When a wind turbine blade exposure to some degree of rainfall, water droplets in the atmosphere impact the blade at high velocity will causes erosion damages of the leading edge. The damages have significant influence to the aerodynamic performance of the blade, and also the cost of power generation. In this paper, a high velocity impact dynamics model of water droplet impact on wind turbine blade is develops based on SPH-FEM coupling method, where SPH model is used to model the large deformation region of the fluid domain, and FEM method is used to model the small deformation region of the structure domain. Together with properties of gelcoat material on the blade surface, effects of varying impact velocities and angles on the impact response of the gelcoat material are analysed through numerical simulation. The results show that during a high velocity impact event of water droplet, the contact force history appears two peaks. Also contact forces and strains on the blade material decreases with decreasing droplet impact velocity and impact angle, the total contact duration of the droplet during the impact decreases with increasing droplet impact velocity and angle. The present study is expected to provide theoretical guidance for enhancing the erosive capacity of wind turbine blade gelcoat material.

Purpose: One third of patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) succumb to the disease partly due to rituximab resistance. Rituximab-induced calcium flux is an important inducer of apoptotic cell death, and we investigated the potential role of calcium channels in rituximab resistance. Experimental Design: The distinctive expression of calcium channel members was compared between patients sensitive and resistant to rituximab, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, prednisone (RCHOP) regimen. The observation was further validated through mechanistic in vitro and in vivo studies using cell lines and patient-derived xenograft mouse models. Results: A significant inverse correlation was observed between CACNA1C expression and RCHOP resistance in two independent DLBCL cohorts, and CACNA1C expression was an independent prognostic factor for RCHOP resistance after adjusting for International Prognostic Index, cell-of-origin classification, and MYC/BCL2 double expression. Loss of CACNA1C expression reduced rituximab-induced apoptosis and tumor shrinkage. We further demonstrated direct interaction of CACNA1C with CD20 and its role in CD20 stabilization. Functional modulators of L-type calcium channel showed expected alteration in rituximab-induced apoptosis and tumor suppression. Furthermore, we demonstrated that CACNA1C expression was directly regulated by miR-363 whose high expression is associated with worse prognosis in DLBCL. Conclusions: We identified the role of CACNA1C in rituximab resistance, and modulating its expression or activity may alter rituximab sensitivity in DLBCL.

The onset of local invasion and lymphatic metastasis in pancreatic cancer limits survival following surgical intervention and additional therapies. Reduced expression of KiSS-1 in pancreatic cancer is associated with cancer metastasis. Previous studies have indicated that kisspeptin, the KiSS-1 peptide, is able to bind to its receptor-GPR54 (hOT7T175) and suppress the migration of PANC-1 pancreatic cancer cells. Whether the metastatic suppression of KiSS-1 is dependent on the levels of GPR54 in pancreatic cancer cell lines remains unclear. Human BxPC-3 pancreatic carcinoma cells are highly differentiated without exhibiting metastasis, however PANC-1 pancreatic carcinoma cells are poorly differentiated and exhibit local and lymph node metastasis. Compared with primary cultured trophoblasts, BxPc-3 and PANC-1 cells were observed to express low levels of KiSS-1 mRNA and protein, measured using reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blotting, respectively. However, greater mRNA and protein expression levels of GPR54 were observed in PANC-1 cells compared with BxPc-3 cells. An MTT assay was used to investigate the effect of KiSS-1 on BxPc-3 and PANC-1 cell proliferation. There were no significant differences in proliferation following transfection with KiSS-1 in BxPc-3 and PANC-1 cells compared with the controls (P>0.05). A Transwell assay with chambers coated with Matrigel was used to evaluate the in vitro invasive ability of BxPc-3 and PANC-1 cells, with the invasion index of BxPc-3 and PANC-1 cells significantly reduced following 48 h of KiSS-1 overexpression (P0.05). KiSS-1 is a metastasis suppressor gene of pancreatic cancer, and this suppression is not dependent on the expression levels of GPR54. Therefore, KiSS-1 is potentially a novel target for gene therapy.

MYC2 is a core transcription factor in the plant response to jasmonates. It also functions in secondary metabolism and various processes for growth and development. However, the knowledge about its role in Salvia miltiorrhiza is still very limited. We determined that the biosynthesis of salvianolic acid B (Sal B) was strongly induced in 2-month-old transgenic plants that over-expressed SmMYC2. In the roots of transgenic line 12 that over-expressed SmMYC2 (OEM-12), the Sal B concentration was as high as 5.95 ± 0.07 mg g-1, a level that was 1.88-fold higher than that in control plants that had been transformed with an empty vector. Neither tanshinone IIA nor cryptotanshinone was detected by high-performance liquid chromatography in any of the genotypes. Global transcriptomic analysis using RNA sequencing revealed that most enzyme-encoding genes for the phenylpropanoid biosynthesis pathway were up-regulated in the overexpression lines. Furthermore, both the phenylalanine and tyrosine biosynthesis pathways were activated in those transgenics. Our data demonstrate that overexpression of SmMYC2 promotes the production of phenolic acids by simultaneously activating both primary and secondary pathways for metabolism in S. miltiorrhiza.

