2. Formation and elimination mechanisms of prior particle boundaries in a new powder metallurgy superalloy

The formation of prior particle boundaries (PPBs) in a new powder metallurgy superalloy during hot isostatic pressing (HIP) is investigated. Also, the impact of subsequent hot deformation on the elimination of PPBs is systematically studied. The PPBs involves large γ′ phases, carbides (MC and M6C) and oxides (Al2O3, SiO2 and ZrO2). The reactions among the superficial oxides, the adsorbed C and O elements on the particle surface and internally-migrated alloying elements are the dominant reasons for the formation of PPBs during HIP. Besides, the existence of surface tension and surface energy induces the carbon segregation, as well as the formation of PPBs. Thus, the density of PPBs decreases when the spacing between powders is shrunk by a rapid deformation. In hot forming process, the PPBs can be efficiently eliminated via raising deformation temperature/true strain or reducing strain rate. The interactions between dislocations and PPBs, as well as the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization (DRX) induced by the strain/orientation gradient, lead to the elimination of PPBs. The thermodynamic stability of carbides declines with the raised temperature. It indicates that the dissolution of carbides and the elimination of PPBs can be accelerated via raising the deformation temperature. The breakage or deformation behavior of PPBs during hot extrusion is investigated by numerical simulation. The deformation degree of PPBs increases with the raised extrusion ratio. The above important findings are useful for developing hot extrusion processing to effectively eliminate PPBs.

3. Comparison of the effects between toric-designed and spherical orthokeratology for the control of moderate-to-low myopia in adolescents

AIM: To compare the control effects between toric-designed orthokeratology and spherical orthokeratology on adolescents with moderate-to-low myopia.METHODS: The clinical data of 169 adolescents(290 eyes)with moderate-to-low myopia in Jiayuan Outpatient Department of Shanghai Demu Ophthalmology from July 2020 to June 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. The patients were divided into toric group and spherical group according to the type of orthokeratology, with 81 cases(135 eyes)and 88 cases(155 eyes)respectively. The changes of visual acuity and ocular axis before and after treatment were recorded to evaluate the therapeutic effect.RESULTS: The uncorrected visual acuity of both groups significantly improved at 1a after treatment(P0.05).CONCLUSION: Both toric-designed orthokeratology and spherical orthokeratology can improve the uncorrected visual acuity of adolescents with low-to-moderate myopia, and there is no significant difference in controlling effect on myopia.

4. A randomized controlled trial of a nurse-led psychological pain solution-focused intervention for depressed inpatients: study protocol

Abstract Background Depressed patients commonly experience psychological pain. Research pointed to positive psychological interventions as an effective means of ameliorating psychological pain, although the exact effect is unclear. Based on the hope theory and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), this study combines hope theory with solution-focused brief therapy to develop a nurse-led psychological pain solution-focused (PPSF) intervention in depressed patients. Methods This is an assessor-blinded randomized controlled trial following the SPIRIT guidance. A total of 84 depressed patients will be recruited from the inpatient wards of a psychiatric hospital and randomly assigned to the control and experimental groups. Patients in the control group will be treated as usual. In contrast, patients in the experimental group will receive 6 sessions of the PPSF intervention for two weeks on top of the routine care. Primary outcomes are psychological pain, hope, cognitive distortions. Secondary outcomes are depression and suicidal ideation. Data will be collected at 5-time points: baseline, 1 and 2 weeks (post-intervention), 1 month (follow up), and 6 months after baseline. Generalized equation evaluation will be used to assess the effectiveness of the PPSF intervention. Discussion From a positive psychology perspective, there remains much room for developing psychological pain interventions in depressed patients. SFBT and hope theory are both based on positive psychology. With hope theory as the general framework and SFBT questions as the practical guide, the PPSF intervention program is designed that nursing staff can implement. If the intervention is effective, it will advance the development of psychological pain interventions for patients with depression. Trial registration ChiCTR2100048223

5. The mediating and moderating role of psychological resilience between occupational stress and mental health of psychiatric nurses: a multicenter cross-sectional study

