In recent years, Meituan has achieved certain positive results in China, but its management under the old system has led to the continuous emergence of deep-seated problems. The immaturity of the supply chain has led to a severe impact on Meituan and a lost customer base. The problem that Meituan faces are not only a supply chain problem but also the risk of expansion. To resolve these risks, we need to optimize the supply chain through Meituan, establish a general warehouse to accommodate more suppliers and establish self-pickup and distribution points. To make it easier for residents of the community to pick up the goods, the expansion of the hotel industry starts with low-star hotels and uses some guarantees and discounts to bring in new customers. These improvements are conducive to the steady and healthy development of Meituan in China and realizing an upward trend in the future.

This paper demonstrates an electronically scanned reflectarray antenna based on liquid crystal (LC). The LC-based reflectarray element was designed as a periodically loading of parallel H-shaped polygons on two metal layers. To realize a tunable reflection phase and reduce the inhomogeneity effect of LC, an 8-μm-thick LC layer was designed as a varactor rather than a substrate. In simulations, the adjustable reflection-phase range of the proposed element was 180° in the frequency band 21–21.5 GHz. The design concept was verified on a reflectarray prototype containing 26 rows of the basic elements. In addition, a 32-channel control circuit was designed and fabricated for biasing. The measured results confirmed a tunable phase range of 1500 at 23.8 GHz. The disagreements between the simulated and measured results are discussed and a test process is proposed. As a proof of concept, the main beam was steered to 0°, -40°, and -60° in one plane. The result confirmed the high beam-steering capability of the proposed reflectarray with measured gains above 18 dB at 23.8 GHz. This work provides useful references for the design and measurement of LC-based reflectarray antennas.

In this article, an omnidirectional dual-polarized antenna with synergetic electromagnetic and aerodynamic properties is propounded for high-speed diversity systems. The propounded antenna comprises a probe-fed cavity for horizontally polarized radiation and a microstrip-fed slot for vertical polarization. Double-layer metasurfaces are properly designed as artificial magnetic conductor boundaries with direct metal-mountable onboard installation and compact sizes. An attached wedge-shaped block is utilized for windage reduction in hydrodynamics. The propounded antenna is fabricated for design verification, and the experimental results agree well with the simulated ones. For vertical polarization, the operating bandwidth is in the range of 2.37–2.55 GHz, and the realized gain variation in the azimuthal radiation pattern is 3.67 decibels (dB). While an impedance bandwidth in the range of 2.45–2.47 GHz and a gain variation of 3.71 dB are also achieved for the horizontal polarization. A port isolation more than 33 dB is obtained in a compact volume of 0.247λ0 × 0.345λ0 × 0.074λ0, where λ0 represents the wavelength in vacuum at the center frequency, wherein the wedge-shaped block is included. The propounded diversity antenna has electromagnetic and aerodynamic merits, and exhibits an excellent potential for high-speed onboard communication.

Data were retrieved for 195 patients with lung adenocarcinoma undergoing elective radical lobectomy via video-assisted thoracoscopy between January 2018 and August 2019 in The Second Hospital of Shandong University, including 86 patients who received thoracic paravertebral block (TPVB) combined with general anaesthesia (group TG), and 109 patients who received general anaesthesia alone (group GA). All patients were given self-controlled intravenous analgesia pump for 48 h after surgery. The primary outcome was the recurrence-free survival 2 years postoperatively (the time between surgery and the earliest date of recurrence, metastasis or lung cancer-cause death). The secondary outcomes included the average numeric rating scale (NRS) scores within 48 h postoperatively, the first time of postoperative ambulation, duration of chest tube drainage, length of postoperative hospitalization, perioperative opioid consumption and the postoperative side effects.Results: There were no statistical differences in the recurrence-free survival 2 years postoperatively between groups (Multivariate hazard ratio 0.706, 95% CI 0.126– 3.941, P=0.691). The average NRS scores within 48 h postoperatively were significantly lower in group TG (P< 0.05). The first time of postoperative ambulation, duration of chest tube drainage, and length of postoperative hospitalization in group TG were significantly reduced (P< 0.05). Opioid consumption was significantly decreased in group TG (P< 0.01). Finally, the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) was significantly lower in group TG (P< 0.05).Conclusion: TPVB for thoracoscopic lung adenocarcinoma surgery did not improve the recurrence-free survival 2 years postoperatively compared with general anaesthesia alone, but it significantly enhanced the postoperative analgesia effect, reduced opioid consumption as well as side effects, and accelerated postoperative early recovery.Clinical Trial Registration Number: The Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR-2100050454).Keywords: lung adenocarcinoma, prognosis, video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, thoracic paravertebral block, ultrasound guidance

