This paper establishes a theoretical framework for understanding the connotations of industrial basic capacity. It employs models from economic growth theory to derive indices for assessing industrial basic capacity and exploring the economic correlations among its influencing factors. Additionally, it measures the industrial basic capacity indices of 17 subsectors across 9 major industrial countries from 2000 to 2020 using OECD data. The findings reveal that from 2000 to 2020, the Chinese manufacturing industry has surpassed the United States, becoming the global leader. Specifically, within the 17 subsectors, 9 are globally ranked first, with 7 nearing advanced levels, and only 1 facing relative backwardness. Chinese manufacturing industry's enhanced basic capacity is attributed to advantages in cost competitiveness and scale. However, significant disparities persist in technological input and industrial linkages with advanced nations. The decline in basic capacity among developed countries stems primarily from diminished value chain profitability due to inadequate investment. Sustainable improvement in industry basic capacity necessitates concurrent advancements in value chain profitability, fixed asset investment, technological levels, industrial linkages, and market scale. Overreliance on cost advantages or advanced technology poses substitution risks. Moreover, this paper underscores the limitations of exclusively relying on current data to assess global industrial basic capacity, advocating for a greater historical perspective. To strengthen the Chinese manufacturing industrial basic capacity within the global value chain, the Chinese manufacturing industry must enhance technological inputs, reduce the operational costs of enterprises, and elevate the degree of openness. The loads applied on the driving hydraulic cylinders, attack angle joint bearings and sideslip angle joint bearings in the tail support device of the FL-17 wind tunnel were deduced using a coordinate transformation approach. The load vectors applied on these components were obtained in closed form. A load assessment program with graphical user interface was developed using MATLAB. The safety coefficients of the driving hydraulic cylinders and the bearings can be readily calculated by importing the structural parameters and inputting the load parameters. The shortages of high computational cost and low assessment efficiency of the multi body dynamics simulation is overcame. Taking the example of a wind tunnel test, the developed method and program is applied to verify the strength of the tail support device and the results indicate that the tail support device is sufficient to perform the wind tunnel test. The present work provides a method with high accuracy and efficiency for the preparation and argument for wind tunnel tests and has significant practical value.

Introduction: Although breast-conserving therapy (BCT) promises at least a similar survival rate for patients with early breast cancer compared with mastectomy, its efficacy in patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive tumors remains unclear. Therefore, we conducted this study to explore differential effects of BCT and mastectomy on survival outcomes of patients with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer. Methods: Data were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database, and basic characteristics of patients who received either BCT or mastectomy were balanced using propensity score matching (PSM). Kaplan-Meier analysis, log-rank testing, and Cox proportional hazards regression were performed. Results: In total, 20,277 patients were diagnosed with T1-2N0-1M0 HER2-positive breast cancer between 2010 and 2015. After PSM, 6,185 pairs of patients were enrolled for further analysis. Compared with those undergoing mastectomy, patients receiving BCT had superior overall survival (OS) (hazard ratio [HR], 0.63; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.55–0.73; p < 0.001) and breast cancer-specific survival (BCSS) (HR: 0.59; 95% CI: 0.48–0.71; p < 0.001). The subgroup analyses revealed that survival outcomes (OS and BCSS) of BCT were better than those of mastectomy among estrogen receptor (ER)+/progesterone receptor (PR)+/HER2+, ER+/PR−/HER2+, and ER−/PR−/HER2+ subtypes (p < 0.05 for all); however, patients with ER−/PR+/HER2+ subtypes who underwent BCT had similar OS and BCSS (p > 0.05 for both) to those treated with mastectomy. Discussion/Conclusion: Despite the aggressiveness of the disease, we found that BCT may confer better long-term survival than mastectomy for patients with T1-2N0-1M0 HER2-positive breast cancer, particularly for those with ER+/PR+/HER2+, ER+/PR−/HER2+, and ER−/PR−/HER2+ subtypes. In addition, our study provided insights into the clinical applications of BCT. A novel Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al/Polyurethane(PU) high damping composite is successfully prepared via the