Abstract

The article describes the effect of exercise training and I-arginine on ventricular remodeling and oxidative stress after myocardial infarction (MI). Findings indicate that exercise training exerts antioxidative effects and eases myocardial fibrosis, while I-arginine has no additive effect on cardiac function or the expression of enzymatic antioxidants.