In this paper, a dual-linearly polarized endfire antenna is proposed with high gain and stable radiation patterns. A double-sided slot array antenna (DSSAA) and a corrugated rectangular metal strip (CRMS) are employed to realize vertical and horizontal polarization, respectively. Omnidirectional radiation pattern is obtained by etching transverse slots on both sides of the top and bottom metallic plates of a cavity. Based on the double-sided slot antenna, a DSSAA is proposed and fed by an air-substrate parallel strip line (PSL) for stable endfire radiation patterns. Then, the top plate of the DSSAA is reused as a CRMS for horizontal polarization (HP) and compact size. To verify this concept, an all-metal prototype was fabricated and measured. Both the simulation and experimental results show that the DSSAA and the CRMS could offer highest endfire gains of 12.5 dB and 12.9 dB respectively within a footprint of 3.47λ0 × 0.72λ0 × 0.13λ0 (λ0 is the free-space wavelength at the center frequency). In this article, a compact co-polarized decoupled antenna for full-duplex application working at 1.71 GHz is proposed. The antenna is composed of two back-to-back air-dielectric planar inverted-F antennas (PIFAs) with zero edge-to-edge distance. The whole system is included in a compact volume of $0.45\lambda _{\mathrm {\mathbf {0}}} \times 0.45\lambda _{\mathbf {0}} \times 0.02\lambda _{\mathbf {0}}$ . The proposed antenna is designed based on the common mode (CM)/differential mode (DM) cancellation theory and its design guideline is illustrated in detail. Isolation maximum of 42 dB, broadside gain of 6.7 dB, and efficiency of 90% have been achieved in the proposed structure. There is a 1.9 dB gain difference between the broadside gain and the maximum gain. The proposed antenna shows its potentials in the radio frequency front-end incorporate design.

This article presents a co-linearly polarized (LP) stacked two-port antenna with compact size and broadside radiation patterns for in-band full-duplex (IBFD) application. The proposed IBFD antenna consists of a patch antenna and a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed slot antenna (CBSA). The patch antenna and the CBSA are used as the transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx), respectively. The Rx is placed above the Tx for compact size. Linear polarization and broadside radiation patterns are achieved in this article. A cavity-patch coupling (CPC) path is added for canceling the slot-patch coupling (SPC) by using four probes to connect the top layer of the SIW cavity and the metal ground. Parametric studies show that the two coupling paths can be adjusted independently. Experimental results illustrate that the measured highest isolation over 40 dB is obtained with a compact size of $30\times 30\times {4}$ mm3 ( $0.63\lambda _{0} \times 0.63\lambda _{0} \times 0.08\lambda _{0}$ , $\lambda _{0}$ is the free-space wavelength at the center frequency of about 6.29 GHz). The measured −10 dB bandwidths of the Tx and Rx antennas are 430 and 100 MHz, respectively. The proposed stacked IBFD antenna is validated with the merits of identical polarization, same radiation direction, and compact size.

The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and alternative urea oxidation reaction (UOR) are both important half reactions correlated with hydrogen production. Transition metal based catalysts with double metal composition exhibit excellent electrocatalytic performance for the OER or UOR due to their synergetic effect and coupling of different active sites. However, the development of OER/UOR bifunctional electrocatalysts is unsatisfying and the role of each metallic active site in the OER and UOR is still unclear. Herein, we report a Fe-Mn based OER and UOR bifunctional catalyst through a simple one-step electrodeposition method. For the OER, the introduction of Mn improves the conductivity of the catalysts and fine-tunes the electron density of the Fe active sites. For the UOR, both Fe and Mn act as active sites and their coupling effect further improves the UOR activity. The catalyst with the optimal Mn/Fe ratio achieved an overpotential of 237 mV for the OER and a potential of 1.35 V for the UOR at 100 mA cm

