Humic acid (HA) is the main precursor of carcinogenic compounds such as trichloromethane, which form during the disinfection of drinking water. Therefore, removing HA from water sources is crucial for producing safe drinking water. This study introduces a novel approach using dilute nitric acid as a nitrogen source to dope pristine Ti3AlC2 (TAC) to varying degrees, enhancing the material's photocatalytic degradation performance for HA. Characterisations through X‐ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy, UV–vis and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the surface morphology of the modified catalyst changed from an original blocky lamellar structure to a rod‐like cluster structure, which is advantageous for light trapping. In addition, the incorporation of nitrogen reduced the band gap of the material from 1.25 to 1.15 eV, considerably enhancing its overall light responsiveness and thereby improving its photocatalytic performance. The results demonstrated that the photocatalytic degradation efficiency of HA by TAC under optimal conditions reached 93.8 %, which is 4.3 times higher than the 21.8 % efficiency achieved using the undoped TAC material. The enhanced photocatalytic activity is attributed to N doping, which not only reduces the TiO2 band gap at the TAC surface but also improves the electrochemical behaviour of TAC. This results in enhanced light response and more efficient separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs. The mechanism for CTAC–Nx photocatalytic degradation of HA was investigated using trapping agent experiments, revealing that the primary active substance responsible for the degradation is O2−. To meet selective adsorption toward trifluralin, a novel molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) was fabricated by the dummy template molecular imprinting technology. First, computational simulation was performed to select a suitable dummy template, 3,5‐dinitro‐4‐methylbenzoic acid (T1), based on the maximum basis set superposition error (BSSE)‐corrected binding interaction energy (ΔE) of the monomer N‐vinylpyrrolidone (NVP)‐T1 complex and its structural overlap with trifluralin. Then, the MIP was prepared via the bulk polymerization. The adsorption experiments showed the MIP exhibited a trifluralin adsorption capacity of 5.1 mg g−1, an imprinting factor (IF) of 2.2, and short adsorption equilibrium time of 5 min. The adsorption of trifluralin conformed to the Freundlich adsorption (R2 = 0.985) and pseudo‐second‐order model (R2 = 0.999). In addition, the MIP exhibited selectivity to trifluralin over other adsorbents, including structural analogs (pendimethalin and oryzalin), pesticide (carbendazim), and nitrocompounds (nitrofurantoin, furazolidone, and furaltadone), with the selectivity factor (β) in the range of 1.2–3.0, respectively. In trifluralin/oryzalin mixture, the IF toward oryzalin was still as high as 1.9. The removal rate of the MIP to trifluralin in environmental water samples ranged from 90.08% to 99.04%. Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection can cause condyloma acuminatum (CA), which is characterized by a high incidence and a propensity for recurrence after treatment. Angiogenesis plays an important role in the occurrence and development of CA. Seryl‐tRNA synthetase (SerRS) is a newly identified, potent anti‐angiogenic factor that directly binds to the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGFA) promoter, thereby suppressing its transcription. Emodin is a natural anthraquinone derivative that can promote SerRS expression. This study aimed to investigate the effects of emodin on CA and explore combined treatment strategies. The HPV‐infected cell line SiHa was treated with either DMSO, emodin, ALA‐PDT or a combination of emodin and ALA‐PDT. We observed the effects on cell proliferation, apoptosis and the SerRS‐VEGFA pathway. Our findings demonstrated that emodin targets angiogenesis through the SerRS‐VEGFA pathway, resulting in the inhibition of SiHa cell proliferation and promotion of apoptosis (p < 0.001). To verify the therapeutic effect of emodin combined with ALA‐PDT on HPV‐associated tumours in vivo, we established an animal xenograft model by subcutaneously inoculating mice with SiHa cells (n = 4). The results showed that the combination of emodin and ALA‐PDT significantly inhibited the expression of VEGFA to inhibit angiogenesis (p < 0.001), thus showing an inhibitory effect on tumour (p < 0.001). Furthermore, we determined that the mechanism underlying the decrease in VEGFA expression after emodin combined with ALA‐PDT in CA may be attributed to the promotion of SerRS expression (p < 0.001). The combination of emodin and ALA‐PDT holds promise as a novel therapeutic target for CA by targeting neovascularization in condyloma tissues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper proposes a recursive delta-operator-based subspace identification method with fixed data size. The majority of existing subspace identification methods are constrained to discrete-time systems because of the disparity in Hankel matrices. Additionally, due to the storage cost, LQ-factorization and singular value decomposition in identification methods are best suited for batch processing rather than online identification. The continuous-time systems are transformed into state space models based on the delta-operator to address these issues. These models approach the original systems when the sampling interval approaches zero. The size of the data matrices is fixed to reduce the computing load. By fading the impact of past data on future data, the amount of data storage can be decreased. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by the continuous stirred tank reactor system.
