Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the connection between handwashing and toothbrushing, focusing on eating habits, and to verify whether eating habits can be used as an action cue for forming health habits. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study using secondary data from the 2019 community health survey. The participants included 229,099 adults aged 19 years or older, representative of the South Korean people. We employed two dependent variables: one was washing hands, and the other was brushing teeth. Eating habits was a major independent variable. Socioeconomic variables, such as age, gender, income, occupation, economic activity, education, and residence were adjusted as confounders. Multivariate logistic regression was performed to calculate adjusted odds ratio and 95% confidence intervals. Results: Most of the participants had good health behaviors: those who wash their hands and brush their teeth were each approximately 80%. Our finding indicated that brushing teeth and washing hands can be connected with eating habits. After adjusting for confounders, it was found that people who wash their hands before meals (compared to those who did not wash their hands before meals) had a higher toothbrushing rate after meals (i.e., socioeconomic status) (Adjusted Odds Ratio: 2.0, Confidence Intervals: 1.9 to 2.1). Conclusion: Those who practice either washing hands before meals or brushing teeth after meals were found to have a connection between washing hands and brushing teeth based on the results of practicing other health behaviors. This implies that eating habits can be connected as a behavior cue to promote health habits, such as washing hands before meals and brushing teeth after meals.

Objective To investigate the awareness of measures for regular epidemic prevention and control among the patients with COVID-19 in makeshift hospital. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted on a total of 403 patients with COVID-19 who were admitted to in makeshift hospital located in National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from April 20 to May 19 of 2022. Questionnaire was made and collected by the Questionnaire Star Platform. Groups were divided by the gender, age and educational background to analyze whether or not patients with COVID-19 had differences in knowledge and implementation of wearing masks, timing of hand-washing, hygiene habits and implementation of item disinfection. Results The males had relatively negative performance in wearing masks while sleeping (Chi-square=8.281, P < 0.05, OR: 2.301, 95%CI: 1.283~4.127). Patients with different educational backgrounds had significant differences in the length of wearing masks(Chi-square=10.773, P < 0.05, OR=1.330, 95%CI: 1.104~1.603), the number of wearing masks(Chi-square=12.455, P < 0.05, OR=1.369, 95%CI: 1.091~1.717)and the number of people eating at the same time(Chi-square=9.861, P < 0.05, OR=0.796, 95%CI: 0.663~0.956). The 2 items that were wearing masks during communication (Chi-square=8.802, P < 0.05, OR=1.295, 95%CI: 0.820~2.047) and touching mouth and nose without washing hands(Chi-square=10.078, P < 0.05, OR=1.183, 95%CI: 0.962~1.455) had statistical significance in different age groups. It was found that the implementation of washing hands after touching others and wiping daily objects was not good. Conclusion The patients involved in this study have relatively poor understanding in the items of the number wearing masks, the length and timing of wearing masks, the timing of washing hands and touching mouth and nose without washing hands.

Introduction Since the beginning of Coronavirus pandemic, the world is facing huge challenges for the prevention of mass infection. Studies shows that wearing facemasks and hand washing seems to be the best protection from disease transmission. Indeed, the spread of SARS-CoV-2 was efficaciously controlled in countries where mask wearing is respected. However, such recommendations may not be easily established with inpatients with mental disorders due to limited ability to embrace instructions. Objectives The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of facemasks and hand’s wash among inpatients with mental disorders during coronavirus pandemic in a psychiatric hospital in Tunisia. Methods This hospital-based cross-sectional study was conducted from September to October 2021 among thirty hospitalized inpatients in a psychiatric department suffering from schizophrenia. All patients responded to an anonymous questionnaire about mask wearing and washing hands status. Knowledge about COVID-19 was assessed by a 6-item questionnaire inspired from a Corean study. Results Preliminary findings showed that most patients are aware of covid-19 pandemic and about barrier gestures but only a very few (less than 20%) wear masks. Inpatients with schizophrenia were in most cases not afraid from covid-19 contamination within the hospital and less that 50% were vaccinated. Conclusions During a pandemic, psychiatric departments needs an extra attention because of the high-risk of spreading infections in inpatients with mental diseases. Communication has to be clearer, and repeated assistance by correctly reminding measures has to be implanted above all for patients with schizophrenia. Disclosure No significant relationships.