BACKGROUND The poor prognosis and rising incidence of esophageal cancer highlight the need for improved therapeutics that are essential prior to treatment. LCL161 is an SMAC (second mitochondrial activator of caspases) mimic and inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP) antagonist which exhibits anti-tumor effects and improves the chemical sensitivity of many cancers. AIM To ascertain the effects and mechanisms of the SMAC analog LCL161 on esophageal cancer cells. METHODS MTT assay and TUNEL assay were used to detect cell proliferation and apoptosis, respectively. Western blot analysis was used to study the molecular mechanisms of LCL161-induced death of ECA109 cells. RESULTS LCL161 decreased ECA109 cell proliferation in dose- and time-dependent manner and induced apoptosis of ECA109 cells in a dose-dependent manner. Also, LCL161 induced a significant decrease in the expression of the XIAP and significant increase in the expression of Caspase-3. In addition, Bax increased significantly with increasing concentrations of LCL161, and the relative expression of Bax was significantly different between groups. CONCLUSION These findings support the hypothesis that LCL161 can inhibit proliferation and induce apoptosis in esophageal cancer cells by regulating the expression of IAP family members, suggesting that it has potential to be an effective treatment for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.

Background: We first introduce in detail how to read and understand thin-slice CT images to guide segmentectomy and then compare it with guidance by three-dimensional (3D) CT simulation.Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 111 patients who underwent VATS segmentectomy from September 2019 to September 2021. They were divided into the CT group (55 cases) and 3D simulation group (56 cases). Mean values were compared using Student’s t test, and frequency distributions were compared using the chi-square test or Fisher’s exact test.Results: The mean patient age in the CT and 3D simulation groups was 55.9 and 55.7 years, respectively, with 31 (56.4%) and 33 (58.9%) females in the CT and 3D simulation groups, respectively. Preoperative hospitalized preparation required an average of 2.8 days in the CT group compared to 3.6 days in 3D simulation group (p=0.0018). An average preoperative decision time of 1.3 days was required in the CT group, which was significantly different from the 2.3 days required in the 3D simulation group (p=0.0000). Noncomplex segmentectomy and some cases of complex segmentectomy, could be performed under the guidance of scientific reading of thin-slice CT images. There was no significant difference in the number of times the CT images or 3D simulation needed to be referenced during surgery (P=0.233) between the two groups.Conclusions: The scientific reading and understanding of thin-slice CT images may provide good guidance in most cases of VATS segmentectomy, shortening the preoperative preparation time and total hospital stay, constituting high-efficiency thoracic surgery to treat lung glass ground nodule with ERAS.

Background Laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication (LNF) is the most common standard technique worldwidely for Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Another type of fundoplication, laparoscopic Toupet fundoplication (LTF), intends to reduce incidence of postoperative complications. A systematic review and meta-analysis are required on short- and long-term outcomes based on randomized controlled trials (RCTs) between LNF and LTF. Methods We searched databases including PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, and Web of Knowledge for RCTs comparing LNF and LTF. Outcomes included postoperative reflux recurrence, postoperative heartburn, dysphagia and postoperative chest pain, inability to belch, gas bloating, satisfaction with intervention, postoperative esophagitis, postoperative DeMeester scores, operating time (min), in-hospital complications, postoperative use of proton pump inhibitors, reoperation rate, postoperative lower oesophageal sphincter (LOS) pressure (mmHg). We assessed data using risk ratios and weighted mean differences in meta-analyses. Results Eight eligible RCTs comparing LNF (n = 605) and LTF (n = 607) were identified. There were no significant differences between the LNF and LTF in terms of postoperative reflux recurrence, postoperative heartburn, postoperative chest pain, satisfaction with intervention, reoperation rate in short and long term, in-hospital complications, esophagitis in short term, and gas bloating, postoperative DeMeester scores, postoperative use of proton pump inhibitors, reoperation rate in long term. LTF had lower LOS pressure (mmHg), fewer postoperative dysphagia and inability to belch in short and long term and gas bloating in short term compared to LNF. Conclusion LTF were equally effective at controlling reflux symptoms and improving the quality of life, but with lower rate of complications compared to LNF. We concluded that LTF surgical treatment was superior for over 16 years old patients with typical symptoms of GERD and without upper abdominal surgical history upon high-level evidence of evidence-based medicine.

