Cashmere is an important economic resource for the agricultural industry. The secondary hair follicle cycle can control the yield and quality of cashmere. Therefore, to improve the yield and quality of cashmere in Liaoning cashmere goats, an understanding of the skin proteomic changes in the secondary hair follicle cycle is needed. In this study, we used a label-free proteomics approach to analyze the protein expression profile of the secondary hair follicle cycle at three stages (telogen, anagen, and catagen) in goat neck skin. Proteomics, bioinformatics, and immunofluorescence assays were employed. We identified 57 differentially abundant proteins (DAPs) and discovered that the proteins of the keratin family were highly expressed in the anagen and catagen phases. The analyses indicated that nine keratin proteins (KRT25, KRT27, KRT19, KRT10, KRT77, KRT1, KRT24, KRT14, and KRT4) can be regarded as markers of the hair follicle cycle. KRT1 was located in both the inner and outer root sheath, whereas KRT14 was located in the inner root sheath and KRT19 only in the outer sheath. Phylogenetic analysis showed that these nine keratin proteins have common evolutionary precursors, and each category has similar expression patterns. Functional enrichment analysis indicated that the estrogen and ECM-receptor interaction signaling pathways play important roles in secondary hair follicle phases/cycles. These findings provide an important resource for protein information related to cashmere goats, and the identified DAPs can be further applied to improve cashmere quality and production.

To avoid injury with the coexistence of human and mobile robot in the circumstance, a vision-based system for mobile robot/human localization is designed and implemented. The details of the system are described in this paper.

Compounds (S1-S3) containing triphenylamine donors, bipyridine acceptors and olefinic linkers were synthesized and characterized. Three compounds have excellent solubility in common solvents and tend to form solid films. The peaks of emission of S1-S3 are in the range of 476nm-504nm on solid films, corresponding to blue light emission. S1-S3 have fluorescence lifetime exceeding 2.05ns and absolute fluorescence quantum yield above 22% in dilute chloroform solutions. Three compounds possess glass-transition temperatures superior to 63°C. The HOMO levels are in the range of -5.17eV - -5.13eV to facilitate hole injection. The properties of S1-S3 indicate that these compounds are promising candidates as hole-transporting materials or blue light-emitting materials in organic light-emitting devices.

Two hole-transporting materials containing triphenylamine unit, 4-(4-(di-p- tolylamino)styryl)-N,N-di-p-tolylbenzenamine (TM 1) and 4-(4-(4-(di-p-tolylamino)styryl) styryl)-N,N-di-p-tolylbenzenamine(TM 2), have been designed and synthesized in this paper, which using conjugated bonds as the bridge to connect two molecules of triphenylamine. The optical spectrum, thermo-stabilization and electrochemical properties of two compounds were studied. The results show that these compounds have blue emission, proper HOMO levels and high thermal stability. Furthermore, EL devices with the configuration of ITO/HTL/Alq3/Al show the activating voltages are 11V for TM 1 and 5.5V for TM 2, respectively. The maximal luminancce efficiencies are 1.135cd/A for TM 1 and 2.068cd/A for TM 2, respectively. The difference of EL performance indicates that TM 2 possessing better hole-transporting performance than that of TM 1.

Two novel organic hole-transporting materials have been synthesized by combination of triphenylamines (TPA) via π-conjugated bonds using Wittig reaction. The structures were characterized by NMR, FT-IR and HRMS. The optical, electrochemical and thermal properties of the materials were studied in detail. The results show that these two compounds have blue emission, proper HOMO levels and high thermal stability. Furthermore, a quantum chemical calculation on electron distribution of the two compounds was performed, which suggests the current synthesized materials would be promising candidates for hole-transporting materials.

In a vision-based system for mobile robot/human localization in the environment, extracting feature from images and image matching are important for the final results. Although there are many algorithms for image matching, they are not fit for this system. A new method is designed to improve image matching effect.

A highly efficient and selective heterogeneous photocatalytic system for nitro reduction to amino organics was established using CdS, Ni2P and Na2S/Na2SO3 as a photosensitizer, a cocatalyst and a sacrificial electron donor in aqueous solution, respectively. Two competing pathways for photocatalytic H2 production and nitro reduction were found. Also, the reduction of nitroarenes to aniline was confirmed to proceed through both the direct and condensation routes.