PROTECTION motivation theory , *SOCIAL distancing , *EMERGENCY management , *MULTIPLE regression analysis , *BEHAVIORAL assessment , *RISK perception - Abstract
This study examined changes in COVID-19 preventive behaviors, including social distancing and hand washing behaviors and related cognitive variables derived from the protection motivation theory and the focus theory of normative conduct. We examined the relationships between preventive behaviors and cognitive variables. We conducted eight panel surveys among Tokyo residents via the internet, each targeting approximately 1,000 people between April-May 2020 and January 2021. The panel survey data indicated that social distancing behaviors decreased immediately after the first state of emergency has been lifted compared to during the emergency period. Moreover, there was no increase in social distancing behaviors during the second emergency period. Hierarchical multiple regression analyses showed that injunctive norms were associated with the social distancing behaviors at all assessment time points. Furthermore, the effect of risk perception was not large. We have discussed the relationship between emergency declarations and behavioral changes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Regardless of the advocacies made by the media and numerous organizations about the need for preventing the spread of COVID-19, there still exists a gap as far as compliance to regular implementation of the preventive mechanisms within communities is concerned. The purpose of the present study was, therefore, to examine compliance to personal protective behavioral recommendations to contain the spread of COVID-19 among urban residents engaged in the informal economic activities in Wolaita Sodo town, Southern Ethiopia. A cross-sectional study design was used where quantitative data were collected through the survey research method. Three hundred and eighty-four participants of the urban-based informal economy were randomly selected and contacted in their own natural settings with an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Data were inserted into SPSS software for analysis that involved both descriptive and inferential statistics, including frequency and percentage distributions, binomial and multinomial logistic regressions. The results of the research indicated that only 35.4% of the respondents regularly wore a mask. In addition, 54.9% of the survey participants disclosed that they do not clean their hands with disinfectants after touching objects under circumstances where they cannot get access to water and soap. Moreover, the most commonly reported reason of respondents for non-compliance to regular wearing of a mask has been its inconvenience or discomfort (62.8%), followed by the need to appear indifferent because most people around them do not wear a mask (25.2%). Furthermore, experiences of the respondents of regularly wearing a mask are significantly associated with regular attendance of the media regarding the preventive mechanisms of COVID-19 (OR = 0.224; P < 0.001; 95%C.I: 0.109–0.460), knowledge of someone ever infected by COVID-19 (OR = 0.402; P < 0.05; 95%C.I: 0.190–0.851), the belief that COVID-19 causes a severe illness (OR = 0.444; P < 0.05; 95%C.I: 0.201–0.980), and perception of the likelihood of dying as a result of infection by COVID-19 (OR = 0.374; P < 0.01; 95% C.I: 0.197–0.711). The authors have found a low level of compliance to the recommended safety measures, especially wearing of masks. It is, therefore, important that continued efforts of raising awareness should be done by all the concerned bodies. Above all, urban safety net programs that aim at keeping such social groups at home, at least during the critical wave of the pandemic, should also be strengthened.