Abstract Background The particular occupational stress of psychiatric nurses has a negative impact on their mental health. There is evidence that psychological resilience can promote mental health; however, the relationship between resilience in occupational stress and mental health of psychiatric nurses is unclear, and mental health was assessed from a psychopathological perspective, neglecting the role of positive psychology. Therefore, this study was based on a dual-factor model of mental health, describing mental health in terms of both positive well-being and psychiatric symptoms. We aimed to investigate the level of psychiatric nurses' mental health and whether resilience plays a mediating or moderating role between occupational stress and mental health in psychiatry nurses. Methods A cross sectional survey of 450 psychiatric nurses in five hospitals in Jiangsu Province was conducted using a convenience sampling method, of which 413 were valid questionnaires with an effective rate of 91.8%. The evaluation included the Chinese Nurses’ Stress Scale, the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale, and the General Health Questionnaire. Descriptive and Spearman correlation analyses were performed using SPSS25.0 while mediating and moderating effects were performed using SmartPLS3.0. Results Based on a dual-factor model of mental health, this study found that psychiatric nurses had a low general state of mental health, with 54.5% positive mental health, 7% vulnerable, 21.8% symptomatic but content, and 16.7% completely troubled. In addition, we found that resilience plays a mediating role in stress and mental health [β = -0.230, 95% CI of (-0.310, -0.150)] and does not play a moderating role [β = -0.018, 95%CI (-0.091, 0.055)]. Conclusions Psychiatric nurses are in a poor state of mental health, and psychological resilience partly mediates occupational stress and mental health. This study suggests that attention should be paid to both positive and negative aspects of psychiatric nurses' mental health, and strategies should be developed to reduce occupational stress and develop psychological resilience.

BackgroundAmnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) is an early stage of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Regional homogeneity (ReHo) and amplitude of low-frequency fluctuation (ALFF) are employed to explore spontaneous brain function in patients with aMCI. This study applied ALFF and ReHo indicators to analyze the neural mechanism of aMCI by resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI).MethodsTwenty-six patients with aMCI were included and assigned to the aMCI group. The other 26 healthy subjects were included as a healthy control (HC) group. Rs-fMRI was performed for all participants in both groups. Between-group comparisons of demographic data and neuropsychological scores were analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Functional imaging data were analyzed using DPARSF and SPM12 software based on MATLAB 2017a. BackgroundAt present, the phenomenon of patients with mental disorders not seeking mental help is very serious, and the mental help-seeking attitude is the central structure of the help process. However, there is no consensus on which patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) should be used to assess mental help-seeking attitudes.ObjectiveThe systematic review aims to critically appraise, compare, and summarize the measurement quality of the all-available PROMs about mental help-seeking attitudes to provide evidence-based guidance and reference for clinical researchers.MethodsA systematic search was conducted in 9 databases (PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, Medline, APA, CINAHL, Sinomed, CNKI, and WanFang) since the establishment of the database until November 30, 2022 to identify articles on the PROMs of mental help-seeking attitudes. We used the COSMIN guidelines to evaluate the methodological quality and measurement properties of all-available PROMs, and a modified Grading, Recommendation, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) system to evaluate the level of evidence supporting each rating. Finally, the recommendation level is given according to the overall quality of each PROM.ResultsWe identified 29 studies representing 13 PROMs out of 2,828 screening studies. The overall quality of the included PROMs varied, with 6 rated as class B, 6 as class C, and only the Mental Help Seeking Attitudes Scale (MHSAS) as class A.ConclusionThe measurement characteristics of MHSAS have been the most comprehensive evaluation, and it has good reliability and validity, and high feasibility for clinical application, so it can be temporarily recommended for use, but the above conclusions still need to be supported by more high-quality evidence.

BackgroundAlzheimer's disease (AD) is a common, progressive, irreversible, and fatal neurodegenerative disorder with rapidly increasing worldwide incidence. Although much research on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the white matter (WM) in AD has been published, no bibliometric analysis study has investigated this issue. Thus, this study aimed to provide an overview of the current status, hotspots, and trends in MRI of WM in AD.MethodsWe searched for records related to MRI studies of WM in AD from 1990 to 2022 in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database. CiteSpace (version 5.1.R8) and VOSviewer (version 1.6.19) software were used for bibliometric analyses.ResultsA total of 2,199 articles were obtained from this study. From 1990 to 2022, the number of published articles showed exponential growth of y = 4.1374e0.1294x, with an average of 17.9 articles per year. The top country and institutions were the United States and the University of California Davis, accounting for 44.52 and 5.32% of the total studies, respectively. The most productive journal was Neurology, and the most co-cited journal was Lancet Neurology. Decarli C was the most productive author. The current research frontier trend focuses on the association between small vessel disease and AD, the clinical application and exploration of diffusion MRI, and related markers.ConclusionThis study provides an in-depth overview of publications on MRI of WM in AD, identifying the current research status, hotspots, and frontier trends in the field.