adhesive welding method, which realizes a uniform controlled distribution of PU layers and their tight combinations with Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al layers. IF equipment is employed to measure the damping capacity of Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al/PU composites, and the results indicate the peak position of Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al/PU composite all shifts obviously toward higher temperature with the increasing measurement frequency, which indicates its typical relaxation features. The relationships among the IF peak height with the PU thickness or layer numbers have been studied, and the results indicate the relaxation strength of the IF peak reaches a maximum value when the PU thickness is 2. 0 mm or the PU layers number is 2. The high damping of Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al/PU composite is ascribed to the high damping of PU. In addition, the bending strength of Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al/PU composite increases with the increasing of PU thickness and layer numbers, and its good bending strength is ascribed to perfect mechanical property of Fe-17Mn-5Cr-1.5Al alloy. Ochratoxin A (OTA) is widely found in food and feed products as a mycotoxin contaminant. It is produced byPenicilliumspecies and severalAspergillusspecies. The identification OTA detoxification microorganisms is believed to be the best approach for decontamination. In this study, we isolated ASAG1, a bacterium with the ability to degrade OTA effectively, from grain depot-stored maize. A 16S rDNA sequencing approach was used to identify this strain asBacillus amyloliquefaciensASAG1. The degradation of OTA was detected in both medium and cell-free extracts after incubation with a culture ofB. amyloliquefaciensASAG1 cells. Subsequently, a hydrolysed enzyme (carboxypeptidase) related to the enzymatic conversion of OTA was cloned from theB. amyloliquefaciensASAG1 genome. Using theEscherichia coliExpression System, we successfully expressed and purified this carboxypeptidase. When this enzyme was incubated with the engineered recombinantE. colicells, the concentration of OTA was dramatically degraded. Our data therefore indicate that the carboxypeptidase produced byB. amyloliquefaciensASAG1 is likely responsible for the biodegradation of OTA. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]

P3HT-g-C3N4 photocatalysts with high activity have been fabricated by assembling p-type P3HT particles on n-type g-C3N4 nanoplates via a ball milling method. The photocatalytic activity of the P3HT-g-C3N4 photocatalysts for the degradation of MB was 2 times higher than that of pure g-C3N4. The formation of a heterojunction interface of P3HT-g-C3N4 photocatalysts enhanced the separation efficiency of photogenerated electron–hole pairs and resulted in the enhancement of photocatalytic performance. Tailored nanostructures offer a new way to facilitate electron-hole separation and offer additional opportunities to generate unique photocatalysts that demonstrate novel light absorption, thermodynamic and kinetic properties. A simple and efficient approach to the synthesis of a large variety of g-C3N4 tailored nanostructures is reported. Herein, NH3 and H2O2 were used as controllable chemical scissors to tailor bulk g-C3N4 to a large variety of g-C3N4 nanostructures, which include exfoliated porous, quantum dot, nanomites and nanospindles. The tailored g-C3N4 shows a photoreactivity of H2 evolution 3.0 (pure water) and 4.1 (saturated KCl solution) times higher than bulk g-C3N4 under λ > 420 nm. We believe this strategy affords new opportunities for structural tuning of X-doped (X = N, S, P, and O) carbon materials, as well as their exploration in catalysis, organic synthesis, nanomedicine and energy storage. Lithium metal batteries (LMBs) are distinguished by their elevated energy densities which represent themselves as the formidable contenders for the forthcoming generation of energy storage technologies. Nonetheless, their cycling efficiency is hindered owing to unregulated growth of lithium dendrites and unstable solid electrolyte interphase (SEI). This raises serious safety concerns while rendering LMBs unfeasible for real-world implementation. Covalent Triazine Frameworks (CTFs) have emerged as a promising class of 2D nanomaterials due to their unique properties such as high surface area, chemical stability, tailorable properties, porosity and high N-containing groups. These groups serve as an efficient acceptor for Li. Consequently, the problem of lithium dendrite formation is significantly reduced. This review offers an extensive examination of CTF based anode materials utilized to address the challenges associated with lithium dendrites in LMBs. It is outline future prospects and provide recommendations for the design and engineering of lithium metal anodes (LMAs) and architectures that can make LMBs viable for practical use.