Introduction: Infections with multidrug resistant organisms that spread through nosocomial transmission complicate the care of combat casualties. Missions conducted to review infection prevention and control (IPC) practices at deployed medical treatment facilities (MTFs) previously showed gaps in best practices and saw success with targeted interventions. An IPC review has not been conducted since 2012. Recently, an IPC review was requested in response to an outbreak of multidrug resistant organisms at a deployed facility.Materials and Methods: A Joint Service team conducted onsite IPC reviews of MTFs in the U.S. Central Command area of operations. Self-assessments were completed by MTF personnel in anticipation of the onsite assessment, and feedback was given individually and at monthly IPC working group teleconferences. Goals of the onsite review were to assist MTF teams in conducting assessments, review practices for challenges and successes, provide on the spot education or risk mitigation, and identify common trends requiring system-wide action. Results: Nine deployed MTFs participated in the onsite assessments, including four Role 3, three Role 2 capable of surgical support, and two Role 1 facilities. Seventy-eight percent of sites had assigned IPC officers although only 43% underwent required predeployment training. Hand hygiene and healthcare associated infection prevention bundles were monitored at 67% and 29% of MTFs, respectively. Several challenges including variability in practices with turnover of deployed teams were noted. Successes highlighted included individual team improvements in healthcare associated infections and mentorship of untrained personnel. Conclusions: Despite successes, ongoing challenges with optimal deployed IPC were noted. Recommendations for improvement include strengthening IPC culture, accountability, predeployment training, and stateside support for deployed IPC assets. Variability in IPC practices may occur from rotation to rotation, and regular reassessment is required to ensure that successes are sustained through times of turnover. International audience; Since the emergence of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), more than 165 million people have been infected all around the world (as of May 2021). The COVID-19 virus is highly contagious, especially in large crowded spaces. To prevent the infection and slow the transmission of the virus, the World Health Organization recommends wearing a mask, washing hands regularly, and maintaining a distance of at least one meter between people. To support this prevention, we propose a connected object based on LoRa technology to monitor the social distancing of one meter between people in queues. The proposed system uses infrared array sensor MLX60940 to detect people through their body temperature. Based on this output, we developed an algorithm to verify social distancing. The main advantage of this node is its ability to preserve the privacy of detected people and consume less energy compared to camera-based systems. Experimental results show that the proposed node can detect up to six persons per queue with an accuracy of 93% when the distance between people is below 80 cm.

Objective Our goal for this study was to quantify healthcare provider compliance with hand hygiene protocols and develop a conceptual framework for increasing hand hygiene compliance in a low-resource neonatal intensive care unit. Materials and Methods We developed a 3-phase intervention that involved departmental discussion, audit, and follow-up action. A 4-month unobtrusive audit during night and day shifts was performed. The audit results were presented, and a conceptual framework of barriers to and solutions for increasing hand hygiene compliance was developed collectively. Results A total of 1308 hand hygiene opportunities were observed. Among 1227 planned patient contacts, hand-washing events (707 [58.6%]), hand rub events (442 [36%]), and missed hand hygiene (78 [6.4%]) events were observed. The missed hand hygiene rate was 20% during resuscitation. Missed hand hygiene opportunities occurred 3.2 times (95% confidence interval, 1.9–5.3 times) more often during resuscitation procedures than during planned contact and 6.14 times (95% confidence interval, 2.36–16.01 times) more often when providers moved between patients. Structural and process determinants of hand hygiene noncompliance were identified through a root-cause analysis in which all members of the neonatal intensive care unit team participated. The mean hand-washing duration was 40 seconds. In 83% of cases, drying hands after washing was neglected. Hand recontamination after hand-washing was seen in 77% of the cases. Washing up to elbow level was observed in 27% of hand-wash events. After departmental review of the study results, hand rubs were placed at each bassinet to address these missed opportunities. Conclusions Hand hygiene was suboptimal during resuscitation procedures and between patient contacts. We developed a conceptual framework for improving hand hygiene through a root-cause analysis. HAND washing (Jewish rite) , *JEWS , *FOOD habits - Abstract
According to UBS5 and NA28, Mark 7.3 says that Pharisees and other Jews do not eat unless they rinse their hands 'with a fist' (πυγμῇ). This notorious crux interpretum has resisted all efforts to give it a plausible meaning. The present article reviews these efforts and suggests that it is time to abandon this reading in favour of the variant reading πυκνά in the sense 'repeatedly'. This translation best fits the practice described in the Mishnah and other rabbinic literature, in which devout Jews rinsed their hands twice before the meal, twice after, and often twice or more during. The outbreak of deadliest and most widespread Ebola virus disease (EVD) in West African countries was not only unexpected but also sudden in places like Nigeria. The epidemic was an indication of weak health systems characterised by inadequate precautions and low knowledge of containment. Although Nigeria was able to contain EVD much earlier, people's perception, which also influenced their responses, might enhance the spread and retard containment. This study utilized 25 in-depth interviews conducted with commercial motorcycle–taxi (Okada) riders in key locations in Ibadan, Oyo state, to document their perception about EVD outbreak. Series of sociocultural practices such as handshaking, hugging and embracement identified were favourable to transmission of EVD and affected containment. Regular handwashing was difficult and not cost-effective to practice. The perceived trust in God's intervention could make treatment seeking and prevention slower to achieve. The potential of sociocultural practices, such as handshaking and hugging, as driver for transmission of EVD may influence the perception of motorcycle–taxi riders in the prevention and containment activities in Nigeria. Hence, understanding people's perception on handwashing practices, hugging and butchering of bushmeat should be given priority in designing programmes of EVD prevention and control in Nigeria. Background: Medical students being the doctors of tomorrow play very important role in community health awareness, especially in emergency situation like Covid 19. This research was under taken to study the knowledge, attitude and practices of medical students regarding COVID 19 pandemic. Material and method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted in the month of May, 2021, among medical students. A 33-item web-based survey questionnaire was developed to assess knowledge, attitude and practice among the medical students. Results: Total 342 valid responses were studied. Male to female ratio was 0.93 in the subjects. Common sources of information about COVID-19 were internet, social media and television. Most of the medical students were aware of the common modes of spread of infection. 80.7 % knew the correct incubation period. Only 35.1 percent of students thought that mild form of disease is most common. Nearly all knew that washing hands and wearing mask are important measures for prevention from COVID-19. Most of them feel that disease is dangerous (91.5%) and 43.3% are scared to do hospital work. This work examines a mathematical model of COVID-19 among two subgroups: low-risk and high-risk populations with two preventive measures; non-pharmaceutical interventions including wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and washing hands regularly by the low-risk group. In addition to the interventions mentioned above, high-risk individuals must take extra precaution measures, including telework, avoiding social gathering or public places, etc. to reduce the transmission. Those with underlying chronic diseases and the elderly (ages 60 and above) were classified as high-risk individuals and the rest as low-risk individuals. The parameter values used in this study were estimated using the available data from the Johns Hopkins University on COVID-19 for Brazil and South Africa. We evaluated the effective reproduction number for the two countries and observed how the various parameters affected the effective reproduction number. We also performed numerical simulations and analysis of the model. Susceptible and infectious populations for both low-risk and high-risk individuals were studied in detail. Results were displayed in both graphical and table forms to show the dynamics of each country being studied. We observed that non-pharmaceutical interventions by high-risk individuals significantly reduce infections among only high-risk individuals. In contrast, non-pharmaceutical interventions by low-risk individuals have a significant reduction in infections in both subgroups. Therefore, low-risk individuals’ preventive actions have a considerable effect on reducing infections, even among high-risk individuals.