9. Ultra-wide-band-based adaptive Monte Carlo localization for kidnap recovery of mobile robot

In the article, a global localization algorithm based on improved ultra-wide-band-based adaptive Monte Carlo localization is proposed for quick and robust kidnap recovery of mobile robot. First, two ultra-wide-band modules, the tag installed inside the mobile robot and the anchor installed inside charging station, are used to obtain the relative distance between the mobile robot and the charging station. Second, the global grid map is converted into a map with obstacle noise given the ranging accuracy of the ultra-wide-band modules with different obstacles. Third, while the robot is kidnapped, matching grids are screened based on the range information of ultra-wide-band modules and the obstacle noise of the grids. Finally, global localization algorithm is performed based on ultra-wide-band-based adaptive Monte Carlo localization to convert randomly generated particles from the whole map into randomly generated particles in the local map. Experimental results based on gazebo simulation and a real scenario showed that our global localization algorithm based on improved ultra-wide-band-based adaptive Monte Carlo localization not only significantly helped to improve the chances of the robot global pose recovery from lost or kidnapped state but also enabled the robot kidnap recovery with a smaller number of randomly generated particles, thus reducing the time to recover its accurate global localization. The algorithm was also more effective especially for kidnap recovery in a similar and large scenario.

Abstract The use of double‐barreled nanopipette (θ‐nanopipette) to electrically sample, manipulate, or detect biomaterials has recently seen strong growth in single‐cell studies, driven by the potential of the nanodevices and applications that they may enable. Considering the pivotal roles of Na/K ratio (RNa/K) at cellular level, herein we describe an engineered θ‐nanopipette for measuring single‐cell RNa/K. The two independently addressable nanopores, located within one nanotip, allow respective customization of functional nucleic acids but simultaneous deciphering of Na and K levels inside a single cell of a non‐Faradic manner. Two ionic current rectification signals, corresponding to the Na‐ and K‐specific smart DNA responses, could be easily used to derive the RNa/K. The applicability of this nanotool is validated by practical probing intracellular RNa/K during the drug‐induced primary stage of apoptotic volume decrease. Especially, the RNa/K has been shown by our nanotool to be different in cell lines with different metastatic potential. This work is expected to contribute to futuristic study of single‐cell RNa/K in various physiological and pathological processes.

12. Research on Psychache in Suicidal Population: A Bibliometric and Visual Analysis of Papers Published During 1994–2020

Background: Psychache is a negative introspective experience, which is positively associated with the risk of suicide, independently of depression. It is undeniable that psychache is an important influencing factor to trigger suicide, which can also mediate the effect between depression and suicide variables. Nevertheless, the research tendency and current hotspots on psychache of suicide population have not been systematically investigated based on bibliometric analysis.Aim: The aim of the study was to analyze the research status, hotspots, and frontiers of psychological pain in the field of suicidology, so as to provide reference for domestic clinical research.Methods: The literature related to psychache in suicide individuals published from 1994 to 2020 was included and selected from the Web of Science Core Collection database on May 28, 2021. CiteSpace (version 5.7.R2) software was used to visualize and analyze highly cited journals, authors, and articles as well as co-occurrence analysis for countries, institution, authors, and keywords.Results: A total of 230 articles from the WoS database were included. The number of papers over the years showed an overall upward trend. The United States has made the largest contribution, with the majority of publications (89, 38.70%), followed by Canada (48, 20.87%), Israel (31, 13.48%), China (20, 8.80%), and Portugal (17, 7.39%). The most productive institution was Queen's University. Edwin S. Shneidman has the largest achievement and profound influence, and the most prolific author is Ronald R. Holden. However, the cooperation between institutions and authors was comparatively weak. The current hotspots in this field focus on the studies on the relationships between depression, despair, psychache, and suicide, the risk assessments of psychological pain, and the development of psychological pain scales. Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior was the most frequently cited journal in this field.Conclusions: This analysis not only reveals the current research trend and hotspots but also provides some instructive suggestions on the development of psychache in the suicidology. Future work should pay more attention to develop effective psychological pain intervention programs for diverse suicide population. Additionally, longitudinal study can also be conducted to grasp the trajectory changes of psychological pain among suicide individuals.