BACKGROUND To distinguish early-stage lung cancer from benign disease in pulmonary nodules, especially lesions with ground-glass opacity (GGO), we assessed gene mutations of ctDNA in peripheral blood using targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS). METHODS Single pulmonary nodule patients without mediastinal lymph nodes and symptoms that were hard to diagnose by chest CT and lung cancer biomarker measurement in multiple medical centers were enrolled into the study. All patients accepted minimally invasive surgery but refused preoperative biopsy. Gene mutations in preoperative blood samples were detected by targeted NGS. Mutations with significant differences between lung tumors and benign lesions, as grouped by postoperative pathology, were screened. Protein expression was determined by immunohistochemistry. Highly expressed genes were selected as biomarkers to verify the mutations in peripheral blood. Marsdenia tenacissima injection (MTE), a traditional Chinese medical injection extracted from the rattan of Marsdenia tenacissima (Roxb.) Moon, has been approved for clinical use in China as an adjuvant therapeutic agent in multiple cancers, including esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer, and liver cancer. However, the activity and mechanism of MTE on prostate cancer (PCa) remain to be defined.To investigate the activity and the underlying mechanism of MTE in the treatment of PCa.The component characterization of MTE was analyzed by HPLC-CAD-QTOF-MS/MS technology. Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to assess PCa cell proliferation. Colony formation assay was applied to detect the clonogenic ability of the cells. MetaboAnalyst5.0 database was employed to analyze the altered metabolites of PC3 cells treated with MTE obtained by UPLC-QTOF-MS/MS. Combined with metabolomics analysis and network pharmacology, we predicted the potential targets, which further were verified by Western Blot, RT-qPCR, and Immunohistochemistry assays. Finally, SeeSAR software was applied to predict the potential active components of MTE against PCa.A total of 21 components in MTE were confirmed by HPLC-CAD-QTOF-MS/MS analysis. MTE inhibited the proliferation and colony formation of PCa cells. A total of 20 metabolites closely related to glycerophospholipid metabolism, glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, and tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle were significantly changed in PC3 cells treated with MTE. The network pharmacology analysis revealed that MTE suppressed the growth of PC3 cells might by regulating the ErbB2-GSK3β-HIF1α signaling axis. Furthermore, we also confirmed that stimulation of MTE significantly inhibited the phosphorylation of ErbB2 at Tyr877 and the activities of its downstream signal transducers (GSK3β and HIF1α) in PCa, as well as the mRNA levels of critical factors (IDH2, LDHA, and HIF1A) in the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. Molecular docking further suggested that Tenacissimoside E, cryptochlorogenic acid, and scopoletin might be the active ingredients of MTE for PCa treatment.This study proposed that MTE exerts a potential anti-tumor effect in PCa through inhibiting ErbB2-GSK3β-HIF1α signaling axis, which may be related to the TCA cycle.

The percentage of advanced maternal age (aged over 35 years) mothers has been rising across the world, the evidence of maternal age on neonatal outcomes from low- and middle-income countries is scarce. Our objective was to evaluate the effect of maternal age on mortality and major morbidity among very preterm infants admitted to Chinese neonatal intensive care units.Data from a retrospective multi-center cohort of all complete care very preterm infants admitted to 57 neonatal intensive care units that participated in the Chinese Neonatal Network from January 1st to December 31st, 2019 were analyzed. Neonatal outcomes including mortality or any major morbidity, defined as necrotizing enterocolitis stage 2 or 3, moderatesevere bronchopulmonary dysplasia, severe intraventricular hemorrhage, cystic periventricular leukomalacia, severe retinopathy of prematurity, or sepsis. A multiple logistic regression model was constructed to analyze the independent association between maternal age and neonatal outcome.Among 7,698 eligible newborns, 80.5% of very preterm infants were born to mothers between the ages of 21 and 35 years, with 18.0% born to mothers35 years and 1.5% born to mothers21 years. Higher rates of maternal hypertension, maternal diabetes, cesarean deliveries, antenatal steroid usage were noted as maternal age increased. The proportion of prenatal care, cesarean section, antenatal steroid usage and inborn for very preterm infants born to mothers21 years was lower than those of mothers of other ages. Compared to the ages of 21-35 years group, the odds of severe intraventricular hemorrhage (adjusted odd ratio: 2.00, 95% CI: 1.08-3.71) was significantly higher in the ages of 15-20 years group. Increasing maternal age was associated with higher rates of small for gestational age and lower birth weight of very preterm infants, but no correlation between advanced maternal age and very preterm infants mortality or major morbidity.Among very preterm infants, increasing maternal age was associated with higher rates of small for gestational age but not neonatal mortality or major morbidity. Young maternal age may increase the risk of severe intraventricular hemorrhage of very preterm infants.

