B signaling pathway. It provides a novel potential treatment strategy for As2O3 cardiomyocytes injury.

Anisotropic MnAlCuC and MnAlCuC/Fe polycrystalline flakes have been produced by surfactant-assisted ball milling. The [001] textured MnAlCuC flakes were formed via continuous basal cleavage along the (110) planes of the microparticles during the surfactant-assisted high-energy ball milling. The c-axes of most the grains are parallel to the flake surface. The remanent magnetization (Mr) of annealed MnAlCuC/Fe has an enhancement of around 62.4% compared with uncoated powders. A high coercivity up to 207.4 kA/m of as-milled MnAlCuC flakes was obtained due to the domain wall pinning effect of the defects and the associated strained areas.

This study assessed the prognostic value of BMAL1 and Ki-67 expression in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Level of BMAL1 mRNA was assessed in tissue specimens from 36 nasopharyngeal carcinomas and 20 nasopharyngeal chronic inflammations using quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. Expression of BMAL1 and Ki-67 proteins was analyzed immunohistochemically in 90 paired nasopharyngeal carcinoma and distant normal tissues. The Kaplan-Meier curves and the Log-rank test were used to calculate prognostic significance stratified by BMAL1 and Ki67 protein expression and the COX regression model was to analyze the multivariate prognosis. BMAL1 mRNA was significantly reduced in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (4.67 ± 0.27 versus 6.64 ± 0.51 in chronic inflammation tissues, p = 0.002). Level of BMAL1 mRNA was associated with tumor distant metastasis (3.37 ± 0.66 versus 5.04 ± 0.27 compared with non-metastasis, p = 0.011). Level of BMAL1 protein was also reduced in tumor tissues and BMAL1 expression was associated with better 1-, 3- and 5-year overall survival (OS) of cancer patients (92.6%, 69.2% and 62.3% versus 59.1%, 40.9% and 0% in patients with low BMAL1 expressed tumors; p = 0.000). BMAL1 expression and age were independent prognostic factors for OS (p = 0.032). Furthermore, Ki-67 expression was high in tumor versus normal tissues and associated with poor OS of cancer patients (p = 0.035). The Pearson correlation analysis showed that there was an inverse association between BMAL1 and Ki-67 protein expression (p = 0.021). This study demonstrated that lost BMAL1 and Ki-67 overexpression were associated with poor OS of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients.

Recent observations on strength and deformation of small metals containing microstructures, including dislocation patterns, grain boundaries, and second-phase precipitates are reviewed. These microstructures impose an internal length scale that may interplay with the extrinsic length scale due to the specimen size to affect strength and deformation in an intricate manner. For micro-crystals containing pre-existing dislocations, Taylor work-hardening may dictate the dependence of strength on specimen size. The presence of grain boundaries in a small specimen may lead to effects far from the conventional Hall–Petch behavior. Precipitate–dislocation interactions in a small specimen may lead to an interesting weakest-size behavior.