13. Chinese Cabbage Changes Its Release of Volatiles to Defend against Spodoptera litura

Plants respond to herbivorous insect attacks by releasing volatiles that directly harm the herbivore or that indirectly harm the herbivore by attracting its natural enemies. Although the larvae of Spodoptera litura (the tobacco cutworm) are known to induce the release of host plant volatiles, the effects of such volatiles on host location by S. litura and by the parasitoid Microplitis similis, a natural enemy of S. litura larvae, are poorly understood. Here, we found that both the regurgitate of S. litura larvae and S. litura-infested cabbage leaves attracted M. similis. S. litura had a reduced preference for cabbage plants that had been infested with S. litura for 24 or 48 h. M. similis selection of plants was positively correlated with the release of limonene; linalool and hexadecane, and was negatively correlated with the release of (E)-2-hexenal and 1-Butene, 4-isothiocyanato. S. litura selection of plants was positively correlated with the release of (E)-2-hexenal, 1-Butene, 4-isothiocyanato, and decanal, and was negatively correlated with the release of limonene, nonanal, hexadecane, heptadecane, and octadecane. Our results indicate that host plant volatiles can regulate the behavior of S. litura and M. similis.

14. Advanced glycation end products induce neural tube defects through elevating oxidative stress in mice

Our previous study showed an association between advanced glycation end products (AGEs) and neural tube defects (NTDs). To understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the effect of AGEs on neural tube development, C57BL/6 female mice were fed for 4 weeks with commercial food containing 3% advanced glycation end product bovine serum albumin (AGE-BSA) or 3% bovine serum albumin (BSA) as a control. After mating mice, oxidative stress markers including malondialdehyde and H2O2 were measured at embryonic day 7.5 (E7.5) of gestation, and the level of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) in embryonic cells was determined at E8.5. In addition to evaluating NTDs, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay was used to determine the effect of embryonic protein administration on the N-(carboxymethyl) lysine reactivity of acid and carboxyethyl lysine antibodies at E10.5. The results showed a remarkable increase in the incidence of NTDs at E10.5 in embryos of mice fed with AGE-BSA (no hyperglycemia) compared with control mice. Moreover, embryonic protein administration resulted in a noticeable increase in the reactivity of N-(carboxymethyl) lysine and N(ε)-(carboxyethyl) lysine antibodies. Malondialdehyde and H2O2 levels in embryonic cells were increased at E7.5, followed by increased intracellular ROS levels at E8.5. Vitamin E supplementation could partially recover these phenomena. Collectively, these results suggest that AGE-BSA could induce NTDs in the absence of hyperglycemia by an underlying mechanism that is at least partially associated with its capacity to increase embryonic oxidative stress levels.

Nowadays, the emerging photoelectrochemical (PEC) bioanalysis has drawn intensive interest due to its numerous merits. As one of its core elements, functional nanostructured materials play a crucial role during the construction of PEC biosensors, which can not only be employed as transducers but also act as signal probes. Although both chemical composition and morphology control of nanostructured materials contribute to the excellent analytical performance of PEC bioassay, surveys addressing nanostructures with different dimensionality have rarely been reported. In this review, according to classification based on dimensionality, zero-dimensional, one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional nanostructures used in PEC bioanalysis are evaluated, with an emphasis on the effect of morphology on the detection performances. Furthermore, using the illustration of recent works, related novel PEC biosensing patterns with promising applications are also discussed. Finally, the current challenges and some future perspectives in this field are addressed based on our opinions.

Robertsonian translocations (ROBs) have an estimated incidence rate of 1/1000 births, making this type of rearrangement the most common structural chromosomal abnormalities seen in the general population. In this study, we reports 872 cases of ROBs from 205,001 specimens karyotyped postnatally in a single accredited laboratory in China, including 583 balanced ROBs, 264 unbalanced ROBs, 9 mosaic ROBs, and 18 complex ROBs. Ninety-three percent of the balanced ROBs observed were adults with infertility, miscarriage, or offspring(s) with known chromosomal abnormalities. Significant excess of females were found to be carriers of balanced ROBs with an adjusted male/female ratio of 0.77. Ninety-eight percent of the unbalanced ROBs observed were children with variable referral reasons. Almost all of the unbalanced ROBs involved chromosome 21 except a single ROB with [46,XX,der(13;14),+13] identified in a newborn girl with multiple congenital anomalies. Multiple novel ROB karyotypes were reported in this report. This study represents the largest collections of ROBs in Chinese population.