This article presents a pattern-reconfigurable saber-like antenna with low wind drag for the onboard communication application, under the requirement of upper hemispherical coverage. The compact antenna mainly consists of a segmented loop and a $\Pi $ -shaped polygon, which are closely integrated for compact size. By controlling the OFF/ON states of a p-i-n diode embedded in the segmented loop, the proposed antenna can be operated at dipole/monopole modes. An upper hemispherical coverage area can be achieved since broadside and omnidirectional patterns are obtained at dipole and monopole modes, respectively. To validate the design strategy, a prototype was fabricated and tested. A good agreement between the simulated and measured results is achieved. The measured −8 dB reflection coefficient common bandwidth of two modes is from 2.16 to 2.63 GHz with the relative bandwidth of 19.6% while keeping a smaller size of $30.5\times 32.5\times 0.6$ mm3 ( $0.24\,\,\lambda _{0} \times 0.26 \lambda _{0}\times 0.005 \lambda _{0}$ , $\lambda _{0}$ is the free-space wavelength at the center frequency). We portend that the proposed design scheme, with merits of low wind drag, metal ground compatibility, and upper hemispherical coverage, has the potential for airborne application.

This communication presents a dual-mode dipole antenna for impedance bandwidth improvement. In our approach, an electrically small loop (ESL) resonator is properly loaded to compress the operating frequencies of first- and third-order modes. With the existence of ESL, the third-order mode shifts to its first-order mode to obtain a wide bandwidth with stable polarization and radiation patterns, due to the fact that ESL is equivalent to an orthogonal magnetic dipole at the third-order mode. To validate the design strategy, a prototype was fabricated and tested. Omnidirectional radiation pattern in H-plane is achieved over the entire operating band from 2.94 to 3.89 GHz while keeping a smaller size of $0.45\lambda _{0}\times 0.17\lambda _{0} (\lambda _{0}$ is the wavelength in free space at the center frequency). Good agreement has been obtained between measurement and simulation.

Surgical resection is the most common and effective option for the clinical treatment of lung cancer. Postoperative pain may activate surgically induced stress response, leading to a decrease in human immune function. However, conventional analgesics such as morphine and its derivatives have been reported to have immunosuppressive side effects. In the critical period after surgery, the immunosuppressive effect of analgesics on patients with lung cancer could promote postoperative cancer recurrence and metastasis. Therefore, it will be an ideal scenario for postoperative pain management to maximize pain relief while minimizing immunosuppression side effects. In this study, we found that a novel mixed agonist-antagonist opioid analgesic, dezocine, significantly promoted the morphological maturation of dendritic cells (DCs), and increase the expression of DCs-related surface markers in postoperative peripheral blood of patients with lung cancer. Furthermore, dezocine-matured DCs increased the general immune response by promoting the secretion of IL-12 and IL-6 cytokines and enhancing the proliferation and cytotoxicity of CD8+ T cells. Then genome-wide transcriptomic profiling analyses were performed to identify the specific gene expression of dezocine-matured DCs. The results of transcriptomic analysis as well as in vitro validation showed that the upregulation of CXCL10, CD3G, and GRB2 were significantly associated with dezocine-induced DCs maturation. Overall, our data showed that dezocine might exhibit unique properties by acting as an immunostimulant, which provides new evidence for its application in postoperative pain management of patients with lung cancer.

