Previous studies have shown that inhibition of TNF family member FN14 (gene: TNFRSF12A) in colon tumors decreases inflammatory cytokine expression and mitigates cancer-induced cachexia. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the regulation of FN14 expression remain unclear. Tumor microenvironments are often devoid of nutrients and oxygen, yet how the cachexic response relates to the tumor microenvironment and, importantly, nutrient stress is unknown. Here, we looked at the connections between metabolic stress and FN14 expression. We found that TNFRSF12A expression was transcriptionally induced during glutamine deprivation in cancer cell lines. We also show that the downstream glutaminolysis metabolite, alpha-ketoglutarate (aKG), is sufficient to rescue glutamine-deprivation-promoted TNFRSF12A induction. As aKG is a co-factor for histone de-methylase, we looked at histone methylation and found that histone H3K4me3 at the Tnfrsf12a promoter is increased under glutamine-deprived conditions and rescued via DM-aKG supplementation. Finally, expression of Tnfrsf12a and cachexia-induced weight loss can be inhibited in vivo by DM-aKG in a mouse cancer cachexia model. These findings highlight a connection between metabolic stress and cancer cachexia development.

Due to the fact that both the subject and the topic can occupy the initial position of the sentence, English subject is always deemed as the UNMARKED TOPIC (Lambrecht, 1994), while the topic is not always the subject. In accordance with Rizzi's (1997) topicalization, both the subject and the topicalized constituents can be topics. Many other languages are found to have multiple topics (Erteschik-Shir, 2007). This study agrees that more than one topic is possible in English. With respect to the order, it finds that the "principle of end-weight," applies only to the DP subject topics, but not other preposed constituents. The preverbal constituents in the data abide by the topic-comment structure in general. Via the authentic data, we find that the subject topic is prominently DPs. Non-subject topics are PPs, CPs, adverbs, AdvPs, and DPs, among which PPs are prominent in expository texts while CPs are prevailing in narrative proses. The frequent appearance of the PPs is found to be the genre-effect that PPs are compact structures often used as the sentence opener to make the discourse coherent in expository texts. Meanwhile, the conspicuous occurrence of the CPs, inter alia, the control constructions, is due to the characteristics of the chronological linkage in narrative proses.

In the era of the digital economy, there is a widespread trend for property enterprise economic management to undergo digital transformation. The article examines how the digital economy propels the economic management of property enterprises, scrutinizing its risk components and the digital ecological model of management services. The evaluation index system for the digital economy and the economic management level of property enterprises has been designed, and its comprehensive score is solved using the entropy weight method. Based on the comprehensive score, a spatial Durbin model was established, and spatial autocorrelation tests and econometric regression analyses were performed. Additionally, the risk prediction model for the economic management of property enterprises was established using BP neural networks and risk evaluation indexes. The global Moran’s mean values for the economic management of property enterprises in the digital economy were 0.267 and 0.081, respectively, and both passed the 1% significance test. The development level of the digital economy significantly promotes the economic management of property enterprises at the 1% level, as indicated by the influence coefficients obtained from the neighbor weight matrix, geographic weight matrix, and economic distance weight matrix, which are 2.236, 2.132, and 2.078, respectively. The BP neural network predicts economic management risk for property enterprises with an accuracy of 91.95%. Relying on digital economy-related technology can effectively promote the improvement of the economic management level of property enterprises and can also effectively enable risk prediction in economic management.

Recent advances in Internet technology have revolutionized the property management industry by integrating intelligent systems. This paper examines the Impact of face recognition technology, notably the A-2D2PCA algorithm, on enhancing management efficiency and security. Our study combines experimental simulations and system analysis to evaluate the technology’s application in property management, revealing a notable increase in face recognition accuracy to 72.85%. Analysis of 300 real estate projects demonstrates that implementing face recognition can significantly boost the quality of property management services, with companies offering high-quality services seeing a 53.79% increase in market share. The findings suggest that face recognition technology elevates management efficiency and security and enriches residents’ living quality, offering innovative directions for the growth of the property management sector.

Forest products trade has a critical role to play in both global economic development and environmental protection. Based on the trade data of global forest products, raw forest products, and processed forest products from 2000 to 2020, this paper constructed a trade network and analyzed its pattern by using indicators such as density, average distance, out- strength, and in-strength. The results show that from 2000 to 2020, the global trade network of forest products has been increasingly connected. Compared with the trade of raw material forest products, the trade network of processed forest products is more closely connected and its transport efficiency is higher. Countries with high GDP such as USA, China, and Germany are leading trading countries in forest products. Countries with abundant forest resources are the major exporters of raw forest products, while labor- and capital-abundant countries are major exporters of processed forest products.
