Objective： A method based on high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry was developed for the simultaneous determination of bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food packaging material. Methods: The extraction solvent and extraction method were investigated. Solid-phase extraction （SPE） conditions were optimized. The effects of solid phase extraction column, loading solvent, eluting solvent and elution solvent on the purification effect were systematically analyzed. The samples were ultrasonic extracted with dichloromethaneand cleaned up on a solid-phase extraction （SPE） cartridge equipped with packing material of silicone. The separation was performed on a Venusil MP C18（2）（100 mm×2.1 mm,2.6 μm）by gradient elution with 0.1% ammonia solution and methanol as mobile phase. The analytes were determined with multiple reaction monitoring （MRM） mode under electrospray negative ionization mode and quantified by an internal standard method. Results: The results indicated that good linearities was obtained for bisphenol A and nonylphenol both within the concentration range of 1.0~200.0 μg/L. The average recoveries of each analyte at three spiked levels of 1.0, 10.0, 200.0 μg/kg were in the range of 89.2%~101.2%, with relative standard deviations （RSD） of 3.1%~6.2%. The limits of detection （LODs） and limits of quantification （LOQs） were 0.5 μg/kg and 1.0 μg/kg, respectively. Conclusion: The method was proved to be a simple, accurate and sensitive method and was successfully applied to detect bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food packaging material. It can also provide reference for the determination of bisphenol A and nonylphenol in food.

This review summarized the research progress on the sources, analytical methods and levels of contamination of chloropropanol and glycidyl esters (GES), chlorates, perchlorate, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), acrylamide, mineral oils, perfluorinated and polyfluoroalkyl compounds (PFASs) in infant milk powder, and the advantages and disadvantages of detection technology and the domestic and abroad pollution status at about new POPs of infant milk powder were also discussed. Moreover, the development and types of emerging POPs detection techniques for infant milk powder were also prospected.

Objective To observe the effects of 5-azacytidine(5-Aza)-induced bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BM-MSCs) transplantation on the myocardial infarction area, the expression of related cytokines and potassium channels in rats. Methods Rats were randomly divided into control group, model group, blank control group, BM-MSCs group and 5-Aza-BM-MSCs group. Coronary artery ligation was used to develope a model of myocardial infarction, and cell transplantation was performed using a 4-point injection method. HE staining was used to observe the pathology of infarct myocardium, and the expression of caspase-3, beclin-2, VEGF, PGI2, superoxide dismutase (SOD), IL-3, IL-6 and TNF-α in infarct areas were detected by immunohistochemistry. The Kv1.2 and Kv1.5 proteins expressions of potassium channels were detected by Western blot. Results 1)Compared with the control group, the area of myocardial infarction and the expression level of caspase-3, beclin-2, VEFG, PGI2, IL-3, IL-6 and TNF-α in the model group all significantly increased (P＜0.05). However, the expression level of Kv1.2 and Kv1.5 were reduced (P＜0.05). 2)Compared with the model group, the area of myocardial infarction and caspase-3, beclin-2, and IL-3, IL-6 and TNF-α expression level significantly reduced both in the BM-MSCs group and the 5-Aza-BM-MSCs group (P＜0.05), Kv1.5, VEGF, PGI2, and SOD expression level increased(P＜0.05); Kv1.2 in BM-MSCs group decreased, but increased in 5-Aza-BM-MSCs group (P＜0.05). 3)Compared with the BM-MSCs group, the area of myocardial infarction and the expression of caspase-3 and IL-6 decreased in the 5-Aza-BM-MSCs group (P＜0.05), Kv1.2, VEGF and SOD expression level increased (P＜0.05). Conclusions 5-Aza-BM-MSCs more effectively reduces inflammatory response and apoptosis, promotes neovascularization, improves myocardial antioxidant capacity, reduces myocardial infarction area, and promotes the expression of potassium ion channel Kv1.2 protein as compare to single BM-MSCs transplantation.

Mitochondria are structurally and functionally unique organelles in male gametes. Apparently, as the only organelles remaining in mature sperm, mitochondria not only produce adeno-sine triphosphate (ATP) through oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) to support sperm mobility, but also play key roles in regulating reactive oxidation species (ROS) signaling, calcium homeostasis, steroid hormone biosynthesis, and apoptosis. Mitochondrial dysfunction is often associated with the aging process. Age-dependent alterations of the epididymis can cause alterations in sperm mitochondrial functioning. The resultant cellular defects in sperm have been implicated in male infertility. Among these, oxidative stress (OS) due to the overproduction of ROS in mitochondria may represent one of the major causes of these disorders. Excessive ROS can trigger DNA damage, disturb calcium homeostasis, impair OXPHOS, disrupt the integrity of the sperm lipid membrane, and induce apoptosis. Given these facts, scavenging ROS by antioxidants hold great potential in terms of finding promising therapeutic strategies to treat male infertility. Here, we summarize the progress made in understanding mitochondrial dysfunction, aging, and male infertility. The clinical potential of antioxidant interventions was also discussed. To study the application of three-dimensional speckle-tracking imaging in evaluating left ventricular systolic function and its correlation with peripheral arterial elasticity in children with simple obesity. Methods Random sampling combined with convenience sampling was used to obtain research samples, and then the samples were divided into an obesity group (23 cases), an overweight group (21 cases), and a normal group (24 cases). Three-dimensional speckle-tracking imaging was used to measure the global longitudinal strain (GLS), global radial strain (GRS), and global circumferential strain (GCS) of the left ventricle. An automatic arteriosclerosis tester was used to measure ankle-brachial index (ABI) and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV). These parameters were compared among the three groups. The correlation of three-dimensional speckle-tracking parameters with ABI and baPWV was evaluated. Results There were no significant differences in GLS, GRS, and GCS between the obesity and normal groups (P>0.05). The overweight group had a significantly higher GLS than the normal group [(-24±7) vs (-19± 12), P<0.05]. The obesity and overweight groups had a significantly lower ABI than the normal group [(1.00±0.09)/1.09±0.13) vs (2.25±0.13), P<0.05). The obesity group had a significantly higher baPWV than the normal group [(978± 109) vs (905±22), P<0.05]. In the children with obesity, GLS was positively correlated with baPWV (r=0.516, P<0.05), but not correlated with ABI (P>0.05), and GCS and GRS had no significant correlation with ABI or baPWV (P>0.05). Conclusions There are varying degrees of changes in left ventricular systolic function and peripheral arterial elasticity in children with simple obesity, and there is a certain correlation between them.