Plant leaf litter is an important source of soil chemicals that are essential for the ecosystem and changes in leaf litter chemical traits during decomposition will determine the availability of multiple chemical elements recycling in the ecosystem. However, it is unclear whether the changes in litter chemical traits during decomposition and their similarities across species can be predicted, respectively, using other leaf traits or using the phylogenetic relatedness of the litter species. Here we examined the fragmentation levels, mass losses, and the changes of 10 litter chemical traits during 1-yr decomposition under different environmental conditions (within/above surrounding litter layer) for 48 temperate tree species and related them to an important leaf functional trait, i.e. leaf toughness. Leaf toughness could predict the changes well in terms of amounts, but poorly in terms of concentrations. Changes of 7 out of 10 litter chemical traits during decomposition showed a significant phylogenetic signal notably when litter was exposed above surrounding litter. These phylogenetic signals in element dynamics were stronger than those of initial elementary composition. Overall, relatively hard-to-measure ecosystem processes like element dynamics during decomposition could be partly predicted simply from phylogenies and leaf toughness measures. We suggest that the strong phylogenetic signals in chemical ecosystem functioning of species may reflect the concerted control by multiple moderately conserved traits, notably if interacting biota suffer microclimatic stress and spatial isolation from ambient litter.

Currently, the nanofluidic synapse can only perform basic neuromorphic pulse patterns. One immediate problem that needs to be addressed to further its capability of brain-like computing is the realization of a nanofluidic spiking device. Here, we report the use of a poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate membrane to achieve bionic ionic current-induced spiking. In addition to the simulation of various electrical pulse patterns, our synapse could produce transmembrane ionic current-induced spiking, which is highly analogous to biological action potentials with similar phases and excitability. Moreover, the spiking properties could be modulated by ions and neurochemicals. We expect that this work could contribute to biomimetic spiking computing in solution. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Single-cell interrogation with the solid-state nanoprobes enables understanding of the linkage between cellular behavior and heterogeneity. Herein, inspired by the charge property of the organic molecular probe (OMP), a generic ionic current rectification (ICR) single-cell methodology is established, exemplified by subcellular detection of glutathione (GSH) with high selectivity, sensitivity, and recyclability. The as-developed nanosensor can transduce the subcellular OMP-GSH interaction via a sensitive ionic response, which stems from the superior specificity of OMP and its essential charge property. In addition, the nanosensor exhibits good reversibility, since the subsequent tandem reaction after the recognition can well recover the sensing surface. Given the diverse structures and tailorable charge properties of OMP, this work underpins a new and general method of OMP-based ICR single-cell analysis.

Nature makes use of molecular charges to operate specific biological synthesis and reactions. Targeting advanced opto-bioelectronic sensors, organic photoelectrochemical transistors (OPECTs), taking advantage of the light fuel substituting an external gate potential, is now debuting and expected to serve as a universal platform for studying the rich light-biomatter interplay for new bioanalytics. Given the ubiquity of charged biomolecules in nature, molecular charge manipulation should underpin a generic route for innovative OPECT regulation and operation, which nevertheless has remained unachieved. Herein, this work manifests the biological tuning of surface charge toward the OPECT biosensor, which was exemplified by a light-sensitive CdS quantum dot (QD) gate electrode interfaced by a smart DNA superstructure with adenosine triphosphate (ATP) responsiveness. Highly negative-charged supramolecular DNA concatemers were self-assembled via sequential hybridization, and the ATP-triggered disassembly of the DNA concatemers would cause a tandem change of the effective gate voltage and transfer characteristics with significantly improved resolution. The present opto-bioelectronic device translates the events of charged molecules into amplified electrical signals and outlines a generic format for the future exploitation of rich biological tunability and light-biomatter interplay for innovative bioanalytics and beyond.

The use of functional DNA nanostructures as carriers to ship proteins through solid-state nanopores has recently seen substantial growth in single-protein-molecule detection (SPMD), driven by the potential of this methodology and implementations that it may enable. Ultrasmall nanopores have exhibited obvious advantages in spatiotemporal biological detection due to the appropriate nanoconfined spaces and unique properties. Herein, a 6.8 nm DNA tetrahedron (TDN) with a target-specific DNA aptamer (TDN-apt) was engineered to carry the representative target of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) through an ultrasmall nanopipet with a 30 nm orifice, underpinning the advanced SPMD of AChE with good performance in terms of high selectivity, low detection limit (0.1 fM), and especially superior signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The kinetic interaction between TDN-apt and AChE was studied and the practical applicability of the as-developed SPMD toward real samples was validated using serum samples from patients with Alzheimer's disease. This work not only presented a feasible SPMD solution toward low-abundance proteins in complex samples and but also was envisioned to inspire more interest in the design and implementation of synergized DNA nanostructure-ultrasmall nanopore systems for future SPMD development.

