Abstract

The article discusses buccal and sublingual sprays. It mentions that the inside of buccal cavity is lined with a mucus membrane, which possesses ideal features to ease drug delivery. Studies have shown that this mucosa is much more permeable than skin and is surrounded by a high number of blood vessels.