As the voltage class and transmission capacity of power grid is increasing, the operating environment of JiuAn substation, which is one of the power supply sources of Ultra-High Voltage (UHV) transmission line, becomes more complex. A model of JiuAn substation and its complicated power supply environment is built using the power system software PSCAD/EMTDC, the parameters under typical kinds of fault are simulated, and MATLAB software is used to acquire relay protection feature from the simulation results. Based on the work above, relay protection security of JiuAn Substation under complex power transmission environment is analyzed, which will provide guidance for the substation operation.

Excited states in $^{125}\mathrm{Cs}$ have been studied with the fusion-evaporation-reaction $^{116}\mathrm{Cd}(^{14}\mathrm{N},5n)$ at 65-MeV beam energy. The level scheme of $^{125}\mathrm{Cs}$ was extended with the addition of more than 50 new \ensuremath{\gamma} transitions and with the identification of two new rotational bands built on the $\ensuremath{\pi}{d}_{5/2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{7/2}$ configurations at low spins. The bandhead excitation energies of the previously known $\ensuremath{\pi}{g}_{9/2}$ and $\ensuremath{\pi}{h}_{11/2}$ bands were revised.

To identify and analyze the genetic relationship of four species of Gentiana (G. macrophylla, G. straminea, G. dahurica and G. crassicaulis) recorded as Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, and two other Gentiana species (G. officinalis and G. siphonantha) often used as substitutes by ISSR, in order to estimate the reasonability of G. officinalis and G. siphonantha used as substitutes from the DNA level.Eight primers ivere screened to amplify all the samples and agarose gel electrophoresis were analyzed. NTSYSpc-2. 10E software was used to calculate similarity coefficient and draw dendrogram. Results: Nine characteristic bands were found in different species on the ISSR fingerprints and which could be used to identify five species except G. dahurica. The substitute G. officinalis firstly clustered with G. dahurica and G. siphonantha showed closer genetic relationship with G. straminea and G. dahurica. G. crassicaulis showed a far genetic relationship with the other five species.The dendrogram based on the ISSR data supports that G. officinalis and G. siphonantha can be used as substitutes of Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix.

The critical chain project management theory(CCPM) combining the critical chain technology and resource-constrained project scheduling problem (RCPSP) is an important innovation of project control methods, and it’s widely used to optimize the project duration recently. In this paper the theory presented is applied to the maintenance period arrangements of power plant electrical equipment, and a mathematical model of optimizing the maintenance period is established. Then an improved heuristic algorithm is designed and used to establish equipment maintenance precedence network. On this basis, a new identification method of maintenance network based on critical chain is proposed. Finally, it’s verified with a numerical example that the method proposed can effectively shorten the maintenance period of power plant electrical equipment.

Fluctuation of security and flux, when natural circulation was halted in primary circuit of low temperature nuclear heating reactor by experiment during small break loss of coolant accident was studied. This is one of disadvantage aspect to such system. The results of this paper was Heated component won’t burn out while SBLOCA in lower cone in low temperature heating reactor. It was valuable suggestions on the development of commercial nuclear heating reactor.

Cement asphalt mortar is a key part of flexible adjusting layer in slab ballastless track structure. In this paper, new materials of epoxy asphalt cement mortar (EACM) was prepared with epoxy and chemically modified asphalt emulsionwhich showed excellent in terms of durability and weather resistance. This paper through changing the proportions of the eopxy-asphalt cement ration studies the relationship among fluidity, compressive strength, and elastic modulus of EACM and cement asphalt mortar (CAM) use chemical modification of asphalt emulsion and normal asphalt emulsion. The results showed that chemically modified epoxy asphalt emulsion cement mortar turned out to be relatively better in compressive strength, frost resistance and weather ability compared with CAM. The chemical reaction mechanism of epoxy asphalt emulsion were investigated by the means of environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM) method.