Objectives We aimed to investigate whether the implementation of personal protective measures against coronavirus disease 2019 reduced the transmission of influenza-like illnesses. Methods We followed 758 international students from 95 countries located in five continents from October 2020 to March 2021. Their frequency of wearing masks, social distancing, washing hands, and avoiding crowded places as well as their reported cases of influenza-like illnesses were examined. We used Kaplan-Meier analysis to compare the occurrence of symptoms of influenza-like illnesses among participants who adhered with those who did not adhere to the personal protective measures. Results From October 2020 to March 2021, 139 (18%) students reported symptoms of influenza-like illnesses. The survival analysis showed that students who frequently wore face masks, exercised physical distancing, and disinfected their hands had a reduced risk of influenza-like illnesses. We found a two-fold increased risk of influenza-like illnesses among participants who did not implement all the personal protective measures as compared with those who adhered to the measures (Hazard ratio=2.16, 95%CI=1.53-3.05, P

Maintaining health is very important to be applied from an early age, especially during the covid-19 pandemic. This is important because children are prone to disease because their immune system is not as strong as adults in general. This study aims to present and describe the implementation of healthy living behaviors of early childhood during the covid-19 pandemic. This research includes a type of field research with a qualitative approach. The data source uses primary data in interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires—data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study show that the implementation of healthy living behaviors of early childhood has been carried out well following the proposal of the Directorate of Paud Development in 2020 on four healthy living behaviors in schools, namely: washing hands with soap, drinking water, and eating healthy and hygienic food, as well as disposing of waste in its place and keeping the environment clean and safe.

One of the recommended solutions to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak is the implementation of health protocols, such as washing hands, wearing masks, maintaining social distance, staying away from crowds, and reducing mobility. However, the implementation of health protocols has raised philosophical questions on the meaning of personal freedom. Do health protocols limit or even hinder a person's freedom? This paper aims to look at the meaning of personal freedom in dealing with health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on literature studies, the author tries to redefine individual freedom in the context of dealing with a pandemic. Personal freedom is placed in the context of the spirit and efforts to tackle the problems of this pandemic together.

