Mobile Health (mHealth) use is expected to promote public health and has been viewed as a possible solution for the management of the COVID-19 outbreak since 2020. However, the use of m-heath in those countries, including Indonesia, is not as expected, probably due to low acceptance and willingness to use mHealth. This study observed the influence of trust, health belief, and technology acceptance on the intention to use mHealth in Indonesia for both users and nonusers. A total of 616 respondents, with a balanced number of users and non-users of mHealth, voluntarily participated in this study by filling out a questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed based on a conceptual model integrating trust, health belief model, and technology acceptance. A total of 34 questions were administered based on the conceptual model. A five-Likert scale was used to measure the answers. Interesting findings showed that among the non-users of mHealth, perceived usefulness influenced the intention to use mHealth more than that among those who actually used the technology. Among the users of mHealth, perceived ease of use influenced the intention to use the technology more than that among the non-users. The effect of trust was not shown to be significant. In general, intention to use mHealth in Indonesia was significantly influenced by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived health risk. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The use of social media as a platform to access news and information has the potential to lead to the spread of fake news in Indonesia. This study aims to (1) understand the trust characteristics in information of Indonesians during COVID-19; (2) identify Indonesians' ability to detect COVID-19 fake news; and (3) analyze the relationship between people's trust characteristics in information with regard to COVID-19 information and their ability to detect fake news. An online survey was conducted with 751 Indonesians who use social media to access information about COVID-19. Cultural theory is used to categorize people's trust characteristics in information, while signal detection theory is employed to identify people's ability to discriminate between fake and real news. The results showed that 61% of respondents were categorized as having hierarchy trust characteristics. Concerning the detectability of fake news, most respondents could discriminate between fake and real news. Lastly, there was a relationship between trust characteristics in information and bias tendencies in detecting fake news. The respondents have hierarchy trust characteristics, indicating they trusted government information related to COVID-19 issues. The respondents also have high ability to discriminate between fake and real news, even though they tended to miss more errors than identify false alarms when detecting fake news. The findings showed that respondents who had hierarchy and egalitarian characteristics tended to perceive real news as fake news and had a better ability to distinguish fake news compared to other trust characteristics in information. Online developments are promoting various store businesses to establish online stores or E-commerce, including the buying and selling of batik products. Batik, a globally recognized masterpiece of Indonesian cultural heritage, is still crafted by Small-Medium Industries (SMIs). Despite the considerable enthusiasm for batik, SMIs in this field face technological constraints. The application of eye-tracking methodology and usability testing has not been explored in the context of batik e-commerce. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the world of batik E-commerce websites. Usability assessments were conducted using methods comprising users, evaluators, and Webcam Eye-Tracking software. A total of two batik E-commerce websites were selected for this exploration, of which one is already established, while the other is still recent, both offering ready-to-sell products. The results of usability testing, based on performance metrics, indicated that Danar Hadi and Butimo showed similar performance in terms of time-on-task, efficiency, and errors. Moreover, both websites achieved an "Acceptable" rating in satisfaction tests. Statistical analysis showed no significant gender-based differences in the usability aspects tested. Proposed enhancements, informed by performance analysis, heatmaps, and gaze replay data, consisted of improvements to the main menu section and the payment platform icon section. Along with the development of technology, the launching of new devices often leaves the usability problems for the elderly behind. It happens not only for devices but also its application, i.e., entertainment applications, health applications, learning applications, etc. Most of the time, the elderly find it hard to use due to its usability problems or unfamiliar feelings. This research focused on empirically investigating a health application interface so that elderly could use it easily without obstacles and help the treatment independently. Three interface modalities were tested, namely, textual, pictorial, and typing interfaces. The result showed that the option-based interfaces (i.e., textual and pictorial) led to shorter performance time than input-based interface (i.e., typing) among the three interfaces. Also, the pictorial interface has the highest SUS score. All respondents chose the pictorial interface as their first choice, enabling health application accessibility through the appropriate interface modality for the elderly.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of clothing fit and material of Islamic sportswear for female on physiological responses and body heat balance during exercise in warm and humid environment. Twelve healthy female students (20.3±0.4 years) exercised wearing four types of women’s Islamic sportswear comprised of two level of clothing fit: loose-fit and tight-fit, and two types of material for sportswear: cotton and polyester on four separate occasions, and in random order. They performed a 30-min treadmill exercise at an intensity of 70% HRmax and then rested on a chair for 20 min for recovery in a chamber set at an ambient temperature of 34°C and relative humidity of 80%. The results showed that clothing fit did not significantly affect physiological and subjective responses, but clothing material did; sportswear made of cotton resulted in a higher increase of tympanic temperature during exercise and recovery compared to that made of polyester (P
