Abstract To facilitate the regulation of the air‐gap magnetic field of permanent magnet synchronous machines, a novel topology of a high‐speed hybrid excitation synchronous machine (HESM) was presented. The electromagnetic performance of the proposed HESM was evaluated. The air‐gap magnetic field regulation principle was introduced first. Then, a mathematical model of the HESM was established. Based on the characteristics of a 3D magnetic circuit, the HESM equalled three types of 2D magnetic circuit machines in axial parallel superposition, and thus the expressions of inductance parameters were deduced. Subsequently, the voltage regulation performance of the HESM was assessed according to the mathematical model and inductance parameters. The loss and efficiency were calculated. Finally, a HESM prototype was tested and verified.

Abstract Non-natural amino acids are increasingly used as building blocks in the development of peptide-based drugs as they expand the available chemical space to tailor function, half-life and other key properties. However, while the chemical space of modified amino acids (mAAs) such as residues containing post-translational modifications (PTMs) is potentially vast, experimental methods for measuring the developability properties of mAA-containing peptides are expensive and time consuming. To facilitate developability programs through computational methods, we present CamSol-PTM, a method that enables the fast and reliable sequence-based prediction of the intrinsic solubility of mAA-containing peptides in aqueous solution at room temperature. From a computational screening of 50,000 mAA-containing variants of three peptides, we selected five different small-size mAAs for a total number of 37 peptide variants for experimental validation. We demonstrate the accuracy of the predictions by comparing the calculated and experimental solubility values. Our results indicate that the computational screening of mAA-containing peptides can extend by over four orders of magnitude the ability to explore the solubility chemical space of peptides and confirm that our method can accurately assess the solubility of peptides containing mAAs. The crucial aspect of extractive document summarization lies in understanding the interrelations between sentences. Documents inherently comprise a multitude of sentences, and sentence-level models frequently fail to consider the relationships between distantly-placed sentences, resulting in the omission of significant information in the summary. Moreover, information within documents tends to be distributed sparsely, challenging the efficacy of sentence-level models. In the realm of heterogeneous graph neural networks, it has been observed that semantic nodes with varying levels of granularity encapsulate distinct semantic connections. Initially, the incorporation of edge features into the computation of dynamic graph attention networks is performed to account for node relationships. Subsequently, given the multiplicity of topics in a document or a set of documents, a topic model is employed to extract topic-specific features and the probability distribution linking these topics with sentence nodes. Last but not least, the model defines nodes with different levels of granularity—ranging from documents and topics to sentences—and these various nodes necessitate different propagation widths and depths for capturing intricate relationships in the information being disseminated. Adaptive measures are taken to learn the importance and correlation between nodes of different granularities in terms of both width and depth. Experimental evidence from two benchmark datasets highlights the superior performance of the proposed model, as assessed by ROUGE metrics, in comparison to existing approaches, even in the absence of pre-trained language models. Additionally, an ablation study confirms the positive impact of each individual module on the model's ROUGE scores.

Objective This study aimed to systematically evaluate the level of medical equipment alarm fatigue and its influencing factors among clinical nurses. Methods PubMed, Embase, CNKI, and Wanfang databases were systematically searched to identify articles on alarm fatigue of clinical nurses published before September 25, 2022. According to the evaluation criteria of prevalence studies recommended by JBI Evidence-Based Health Care Center, the quality of the literature meeting the inclusion criteria was evaluated, and Stata MP17 software was used for meta-analysis. Results A total of 14 cross-sectional studies were included, with a total sample of 2,848 nurses. The results showed that the alarm fatigue score of clinical nurses was 21.76 (95% CI [20.27, 23.25]). Subgroup analysis showed that the nurses who worked night shift and had lower professional title had higher alarm fatigue. Conclusion The alarm fatigue of clinical nurses was at a moderate level. To reduce the alarm fatigue level of clinical nurses, nursing managers should strengthen the alarm safety awareness of nurses, rationally arrange nurse manpower, carry out training to actively improve the alarm management ability of nurses, and optimize the alarm level and frequency of alarm equipment.

Lipid is an important component except starch and protein in rice, which not only has unique nutritional value but also has a great impact on the functional properties of starch. In this paper, the species, structure, distribution, and content of lipids in rice were summarized, and the mechanism, structure characteristics and influencing factors of starch-lipid interaction were discussed. The interaction effects on the properties of starch, including swelling, gelatinization, rheology, retrogradation and digestive ability were reviewed. This paper provided useful information on understanding the interaction between starch and endogenous lipids in rice as well as its influence on the starch properties, which could promote the improvement of rice quality and the development of functional rice.

Millimeter wave is an important core technology of 5G communication,which has a broad development prospect.With the improvement of communication frequency,the influence of weather on signal transmission is increasing,especially in rainfall environment.In order to establish an accurate and effective communication channel model,a three-dimensional millimeter wave MIMO spatial channel model based on 25 GHz,30 GHz and 78 GHz is proposed for the base station mobile communication scena-rio in rainfall environment.In this paper,the geometric and physical characteristics of raindrops are introduced,and then the rain failure engineering model is briefly described.On this basis,the expression of dynamic rain attenuation is proposed.The model considers the non-stationary channel in time and space domain by the line-of-sight distance and non-line-of-sight path of base station and signal receiver,as well as the non-stationary of receiver motion and dynamic scattering cluster.Finally,the channel is theoretically analyzed by birth death process,and the effects of frequency,rainfall,pitch angle and other parameters on the cross-correlation function and channel capacity are deduced.The influence of pitch angle and other parameters on the correlation function and channel capacity is found to be highly fitting with the actual measurement results by comparing with the measured data in the previous literatures.The research has important theoretical and practical significance for the application of wireless communication system in rainfall environment,which extends the research and application of mobile wireless communication channel model.