30. Predictive potential of preoperative Naples prognostic score-based nomogram model for the prognosis in surgical resected thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients

- Abstract
The present study aimed to establish an effective prognostic nomogram model based on the Naples prognostic score (NPS) for resectable thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). A total of 277 patients with ESCC, who underwent standard curative esophagectomy and designated as study cohort, were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into different groups, including NPS 0, NPS 1, NPS 2, and NPS 3 or 4 groups, for further analysis, and the results were validated in an external cohort of 122 ESCC patients, who underwent surgery at another cancer center. In our multivariate analysis of the study cohort showed that the TNM stage, SIS, and NPS were the independent prognostic factors for the OS and PFS durations. In addition, the differential grade was also an independent prognostic factor for the OS in the patients with ESCC after surgery (all P CI0.676-0.795, P CI0.786-0.884, P CI 0.675–0.793, P CI 0.805–0.896, P < 0.001) respectively. The above independent predictors for OS or PFS were all selected in the nomogram model. The C-indices of the nomogram model for predicting the OS and PFS were 0.718 [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.681–0.755] and 0.669 (95%CI 0.633–0.705), respectively, which were higher than that of the7th edition of AJCC TNM staging system[C-index 0.598 (95%CI 0.558–0.638) for OS and 0.586 (95%CI 0.546–0.626) for PFS]. The calibration curves for predicting the 5-year OS or PFS showed a good agreement between the prediction by nomogram and actual observation. In the external validation cohort, the nomogram discrimination for OS was better than that of the 7th edition of TNM staging systems [C-index: 0.697 (95% CI 0.639–0.755) vs 0.644 (95% CI 0.589–0.699)]. The calibration curves showed good consistency in predicting the 5-year survival between the actual observation and nomogram predictions. The decision curve also showed a higher potential of the clinical application of predicting the 5-years OS of the proposed nomogram model as compared to that of the 7th edition of TNM staging systems. In conclusion, the preoperative NPS-based nomogram model had a certain potential role for predicting the prognosis of ESCC patients.

Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), a typical two-dimensional transition metallic layered material, attracts tremendous attentions in the electrochemical energy storage due to its excellent physicochemical properties. However, with the deepening of the research and exploration of the lithium storage mechanism of these advanced MoS2-based anode materials, the complex reaction process influenced by internal and external factors hinders the exhaustive understanding of the lithium storage process. To design stable anode material with high performance, it is urgent to review the mechanisms of reported anode materials and summarize the related factors that influence the reaction processes. This review aims to dissect all possible side reactions during charging and discharging process, uncover internal and external factors inducing various anode reactions and finally put forward strategies of controlling high cycling capacity and super-stable lithium storage capability of MoS2. This review will be helpful to the design of MoS2-based lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) with excellent cycle performance to enlarge the application fields of these advanced electrochemical energy storage devices.

One-dimensional ultrathin nanowires (NWs) offer a great deal of promising properties for electrochemical energy storage and conversion due to their nanoscale confinement effect and high surface-to-volume ratios. It is highly desirable to precisely design and synthesize ultrathin Ti3C2 NWs in the aspect of size, crystalline structure and composition. Here, we report a simple alkalization strategy to design the ultrathin Ti3C2 NWs for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) by modulating the surface-active sites. The design principle can well improve the amount of the defect sites and ion accessibility to increase the interactions between Ti3C2 NWs and H*. The optimized Ti3C2 NWs achieve an overpotential of 476 mV at the current density of 10 mA/cm2 and a Tafel slope of 129 mV/dec for HER catalysis, which are superior to that of Ti3C2 nanosheets and m-Ti3C2. It paves an avenue for the rational transformation of MXene bulks to one-dimensional NWs catalysts for HER.

The aim of this research was to investigate the role of hyaluronan-binding protein 1 (HABP1) in lung adenocarcinoma. It was demonstrated by bioinformatics analysis that HABP1 was one of the differentially expressed genes in lung adenocarcinoma. Then, it was confirmed by qPCR, western blot, and immunohistochemistry analysis that HABP1 was upregulated in human tissue specimens we collected. Survival analysis showed that HABP1 was promised to serve as a new biomarker to predict the progress and prognosis of lung adenocarcinoma patients. In addition, we further studied the effects of regulating the expression of HABP1 on lung adenocarcinoma cells, indicating that altered expression of HABP1 could adjust cell proliferation and invasion through the NFκB signaling pathway.

