An increase in moisture content within GIS （gas insulated switchgear） can compromise its insulation integrity. To monitor insulation gas humidity inside GIS， a humidity sensor using dual-cone microfibers is developed. Firstly， utilizing beam propagation method （BPM）， the optical field of the dual-cone microfibers is simulated to investigate their field distribution and mode interference theory. This analysis reveals the correlation between SF6 and moisture content. Subsequently， the fused biconical taper （FBT） is used to fabricate the dual-cone microfiber humidity sensor and conduct humidity sensing experiments. Based on the experimental data， it is determined that the humidity sensor using dual-cone microfibers exhibits a detection sensitivity of -51.75 pm/%RH， enabling continuous online monitoring of humidity levels in electrical equipment.

Polarized light has promising applications in biological inspections, displays, and precise measurements. Direct emission of polarized light from a semiconductor device is highly desired in order to reduce the size and energy-consumption of the whole system. In this study, we demonstrate a semipolar GaN-based microcavity light-emitting diode (MCLED) that could simultaneously produce green light with perpendicular and parallel polarizations to the c*-axis. Orthogonally polarized emission with a narrow linewidth (∼0.2 nm) arises from the valence band splitting and birefringent nature of the semipolar GaN material, as well as the mode selection of the resonant cavity. By modulating the cavity length, the device is capable of switching between single- and multi-mode emission spectra. We believe that the approach of employing a cavity structure and semipolar GaN can be extended to produce orthogonally and linearly polarized blue, red, and violet light by adjusting the material compositions.

In clinical practice, early diagnosis, accurate assessment and effective management of rare skin diseases are difficult. The Big Data gives rise to the exponential growth of biomedical data, including medical images, multi-omics information and electronic health records. Artificial intelligence (AI), particularly machine learning, has its advantage in processing complex and abundant information. Researches have applied AI in the field of rare skin diseases. In this paper, we briefly describe, discuss, and foresee the research on AI based image data, multi-omics data & text data and AI in assisting rare skin disease drug development, in order to improve the awareness of dermatologist understanding of this field and actively promote the development of AI usage on rare skin diseases.

High-concentration oil mists from machining plant equipment can cause serious health problems for workers. The concentration of oil mist is generally reduced by ventilation and purification systems. However, the coupling relationship and interaction between purification and ventilation systems are not well understood. This study is based on an actual machining factory. First, the CFD simulation method was validated by the experimental data. Secondly, the influence of purifier exhaust air and exhaust air direction on oil mist distribution was studied. The results show that the influence of purifier exhaust air cannot be ignored in the prediction of oil mist concentration distribution. The difference in oil mist concentration and oil mist removal efficiency was 24% and 20%, respectively, with and without the purifier exhaust. Compared with the vertical exhaust direction of the purifier, the purifier with horizontal exhaust has fewer areas with higher oil mist concentrations. However, for the oil mist concentration at 1.5 m above the floor, the vertical exhaust air of the purifier is 0.1 mg/m3 lower than the horizontal exhaust air, and the removal efficiency is increased by 6.9%

In the past decades, lung cancer is considered one of the lethal cancers all across the world due to its evidenced greatest mortality and morbidity. Currently, the main clinical treatment methods for lung cancer involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, anti-angiogenesis inhibitors and tyrosine kinase inhibitors. In the field of anticancer drugs, a variety of new anticancer drugs have been emerging in recent years. They include chemotherapy drugs with new delivery modes, targeted drugs for tyrosine kinase inhibitors, angiogenesis inhibitors, and immunotherapy drugs that have remained hot. But because cancer cells have complex escape mechanisms, the effectiveness of these single-drug treatments has been disappointing. In this case, a number of new combination therapies have emerged and achieved relatively good results. According to the 2020 third edition of the NCCN guidelines, four multi-therapy regiments (Erlotinib plus ramucirumab, Erlotinib plus bevacizumab, Carboplatin plus albumin-bound paclitaxel plus atezolizumab and Nivolumab plus ipilimumab) have passed clinical trials, adding first-line treatments. In this review, the research provided an overview of these four new approved combining treatment strategies in addition to predicting future drug development directions.

