Abstract

Unbalanced natural cycles contribute to an increase in environmental and social issues as the effects of climate change are felt by the entire world community. The Covid-19 epidemic is crucial for determining how vital it is to incorporate environmental, social, and governance factors, particularly those that affect the banking industry. In emerging nations' economies, sustainable banking is now a well-known idea. Its application in Indonesian banking is influenced by additional circumstances. In this work, a mediation model that explains how a firm's reputation might relate to sustainable banking with enhancing corporate performance is developed and tested. The favorable adoption of sustainable banking improves the firm's reputation and performance, according to SEM-PLS findings using secondary data gathered from sustainability reports and annual reports for 45 issuer banks in Indonesia. 6. Effect Of Geopolitical Risk On Bitcoin’s Price From 2016-2021: Comparative Analysis Pre-During Covid-19 Pandemic Period

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The study aims to the effects of the geopolitical risks (GPR) and its components indexes on Bitcoin's price from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2021, and how covid-19 affect the GPR risk and its components on bitcoin's price. Methodology: We performed quantitative data analysis techniques such as OLS (Ordinary Least Square) and QQ Regression. The study data covers January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2021. Main Findings: OLS estimations show that Bitcoin's prices are positively and negatively related and statistically insignificant to the GPR and its components before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, respectively. However, the findings of the Quantile estimations state that the effects are positive and statistically significant at the higher quantiles of bitcoin's prices of both the GPR and its component, i.e., GPRA before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research limitations/implications: Our paper has limitations related to the adopted methodology. We use bitcoin as the dependent variable and only use two estimation models: the OLS model and Quantile Regression. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research is expected to be used as a source of information and input for investors in deciding to invest in the face of another economic recession ahead. Our findings align with Bouri et al. (2017b) and Aysan et al. (2019), which illustrate that the effects of geopolitical risk and uncertainty indicators on Bitcoin's price are negative in the baseline findings. We enhance the previous findings to observe the positive impact of geopolitical risks and their components, the Bitcoin's price at the higher quantiles, then compare analysis pre-during Covid-19.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of dividend policy determinants on dividend payment either partially or simultaneously in all industry sectors except the financing industry listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016. The factors examined in this research include profitability, leverage, growth, agency cost and firm size. Data were obtained from the relevant databases and financial statements of the sampled companies. This research examines a total of 149 companies. The results revealed that profitability and growth significantly influence dividend policy. Meanwhile, leverage, agency cost, and firm size have no significant effect on dividend policy. It is suggested that the company should always pay attention to the fundamental aspects of the company, and it may determine their dividend policies to keep attracting an investor. It is best for an investor to consider a company with high profitability, low leverage, low or high growth rates, high free cash flow, and a big firm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Hospital health management information system is an important system. This study aims to determine the application of web-based health management information systems in community health centers in Jakarta's citrus sub-district of Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive research design. Data collection using a questionnaire. From the results of the study it was found that the implementation of a web-based health management information system at the community health center in the Jakarta citrus district of Indonesia was optimal. This can be seen from the hardware, software, procedures, brainware, database and network communication technology that is used is adequate. The number of computers is categorized as sufficient because it is already available in each service unit, the internet network has supported the implementation of a health management information system at the community health center. The software used has fulfilled the standards of minimal Windows XP software and e-Community Health Center applications. Completeness of the e-Community Health Center data is categorized as adequate. The number of operators is categorized as good because it is available in each service unit. The community health center of Kebon Jeruk District, Indonesia, has a budget for maintaining hardware, software, brainware, databases and communication technology networks that are well maintained.

Abstract

The decline in ecosystems, limited natural resources, population growth and increasing economic inequality are still hot topics discussed in the last few decades. The Triple Bottom Line concept was adopted by many companies, academics, governments in many countries, including the United Nation world organization with the term Sustainability through the dimensions of Environment, Social, Governance (ESG). Sustainable Finance is a support from the financial services sector to create sustainable economic growth by aligning economic, social, and environmental interests. The OJK Regulation Number 51/POJK.03/2017 concerning the Implementation of Sustainable Finance for Financial Services Institutions, Issuers, and Public Companies. Data collection such as income statements, balance reports, literature books, reference journals and other supporting documentation such as financial reports, annual reports, and sustainability reports of banking issuers in Indonesia for the period 2019. The population of this research are banking companies in Indonesia which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses a census technique, this is because the population of the research object is not too large, which only amounts to less than 100 units. Census is a way to get the most accurate and comprehensive information. The total population in this study is 44 banking issuers. Based on the results of data processing, various significance values were obtained. Assets Quality on Financial Performance has a t statistic of 1.98 or greater than a t table of 1.684, these results indicate that the hypothesis is proven that there is an influence of Assets Quality on Financial Performance. Then also, based on the results of data processing, Rentability to Financial Performance has a t statistic of 2.50 or greater than the t table of 1.684. So that it shows that the hypothesis is proven that there is an effect of rentability on financial performance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract

Good management, supervision and control of drug supplies is very important in order to avoid loss and damage to drug supplies. The truth of accounting data and avoiding fraud can be detrimental to the hospital. This research is a type of research that is a case study at PT. Indofarma, Tbk for Drug Management at PT. Indofarma, Tbk. The purpose of this study was to determine the description and problem solving regarding information systems at PT. Indofarma, Tbk, especially the accounting information system for drug procurement and management. This study uses qualitative research with a case study method. Data obtained by conducting interviews, observations, documentation, and distributing questionnaires. The focus of this study is a drug inventory accounting system consisting of planning and determining procedures, procurement procedures, storage procedures, distribution procedures, elimination procedures and physical counting procedures. The results showed that the accounting information system for drug inventory at PT. Indofarma, Tbk was in accordance with the theoretical study. But there are still weaknesses, such as the trapping of the function of the warehouse which in addition to receiving and storing drugs. Abstract

This researh aims to analysis the effect of employer reputation and professional recognition on student interest in choosing careers become a public accountant. The research method used is quantitative with data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the Lisrel program). The results of data analysis using path analysis, obtained t = 7.42, because t> 1.96, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of employers reputation and professional recognition simultaneously on student interest in choosing careers to become public accountants meaning that there is significant and professional recognition simultaneously on students' interests in choosing careers to become public accountants.