Single-cell protein therapeutics is expected to promote our in-depth understanding of how does a specific protein with therapeutic dosing treat the cell without population averaging. However, it has not yet been tackled by current single-cell nanotools. We address this challenge by utilization of a double-barrel nanopipette, in which one lumen was used for electroosmotic cytosolic protein delivery and the other was customized for ionic evaluation of the consequence. Upon injection of protein DJ-1 via delivery lumen, upregulation of the antioxidant protein could protect neural PC-12 cells against oxidative stress from phorbol myristate acetate exposure, which could be transduced by targeting the cytosolic hydrogen peroxide by the detecting lumen. This work has devised a nanotool for single-cell protein therapeutics and provided a perspective for futuristic single-cell therapeutics involving different therapeutic modalities e.g. peptides, enzymes and nucleic acids.

Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and other characterization methods are used to characterize the complexes formed by cyclopentano- cucurbit[6]uril (abbreviated as CyP6Q[6]) as a host interacting with p-aminobenzenesulfonamide (G1), 4,4'-diaminobiphenyl (G2), and (E)-4,4'-diamino-1,2-diphenylethene (G3) as guests, respectively. The experimental results show that these three aromatic amine molecules have the same interaction mode with CyP6Q[6], interacting with its negatively electric potential portals. The supramolecular interactions include non-covalent interactions of hydrogen bonding and ion-dipole between host and guest molecules. CdCl2 acts as a structureinducing agent to form self-assemblies of multi-dimensional and multi-level supramolecular frameworks that may have potential applications in various functional materials.

To achieve high solar energy utilization efficiency, photothermal materials with broadband absorption of sunlight and high conversion efficiency are becoming a fast-growing research focus. Inspired by the forest structure with efficient sunlight utilization, we designed and fabricated a graphene film consisting of densely arranged porous graphene though laser scribing on polybenzoxazine resin (poly(Ph-ddm)). This hierarchical structure significantly reduced the light reflection of graphene as a 2D material. With a combination of advanced photothermal conversion properties of graphene, the 3D structured graphene film, named forest-like laser-induced graphene (forest-like LIG), was endowed with a very high light absorption of 99.0% over the whole wavelength range of sunlight as well as advanced light-to-heat conversion performance (reaching up to 87.7 °C within 30 s under the illumination of simulated sunlight and showing an equilibrium temperature of 90.7 ± 0.4 °C). As a further benefit of its superhydrophobicity, a photothermal actuator with quick actuated response and high motion velocity, as well as a solar-driven interfacial desalination membrane with durable salt-rejecting properties and high solar evaporation efficiencies, was demonstrated.

The hydrothermal reaction among Zn(NO3)2 · 6H2O, 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3BTC), and 7-hydroxy-5-methyl-1,3,4-triazaindolizine (Hmtpo) synthesized a fresh complex of [Zn(HBTC)(HATAZ)(H2O)2]n · 2n(H2O) · n(Hmtpo) (1, HATAZ is 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole). This supramolecular framework showed intense luminescence emission at RT. For treating diabetic ocular complications, the preventive and therapeutic effects of the compound on diabetic ocular complications were analyzed, and the detailed mechanism was investigated. ELISA was conducted to examine the inflammatory cytokines generated through the fundus arterial endothelial cells. Furthermore, RT-PCR was carried out to determine the oxidative stress level in the fundus arterial endothelial cells.

Although laser-induced graphene (LIG) has great advantages in the cost and manufacturing process, it has been seldom reported in the field of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding due to its unobtrusive conductivity and the limitation of inherent substrates. In this work, polybenzoxazine is chosen as precursor to fabricate the LIG via a one-step defocused lasing process. As a result of favorable porous structures and high conductivity, the as-produced LIG exhibits the EMI shielding effectiveness up to 24.8 dB in X-band at the thickness of 68 μm. And the EMI shielding effectiveness of LIG/Fe3O4 composite is increased to 32.7 dB at a smaller thickness of 53 μm which is obtained by a solvent-free approach. When considering the thickness and lightweight properties, the absolute shielding effectiveness is also surpassing most of the other carbon-based shielding materials. More importantly, taking advantage of the difference in the thermal expansion coefficient of carbon material and polymeric substrate, we develop a rapid quench-peeling (RQP) strategy for the separation of LIG from polymeric substrate to obtain the free-standing LIG film. Moreover, the structures and properties of LIG are well preserved. The free-standing LIG films after peeling have wider adaptability in practical EMI shielding applications, and also opened up possibilities for use in other fields, such as Joule heating device.