The fatigue performance of welded joints of submarine pipelines is directly related to the safety and economic benefits of welded structures. Considering the limitations of fatigue calculation, anti-fatigue design and small-scale fatigue test in the evaluation and analysis of pipeline fatigue life, this paper demonstrated the feasibility, scientificity and advancement of submarine pipeline full-scale fatigue test technology in engineering applications. Consequently, a full-scale fatigue test system and its test analysis technology applied for ZY-PFS2000 pipelines have been first developed in China, in which the effects of welding residual stress, stress concentration, initial welding defects, pipeline internal pressure shutdown and internal medium fluctuations on the fatigue life of full-scale pipelines were comprehensively taken into account. Through the full-scale fatigue test (four-point bending + internal pressure) of the X65 submarine pipeline, the fatigue cycles of different specifications of pipelines under different stress amplitudes were obtained. Moreover, the fatigue loading results were evaluated and analyzed in accordance with the international standard of BS 7608 and DNV C203. The research in this paper is conducive to accumulating full-scale fatigue performance data for submarine pipelines in China, not only offering a quantitative basis for the subsequent full-scale fatigue life evaluation and the safety operation cycle, but also providing a reference direction for the future development of submarine pipeline full-scale fatigue test technology.

The production process of port enterprises is complex, and the operation contents are diversified and dynamic. Thus, the factors affecting the safety production risk are numerous and complex. To better grasp the risk state of the safety production of the port enterprises, based on the requirements of relevant laws and regulations and the actual situation of safe production of port enterprises, in this study, the diversified safety production data of port enterprises was collected and analyzed, the three-level index system of safety production data for port enterprises was constructed, the evaluation model of safe production state for port enterprises based on AHP-fuzzy comprehensive evaluation was established, and the practical application was carried out in a large port enterprise. The evaluation results were highly consistent with the actual situation of safe production of port enterprises. This evaluation method can be used to make full use of the existing data sources of safety production of port enterprises to discover the prominent risks affecting safety production and control them, and effectively improve the level of safety production of port enterprises.

In this paper, the urgency and necessity of the research on the construction and evaluation technology of China’s port accident emergency response system are fully expounded and demonstrated from the level of the policies and documents of the administrative departments, the research level of experts and scholars, and the actual situation of the port industry emergency response work. Based on sorting out the problems existing in the construction and evaluation of China’s port accident emergency response system, the research ideas and main contents of the research on the construction and evaluation technology of port accident emergency response system are put forward.

Collaborative filtering is one of the most successful and widely used recommendation systems. A hybrid collaborative filtering method called data sensitive recommendation based on community detection (DSRCD) is proposed as a solution to cold start and data sparsity problems in CF. Data sensitive similarity is combined with Pearson similarity to calculate the similarity between users. α is the control parameter. A predicted rating mechanism is used to solve data sparsity problem and to obtain more accurate recommendation. Both user-user similarity and item-item similarity are considered in predicted rating mechanism. β is the control parameter. Moreover, in the constructed K-nearest neighbour set, both user-community similarity and user-user similarity are considered. The target user is either in the community or has some correlation to the community. Calculating the user-community similarity can cope with cold start problem. To calculate the recommendation, movielens data sets are used in the experiments. First, parameters α and β are tested and DSRCD is compared with traditional collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm (TCF) and Zhao’s algorithm. DSRCD always has better results than TCF. When K = 30, we have better performance results than Zhao’s algorithm.

In this paper, we explored the resistivity behavior of Sb7Se3 thin films on flexible mica. The films maintained their resistance characteristics through various thicknesses and bending cycles. With increasing bends, resistivity and phase transition temperature of both amorphous and crystalline states rose, while the resistance drift coefficient gradually increased. Raman and near infrared experiments confirmed the internal structural changes and bandgap enhancement after bending. Transmission electron microscopy showed enhanced crystallization and uniform element distribution after annealing. Atomic force microscopy observed cracks, explaining the property changes. Additionally, we developed a flexible Sb7Se3 thin-film resistive device with swift reversibility (∼10 ns) regardless of bending, opening new avenues for flexible information storage.
