In this paper, we first give a new interpretation of Jimbo's boundary condition for the generic Painlev\'e VI transcendents, as the shrinking phenomenon in long time behaviour of the Jimbo-Miwa-Mori-Sato equation with rank $n=3$. Abstract

In an era characterized by extensive use of and reliance on information and communications technology (ICT), cyber–physical power systems (CPPSs) have emerged as a critical integral of modern power infrastructures, providing vital energy sources to consumers, communities, and industries worldwide. The integration of ICT in these systems, while beneficial, introduces a rapidly evolving range of cybersecurity challenges that significantly threaten their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. To address this, our article offers a comprehensive and timely survey of the current landscape of cyber vulnerabilities in CPPS, reflecting the latest developments in the field up to the present. This includes an in-depth analysis of the diverse types of cyber threats to CPPS and their potential consequences, underscoring the necessity for a broad, multidisciplinary approach. Our review is distinguished by its thoroughness and timeliness, covering recent research to offer one of the most current overviews of cybersecurity in CPPSs. We adopt a holistic perspective, integrating technical, societal, environmental, and policy implications, thereby providing a more comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity in CPPSs. We delve into the complexities of cyberattacks, exploring sophisticated, targeted attacks alongside common threats, and emphasize the dynamic nature of cyber threats, providing insights into their evolution and future trends. Additionally, our review highlights critical yet often overlooked challenges, such as system visibility and standardization in security protocols, arguing their significance in enhancing CPPS resilience. Furthermore, our work gives special attention to the aspects of restoration and recovery postcyberattack, an area less emphasized in the existing literature. Through this comprehensive overview of the current state and evolving challenges of CPPS security, our article serves as an indispensable resource for research, practice, and policymaking dedicated to safeguarding the safety, reliability, and resilience of ICT-empowered energy systems.

Abstract

Privacy-preserving record linkage (PPRL) is the process of linking records from various data sources, ensuring that matching records for the same entity are shared among parties while not disclosing other sensitive data. However, most existing PPRL approaches currently rely on third parties for linking, posing risks of malicious tampering and privacy breaches, making it difficult to ensure the security of the linkage. Therefore, we propose a parallel multi-party PPRL method based on consortium blockchain technology which can effectively address the issue of semi-trusted third-party validation, auditing all parties involved in the PPRL process for potential malicious tampering or attacks. To improve the efficiency and security of consensus within a consortium blockchain, we propose a practical Byzantine fault tolerance consensus algorithm based on matching efficiency. Additionally, we have incorporated homomorphic encryption into Bloom filter encoding to enhance its security. To optimize computational efficiency, we have adopted the MapReduce model for parallel encryption and utilized a binary storage tree as the data structure for similarity computation. The experimental results show that our method can effectively ensure data security while also exhibiting relatively high linkage quality and scalability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

49. Microstructure, wear resistance and antibacterial behaviors of novel CoCrFeNiCeXhigh entropy alloys

Abstract

In this work, a series of CoCrFeNiCeX(x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5) high-entropy alloys (HEAs) were designed and prepared through vacuum induction melting. The microstructure, wear resistance and antibacterial behaviors of the HEAs were systematically investigated. The results showed that the HEAs are composed of FCC phase with dendrite structure and CeNi3phase between dendrites. With the increase of Ce content, the mechanical property and antibacterial rate of the alloys was improved gradually. Due to the combined effect of CeNi3phase and fine grain strengthening, the CoCrFeNiCe0.5HEA exhibited high hardness of approximately 382 HV0.2and the wear rate of only 1.11 × 10−4 mm3/N·m under the loading force of 5 N. The CoCrFeNiCe0.5HEA also showed excellent antibacterial ability, which presented a 97.4% antibacterial rate against Escherichia coliand 89.6% antibacterial rate against Staphylococcus aureusafter 3 days. This work provided a new strategy for designing a high performance alloy with excellent antibacterial behaviors and good wear resistance, which makes it meet the needs of long-term antibacterial application in harsh environments.