Background Personal glucose meters, primarily designed for self-control of glucose concentration in patients with diabetes, are frequently used in clinical practice as point-of-care equipment. The procedure of washing hands with water and soap before testing, as recommended by the manufacturer of personal glucose meters, in hospital wards is often difficult to fulfil and is replaced by disinfecting the place of blood sampling with isopropyl alcohol. Aim The purpose of the research was to evaluate the effect of different disinfecting procedures on glycemia measurement in capillary blood using personal glucose meters. Materials and methods Four measurements of glycemia were taken in each of 50-volunteer group using Accu-Check Performa (Roche, Swiss) glucose meter using different procedures: washing hands with soap and drying them (1), disinfection with isopropyl alcohol and waiting for the disinfectant to evaporate (2) and the immediate puncture after disinfection. In the latter case two kind of single-use lancets were use – typical for adult (3) and smaller preferred by diabetics or children (4). Results Paired T-student test showed no statistically significant difference between measurements 1st and 2nd 95% CI (−4.282 to 0.322), p = 0.09. However, the comparison between 1st/3rd and 1st/4th showed statistically significant difference, 95% CI (−4.964 to −0.796), p = 0,0077 (p Conclusions The procedure of disinfection when fluid completely evaporates has no effect on glucose measurements. Sampling the wet finger influences results of glucose measurement but observed changes were clinically irrelevant.

Millions of dollars have been spent on the design and dissemination of educational materials to improve handwashing to prevent infectious diseases. School-age children have been the focus of many of these efforts; yet little is known about the content of these materials. This study uses content analysis to examine the theoretical and motivational trends as well as the communication approach used in a sample of hand hygiene intervention materials targeting elementary-age children. Two trained coders analyzed 144 communication materials. Study results indicate that educational materials infrequently exhibit information consistent with theories of communication for behavior change, commonly use fear-based messaging, and rarely recommend using technology in the design of the interventions. Implications for future research and the design of more strategic, child-focused hand hygiene interventions are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: The use of antibiotic stewardship programmes (ASPs) is increasing in Asia, but their effectiveness in reducing antibiotic consumption and their impact on clinical outcomes is not known. Objectives: To determine the impact of ASPs conducted in Asia on the consumption of antibiotics and on patients' clinical outcomes. Methods: We systematically searched the Embase and Medline (PubMed) databases for studies that compared antibiotic consumption or clinical outcomes of patients in an Asian hospital or clinic with an ASP (intervention) with those in a similar setting without an ASP (control). Meta-analyses of all-cause mortality and hospital- acquired infection (HAI) were performed using random-effects models. Results: The search identified 77 studies of which 22 and 19 reported antibiotic usage and cost, respectively. Among these, 20 (91%) studies reported reduced antibiotic usage and 19 (100%) reported cost savings in the intervention group. Duration of antibiotic therapy was reduced in six of seven studies in association with an ASP. Rates of all-cause mortality and HAI were not significantly different between the intervention and control groups. However, mortality rates were significantly improved by ASPs using drug monitoring, while HAI rates were also improved by ASPs that included infection control or hand hygiene programmes. Conclusions: In Asia, ASPs reduce antibiotic consumption in hospital and clinic settings and do not worsen clinical outcomes. The findings strongly support the broad implementation of antimicrobial stewardship interventions in hospital and clinic settings in Asia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Every educational institution, both state and private, has the same main task and is important in carrying out lecture activities. These three main tasks are in the form of lecture or academic activities, research activities, and community service activities. These three main activities are commonly referred to as Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To carry out these three activities or Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, health and safety are needed at work. It is known today that all parts of the world have experienced the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19. This has a very direct impact on the process of implementing Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak, the actual action is needed that can prevent the transmission of the Covid virus outbreak. The government through the Ministry of Health issued 3M guidelines in preventing and reducing the spread of the Covid virus outbreak. 3M stands for wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping your distance. However, 3M is not enough, there need to be other actions to prevent and reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak in safeguarding all the academics and students of the Cilacap State Polytechnic. One of the other forms of efforts taken in handling the spread of the Covid outbreak in the Cilacap State Polytechnic environment is the manufacture of WHO standard disinfectants and the holding of regular disinfectant spraying.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has caught the attention of not only Indonesia but the rest of the world. The 3M movement, namely using masks, washing hands and keeping a distance to minimize the transmission of tuberculosis, is very useful for the eradication of TB tuberculosis. However, this is a challenge in itself for microscopic officers at the Microscopic Reference Center (MRC) in education and handling of sputum for tuberculosis patients who are currently being treated. The purpose of this study was to test VisKomLAM 1, 2, 3 and 4 in bridging communication between officers in sputum management education for tuberculosis sufferers at each examination during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research locations took MRC Tuminting, Wawonasa and Tikala Baru in Manado City and MRC Telaga in Gorontalo District. Analysis with paired t test showed a significance below 5%, which means that VisKomLAM 1, 2, 3 and 4 can bridge education from officers to tuberculosis sufferers in the Covid-19 pandemic era. It is recommended that health workers always strive to promote tuberculosis health in achieving tuberculosis elimination by 2050.

