Objective·To analyze the changes in the use of antibiotics in a tertiary hospital in Jiangsu Province, so as to provide reference for the improvement of antimicrobial drug management in the hospital.Methods·The point prevalence survey was conducted to investigate the usage of antibiotics and nosocomial infection of Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University on October 16, 2019, and September 15, 2022, respectively. The related data were summarized by Excel 16.0 and analyzed by SPSS 26.0 software. The related data were described by utilization rate and constituent ratio, and χ2 test was used for comparative analysis.Results·In 2019, a total of 474 patients were enrolled and their antimicrobial utilization rate was 48.1% on the day of the survey; in 2022, a total of 484 patients were enrolled and their antimicrobial utilization rate was 33.5% on the day of the survey. Compared with 2019, the rate of antibiotic usage in hospitalized patients showed an overall downward trend in 2022. The usage rate of only one antimicrobial agent increased from 38.6% to 82.7% (χ2=75.182, P=0.000), the usage rate of double therapy decreased from 40.8% to 14.2% (χ2=32.048, P=0.000), and the usage rate of quadruple therapy decreased from 14.0% to 0 (χ2=24.769, P=0.000). In 2019 and 2022, the usage rate of surgical prophylactic antibiotics was 61.5% and 88.1%, and the usage rate of two or more surgical prophylactic antibiotics was 38.5% and 11.9%, respectively. The usage rate of surgical prophylactic antibiotics in 2022 was higher than that in 2019 (χ2=27.297, P=0.000). The rate of antibiotic usage with medication records increased from 4.0% to 97.8% (χ2=695.523, P=0.000), and the rate of antibiotic withdrawal records increased from 22.4% to 91.0% (χ2=468.698, P=0.000). The rate of empirical usage of antibiotics by clinicians decreased from 47.3% to 35.8% (χ2=260.038, P=0.000), and the rate of antibiotic usage based on inflammatory indicators increased from 18.9% to 27.0% (χ2=505.637, P=0.000). The rate of antibiotics compliance increased from 88.6% to 92.1% (χ2=464.573, P=0.000). The most common type of nosocomial infection in 2019 and 2022 was pneumonia, accounting for 64.7% and 81.0%.Conclusion·The level of antibacterial drug management in the hospital has been stable and improved, and the standardization of the usage of antibacterial drugs by medical staff has been improved. Hospital managers should improve the construction of information technology for rational use of antimicrobial drugs, emphasize departmental collaboration, and work together to formulate work plans to improve the rate of rational usage of antimicrobial drugs and enhance patient satisfaction.

TiO2 is an important component of photoelectric devices. How to broaden the light absorption of TiO2 and accelerate the separation of photo-generated electrons and holes is the focus of the current research. Building heterojunction with narrow band gap semiconductor and TiO2 is one of the important measures to improve its photoelectric performance. We prepared BiVO4/TiO2 binary heterojunction by the simple hydrothermal method and analyzed the effect of BiVO4 precursor solution concentration on the microstructure and photoelectric performance of the heterojunction. BiVO4/TiO2 binary heterojunction can effectively improve the photoelectric performance of TiO2, and the transient current density reaches 85 μA/cm2. To further boost the photocurrent of BiVO4/TiO2, Bi2S3 was in situ grown on the heterojunction to form Bi2S3/BiVO4/TiO2 ternary heterojunction. The results show that the band gap of Bi2S3/BiVO4/TiO2 composites is significantly narrowed compared with that of TiO2. The light absorption has been expanded to the visible range, and the photogenerated current density is also greatly boosted (0.514 mA/cm2). This Bi2S3/BiVO4/TiO2 ternary heterojunction accelerates the separation of photo-carriers and improves the photoelectric performance of the device. The possible transport mechanism of photo-carriers in ternary heterojunction is analyzed. The current study provides an effective strategy for in situ construction of novel multicomponent heterojunction and provides a basis for the application of Bi2S3/BiVO4/TiO2 in the optoelectronic field.