The eigenproblems of spin waves in a heterogeneous ferromagnetic bilayer system with periodic boundary conditions are solved using the interface-rescaling approach. Brillouin zone mapping and the eigenmodes of the system are investigated. We find three types of spin waves may exist in the system: the bulk mode, the interface mode, and the perfect confined mode. The fine structure of the energy band in the heterogeneous bilayer system is first given for the whole two-dimensional Brillouin zone. Conditions for the existence of the interface mode are discussed. Finally, we analyze the resonant-confined spin waves in bulk modes and their oscillating behavior.

Evidence on the association between dietary fiber intake and pancreatic cancer risk has been controversial. Therefore, we carried out this meta-analysis to summarize available evidence from epidemiologic studies on this point. Relevant studies were identified by searching PubMed, Embase and Web of Science databases as well as by reviewing the rence lists of relevant articles. Random or fixed-effects model was used to calculate the summary risk estimates and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). This meta-analysis included one cohort and thirteen case-control studies which involving a total of 3287 subjects with pancreatic cancer. After summarizing the risk estimates of these studies, we yielded a significant association between dietary fiber intake and pancreatic cancer risk among case-control studies (odds ratio = 0.54; 95%CI = 0.44–0.67; I2 = 41.4%; P = 0.043) but a non-significant result in cohort study (hazard ratio = 1.01; 95%CI = 0.59–1.74). Additionally, significant inverse associations were observed when we carried out the stratify analyses by the study characteristics and adjustment for potential confounders among case-control studies. Given only one cohort study included in the present meta-analysis, further prospective-designed studies should validate our findings and report more detail results, including those for subtypes of fiber, the risk estimates which corrected the impact of measurement errors and fully adjust for the potential confounders.

The eigenproblems of spin waves in a ferromagnetic bilayer system with periodic boundary conditions are solved by using the interface-rescaling approach. The energy bands and the dispersion relations of the system are investigated. In addition, the effect of the uniaxial bulk anisotropy field of easy-axis type on the energy bands and the dispersion relations is also discussed. Furthermore, we conjecture that there may be the resonant-confined spin waves in the system.

The lifetime of the ${2}_{1}^{+}$ state in $^{178}\mathrm{Pt}$ was measured by using fast-timing techniques with the high-purity Ge and ${\mathrm{LaBr}}_{3}:\mathrm{Ce}$ array using the $^{154}\mathrm{Gd}$(${}^{28}\mathrm{Si},4n$) reaction at a beam energy of 146 MeV. The deduced $B(E2,{2}_{1}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{0}_{1}^{+})$ strength is discussed in relation to the systematics of the previously reported $B(E2,{2}_{1}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{0}_{1}^{+})$ strengths in the light even-even ${}^{176--184}\mathrm{Pt}$ isotopes and compared with calculations of the generator coordinate method. The present results support a configuration-mixing interpretation for low-spin states in these light Pt isotopes.

Pancreatic cancer is a devastating disease with the worst mortality rate. Therefore, a rational strategy for future drug development is critical. Genistein is a small, biologically active flavonoid that is found in high amounts in soy. This important compound supports a wide variety of biological activities, but is best known for its ability to inhibit cancer progression.Transwell chamber assay was performed to determine the effect of genistein on the invasion of the human pancreatic cancer cell line Panc-1 induced by transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-b1) in the different condition (5 ng/ml 24 hours and 10 ng/ml 48 hours); Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to estimate the mRNA levels of urinary plasminogen activator (uPA), matrix metallopeptidase 2/9 (MMP-2/9), Smad4, E-Cadherin and Vimentin; Western blotting was used to detect the protein levels of uPA, E-Cadherin, ERK1/2, P38 and P-P38, and the activity of MMP-2/9 protein were detected by gelatin zymography assay method. Cells structure was observed and analyzed by microscopy.Genistein can inhibit effectively TGF-b1-induced invasion and metastasis in Panc-1 by Transwell assay, which is through regulating the mRNA and protein expression of uPA and MMP2, but not MMP9 by RT-PCR/Western blotting, and is positively correlated with the concentration of genistein. At the same time, genistein also could improve the progress of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) via morphology observation using light microscopy/transmission electron microscopy (TEM), which is mediated by the down-regulation of E-cadherin and the up-regulation of vimentin.TGF-b1 mediates EMT process via numerous intracellular signal transduction pathways. The potential molecular mechanisms are all or partly through Smad4-dependent and -independent pathways (p38 MAPK) to regulate the antitumor effect of genistein.

Using immunofluorescence staining, the patterns of histone H3 K4m2 of metaphase X chromosomes were measured in cloned cattle derived from FFB and FOV donor cells. The results demonstrated that the modification pattern of H3 K4m2 in the ear tissue of all clones was largely consistent with that of the donor cell line FFB and conventionally produced cattle, but different from that of the donor cell line FOV.
