- Abstract
The series of essays contained in this monograph are designed to probe analytically some of the major concerns associated with internships. Discussed in section one are the components of the internship triangle: colleges and universities, sponsoring agencies, and students. Five additional essays follow in section two dealing with problems in program administration: recruitment and selection, academic credit and stipends, internship financing, relating theory to practice, and program evaluation. The conclusion summarizes some philosophical concerns of internship administrators and suggests probable future prospects and trends. (Author/MSE)