Improving interfacial kinetics is the key to realizing extreme fast charging (XFC) of graphite‐based potassium ion batteries (PIBs). The electrolyte engineering is commonly used for solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) design. However, this strategy adjusts both ion solvation structure and (de)solvation kinetics simultaneously, thus making it difficult to explicitly reveal the linkage between SEI properties and interfacial kinetics. Herein, the content of inorganic species in preformed SEI on graphite surface is precisely regulated and uncovered its critical role in improving the interfacial kinetics. The charge transfer kinetics on graphite/electrolyte interphase is found to be the rate limitation step upon XFC. Meanwhile, the increased inorganic species in SEI plays a decisive role in optimizing the charge transfer rather than the kinetics of naked K+ crossing SEI. Through unlocking the anodic charge transfer limitation with ultra‐inorganic rich SEI, the graphite//Prussian blue analogs full cells achieve a superior XFC ability (13 min charge to 80%) with a specific capacity of 103 mAh g−1 at 5 C. This work provides a fundamental understanding of the relationship between SEI properties and interfacial kinetics during XFC, which enables the rational design of SEI chemistry for fast‐charging PIBs. Potassium‐ion batteries (KIBs) are promising energy storage devices owing to the close redox potential of potassium (K) to lithium and rich abundance of K resource, thus promoting the exploration of efficient cathode materials for K‐ions storage. Fe‐based Prussian blue analogues (KFeHCF) are promising cathode materials for KIBs due to their combined advantages in low cost and high energy density. However, the rapid capacity decay induced by unstable cathode electrolyte interphase (CEI) and dissolution of transition metal ions leads to limited lifespans (e.g., hundreds of cycles) of K∥KFeHCF batteries. Incorporating additives into electrolytes is an economical and effective way to construct robust CEI for high‐performance KIBs. Herein, a multifunctional electrolyte additive, potassium selenocyanate (KSeCN), is introduced to effectively construct stable, homogeneous and conductive CEI films, which leads to the inhibition of Fe dissolution and stabilization of KFeHCF structure during cycling. With 0.5 wt% of KSeCN in conventional carbonated electrolyte, the K∥KFeHCF battery exhibits promoted cycling performance with a capacity retention rate of 87% after 500 cycles at 4.5 V cutoff voltage. The application and removal of personal protective equipment (PPE) by health care workers (HCWs) is pivotal to their health and safety and the comprehensive efficacy of hospital infection control measures. This investigation was orchestrated to elucidate the challenges that HCWs may encounter during the donning and doffing of PPE. A total of 110 participants from a tertiary hospital in China were engaged. The study employed fluorescent markers to mimic the exposure of HCWs to tainted body fluids, quantified the contamination outcomes, and evaluated adherence to procedures for donning and doffing. Factors including gender, educational background, and the timing of the most recent instruction on PPE donning and doffing were found to influence the occurrence of contamination points (p < 0.05). No significant differences were identified in contamination frequency when assessing age, body mass index (BMI), occupation, educational background, positional title, working tenure, and experience in managing respiratory infectious diseases (p > 0.05). Predominant contamination sites for fluorescent marker residue included the shoulder (32.73%), neck (21.82%), forearm (16.36%), chest (12.73%), and abdomen (11.82%), with the shoulder being the most contaminated body part. A majority of HCWs exhibited susceptibility to errors during the removal of protective clothing, boot covers, and gloves. The contamination frequency was observed to be correlated with the timing of the last PPE training, educational background, and gender. In acknowledging the intricacy of PPE removal and the deficiencies in HCWs' removal techniques, there emerges a perpetual necessity to refine training methodologies and perpetuate regular PPE instruction. Aqueous zinc ion batteries are gaining popularity due to their high energy density and environmental friendliness. However, random deposition of zinc ions on the anode and sluggish migration of zinc ions on the interface would lead to the growth of zinc dendrites and poor cycling performance. To address these challenges, we developed a fluorinated solid‐state‐electrolyte interface layer composed of Ca5(PO4)3F/Zn3(PO4)2 via an in situ ion exchange strategy to guide zinc‐ion oriented deposition and fast zinc ion migration on the anode during cycling. The introduction of Ca5(PO4)3F (FAP) can increase the nucleation sites of zinc ions and guide the oriented deposition of zinc ions along the (002) crystal plane, while the in situ formation of Zn3(PO4)2 during cycling can accelerate the migration of zinc ions. Benefited from our design, the assembled Zn//V2O5 ⋅ H2O batteries based on FAP‐protected Zn anode (FAP‐Zn) achieve a higher capacity retention of 84 % (220 mAh g−1) than that of bare‐Zn based batteries, which have a capacity retention of 23 % (97 mAh g−1) at 3.0 A g−1 after 800 cycles. Facial attractiveness prediction is an important research topic in the computer vision community. It not only contributes to the development of interdisciplinary research in psychology and sociology, but also provides fundamental technical support for applications like aesthetic medicine and social media. With the advances in 3D data acquisition and feature representation, this paper aims to investigate the facial attractiveness from deep learning and three‐dimensional perspectives. The 3D faces are first processed to unwrap the texture images and refine the raw meshes. The feature extraction networks