Objective: Liver cancer is the 4th leading cause of cancer death worldwide,and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) accounts for the largest proportion of these deaths. Berberine is a quaternary amine compound extracted from plants such as Coptidis Rhizoma (Huang Lian, 黄连) and Phellodendri Chinensis Cortex (Huang Bo, 黄柏) and is considered as a potential candidate for treating HCC. This study used network pharmacology methods, reveal the core mechanism of action of berberine in the treatment of HCC, clarify its medicinal value, and locate the anti-tumor mechanism of berberine. Methods: Structural information of Berberine (PubChem CID: 2353) was obtained from the NCBI PubChem; ADME parameter were obtained from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology (TCMSP) database; Berberine prediction targets were collected from symmap, stitch and targetnet databases; HCC significant targets were retrieved from OncoDB.HCC and Liverome; A PPI network was established at STRING, Prediction target of berberine therapy for HCC are collected by gene mapping; The core target, pathway, biological process (BP), cellular component (CC), and molecular function (MF) of berberine in the treatment of HCC were predicted by topological analysis and enrichment analysis; the visualized ''target pathway'' network diagram of berberine in the treatment of HCC was established by the software of Cytoscape. Results: Through PubChem and tcmsp databases, the good drug- forming properties of berberine were identified; 32 prediction targets of berberine were collected in symmap, stitch and targetnet databases; 566 related targets of HCC were collected inoncodb.hcc and liverome databases; 10 targets of berberine treatment for HCC were predicted by gene mapping, and a PPI with 10 nodes and 34 edges was established Through topological analysis and enrichment analysis, 6 topologically important targets, 6 related pathways and 16 BP, 6 cc and 7 MF involved in Berberine treatment of HCC were obtained. Conclusions: The anticancer effect of berberine is mainly involved in the regulation of cells of hepatoma cells through complex interactions between the TB52, MAPK1, CCND1, PTGS2, ESR1 that act on Hub nodes and their associated 6 pathways. The cycle is related to the immune inflammatory response, including biological processes such as proliferation and apoptosis of liver cancer cells. This research is to solve the stability analysis issue of nonlinear pressurized water reactor cores. On the basis of modeling a nonlinear pressurized water reactor core using the lumped parameter method, its linearized model is achieved via the small perturbation linearization way. Linearized models of the nonlinear core at six power levels are selected as local models of this core. The T-S fuzzy idea for the core is exploited to construct the T-S fuzzy model of the nonlinear core based on the local models and the triangle membership function, which approximates the nonlinear core model within the entire range of power level. This fuzzy model as a bridge is to cater to the stability analysis of the nonlinear core after defining its stability. One stability theorem is deduced to define the nonlinear core is globally asymptotically stable in the global range of power level. Finally, the simulation work and stability analyses are separately completed. Numerical simulations show that the fuzzy model can substitute the nonlinear core model; stability analyses verify the nonlinear core is globally asymptotically stable in the global range of power level.

The absorbent composing of Bayer red mud and water was prepared and applied to removing SO2 from flue gas. Effects of the ratio of liquid to solid (L/S), the absorption temperature, the inlet SO2 concentration, the O2 concentration, SO42- and other different components of Bayer red mud on desulfurization were conducted. The mechanism of flue gas desulfurization was also established. The results indicated that L/S was the prominent factor, followed by the inlet SO2 concentration and the temperature was the least among them. The optimum condition was as follows: L/S, the temperature and the SO2 concentration were 20:1, 25 °C and 1000 mg/m3, respectively, under the gas flow of 1.5 L/min. The desulfurization efficiency was not significantly influenced when O2 concentration was above 7%. The accumulation of SO42- inhibited the desulfurization efficiency. The alkali absorption and metal ions liquid catalytic oxidation were involved in the process, which accounted for 98.61%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