An increasing number of studies have suggested the dysbiosis of salivary microbiome has been linked to the advancement of multiple diseases and proved to be helpful for the diagnosis of them. Although epidemiological studies of salivary microbiota in carcinogenesis are mounting, no systemic study exists regarding the oral microbiota of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients. In this study, we presented the characteristics of the salivary microbiota in patients from NSCLC and healthy controls by sequencing of the 16S rRNA microbial genes. Our result revealed distinct salivary microbiota composition in patients from NSCLC compared to the healthy controls. As principal co-ordinates analysis (PCoA) showed, saliva samples clearly differed between the two groups, considering the weighted (p = 0.001, R2 = 0.17), and unweighted (p = 0.001, R2 = 0.25) UniFrac distance. Phylum Firmicutes (31.69% vs 24.25%, p < 0.05) and its two genera Veillonella (15.51%% vs 9.35%, p < 0.05) and Streptococcus (9.96% vs 6.83%, p < 0.05) were strongly increased in NSCLC group compared to the controls. Additionally, the relative abundances of Fusobacterium (3.06% vs 4.92%, p = 0.08), Prevotella (1.45% vs 3.52%, p < 0.001), Bacteroides (0.56% vs 2.24%, p < 0.001), and Faecalibacterium (0.21% vs 1.00%, p < 0.001) in NSCLC group were generally decreased. Furthermore, we investigated the correlations between systemic inflammation markers and salivary microbiota. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) positively correlated with the Veillonella (r =0.350, p = 0.007) and lymphocyte-monocyte ratio (LMR) negatively correlated with Streptococcus (r =-0.340, p = 0.008). Additionally, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways inferred by phylogenetic investigation of communities by reconstruction of unobserved states (PICRUSt) showed that pathways related to xenobiotics biodegradation and metabolism (p < 0.05) and amino acid metabolism (p < 0.05) were enriched in the NSCLC group. Folate biosynthesis (p < 0.05) significantly decreased in NSCLC group. The specific correlations of clinical systemic inflammation markers and predicted KEGG pathways also could pronounce a broad understanding of salivary microbiota in patients with NSCLC. Moreover, our study extended the new sight into salivary microbiota-targeted interventions to clinically improve the therapeutic strategies for salivary dysbiosis in NSCLC patients. Further investigations of the potential mechanism of salivary microbiota in the progression of NSCLC are still in demand.

Background Lei-gong-gen formula granule (LFG) is a folk prescription derived from Zhuang nationality, the largest ethnic minority among 56 nationalities in China. It consists of three herbs, namely Eclipta prostrata (L.) L., Smilax glabra Roxb, and Centella asiatica (L.) Urb. It has been widely used as health protection tea for hundreds of years to prevent hypertension in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The purpose of this study is to validate the antihypertensive effect of LFG on the spontaneously hypertensive rat (SHR) model, and to further identify the effective components and anti-hypertension mechanism of LFG. Methods The effects of LFG on blood pressure, body weight, and heart rate were investigated in vivo using the SHR model. The levels of NO, ANG II, and ET-1 in the serum were measured, and pathological changes in the heart were examined by H&E staining. The main active components of LFG, their corresponding targets, and hypertension associated pathways were discerned through network pharmacology analysis based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology (TCMSP), Traditional Chinese Medicine Integrated Database (TCMID), and the Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine (BATMAN-TCM). Then the predicted results were further verified by molecular biology experiments such as RT-qPCR and western blot. Additionally, the potential active compounds were predicted by molecular docking technology, and the chemical constituents of LFG were analyzed and identified by UPLC-QTOF/MS technology. Finally, an in vitro assay was performed to investigate the protective effects of potential active compounds against hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) induced oxidative damage in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). Results LFG could effectively reduce blood pressure and increase serum NO content in SHR model. Histological results showed that LFG could ameliorate pathological changes such as cardiac hypertrophy and interstitial inflammation. From network pharmacology analysis, 53 candidate active compounds of LFG were collected, which linked to 765 potential targets, and 828 hypertension associated targets were retrieved, from which 12 overlapped targets both related to candidate active compounds from LFG and hypertension were screened and used as the potential targets of LFG on antihypertensive effect. The molecular biology experiments of the 12 overlapped targets showed that LFG could upregulate the mRNA and protein expressions of NOS3 and proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase SRC (SRC) in the thoracic aorta. Pathway enrichment analysis showed that the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway was closely related to the expression of NOS3 and SRC. Moreover, western blot results showed that LFG significantly increased the protein expression levels of PI3K and phosphorylated AKT in SHR model, suggesting that LFG may active the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway to decrease hypertension. Molecular docking study further supported that p-hydroxybenzoic acid, cedar acid, shikimic acid, salicylic acid, nicotinic acid, linalool, and histidine can be well binding with NOS3, SRC, PI3K, and AKT. UPLC-QTOF/MS analysis confirmed that p-hydroxybenzoic acid, shikimic acid, salicylic acid, and nicotinic acid existed in LFG. Pre-treatment of HUVEC with nicotinic acid could alleviate the effect on cell viability induced by H2O2 and increase the NO level in cell supernatants. Conclusions LFG can reduce the blood pressure in SHR model, which might be attributed to increasing the NO level in serum for promoting vasodilation via upregulating SRC expression level and activating the PI3K-AKT-NOS3 signaling pathway. Nicotinic acid might be the potential compound for LFG antihypertensive effect.