Chronic non-specific low back pain (CNLBP) is one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Acupoint embedding (ACE) is widely used in China for the treatment of chronic non-specific low back pain, but there are no rigorous randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to confirm the effectiveness and safety of ACE for chronic non-specific low back pain. In this study, we design a single-center, single-blind, prospective RCT, with the aim of evaluating the efficacy and safety of ACE for CNLBP. 82 participants with CNLBP will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio into an ACE group and a sham ACE group. Participants will receive either ACE treatment or sham ACE treatment at once every 2 weeks, for an 8-week period, and followed by 6 months of follow-up. The primary outcome will be the change in visual analog scale (VAS) scores before and after treatment. Secondary outcomes will include the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), the Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ) and the Short Form 36-Health Survey (SF-36). Adverse events that occur during the course of the trial will be recorded. Data will be analyzed according to a predefined statistical analysis plan. This study was approved by the medical ethics committee of Guangzhou Panyu Hospital of Chinese Medicine (202230). Written informed consent from patients is required. This trial is registered in the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR2200059245). It is very important to identify manganese ore and manganese smelting slag for manganese ore import trade and environmental protection. Due to the similarity of elements in manganese smelting slag and some manganese ore, such as Mn, Si, Al, Mg, Ca and other impure elements, they cannot be identified only by the content of the elements. China's main imported manganese ore and the main manganese smelting slag samples were chosen as the research subject, which was studied by X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometry(XRF), X-ray Diffraction(XRD) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FTIR). The silicon content of the manganese slag is relatively high, whereas the calcium content of the water quenching slag and air cooling slag are relatively high. The phase characteristics of manganese ore include pyrolusite, manganese oxide, bixbyite, rhodochrosite, among others. The phase characteristics of manganese smelting slag include iron silicate and tephroite because of being smelted. The characteristics of infrared absorption show that manganese ore has two strong absorption bands in the range of 600-400 cm-1, and dependently or at the same time has infrared characteristic peaks at 1420 cm-1. Manganese smelting slag has widely strong infrared characteristic peaks at around 960 cm-1. The phase spectrogram database of imported manganese ore and manganese smelting slag in China has now been established. Primary differences between the manganese ore and smelting slag were determined ultimately, and were proved by FTIR.

Heavy metal elementals can be enriched in soil at mineral products yard, which become a problem of environmental pollution caused by elemental migration, transformation and circulation in underground water. In this experimentation the modified BCR sequential extraction method was applied to the chemical species analysis of Cd, As and Pb. Based on the properties of these three elementals, the chemical species of Cd, As and Pb were divided into four fractions: exchangeable, reducible, oxidizable and residual, and Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometry (ICP-AES) were used to measure the content of Cd, As and Pb. Morphological analysis standard reference material GBW 07436 was conducted to verify the accuracy of the three step extraction state. Contents of chemical species of Cd, As and Pb in soil from six mineral products yard were analyzed, including contents of three step extraction state plus the residual and the total contents of the desired metals elements. The recoveries were from 84.54% to 102.88%. The analysis results for actual samples demonstrated the contents of Cd, As and Pb in non-residual fraction were in order as Cd (79.40%-94.94%)>Pb(24.27%-37.73%)>As (22.89%-31.51%), which indicated Cd is easy to enter the biosphere. This method has resolved the problem to extract the chemical species of heavy metal elements in soil from port mineral products yard, and has profound significance to the treatment of contaminated soil.

BACKGROUND: While there is growing research considering the experiences of transgender youth whose identities align with the gender binary, especially among young trans women, there are significantly fewer studies that accurately capture data about nonbinary youth, and even fewer studies capturing the experiences of transgender and gender diverse (TGD) youth of color. The purpose of this research was to assess the prevalence of sexual health behaviors, mental health challenges, substance use, and healthcare utilization among Black/African American, Latinx, Asian/Pacific Islander, indigenous and multi-racial/ethnic TGD youth, who have been largely underrepresented in research. METHODS: A total of 108 TGD youth ages 16-24 were recruited into the Trans Youth of Color Study (TRUTH). Each participant completed a 90-min survey administered by a research assistant with more sensitive information collected using ACASI. In addition to a completing a survey administered by research staff, participants also participated in specimen collection, which included urine sampling to assess recent substance use without a prescription, self-collected rectal/frontal and throat swabs to test for gonorrhea and chlamydia, and a blood draw to test for recent use of drugs, gonorrhea and chlamydia, and syphilis. The sample was recruited at public venues, community outreach and referral, through social media outreach, and via participant referral. Cross-sectional analyses were from a single study visit. RESULTS: Compared to rates among their cisgender peers, participants reported experiencing adverse social and structural determinants of health-e.g. food insecurity (61%), housing instability (30%), and limited access to healthcare (26% had no place to go for healthcare)-and elevated rates of illicit drug use (19-85%), mental health problems (e.g. 60% self-reported depression), and involvement in sexual risk-related behaviors (e.g. among those reporting penetrative sex 57-67% reported sex without a condom). CONCLUSIONS: This study adds descriptions of both mental and sexual health outcomes of a non-clinical sample of TGD youth to the literature, particularly among young transgender men and gender nonbinary youth, who have frequently been excluded from previous studies of sexual health. The findings document experiences and behaviors among TGD youth that contribute to mental and sexual health concerns, including rates of substance use, and healthcare utilization.
