Background: Diabetes is a common chronic disease which has caused a great burden on families and society. The treatment of diabetes has always been a hotspot. This study aimed to explore the effect and mechanism of miR-30d-5pon inflammation of high glucose-impaired human keloid fibroblasts (HKF).

Hyperoxia-induced acute lung injury (HALI) is a complication of oxygen therapy. Ferroptosis is a vital factor in HALI. This paper was anticipated to investigate the underlying mechanism of wedelolactone (WED) on ferroptosis in HALI. The current study used hyperoxia to injure two models, one HALI mouse model and one MLE-12 cell injury model. We found that WED treatment attenuated HALI by decreasing the lung injury score and lung wet/dry (W/D) weight ratio and alleviating pathomorphological changes. Then, the inflammatory reaction and apoptosis in HALI mice and hyperoxia-mediated MLE-12 cells were inhibited by WED treatment. Moreover, WED alleviated ferroptosis with less iron accumulation and reversed expression alterations of ferroptosis markers, including MDA, GSH, GPX4, SLC7A11, FTH1, and TFR1 in hyperoxia-induced MLE-12 cells in vitro and in vivo. Nrf2-KO mice and Nrf2 inhibitor (ML385) decreased WED's ability to protect against apoptosis, inflammatory response, and ferroptosis in hyperoxia-induced MLE-12 cells. International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives is an international commodity agreement,driven by the United Nations and signed between major olive oil producers and consumers. From 1959 to 2015, after five revisions, the International Olive Council (IOC) was established in Madrid, the capital city of the largest exporter of olive oil, according to this agreement. The International Olive Council is managed by the Member Council, under which the executive Secretariat and sub committees are set up to be responsible for the regulation of industry standards, international olive oil trade information collection, olive industry promotion, etc.. The grade classification based on the quality index of virgin olive oil in IOC olive oil trade standard has been universally recognized around the world. This paper analyzes the classification standards,physical and chemical indexes and sensory analysis of olive oil, meanwhile, the approved olive oil laboratories by IOC are introduced. Understanding the international trade agreements in olive oil industry is a must enter the international trade market.

One major obstacle for integrating the history of mathematics in teaching (hereafter referred to as IHT) is how to help teachers, particularly those who lack experience in IHT, use historical materials in their teaching. Based on many IHT practices in Shanghai, this paper proposes an IHT framework including two parts: one is a triangular pyramid IHT model, and the other is a design-based IHT procedure. The pyramid model is composed of three different communities: teachers, researchers, and historians of mathematics. The design-based procedure, also called operating model, includes cyclic stages, which are investigation, design, implementation, assessment, and publication. The primary purpose of this framework is to build a bridge between theory and practice by combining the two models to address particular teaching concerns and improve teaching. In addition, this paper details the process of the dynamic pyramid model and the design-based IHT procedure, and illustrates an example of the application of this framework. Finally, this paper discusses the differences and similarities between this model and others and also discusses the challenge of applying this model in practice.

Objective: Many people with mental disorders are cared for by informed caregivers, but they usually have limited care-related training and lack caregiving capacity and support networks. In order to provide professional training and social support for informed caregivers, we designed the Caregivers-to-Caregivers Training Programme (C2C) and performed a pilot study to assess its effect. Methods: Caregivers of persons with mental disorders who participated in the C2C were asked to participate in a quasi-experimental study to assess their knowledge and skills development, self-care ability, trainer engagement, and training content. A total of 800 participants completed self-designed evaluation questionnaires and two open-ended questions to gather suggestions and feedback. Assessments were carried out at pretest (baseline), post-test, and at 2-month follow-up. Results were analyzed using one-way repeated measures analysis of variance (ANOVA) and pairwise comparison method. Results: At post-test, 667 assessments were considered valid and 515 were deemed valid at 2-month follow-up. One-way repeated-measures ANOVA showed that the main effect of the scores on knowledge and skills development and self-care ability from baseline to 2-month follow-up was significant (p <.001). Results of pairwise comparison method showed that the scores on each item of knowledge and skills development and self-care ability at post-test and at 2-month follow up were higher than those at baseline (p <.001). The scores on items of trainer engagement and training content were all above average (4/5). The open-ended questions resulted in 678 comments indicating that participants gained significant support from other caregivers and healthcare professionals in the alliance and wanted more and continuously updated material. Conclusion: This study demonstrated that C2C effectively improved the development of caregivers' knowledge, skills, and their self-care ability. The ventral hippocampus (VH) and the basolateral amygdala (BLA) are both crucial in inhibitory avoidance (IA) memory. However, the exact role of the VH-BLA circuit in IA memory consolidation is unclear. This study investigated the effect of post-training reversible disconnection of the VH-BLA circuit in IA memory consolidation. Male Wistar rats with implanted guide cannulae were trained with a one-trial IA task, then received immediate intracerebral injections of muscimol or saline, and were tested 24 h later. Muscimol injection into the bilateral BLA, or the unilateral VH and contralateral BLA, but not the unilateral VH and ipsilateral BLA, significantly decreased the retention latencies (versus saline treatment). The results suggest that the VH-BLA circuit could be an important circuit to modulate consolidation of IA memory in rats.

There is not a clear consensus on the categorization framework of the educational values of the history of mathematics. By analyzing 20 Chinese teaching cases on integrating the history of mathematics into mathematics teaching based on the relevant literature, this study examined a new categorization framework of the educational values of the history of mathematics by combining the objectives of high school mathematics curriculum in China. This framework includes six dimensions: the harmony of knowledge, the beauty of ideas or methods, the pleasure of inquiries, the improvement of capabilities, the charm of cultures, and the availability of moral education. The results show that this framework better explained the all-educational values of the history of mathematics that all teaching cases showed. Therefore, the framework can guide teachers to better integrate the history of mathematics into teaching.