for texture, point cloud, and mesh are then delicately designed, considering the characteristics of different types of data. A more discriminative face representation is derived by feature fusion for the final attractiveness prediction. During network training, the cyclical learning rate with an improved range test is introduced, so as to alleviate the difficulty in hyperparameter setting. Extensive experiments are conducted on a 3D FAP benchmark, where the results demonstrate the significance of deep feature fusion and enhanced learning rate in cooperatively facilitating the performance. Specifically, the fusion of texture image and point cloud achieves the best overall prediction, with PC, MAE, and RMSE of 0.7908, 0.4153, and 0.5231, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Over the past decades, there has been a growing interest in rechargeable aqueous Zn‐ion batteries (AZIBs) as a viable substitute for lithium‐ion batteries. This is primarily due to their low cost, lower redox potential, and high safety. Nevertheless, the progress of Zn metal anodes has been impeded by various challenges, including the growth of dendrites, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution reaction during repeated cycles that result in low Coulombic efficiency and a short lifetime. Therefore, we represent recent advances in Zn metal anode protection for constructing high‐performance AZIBs. Besides, we show in‐depth analyses and supposed hypotheses on the working mechanism of these issues associated with mildly acidic aqueous electrolytes. Meanwhile, design principles and feasible strategies are proposed to suppress dendrites' formation of Zn batteries, including electrode design, electrolyte modification, and interface regulation, which are suitable for restraining corrosion and hydrogen evolution reaction. Finally, the current challenges and future trends are raised to pave the way for the commercialization of AZIBs. With the goal of reducing ignition voltage, a new type of carbon-based bridge coating (CBBC) was prepared, and its ignition performance was investigated. The size of the bridge area with the lowest ignition voltage was determined, and a secondary ignition phenomenon that occurred during the experiment was analyzed. Self-made conductive carbon paste was printed on the Al _2 O _3 substrate by a screen printing process, and the ignition bridge was shaped using laser etching technology. Both ends of the CBBC were coated with conductive silver paste and lead on their electrodes. A stabilized DC power supply was used for the ignition experiment. The ignition performance of the CBBCs under different bridge sizes was measured, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) characterization and analysis were performed on the surface of the ignition bridge area before and after the experiment. The CBBCs with a bridge area size of 300 × 300 μ m could be ignited at or under 24 V, and only part of the CBBCs could be triggered when the bridge area size was 500 × 500 μ m. Further, the ignition voltage may have been influenced by the poor uniformity of the coating thickness. Overall, the results demonstrate the following: (1) The CBBCs prepared in this experiment could be fully ignited at a voltage of 24 V, (2) a bridge size of 300 × 300 μ m could ensure stable ignition with low voltage, and (3) the tip discharge caused by the first fuse of the CBBCs was the root cause of the secondary ignition.

In this paper, a deep learning-based fault diagnosis framework is proposed to improve the fault diagnosis accuracy of system-level equipment such as condenser systems in nuclear power plants. The condenser system signals are non-vibrating, slowly time-varying, and multi-dimensional in nature. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a deep learning-based fault diagnosis framework, which adopts the idea of combining data warehouse modeling and deep learning fault diagnosis, and establishes the data set required for deep learning through accurate simulation modeling of typical condenser faults, so as to make full use of the feature extraction capability of deep learning under large-scale samples. Based on this, an end-to-end deep learning model is developed for accurate diagnosis of multiple condenser faults under multiple system conditions. Through the fault diagnosis experiments on the validation set data under various system conditions, the fault diagnosis accuracy is as high as 0.9584, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed framework in fault diagnosis of system-level equipment.

Metabolomics has been rapidly developed as an important field in plant sciences and natural products chemistry. As the only natural source for a diversity of monoterpenoid indole alkaloids (MIAs), especially the low-abundance antitumor agents vinblastine and vincristine, Catharanthus roseus is highly valued and has been studied extensively as a model for medicinal plants improvement. Due to multistep enzymatic biosynthesis and complex regulation, genetic modification in the MIA pathway has resulted in complicated changes of both secondary and primary metabolism in C. roseus, affecting not only the MIA pathway but also other pathways. Research at the metabolic level is necessary to increase knowledge on the genetic regulation of the whole metabolic network connected to MIA biosynthesis. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a very suitable and powerful complementary technique for the identification and quantification of metabolites in the plant matrix. NMR-based metabolomics has been used in studies of C. roseus for pathway elucidation, understanding stress responses, classification among different cultivars, safety and quality controls of transgenic plants, cross talk between pathways, and diversion of carbon fluxes, with the aim of fully unravelling MIA biosynthesis, its regulation and the function of the alkaloids in the plant from a systems biology point of view.
