It is demonstrated that, by using the electronic reconstruction of ultrathin Bi2WO6 (BWO) nanosheets with graphene quantum dots (GQDs) upon a unique process of laser irradiation in liquid (LAL), a kind of GQDs modified BWO nanosheets under metastable state were synthesized, which performed excellent visible‐light piezo‐photocatalytic organics degradation. Furthermore, using commercial cpolyacrylamids (PAM) as the additional materials, a kind of electronic reconstruction GQDs‐BWO nanosheets hydrogel was achieved by dispersed the functionalized powders into a super absorbent polymers (SAPs) system upon in situ polymerization method, which showed that it is a bracing idea to use SAPs for water decontamination reactors to enable full use of vibration energy synergistic with light of nature to driven pollution degradation. First‐principles calculation was also simultanously performed in this study. This study may provide a new enlightenment on fabricating novel 2D nanomaterials hydrogel for efficient effluent purification and potentially other environmental or energy applications. Abstract: Alumina (Al2O3) ceramics were prepared with nucleating agent of titania (TiO2) and fluxing agent of talc by the normal pressure sintering method. The effects of TiO2 and talc on phase composition, microstructure, and mechanical properties of Al2O3 ceramics, as well the strengthening and toughening mechanism were investigated. It was found that the introduction of TiO2 could be favorable for mullite formation and the improved densification of ceramics, resulting in improved mechanical properties of ceramics as well. Ceramics possess the best comprehensive mechanical performance with fracture toughness of 3.69 MPa·m1/2 and flexural strength of 255.9 MPa when 4 wt.% TiO2 and 15 wt.% talc were added. Mineral bridges and nanocrystallites were found in the glass‐ceramics, which caused the deflection of cracks so that it strengthened the grain boundary and improved the mechanical properties of ceramics. One-lung ventilation (OLV) during thoracic surgery often leads to post-operative complications, yet effective pharmacological interventions are lacking. This study reports a baicalin-based metal-coordination nanomedicine with disulfiram (DSF) co-loading to address one-lung ventilation-induced lung injury and reperfusion injury (OLV-LIRI). Baicalin, known for its robust antioxidant properties, suffers from poor water solubility and stability. Leveraging nanotechnology, baicalin's coordination is systematically explored with seven common metal ions, designing iron/copper-mediated binary coordination nanoparticles to overcome these limitations. The self-assembled nanoparticles, primarily formed through metal coordination and π-π stacking forces, encapsulated DSF, ensuring high colloidal stability in diverse physiological matrices. Upon a single-dose administration via endotracheal intubation, the nanoparticles efficiently accumulate in lung tissues and swiftly penetrate the pulmonary mucosa. Intracellularly, baicalin exhibits free radical scavenging activity to suppress inflammation. Concurrently, the release of Cu 2+ and DSF enables the in situ generation of CuET, a potent inhibitor of cell pyroptosis. Harnessing these multifaceted mechanisms, the nanoparticles alleviate lung injury symptoms without notable toxic side effects, suggesting a promising preventive strategy for OLV-LIRI., (© 2024 Wiley‐VCH GmbH.)