“Shedder status” or “shedder type” are commonly used terms that categorise an individual based on their ability to deposit “touch” DNA via direct contact with a surface. However, it is not yet clear how best to categorise an individual into a shedder class, or how to allocate a shedder score on a sliding scale. This study considers categorisation of participants into discrete shedder categories based on DNA quantity and profile quality data, the maintenance of their shedder status over an extended period, and explores whether different methods of deposition or collection directly from hands or other body areas are interchangeable and/or more appropriate means of determining an individual’s shedder status. The shedder categorisation of participants was possible from their handprints and remained unchanged over three years. Washing hands had limited impact and shedder categorisation was not readily possible from samples collected directly from hands, other body areas or gloves after wearing gloves for a set duration. Use of consecutive deposits may assist in establishing a participant’s shedder status. As shedder categorisation may be of relevance during activity level assessments further efforts towards the ability to do so are necessary.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought forward the challenge of dispersing accurate medical information to the public rapidly. Credible and non-credible sources may impact public reactions to the virus. The purpose of this study is to assess those reactions of women located in or near Kansas. A survey was conducted in July 2020 with questions on knowledge of COVID-19, attitudes and behaviors towards COVID-19, and primary sources of information. 305 survey respondents met criteria for further analysis, and descriptive statistical analyses were applied. Participants were generally knowledgeable of the pandemic, with a mean knowledge score of 11.40 out of 13 (SD 1.3). The attitude statement with the highest rate of agreement was that "social distancing is an effective way of controlling COVID-19 spread" (n = 265, 86.9%) and that with the highest rate of disagreement was, "I am not worried about my friends' and family members health" (n = 253, 83.0%). The most-implemented behaviors as indicated by participants were avoiding contact with sick individuals and washing hands with soap and water often (n = 294, 96.4%), and the least implemented was avoiding meat consumption (n = 257, 84.3%). Finally, most participants indicated that health officials were their primary source of information (n = 215, 70.5%). Participants of this survey had fairly good knowledge of the virus. Attitudes of participants as a whole may be described as cautious without being overly fearful. Reported behaviors also align well with current public health recommendations. These responses may be reflective of where participants are receiving their information, which, for the majority, is from public health officials.

This article discusses the level of community compliance in Ponorogo district with the Covid-19 health protocol. The Covid 19 pandemic has spread on a global scale. This has implications for many sectors. In Indonesia itself has implemented the Health Protocol in every region in the regency and city. No exception in Ponorogo which also applies the health protocol. Health protocols include wearing a mask when traveling, maintaining distance and washing hands after traveling. Many impacts were felt during this pandemic. One of them is felt by traders who usually trade in the Car Free Day area who cannot sell because CFDs are eliminated. In addition, the implementation of a curfew where after 8:00 p.m. the street lights will be turned off and traders selling on the side of the road are required to close. This has led to the turnover of traders who usually open roadside stalls, especially those. even so there are still many who violate these health protocols. One of them can be seen during mask raids on motorists on the highway. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, while the theory used is the conflict of Karl Marx due to differences in interests between society and the government.