Nowadays, the emerging photoelectrochemical (PEC) bioanalysis has drawn intensive interest due to its numerous merits. As one of its core elements, functional nanostructured materials play a crucial role during the construction of PEC biosensors, which can not only be employed as transducers but also act as signal probes. Although both chemical composition and morphology control of nanostructured materials contribute to the excellent analytical performance of PEC bioassay, surveys addressing nanostructures with different dimensionality have rarely been reported. In this review, according to classification based on dimensionality, zero-dimensional, one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional nanostructures used in PEC bioanalysis are evaluated, with an emphasis on the effect of morphology on the detection performances. Furthermore, using the illustration of recent works, related novel PEC biosensing patterns with promising applications are also discussed. Finally, the current challenges and some future perspectives in this field are addressed based on our opinions.

This study aimed to translate, cross-culturally adapt, and preliminarily test the psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the OrbachMikulincer Mental Pain Scale (OMMP).Psychometric investigation was performed on 240 depressed patients. The reliability of the Chinese version of the OMMP scale was expressed by internal consistency reliability and test-retest reliability (2-week interval), and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) on the 8-factor, 31-item OMMP was conducted to examine the construct validity.The CFA showed that the modified model with 31 items had good reliability (Cronbach's α range = 0.691-0.871; ICC = 0.818). Criterion-related validity was also supported by significant and positive correlations between the eight factors and worst-ever suicidal ideation as well as depressive symptoms.The results indicated the usefulness of the OMMP-31 for Chinese depressed patients. It is necessary to estimate psychological pain to improve suicide management in the clinical setting.

49. Research status, hotspots and trends of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease: A bibliometric analysis

Acupuncture and moxibustion (AM) are utilized to treat Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, no bibliometric analysis has explored this issue. Thus, this study investigated the status, hotspots and trends of AM in the treatment of AD.CiteSpace and VOSviewer softwares were used to analyze the literature on the AM for AD in the Web of Science Core Collection database. We analyzed the data of countries/regions, institutions, journals, authors, keywords, and cited references.After removing duplicates, 193 articles were retrieved. The number of publications on this topic has increased gradually. The most productive and collaborative country was China (143 documents), followed by South Korea (19). The top 3 active academic institutions were Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Capital Medicine University, and Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. The most productive journal was Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine (13 documents), followed by the Frontiers in Aging Neuroscience (10), Medicine (10), and Neural Regeneration Research (10). The top 3 co-cited journals were Evidence-based Complementary and Alternative Medicine (156 citations), Acupuncture Electro-therapeutics Research (152), and Acupuncture in Medicine (146). The research hotspots in this domain are dementia, memory, hippocampus, mouse models, and Parkinson's disease. Major frontiers are comparing the therapeutic effects of acupuncture and donepezil and electroacupuncture at different frequencies in this field.This bibliometric study identified relevant hotspots and trends in research on AM in the treatment of AD, which can provide researchers with key information in this domain and help further explore new research directions.

Introduction Dialectical behavior therapy(DBT) has been widely used for borderline personality disorder(BPD). Existing studies are limited to behaviors such as self-harm , and the results for reducing self-harm were controversial. Few have systematically evaluated the effect of DBT on self-harming behaviors and negative emotions. Aim This study aims to evaluate the effects of DBT on self-harming behaviors and negative emotions in patients with BPD. Methods RCTs on DBT for BPD were searched from PubMed, Embase, etc., and the results were performed by RevMan 5.3. Results The meta-analysis demonstrated that DBT reduced self-harming behaviors, and alleviated depression, but had a negligible effect on suicidal ideation and anger. One subgroup revealed that standard DBT improved depression significantly, but DBT skills trainning improved poorly. Another subgroup revealed that there was a significant reduction in depression among patients receiving DBT for 4 months to 14 months, but not at 4 months. Discussion and implications for practice Findings indicate that DBT can reduce self-harming behaviors and improve depression, but effects on suicidal ideation and anger are insignificant. Subgroup analysis suggests that standard DBT and DBT-ST lasting beyond 4 months benefits on BPD. Given the quality and quantity restrictions of RCTs, more high-quality RCTs need to verify these effects.
